my sukuna brainrot had me researching goryeo period hanbok if sukuna was born around late 900s thats riiight about when goryeo was achieving true unification of the kr peninsula tbh im more versed in joseon era hanbok cuz thats like THEE PEAK of hanbok aes imo we all kno these iconic looks

we have artwork & photos even so researching joseon era hanbok is easy peasy but idk SHID abt goryeo period the only drama i've seen from that era is "shine or go crazy" where my gay ass fell in love w lee hanui its a made up story but it does mention later balhae which is 927-935 but like idk if this costuming is anywhere near accurate @_@ and i've seen a bit of queen woo but kr articles were criticizing the historically inaccurate costuming so welp also that one is set in like late 100c so wrong era!

i found a neat little source here that seems legit and i gotta say i love the little ribbon bow thing on the side thats really cute it looks like its just on one side ????? i wish we had more pics :(

the best thing i found on my search is this design supposedly worn by royal consort sunbi, one of king chungseon's wives from the early 1300s this is p close to early joseon era tho not rly 900s-1000s :(

like no way that is so pretty? the little pleated trim on the arms? 1000/10 ik this is a recreation and probably nicer than how the original design likely was but i'll take it! very nice 👍🏻 additionally found this source by googling sunbi it is v academic omg i just kinda skimmed it but they have some info on womenswear from 13-14c and even a section on the details of sunbis banquet attire :0
