this one’s kinda silly but i just KNOW he’s the type of mf to bring in all the groceries in one trip

he takes such good candid pictures of you it’s actually insane. you genuinely don’t know how he even takes these without you noticing but somehow they’re always amazing

also, he doesn’t like deleting pictures of you. something about it doesn’t feel right to him so he’ll have a handful of pics that have your face all blurry or cropped out, but it’s still you so why should he delete it??

1. eating/cooking - I feel like teen gojo mostly but older gojo would also find great joy in concocting heinous meals in the kitchen like his ‘ultimate sandwich’

2. wordle - doesn’t matter how good he claims to be, he has a meltdown and a half whenever he can’t get the answer in two tries. He’ll also gasp when he forgets to do his daily wordle and does it then and there.

3. map quizzing - he claims to be good, and with full confidence says the wrong answer. But will shove it in your face if he gets it right. He’ll go through a phase every couple of weeks trying to force anyone to vers him

1. fixing/updating his motorcycle - he’d only be able to do this when he’s at his parents house bc it’s tedious work and needs a lot of time which he doesn’t rlly have when he’s at school.

2. music - I feel like teen geto would be swamped with school and missions most of the time to fully indulge himself into music, so when he gets more time I feel like he’d post

1. amature barista - I think she missed good coffee when she’d go back home, so she took this up to satiate her coffee addiction. But then ended up having so much fun making it at home she got a full station when she got her own home.

2. swimming - she finds swimming relaxing, whether it’s the ocean, the pool or a lake. When she was young she had a lake near her house and she’d go swimming with her friends there all summer long, she hopes to take her friends one day.

3. collects mini toys - like mini purses and doll pieces, her fav is the mini hair dryer and straighter but she absolutely cherishes the ones utahime makes her <3

1. baking (duh) - although he doesn’t get into bread making until he’s older, I feel like teen nanami could make gooodd brownies and cookies that aren’t sickeningly sweet

2. reading (another obvi) - teen nanami would probably like those very long and complicated fantasy series and perhaps would like crime/thriller novels. But I feel maybe as nanami gets older he likes to read more literary fiction.

3. walks - I feel like he’d love to take the subway to a less crowded area and walk around with headphones in. He especially loves places with green landscapes or rivers

1. comic and manga collector - loves seeing his collection grow over the years and loves sharing the stuff he has with his friends for them to enjoy also

2. legos - I feel like he has an impressive lego collection at his parents house but never dares to bring the larger ones to his dorm, he has smaller builds in his dorm which are still very impressive

3. board games - probably owns games you’ve never heard of, mostly plays with either you and nanami. But sometimes the group plays if they can get the rules down. But word of advice, don’t play monopoly with utahime or gojo 0.o

1. jewellery making - is the friend who has a lifetime amount of beads at her disposal. Loves making friendship bracelets for you and shoko, especially to mark like special events like holiday you guys go on or just for fun

2. painting - specifically flowers and landscapes, it reminds her of the place she grew up in and how her mother used to paint the summer flowers when she was growing up.

3. mini clay pieces - using air drying clay to make some little things like tiny mugs or tiny figurines like dinosaurs. When she made some little tortoises for shoko she screamed

Over the next week, you’re a busy bee. You work harder than ever before to make sure you can take Friday off. Bucky invited you for dinner at his place, and you don’t want to miss your second date for anything in the world.

“Look at our cheery co-worker,” your colleague huffs as you whistle a tune while printing more copies. Only thinking of Bucky and the perfect date you had makes you smile. She can’t ruin your mood.

“A good morning for you too,” you chirp but don’t turn around. Her sour mood is not your problem. It’s not your job to cheer her up. You tried so often, but she only got bitchier whenever you offered your help or tried to be nice.

“Why are you so cheery on a Wednesday morning,” she snarls and stands a little closer. While she looks over your shoulder at the copier, you smile to yourself. If you told her about your date, Alpine and Bucky, your colleague would find a way to ruin it for you too. “Did something good happen over the last days?”

You bite your tongue before you can tell her about your date and Bucky. She’s a nosy bitch and would spread rumors about you and your date without a doubt.

“Nothing special,” you lie, and focus on finishing your task. There’s more than enough to do today, and you don’t have time to entertain her.

“You’re chirping like a little bird, and flutter around the office just the same. I wonder what got into you, is all,” she presses on, determined to find out about the cause of your happiness.”

“I got a new plant,” you say to stop her from asking more questions. The last thing you need is that you accidentally tell her about Bucky.

“I bet it has something to do with your secret admirer. Did he send you more than flowers this time? Lingerie? Dick pics.”

You grit your teeth and exhale sharply. How can she talk like that about your secret admirer? He’d never do such a thing. Your secret admirer is a gentleman, not some creep sending your lingerie or dick pics.

Your colleague keeps on nagging about work, your secret admirer, and life in general. Just like before, you ignore her. No one is going to ruin your mood, or the happiness you feel because of your date with Bucky.

Only the thought of him makes everything better. Your day. Your nights. Your whole life.

She can’t bring you down or take your happiness away from you. Walking away, the copies tugged under your arm you smile sweetly at your colleague. “I need to go back to my desk. If you have any more questions, please make an appointment.”

She gives you the stinky eye, but you don’t care.

“Alpine, we need to clean this place. It must be sparkling clean when Y/N comes here for our date,” Bucky rummages inside the kitchen, looking for a cleaner. “Alpine, no more making the floor dirty. Stop hiding your toys in every corner, punk.”

Alpine hisses at the bucket stand on the floor. The white furball walks past Bucky to jump onto the sofa and get comfortable in their favorite spot.

“Hey, help me here. You want her to like you too, right?” Bucky cocks his head to look at his cat. “Punk, if we want to bring her into our life, you should put more effort into winning her over.”

Bucky furrows his brows. He looks at the bucket and then at the cleaner, deciding to try this new direction first. If dates and love confession won’t work out, he can still let the darker thoughts take over and bring you away.

Maybe convincing you to move in with him isn’t going to work out. Maybe, just maybe he should stick to his original plan and take you away from the life you’re living to give you a better one.

“Hmm…ladies. What do you think?” You pose in front of your plushies while trying on another dress. “No, that’s not the one.” Sighing deeply, you strip off the dress to toss it onto the bed to join the pile of clothing.

Again, you walk toward your wardrobe to get the next dress out. In a few days, you’ve got the next date with Bucky, and you want to look beautiful for him.

Grabbing another dress in fifties style you frown. What if Bucky doesn’t like your style? Maybe you should try something sexier on.  

You shake your head. No. Bucky is not like that. He’s a gentleman and admired the dress you wore for your first date more than once.

“What do you say, this one?” You take your favorite dress out. A rockabilly fifties swing dress, adorned with a beautiful cream-colored floral print and pastel green foliage on a pale salmon pink background. The dress boasts cute, capped sleeves and a ruched chest panel. It’s the perfect mix of cute and stylish. “Do you think he’ll like it?”

Your plushies can’t help you decide. Of course, they can’t. You already know that the dress is the perfect choice for your date with Bucky. If he doesn’t make a move on Friday night, you’ll be damned…

Riddle Rosehearts

As much of a stickler Riddle is for keeping the peace, unless it's necessary not to, he can tell when someone is not in the mood for nonsense in the exhausted sense of the word. He will ask to speak with you in private, away from any snickering and gossip.

"Queen's Rule #568: Grievances must be shared over a cup of lavender tea and the griever's favorite treat."

You and Riddle will enjoy this occasion in the quiet side of the garden, where Riddle allows you to rant about your issues as he listens with open ears. Riddle always had Trey and Chen'ya who would listen to his problems, so it was only right as a Housewarden to act upon his position with you, even if you aren't his house student.

He knows it's not the permanent solution, but, while also warning not to tell anyone that this happened, he gives you a hug of comfort, lifting your spirits just a little.

Trey Clover

You have your head to the floor, so you don't notice Trey approaching when you accidentally bump into him and step on the tip of his shoe. Already distressed enough as it is, you apologize profusely. Trey smirks as he replies:

When you're not feeling your best, the last you need is someone or something to make it worse. Ace didn't get on your best side as he pulled off the "dunk your face into your lunch" prank today. He didn't react so nicely when you told him off, but after realizing what had gone on prior to that prank, he finds you during flying class to try to make things up for what he did.

"Yuu...what happened at lunch today, I'm sorry. I should've just said, "Hi," and asked how you were doing. I didn't know you were already mad. Please forgive me. If you can't, let me make it up to you somehow."

If Ace wasn't sincere, you supposed he would've waited until after class was over to apologize. Now that he was listening, you let out everything that had been going on before Ace pulled off the prank. You also express the "I message," which Ace is more than willing to accept.

With Vargas busy with...whatever Vargas is doing, Ace offers you to go on a flying ride with him. A little entertainment screaming would do you some good to make you forget about your problems...even just a little.

Deuce Spade

Deuce finds it odd that you've been less chatty as of late. You barely even spoke when the professors pointed to you for answers to their questions. He catches you after class and asks what's happening. He's all ears to hearing you out. That's when you finally respond, and he feels the pain with every word that comes out of you.

"Ah geez, Yuu. I'm really sorry. I think I've been feeling it, too, and when I'm feeling that way, I need a Blastcycle ride. Wanna go on one right now?"

You don't find that to be a bad idea, so you guys head out and take a campus ride to let the issues out of your hair. The island is lovely enough for its wind to brush it right out.

Pablo had been recently talking about a teddy bear he used to have when he was a baby but sadly lost at the park, how much it meant to him and how he hadn't been able to find another one like he had.

You, being the good girlfriend you are and knowing your baby deserved everything he wanted, you had "stolen" (It was more of an you had asked Belén for a baby Pablo pic with said teddy and she had happily sent you a bunch of pics. One of those, that you had made as your lockscreen recently) a pic of Pablo and said teddy.

Looking up at it you smiled seeing they had it on stock and went to get one, that's how you get here. His teddy was your first stop, then to the Apple store and then to the flower shop to confirm your bouquet for him and made it as well, after that you decided to go to KFC where you will be meeting, seeing he was already there and ordering something for the two of you.

You went behind his back and wrapped your arms around him, he quickly reacted by looking down at your hands and relaxed seeing they were yours. He leaned more into you.

"Hope you got the 12 pieces chicken service along with a coca cola because I'm starving" You spoke with your lips on his cheek before placing a kiss there

"I'm breaking my diet for you" He said after turning his head to you and give you a kiss on your lips, letting go of your hands before trying to stand up but you quickly moved to pull your own chair out winning a quick glare from Pablo.

Once your food came, you ate and when you were done; you went to your shared apartment, showered and spent the rest of your evening in each others arms.

Two days passed by and your anniversary was on, both of you being a little suspicious, giggly and lovely (more than usual), in the morning before Pablo left for morning training

"I'm all yours after 3pm" He had said before running to the door because he was running late thanks to your loving session on the morning.

You smiled remembering the light touches and the breathy love sentences shared in between you two, when you felt your hip bone shake. You stumbled out of your Pabloland and got into work.

You made his favorite cake and looked for his bouquet of sunflowers, after that you prepared a bath for the two of you and also did lunch, you settled the living room with a nice, romantic and low lights, some candles and prepared for everything.

It's not always you have three years with the love of your life.

And even though, you wanted to doll yourself up for him, it would be useless since you'll end up... well, you know...

So, you did doll yourself up but remaining basic. You let your hair down after washing it, did a bit of makeup and got into a black long sleeve bodysuit with a jean skirt overall and some socks. You smiled watching the hour in your phone. 2.45.

He would be here any moment.

And he was. Your smile got bigger once you heard his steps come in.

"Like it? Are you crazy? I loved this!" You laughed softly "However, wait here"

"Pablo, no" You said whining not feeling his warm skin on yours "Where are you going?"

"For your gift!" Hearing his words made you run to the laundry room and get his things. You both looked at each other coming out from different rooms "Got it?" You nod smiling

"Got something else tho" You said before bringing him into the kitchen where his bouquet was

"Are you serious?" He asked smiling

"Why? You don't like them?"

He leaves his gifts on the counter before he runs to the back where he comeS back again with a bouquet of sunflowers on his hands... You laughed softly getting what he meant.

"We got each other the sunflowers" He said as you laugh

"They're gorgeous to be honest"

"Yes, I love them" Pablo said smiling sniffing the bouquet you gave him "But gifts now"

You laugh passing him his bags as he gave you, yours. You both sat on the floor, in front of each other, your legs touching

"At three... One, two" You said softly "three"

"NO WAY!"

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!" You screamed surprised, pulling out the same teddy bear you had brought for him "Why did you get it?!" Pablo was laughing with his back on the floor

"Joder" He said laughing

"Pablo, you ruined my surprise!"

"No, you ruined mine! I was planning to give you this teddy ever since we went to Sevilla!"

"I was planning to give you that teddy since you started telling me about it when we were in Sevilla!" You replied laughing. You laid next to him "Why you gave me this tho?"

"Wanted you to have something from me when I was a baby" He shrugged "You?"

"You told me you lost it and that it meant a lot to you. So I searched for it and found it!"

"Do we have the same gifts for each other?"

"Please as cute and pretty it was, I don't think my next two gifts are the same as yours"

"Does one of the gifts involves ourselves with a red ribbon at night for the other to unwrap, because if it is then yes we may have" You push his shoulder laughing

"Stop that"

"But don't you have it?"

"Not with the ribbon at least" You both laugh hard at that. You extended your hand and give him his other gift "Open it"

"A phonecase?"

"Well, yes... Your phone is suffering a lot with those falls, mi vida. But it isn't like any other regular phonecase, this one has our initials and the date when we started dating" You showed your recent changed phone case "I have the same too" Pablo smiled grabbing you by your face and kissing you

"Gracias, te amo"

"You like it?"

"Love it. My phone will be forever grateful with you" You smile against his lips before you felt him place a bag on your lap "Go ahead"

You opened the bag and gasped "You're kidding" He shook his head as you pulled it out "Across the Universe?!" You laughed weirdly and excited "I'll be reading it right before we go to bed!"

"We'll be reading it" He corrected "I want to read it with you" You smile shaking your head before kissing him

"Te amo" You said feeling like your heart ccould burst out in any minute before your gaze when to the forgotten teddies who were next to each other looking at you two "We're so cute"

"We are" Pablo nods "But I'd like to say this is a Soulmate Thing. Fate show us that we belong to the other. We're each other soulmates, so I think we should get used to this things now"

You smiled nodding "We definitely should, soulmate"

SHENANIGANS: Where Mai gives headcanons to the Voices in your Head ™️ based purely off vibes!!

This episode: THE VOICES GET HIGH OFF THEIR ASSES!

((Listening to your friend while they're high is a fun experience...so let's slap em onto the voices!!

Disclaimer: this post is about the recreational consumption of medicinal herbs. I do not condone addiction and/or substance abuse. And all of my information is taken from my friend, who does take medicinal herbs, however take this with a grain of salt.

Voice of the HERO: the most hesitant to get high. The lucidity doesn't sit right with her. But she will take a huff or 2 to unwind. She finds the smoke a little too much, but once she settles, it's not that different from her normal self. It's actually quite relaxing. Calmly sipping some drinks and making small talk.

Voice of the SMITTEN: Oh he did NOT expect the smoke hitting him so strongly. This is the ONLY time Smitten speaks without his usual dramatic flair. His tongue is sharper, but about as sharp as a pair of safety scissors. He is still extremely affectionate, and that's extended to everyone now, not just the Princesses. Hell, he'd call everyone a Princess in this state. Flirts are dialed up to 11.

Voice of the SKEPTIC: At first, he doesn't want to. He likes to be the "sober" guy. Sadly, as the nature of this headcanon post, he will get hit. It's like relaxing muscles he never realized were tense, and feeling things he never felt before. His analytical side is basically under lock and key for the time, and he expresses more opinions. And maybe go into all of their psyches. Be ready for a debate when you talk to a High Skeptic.

Voice of the COLD: one of the more familiar voices to getting high, he probably has a stash in his room. Though, he doesn't do it often. It gets boring after a while. But he did suggested everyone else getting high. Once everyone's loose, he gets to talking and seeing how they react, now that some inhibitions are off. As a caveat, he will refill snacks and drinks, but good luck catching him do it. The next day, no one remembers a goddamn thing.

Voice of the PARANOID: he benefits GREATLY from this. No longer jittery, frightful and most importantly, paranoid, he can just...enjoy the time with people he cares about without the usual hangs up. However, he is still jumpy if you touch him all of the sudden. He normally doesn't swear, but in this states, all bets are off and if you upset him (which is hard to do, anyway), he will curse you in a way that will dishonor you, your family, your cow and your entire soul.

Voice of the OPPORTUNIST: Despite having a flower in his chest and eye, he still can get high off of Marijuana, just not opioid. With his defenses down, he's a lot more closed off, honestly. You have to coax him out of his lil corner on the couch. He always said that he thought they hated him (which was true, once upon a time). And they reassured that he's changed and belongs with them. About as emotional as Smitten is, right now, and will hug the nearest person, crying and saying he's sorry and how much he loves them.

Voice of the STUBBORN: as a big guy and his first time, it's about high, in terms of how loose he is. A curse word there, a punch here, but he is much more mellow. Less likely to send you flying, even if you intentionally piss him off. He just wants to vibe and enjoy himself. The best cuddle bug you could lie on right now. He will embrace you and you will feel safe in his soft, warm and beefy arms (basically everyone will pile on him, by the end of the night).

Voice of the CHEATED: You have NO idea how much she needs this!! Everything hurts all the time and this is the stuff she needs. Since she takes it recreationally, the effects don't hit as much as everyone else's, but it still makes the pain go less. Very cuddle and more likely to pass off any attempts at pissing her off, but she's not Stubborn levels of mellow. She will still throw hands, but as long as Broken is nearby, nothing will actually break.

Voice of the BROKEN: Where do you think the stash came from? This woman is devious. She was able to convince everyone to get high with her. Frequently hotboxes (basically getting high in a closed space) with Cold and Cheated so she is the Weed veteran of the voices. Why does she need weed? Because her lack of legs and depressive mindset are the 2 contributing factors. Plus, because she can remain somewhat coherent, she gets to take care of everyone else for a change. Not physically but making sure no one is taking too much all at once, asking to make sure they stay awake, and stuff like that...

Voice of the HUNTED: He really doesn't like getting high, but damnit, the temptation!! All pretense of being a person goes out the window. He is on the floor, curled up around a bowl of snacks, occasionally nibbling ceetos and purring up a storm. Everyone can pet him, as long as it's not his belly. And who doesn't love a dog to pet while you're high af? (disclaimer: please do not get your pets high on Marijuana)

Voice of the CONTRARIAN: it's like a light switch, when she's high. The energy is gone, from Connie. It's about as relaxed as Hunted is. Sprawled on the floor, face down, mask off too. She doesn't want to put up an act when everyone's so chill. It's boring anyway, when they're too Mellow to react to what she does. So it's eepy time for her. She's the reason Cold has to refill the snacks, bc weed gives her the munchies. Will be the first to sober up, once the smoke clears, and only then will she bother everyone (mostly to get them to sleep in their beds and not on the floor)

Bonus: LARRY THE LONG QUIET BEING HIGH

Larry has no idea what it's like to be high so he just lays on the ground letting it pass. Once the sleepiness hits, it's like the most relaxed he's ever felt. Not even Narrator is free from the effects of weed, so he's cooked out too. The Princess, if he ever gets to her, will probably join him and Shifty will be confused, but delights in sharing a novel experience with Larry. Will definitely let him sleep in her embrace.

Rose wasn’t sure exactly why things had changed, but that Incident was the real start of the change. That entire week, either Gaz or Soap showed up in the morning and insisted on staying to help. Somehow, all of their numbers ended up in her phone. (She knew it was Gaz, even though she hadn’t seen him do it.) On Wednesday, Soap manned the front while Rose had an impromptu interview with a young man who’d walked in asking after the “help wanted” sign. 

Thursday had an entirely different kind of surprise. 

“You should have told me you were finally starting an Instagram for this place!” Kelly, one of her regulars who worked upstairs, gushed. “I’ve got some cute pics, I’ll tag the shop in them!”

“Uh.” Rose blinked at her, completely thrown. “Thanks?” 

Kelly just beamed at her, taking her coffee and leaving.

Rose turned slowly to look at Gaz, who was just coming out of the back. He didn’t even look abashed, just shrugging when she met his gaze. 

“Did you do this?”

“It’ll help business,” Gaz said with an easy shrug. “Besides, you’ve got such a cozy place here, it’s very photogenic.” 

Rose huffed. “Fine, do whatever you want, but don’t expect me to help. I’m terrible at social media.”

“I’ve got it handled.” Gaz grinned, dropping an easy arm over her shoulders. “Don’t you even wanna see the page, love?”

“Oh, alright. Go on, show off.” But Rose still smiled indulgently, leaning a little into his side. He was warm and she felt all too comfortable with him. 

Gaz squeezed her shoulders a little and used his free hand to show her the page for the coffee shop. It was very nice, she had to admit. He’d gotten some great pictures, including one of the empty store (and she wasn’t entirely sure how he’d managed that). 

“Wow. These are really good. Think you might’ve missed your calling as a photographer.” Rose flipped back to her favorite picture - a mug of tea next to a vase of flowers, warm morning sunshine spilling across the table. 

“Gonna make me blush, love.” But Gaz grinned at her, giving her another little squeeze. “I can send you this one if you want?” 

“Sure.” Rose hesitated then, licking her lips, glancing up at him. “Actually…”

“Yeah?” His gaze flitted to her before he navigated to his texts, already loading the picture to send to her. 

“Do you have a picture of all of you? All of your office, I mean.” Rose felt herself warm and hoped she wasn’t blushing much. “I’d love a group picture of you all.”

“I can get you one.” Gaz gave her one last squeeze before he let his arm drop. “You got any plans this weekend?”

Rose sighed, shrugging a little. “Thinking I might do half-days,” she admitted. “At least until I can hire a couple people and get them trained.” 

“A couple people?” Gaz looked interested. 

“Yeah. Be a good idea to have backup, and that will make it easier if I need to take an actual day off and not just weekends.” Rose shrugged again. It made sense to her. 

Gaz nodded. “Good thinking,” he agreed. “You want help?”

“You have managed to be down here every day,” Rose scolded. “I appreciate the thought, very much so, but you need downtime too.”

“Love, this is nothing.” He grinned, amused. “We all used to be in much more stressful situations.” 

“Don’t care,” Rose grumbled. “The answer is still no.” 

Gaz huffed and shook his head. But he didn’t argue further - whether because he was giving in or just reevaluating his plan, Rose wasn’t sure. 

He didn’t bring up the topic again, and they worked easily through the lunch rush. Gaz ushered her off to eat after that, holding down the fort. 

“I need to run upstairs,” he said once she was back. 

“Of course. Go. Shoo. You could have said so sooner.” Rose frowned at him.

“It’s nothing serious,” Gaz assured her, unable to resist pulling her in for a quick hug. “I’ll be back.” 

Rose watched him go, shaking her head. He had way too much energy. And was too cavalier about his own time. A side effect of his career prior to this, maybe. 

Either way. She’d keep an eye on him, make sure he didn’t overwork himself. (Well, she’d do the same thing for all of them, actually.) 

The afternoon was quiet, giving her time to do some inventory and ordering. She also got caught up on some of the family news, smiling when she saw a cousin had gotten a sort-of promotion and a special assignment. Actually, that seemed like something she should mention to Rodolfo and Alejandro - they might be able to help her cousin, and the other way around. Hm. Now that was something to consider. 

Her musing was interrupted by a text from Gaz. A picture of the group of them, all squished together in the office. Soap was grinning broadly at the camera, as was Gaz. Rodolfo and Alejandro looked amused more than anything. Ghost just stared straight into the camera, and Price looked exasperated but amused. 

She immediately saved the photo and tucked her phone away again. 

Gaz didn’t come back down, which was fine. He didn’t actually work at the coffee shop, after all. 

But Rodolfo did come down, smiling at her. 

“Hi, Rodolfo.” She leaned one hip against the counter. “What can I get for you?”

“Actually, I have a question for you, bonita.” He stopped opposite her, holding her gaze. 

“Yeah?” Rose blinked at him, curious. 

“Do you have any plans Saturday evening?” He swallowed, a little nervous, but didn’t back down. “Alejo and I would love to have you for dinner.” 

Rose blinked, lips parting in surprise. “I’m free,” she agreed, trying not to answer too quickly. “That sounds wonderful.”

“I can meet you here?” He offered her a hopeful smile. “I could show you a few recipes, if you like.”

Her answering smile was bright and she nodded eagerly. “Absolutely,” she agreed. “But let me take care of dessert, please?”

“Won’t say no to that.” His smile widened. “What time should I be here?”

Rose tapped her fingers against the counter. “I’m planning to close at 2, so any time around then.” 

He nodded, leaning forward a little. “Got it,” he murmured. He paused then, looking at her more closely, and his shoulders relaxed a little before he smiled. “You look happier.”

“Do I?” Rose could feel herself blushing, tempted to duck her head. But she didn’t. 

“You do. Is a good look on you, bonita.” His smile widened, one hand lifting to brush a finger over the apple of her cheek. 

Rose did duck her head then, unable to hold his gaze. Rodolfo hummed softly, letting his hand fall, apparently unwilling to push. 

“Alejo and I will be off-site tomorrow,” he told her, gently steering her back to steadier topics, giving her time to compose herself again. “But I will be here Saturday by 2.”

“Okay.” Rose took a deep breath and then smiled, a little shy and a lot pleased. “I hope it all goes well tomorrow for you two.”

“We’ll tell you all about it on Saturday.” He paused. “Well. What we can tell you.”

Rose nodded her understanding. “So long as you don’t get in trouble.”

“With Price?” He outright snorted. “Would take a lot more than telling you too much.”

Curiosity made her lean forward a bit, but good sense held her back from asking. “Even so.”

He nodded, just once, gaze intent on hers. “Even so,” he agreed softly. “I should go. Have a good rest of your day.”

“You too.” Rose couldn’t help but smile as he left, excitement rising in her chest. 

Saturday could not come fast enough for her. 

Fortunately, Friday went quickly and easily, with another person coming in for an interview. That one went well, and Rose made a mental note to call them back next week. Soap spent a good portion of the day in the shop, warm and easy.

Really, Rose had no idea how she’d gotten so lucky with these guys, but she had. She made another mental note to find a way to show them how much she appreciated them. 

A look at the calendar gave her an idea, and she hummed to herself. That might just work.

She just needed a big enough kitchen.

But that could be figured out later. For now, she had to finish out the day. And the next.

Your Valentine's day will probably be a one out-of-the-book. Love and passion will be the main subjects for your day. You may enjoy a candlelight dinner or just a cozy date in a pub with your person, after which lot of kissing and 18+ stuff (that I won't mention in this reading) may take place. You and your person (or one of the two, as a surprise for the other) may have organized something special to celebrate: it really feels like you two are gonna spend the whole day (or as much as you can out if it) together and alone (meaning: there may be other people around like in a restaurant, but no one you really know). As mentioned some may enjoy a romantic dinner or date, others a one-day vacation to a special place (I'm seeing a spa/private pool/ water: it could mean simply lot of emotions but also that it will take place near water and water is gonna be pretty important), others may even get the chance to get a proposal on this date. Whatever will happen, it's gonna be very emotional and you'll love it. Back to the water-bit: it may involve indeed lot of deep conversations about your feelings and your goals as a couple, where you want to go, how you feel with the other and so on... lots of compliments, lot of love. You'll both feel good, complete, with the other. as if you don't need anything else. You'll realize how balanced is your relationship and that it's gonna worth it to fight for each other and to keep trying and get wherever you dream to be with the other. There is a huge stress about getting a message or something. Like.. probably your first Valentine's day you won't really be dating this person or you will be apart, and you'll only get to celebrate "online". For some others, it may be a difficult moment so you may not be able to celebrate on that day (mild illness or unwellness that may keep you apart: even just a very strong cold). It's weird cause I have lot of saliva atm and your pic is about dust... fels like you will try to fight over this "block" you may encounter about celebrating your Valentine's day with your person. It feels like maybe one of the two will find a way to take a trip and visit the other or even organize something like a serenade under the window despite being far away, or even sending flowers + a special video. Yup some of you may be finding ways to take care of your person on that day, cause they may not be feeling good (it could be vice versa). It will be a caring day, cute and sweet. Like you're gonna taste real love meaning. Some other, you may be fighting against other types of blockages, like your past traumas or some issues. Maybe you had a small quarrel with your person or sth, but either you will try to see things from a different perspective or they will approach you with a loving gesture to ask for forgiveness (I'm again seeing someone under the window, with a bouquet of roses, yelling/calling for someone, maybe singing too). Whatever will be going on, you'll feel calmer at the end of the day, more aware of your relationship and what/how you can work on to make it better (also, if it's you needing to work on your fears or not feeling good enough, your person will let you know they're by your side in this and that they won't rush you in anyway -they like you a lot, btw, exactly the way you are). Hello sweet pile 3. Your Valentine's day may happen in a cozy environment like either of your homes, you may be even cooking together. Very cute and comfy and "best-friends" vibes here. You'll also have fun with your person, you may watch a movie or play a game or sth. Sweet, innocent, cute type of love. Lot of smiles, some random flirting... I cannot find many other words to express this. Feels like you cannot see it coming as for now. And you're supposed not to. You may have been working on a lot... differently from pile 2, but still you have been through many trials and tribulations, and you have been dreaming of love, of someone to feel cozy with, to be yourself, no masks, nothing, your pure self with. And be appreciated for that and loved. You know you deserve love (or you will realize it soon). You know you can get that... it's just a matter of realizing that it will happen, that it won't be always just a dream. That you're now able to change, and move towards this dream, this person, and change the result (maybe in the past you have been left down by your crushes or never really experienced love, a true deep conenction, probably not even with friends... you feel kinda lonely atm, right? I'm sorry, you shouldn't feel that at all, you're a lovely person.. but al that happens, happens to teach us something and this was to teach you how much you worth). You deserve much more, you deserve to try, to allow yourself to try this new experience, to be vulnerable and to let this person in, fully. They will find you, that's out of the question: you'll have your dream. Just believe in yourself, startbeing yourself (no people pleasing, stand your ground) and allow yourself to make a change in this sense. A change inside. You're not stuck in your past, you're grown from there. And so will your experiences and your life. Probably you'll have to spend next Valentine's day by youserlf but showing yourself the love and appreciation you deserve: gift yourself whatever you like and want, treat yourself, love yourself. Koopa Valley AU

Just had a sudden thought. So you know how there are flower shop aus for Bowuigi? I thought of something like essentially a set up like Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley where maybe somebody the bros had rescued had died and in their will gave his farm to the bros.

Mario, of course, isn't exactly into it because of not really having the time for farming. Luigi, however, has always enjoyed gardening and thinks that retiring would be relaxing. The old man was a koopa that lives maybe on the borders of the kingdoms, maybe even IN the Koopa Kingdom. Either way, Luigi moves in and Bowser of course gets wind about a Mario Brother moving in on his turf. Bowser goes there at first and is ready to wreck havoc, get answers. Finding out the reasoning doesn't exactly make Bowser any less suspicious. But it's enough to give him pause. After all, the place was a koopa property. He'll have his people look into it, keep a word out for anything suspicious. he will NOT let them try and play some ploy for Mario. Guy sucks at scheming anyway! Why would he just leave his weak defenseless bro out in HIS territory?? Makes no sense!

Well time goes on, and word has been that Luigi has become more settled in the small town in that part of the area. People seem to absolutely love him. Not a single bad word, and his spies can't see him doing anything suspicious. Just him and his ghost dog... living on a farm. Again, what the heck? So are you to tell me the guy just upped and everything just because an old koopa asked him to look after the place? Just like that? It's so... thoughtful, disgustingly so. I think what would make the AU work would be if around that area there has already been problems. Maybe farmers in that area had already been struggling? Even with being so far from the volcano, not enough sun? Or, because they're so far away from volcanic activity koopa crop can't thrive there. Luigi, however, has been using his time to experiment. See what from both kingdoms works. And he's starting to thrive, actually doing REALLY well? It's Bowser who has the idea of taking a gamble. On one hand it gives him an excuse to personally check in on things, and two, it might actually be useful. Bowser makes an agreement to personally fund Luigi's farm, in exchange to it going towards the people in the outskirts of his kingdom. He will give money, he will send workers. Give Luigi more land, whatever is needed. And Luigi, instead of feeling intimidated by the prospects of being under Bowser's control, as the king expects some hesitancy, cause duh-- instead Luigi surprises him by his eagerness and jumps at the offer. He not only gets to help in a way he usually doesn't feel, but not having to struggle with money would also be a bonus. After all, his experiments have quickly been depleting his funds. And thus, a partnership is born. That of course isn't the end. As Luigi becomes even more a part of the village and its surrounding area, Luigi becomes more involved in the community aspect. He starts finding himself partaking and learning about Koopa holidays and their cultures. And Luigi writes letters to the king giving updates. Not something Bowser asked of him, as he planned on having his own men report everything. But Bowser ends up going from amused by the friendly non-professional aspect of how Luigi writes, to full on getting eager for the updates. Valentine HC

So there is like one hour of valentine's day here were I live, so let's do some HC just because...(i actually think valentine is a stupid thing, mostly because it's just not so big here; but stores tries to push it). I have been single for my 25 years of life, but I often give gift's to my bff's. Like small stuff; like a little chocolate and some homemade shit they can hang on their wall or something. Sugawara x Sawamura: Depend on year to year. Since Daichi is a cop, he will sometimes have a shift in the late evening or night, so they can't be doing much. If Daichi is stuck at work; he will call a flower shop and make them deliver a bouquet to their home so Sugawara would be met with a gift when he comes home. Sugawara can't send flowers to the station, but he packs a hefty lunchbox and does the extra stuff as to make heart shaped rice balls and send a note with. He will also have dinner ready or at least a plate that Daichi can reheat if he comes back really late. If they have the evening off, they just order in food and dessert and just enjoy themselves. If they feel like it, they go out and take dinner at a barbeque restaurant and maybe go to a bathhouse.

Yamaguchi x Tsukishima Also depends if either of them have work or not. The museum closes earlier than the office Yamaguchi works at (if it's not holiday period with more tourists). But they usually just go out to eat and maybe catch a movie if they see anything that interest them. If they can't make the time cut, Tsukishima will drive over to Yamaguchi's work, if he is stuck at the office, and he would of course already have picked up some burger and fires ( so they will become soft when they arrive home). Yamaguchi, if he knows Tsukishima will be stuck working longer hours, he will also pick him up and have bought a store-bought cake they can share. They have been friends since childhood, they don't want or expect the other to give anything bigger than some food that they can share.

Kageyama x Hinata Both are athletes and busy. Sometimes they have late practice, sometimes they are out traveling with their sparte team, sometimes they are together, but still busy. I think neither of them would do too much. Maybe Hinata will buy a box of the jelly energy drinks Kageyama likes to have. Kageyama would probably do a similar favour back and buy him a pack of energy bars he could just stuff in his bag and have something to-go when he needs it. I do think they would both have tried at one point ot do something more romantic; but it wasn't for them and they have time for regular date night throughout the year - so they 'dont 'stress it too much. If they have time though, they make a heartly meal together and give each other massages.

Kuroo x Kenma Both of them are busy. Kenma has a yearly stream for his viewers on valentines. It doesn't take too long, but it's something to prepare too. Kuroo is busy with work as usual, but they both make sure to have the evening for just the two of them. Tanaka x Kiyoko Tanaka was very nervous the first real valentine they had as a couple. He and Noya had tired to brainstorm some ideas he could do to treat Kiyoko, but they all seemed to extravagant or to little. Kiyoko, the first year, just shoved up with some chocolate. As in Japan's, on valentine day; girls give chocolate to the guys. And a month late, the guys give chocolate back on white day (14th of March). So Tanaka of course gave chocolate back when it was time. They still stuck with the tradition, but also have a date night at a restaurant and just take a walk through the city centre. Tanaka tried to act though, but it doesn't take much for Kyoko to make him stumble over his words. Kiyoko also tries to act cool, but one romantic gesture from Tanaka have her blushing all over the place.

Iwaizumi x Oikawa They didn't get together until a few years after high school. Plus Oikawa plays for Argentina and Iwaizumi coaches the Japan's Men's volleyball team. So there's a hurdle. If they can make time and the time zones doesn't mess them up too much, they skype call for hours. If they, by miracle: is near each other, they have this weird way of rivalry since they support different teams and will often tease and goad on each other. They know it's just for fun. But when evening comes; they can always be seen walking the same path home. Oikawa one year sent Iwaizumi some money with the message to just buy himself a gift. And this started a tradition. They send over a small amount of money with the massage to just buy themselves a steam bun or a bar of cholate or some extra stuff they want with the massages to take care.

Ushijima x Tendou Ushijima is a very practical person and Tendou is literally a chocolatier in Paris. So they face some of the same problems Iwaizumi and Oikawa have. Tendou makes batch of his finest chocolate that Ushijima likes and sends it over with express delivery so it will arrive around valentines day. I feel like Ushijima is the kind of guy that likes those confectionary chocolates with nuts in them. Ushijima doesn't really understand the in's and out's of this day. He did receive more than enough confession and chocolate in school; but he never really cared about that. At the start, he didn't feel like he could give a chocolate-maker some cholate as a gift. Maybe it would have been too much. Doing something else out of the norm, made him feel like he didn't care enough. Now that he knows the people Tendou works with; he makes a deal that they go out and buy some flowers for him and a gift card on an eastern Asian themed restaurant that they go together when he is visiting paris. Tendou always appreciates it, especially since he misses Japan from time to time.

also, keep in mind that half of the munagenius members (julien, naomi, jo) are not nearly as interested in makeup as artist!bff is, and they typically only wear light makeup for photoshoots and occasionally interviews and shows but even then, they typically have makeup artists doing their makeup. so them three in specific are absolutely enamored by your makeup knowledge and technique. and it’s not that their completely ignorant to any knowledge about makeup, they can tell the difference between blush and highlighter, but the variety and amount of products you had laid out that took over the entire bathroom counter has them questioning everything they know about makeup. so then i imagine naomi walks over and is being a tad bit nosy, when they find your contour and bronzer, holding them up like 💁‍♀️ “what’s the difference?” and so you’re explaining how one sculpts your face and the other gives it warmth, and then you’re explaining primer and what it does, and then julien walks over and suddenly you’re giving a makeup lesson. and you wanna continue doing your makeup desperately, but naomi and julien are listening so intently (they really just love listening to you talking about something so passionately)

and of course when you finish your makeup, the compliments come rolling in (specifically from naomi and julien because even after having received the ultimate makeup lesson by you, they cannot wrap their minds around the fact that you not only have all of that knowledge engraved into your brain, but your technique and what you do with that knowledge is so out of this world to them)

and i think while you’re doing your makeup, all of munagenius do their minutely mirror glances just to see the makeup progress. they loooove to keep up with your makeup steps and see the art come together.

i am such a firm believer that there’s a munagenius gc, and it works out PERFECTLY for this idea. imagine artist!bff sends a couple of pictures of their graphic eye-makeup looks, some selfies and some close-ups. and so then somebody ends up facetiming and notifying the entire gc which then eventually leads to everyone joining the call and munagenius + artist!bff facetime calls is a recipe for chaos because there’s gonna be so many different conversations happening at once. like there’d be a conversation surrounding your makeup, a conversation surrounding why certain people joined late, it would just be CHAOS (which we absolutely love).

AND YES YES YES, occasionally, some of them would 100% ask you to do their makeup. i’m not really gonna be touching on this because i’m gonna further elaborate on the upcoming fem artist!gf x jb hcs wink wink

this is me declaring that munagenius is artist!bff’s #1 protector. like there’s not a single member that loves them less than the others. they all love artist!bff with every fiber of their being.

and omgomgomg they wanna see if their makeup is kiss proof SOOO CUTEEEE (absolutely gonna use this idea in the jb x fem artist!gf thank you very much) ☹️☹️ they’re all like which one can make their makeup smudge first challenge!!!!!!

and oh my god i just had an idea, maybe for the record’s release, artist!bff did angel wings as their eyeliner for ‘always an angel, never a god’. WHY ARE THEY SOOOO CUTE

Random gag story [beware] Light try to bribe Ryuk with apples, so Mikami won't find him (bc he's not in the mood for Mikami's random worship talks about him) 

Ryuk : yea he's boring and he likes to ignore me, for once I'm on ur side Light (he said this bc of apples)

The next day Mikami bribes Ryuk more with a whole box of apples, Now ryuk likes Mikami more and betrayed Light loml

Light only told Mikami about his meeting with Sachiko for the last time before they elope (www) They're not interested in talking about their family he thinks Mikami won't care about them and just move on

But Mikami will respond by randomly talking about her dead mom just trying to sympathize with Light (he's trying) but it makes everything more awkward for Light (like.. okay?) They never talk about their family again for years lol
