"Please stay, enjoy the party. And any other issue please let me know." He said as Loki slipped your coat off handing it to the coat man. "O..ok, I will." You smiled "reindeer games." Tony nodded walking away. You looked up at Loki scrunching your eyebrows "a nickname...I would rather not discuss it." He laughed grabbing your hand pulling you to the dancefloor, wrapping his long arm around your waist he pulled you to his chest smiling down at you.

You took a deep breath looking up into his eyes "what is it love?" He asked watching you "d..did you.." you trailed off looking down "did I what?" He asked placing his finger under your chin lifting your head "did you...mean it?" You asked quietly seeing him smile "every word love, you are an incredible woman." He said cupping your cheek "thank you Loki, but I mean...that you know..." you started "that I love you?" He asked gripping your waist tighter "yes, I meant it." He said as you looked up at him "y/n, I know our situation started as an arrangement, I had no intention of being in a relationship." He said looking around "but you...my dear, have burrowed into my heart, my very soul." He said "in fact, I was going to ask you this evening if you do me the honor of properly courting you?" He asked rubbing circles on your lower back.

"I...loki I don't..." you stuttered as your mind reeled with the new information. "You do not have to answer now, I understand if..." you cut him off pressing your lips to his, wrapping your arms around his neck feeling his hand on your bare back making you shiver as you pulled back slightly "loki...I have a confession." You said looking into his deep green eyes "i...I love you too." You smiled "and yes, I would love to be courted...my king." You said pecking his lips. "I adore you my queen." He said as you buried your face in his neck "I do have one stipulating my dear." He said making you look at him "I insist you continue using my pet name." He smiled down at you "I think I can do that...Lo." you said feeling his chest rumble.

"Would you care to see my room love? It is only a few floors up." He said running his fingers up and down your back "lead the way Lo." You smiled, linking your fingers together he guided you to the door. You looked up at this man...god...prince and smiled knowing he was yours...and yours alone.

ok basically yesterday fucking sucked I saw two of my friends again and this one guy who irritates the hell out of me but I'll talk about that later. first one was chill we're going to a concert anyway and they messaged me like two weeks ago to see if I was ok they're cool I KNOW they like me and want to see me more even when I'm avoidant so like that's Safe. and then the other... text message guy. the WEIRDO. gave me nothing total poker face just acted normal. like ok fine we'll just ignore that weird ass message you STILL haven't explained. sure. and he AND the first friend both did that ohhhh it's so crazy you came I can't believe it it's a miracle joke. like ok it's not a big deal but it's giving dad voice look who just decided to grace us with their presence... and then text message guy left right after the lecture to comfort his fwb-turned-friend who he almost got pregnant because he's an idiot. sorry that's not relevant I'm pissed at him rn like omggg just come up with an explanation i don't even care if it fake as fuck just don't act like the LAST thing you said to me for three weeks was the most cryptic shit ever. also I meant to post ages ago that sometimes he's nice and sometimes he gives the most awful vibes like I do not like the way he treats the women he dates/hooks up with at all. anyway. third guy I realised we had the same fucking 6pm seminar so I had to hang out with him for two hours and it sucked I do not like him and he's trying sooooo hard to weasel into our little group. get out! seinfeld voice I already have three friends I can't make room for any more... he's just insufferably smug and pretentious and I don't know if he's private school but he feels like it. A/N: A fic?? From Ace?? Hi. I’m off spring break officially and so my stress has dissipated immensely. School was becoming so much these last two weeks and I thought I’d be stressed or worried, but I’m actually fine? It’s weird lol so I decided I could be productive with my stress-free moment and post a little fic for y’all. I love this prompt, and before any of you writers panic, I’m using my own fics for the fanfictions because I wouldn’t want to put y’all on the spot like that. Also this is my 3000 post! thought that was cool lol

“Do you wanna do the intro?”

“I think I have to do the intro.”

“Okay, go for it.”

“Alright,” Owen sighs out a heavy breath in exaggerated preparation for my (some would say lengthy) intro. “Hello, hi. Yes, okay, this is Y/n Y/l/n vlogs, welcome or welcome back to my channel!” Once Owen finishes his statement I’m so stunned I can’t generate any sort of response other than a slacked jaw semi smile.

“That was not even close. Do you know my intro?”

“I got the first part right!”

“You’ve lost intro privileges,” I turn back to the mess of lights and tripods in front of me and ignore the disaster of an intro Owen offered. “Oh, hello, hi! I am Y/n and this is: Reading My Boyfriend’s Fanfiction!”

“That’s basically what I did.”

“No, it is not! It’s ‘oh, hello, hi. I am ‘name’ and this is: ‘title of video’.”

“You don’t ‘welcome to my channel’?” Owen’s voice has dropped to a hushed volume as he genuinely inquires about the segments of my usual introduction.

“I do not.”

“Don’t use any of this,” he pleads when making direct eye contact with the camera. “Mister Sid. Editing Sid, please don’t embarrass me.” His pleas fall on deaf ears, knowing that I’ll be using the footage in full.

“Anyways. Butchered intro aside, I am Y/n and today I am here with my lovely “So Many Stars” costar and scene partner, Owen Joyner!”

“I’m also your boyfriend.”

“That too,” I give Owen’s pointed comment a soft place to land, “So, yesterday--it was actually like, two weeks ago, I don’t know why I said yesterday--a little while back, I came across a tweet telling me someone had written a fanfic about us-”

“Did you read it?”

“On Wattpad. Of course, I read it. There are only three chapters up right now and they’re all in the 2-3k range so it was a quick read.”

“2-3k?”

“Words,” I reply nonchalantly as I unlock my phone. I bookmarked a few one-shots beforehand for us to read, and I’m slightly cocky about my selections. Owen then responds with an outburst of shock.

“2-3 thousand words is a short read?” I merely give him a blank stare.

“Judging by that reaction, Owen hasn’t read any fanfics in his life.”

“Is that not long to you- That’s what she said.” Owen cuts me off with his own stupid joke and I briefly sigh before answering.

“No, that isn’t long. Baby, I’m here for that 130k slow burn enemies to lovers on AO3 with the ‘only one bed’ and ‘locked in a closet’ tropes.”

“The what?”

“Oh, we have so much to catch you up on.”

“So I saved three fics, an angst, a fluff, and a smut. Which do you want to read?”

“Wait, what does that mean?”

“Oh my- okay. Angst is the sad shit, it’s what you read when you need your heartbroken and a good cry. Smut is pretty much in the name, it’s explicit content that will undoubtedly get this video demonetized, but that’s okay because we do have a sponsor. And fluff is the cute moments, domestic and sometimes mundane romance that makes you smile like an idiot and put the device down to screech into a pillow.” Throughout my whole explanation, I can tell Owen was becoming more and more lost, so I opt to give him a few moments to collect his thoughts.

“Let’s start with the fluff just to ease into things.”

“Smart choice. This fic I have saved is called ‘Baby Fever’ and the summary says ‘you and Owen spend a day at the zoo babysitting Baby Shada, and her presence sparks conversation about adding a new presence of your very own’.”

“That sounds so ominous.”

“Here, I’ll read the narration and reader’s POV, and then you’ll read your own dialogue.” Owen nods and leans over my right shoulder to read off of my computer screen.

“You actually start the fic.”

“‘You ready, little one?’” The instantaneous actor mode Owen slips into has me howling with laughter at which he looks at me confused. My gasping for air makes Owen laugh empathetically despite still being unsure as to what’s killing me at the moment.

“Why are you laughing?!” He yells, dramatically shaking my shoulder.

“Just the way you jumped into that, I wasn’t prepared for you to turn on the acting charm. Okay, uhhhh, ‘I bite back a laugh when I hear Owen’s voice coo from the back seat’.”

The two of us go back and forth between reading the narrative, bouts of laughter, commentary on the accuracy of Owen’s character, and we finally manage to finish the 2.5k fic in about forty minutes.

“‘When he looks up from CJ’s tiny body and recognizes the familiar ‘baby fever’ look in my eyes, he smiles and utters a simple-’.”

“‘I told you so.’”

“That was cute! I like the tie-in of having us watching over Baby Shada- or, sorry, you and ‘y/n’ watching over Baby Shada.”

“They wrote me kinda funny, I don’t think I’d ever fabricate a life to make conversation with a stranger due to baby fever.” My jaw drops slightly and before Owen can respond to my reaction, I cry,

“That is such a lie!”

“What?”

“You absolutely would do something like that, are you kidding me?!”

“No, I would not!” Owen punctuates every word with the utmost offense. He has the same look in his eye as when he was proving himself to be the cleanest phantom of the three on the Sunset Drive podcast.

“You literally told the guy at Home Depot yesterday that we were buying plants for our child’s nursery!”

“Okay, that’s different-”

“How is that different? That’s the exact same thing as fanfic you!” Owen’s furrowed brow and dropped jaw are a sight to be seen as he leans away from me, bending at the waist to stare at me with defiance. I raise my eyebrows pointedly as I await a response. Instead of actually producing a response, Owen lunges forward, grabbing my waist in his hands and squeezing gently. The feeling makes me screech and gasp of laughter from surprise and also being ticklish.

“Owen! Owe-STOP, I’m gonna drop my laptop!” I manage to say through my laughter and with one final grab, he releases me from his hold. It takes a minute for my laughter to settle but once I do, the two of us are simply breathing heavy and staring at one another with giddy smiles on our faces. In a moment’s clarity, I turn to look into the camera lens to talk directly to my editor,

“Sid, don’t use any of this. And please don’t cut to this after we finish reading to make it look like- things were happening.”

“Actually, I think you should, Sid. Just cut to right there and make the world think we-”

“OKAY, thanks for watching, bye!” I quickly stop the recording before Owen says something we’re unable to recover from. I hear him laugh gently behind me as I set my laptop down on the coffee table behind the tripod. Coming back to the couch, I move to plop down but before landing successfully on the cushion next to my phone, Owen grabs my body and moves me to sit on top of him.

“You are crazy, you know that?”

“Hmm. Crazy for you, maybe.” His cheesy line makes me scoff but smile nonetheless. I reach my right hand up to caress the side of his face as we sit cheek to cheek.

“Remind me to never film with you again.” The gesture is sweet and the sentiment is not which makes Owen laugh and he presses a soft kiss to my cheek. I lean back into him so my back is pressed flush with his chest as he lazily wraps both arms around me.

“You say that now but you’ll regret it when you wanna do a ‘boyfriend does my makeup’ challenge video.”

“Nah. I’ll just call Charlie to-” Without allowing me to finish my sentence, Owen is digging his fingertips back into the tissue of my sides and I squeal with laughter once more. This time the torment is short-lived and Owen releases me after a sweet, reconciling kiss. “Do you have baby fever now?”

“It was cute and all, but not really, no.”

“That’s too bad,” I stand up from my spot on his lap to grab my computer and hold it to my chest, “I was gonna say we could practice some baby-making.”

And with that, I turned on the balls of my feet, heading for my bedroom when I heard Owen stand up eagerly, quick to follow.

Shall we Date? Wizardess Heart Part 22 - Hiro Tachibana Route

So cute that Hiro is mad at Zeus for eating his muffin that he’s been saving since yesterday hahaha. At least the heroine said she’d bake him some! And it’s so sweet that he really likes her baked goods! I wonder why Hiro is so against becoming a Prefect? Although I also think it’s a pain lmao, but it doesn’t seem like he’s against it because of reasons such as no interest in teaching students and research etc. Ohh I never realised that Hiro can’t use magic! Now that I think about it, we really haven’t seen him use magic, he always uses his dimension cutting sword! Hmm so the sword might be the reason why he can’t use magic anymore…But he’s capable enough that even though he can’t use magic, the academy still allows him to be here. It’s nice to see that Hiro has a soft spot for the heroine though, he’s really gentle and kind to her, but I guess it’s also because she’s really sweet and considerate for little things such as waiting for him to wake up and encouraging him to take the Prefect trial since he’s definitely capable even if he doesn’t use magic.

Trust Zeus to summon stuff again because of a silly argument and have others help him get rid of it lol, I guess that’s another reason why Hiro is always with him lolol. It’s so cute how much everyone wants Hiro to become a Prefect and be truly one of them~ even more cute when Hiro insisted on sharing his muffin with the heroine because he wants to eat together haha. The heroine being Hiro’s judge for his trial is fitting and very cute haha. Caesar turning into a pig and balancing on a ball trying to make Hiro laugh sounds like the cutest thing ever hahahaha! Lmaoo when they started throwing Caesar around to each other and Caesar decided to land splat on Zeus’ face hahaha. Seeing Hiro laugh so wholeheartedly was rather cute. It’s so funny how Hiro’s reason for not telling them how he got the sword that sealed his magic was because he felt it was silly to tell them that he was taking a nap and when he woke up irritated and grabbed whatever was calling his name, it ended up being that sword and that’s all that happened lol.

So cuteeee when she baked him muffins again and he said if they got married then he’d be able to eat them everyday🥰🥰🥰 It’s kinda funny how the trial is to test Hiro and the heroine is watching over him and evaluating him and yet she’s the one that gets saved by him during the trial lol. Lmao when they were discussing where and why Caesar might have disappeared and they were talking about how the last time they saw him was when Caesar and Hiro were fighting over muffins, and Zeus said Caesar probably ran away because he didn’t get muffins LOL. I’m glad the heroine told Hiro off when he embarrassed that girl that confessed to him in front of everyone by showing how fickle she was for confessing to Hiro and then Caesar and then hiding it. He’s not wrong since she did give him a love letter etc so he just stated the facts, but yeah it was really slack to say he could care less about her. Lol at Hiro not being able to take the heroine finishing the sentence when she said she’d say the same thing to him so he would know how bad it feels. Awww omggg, poor Caesar turned into a pig because that girl that got rejected kissed him and he became a pig, and then he got captured and tied up by these guys! Poor thing!!

Oh man, the heroine and Hiro are so cute, I’m going to die from the fluffiness between them. He’s so sweet when it comes to her and he really does well in comforting her. And omggg when he said his favourite food is her muffins!!!🥰🥰🥰 And now they’re going grocery shopping together!! C'mon heroine, maybe it’s not the date you want, but grocery shopping is like the most comfortable and fun thing to do with someone you like! It shows how much they’re allowing you into their everyday life! I love how they’re bonding by asking each other the same simple questions like their favourite food, hangout spot etc. It’s simple but it really gives insight on the type of person that they are. It’s so cute that he ended up asking if she wanted a boyfriend, what type of guy she likes and where she would like to go on a date hahaha, I am looking forward to him doing something with this information in the future!😆

Omggg when he grabbed her along to go to his favourite place in the middle of the night and just randomly told her that he quite likes her and asks if she does too! Omggg when he just kissed her like that! He’s lucky she actually likes him lol! But she was so silly, she didn’t even reply him because she was so surprised lol! I see… she’s not sure if she likes him… Lucious is so cute!! Him hiding in the bushes when Zeus and her appeared in the labyrinth was so funny, it’s true that Zeus always summons random scary monsters so it’s logical to hide hahaha. Awww she’s consulting Lucious on what to do, they’re such cute buddies lol! That music box Lucious gave her is pretty cute! The boy touches the boy on it and the girl touches the girl on it, and if their feelings are mutual, music will start playing and the dolls will start dancing together~ oh, it didn’t work? Is it broken?😅 I knew the fierga that feeds on people’s fears would overwhelm Hiro but I didn’t expect Zeus to protect them and get injured and cursed😣

I’m so glad the heroine shouted at Hiro to make him come to his senses and take care of himself to save Zeus instead of wallowing away in guilt and regret. I knew Zeus was important to Hiro, but I never realised how deep their relationship went. They’ve been together since they were born! Hiro’s father is Zeus’ father’s vassal and so Hiro’s duty was always to protect Zeus. Not that he really thinks of it as a duty since he willingly does it, and since they treat each other as indispensable friends, it can’t be helped that Hiro would break down at the thought of Zeus never waking up. Does that mean the music box only works when you realise your feelings? Since the heroine seemed to start recognising that she really wants to protect Hiro and be beside him, and even protect Zeus with him. Although I do feel quite sceptical towards the heroine for having to rely on a music box to understand her own feelings, but I guess it’s better than her constantly going on about whether she likes him or not haha. It was so cute when he said that he wouldn’t mind holding her hand forever🥰 Awww it was so cute when they went to get that plant needed to wake Zeus up in the labyrinth and they saw Lucious there waiting for Zeus because he hadn’t appeared in a long time! He’s so adorable!! I loved seeing how concerned Lucious was over Zeus’ condition, I guess that’s why Zeus wanted to save him from the labyrinth so much in his route, they’re really great friends even if they’re not honest with each other all the time haha.

Omgg when the heroine apologised for using the music box to assess how they really felt for each other and Hiro said she didn’t need to do that because she should talk to him about it and he’d help her realise how much she loves him as many times as she wants LOL. So brave and sweet~ Kinda scary when they got that plant, does it seem like the fierga took over Hiro or something? Anyway, lmao when Zeus woke up finding out that he missed out on them hooking up so now he wants them to redo it since he really wanted to be there to witness it hahahaha, he’s so funny and cute. LOL when Zeus chased after them saying he wanted to at least see them kiss hahahaha, he’s so silly. Omggg when Hiro kissed her in front of Zeus and Lucious lol! And awww Lucious was so cute when he had tears in his eyes seeing Zeus alive and well! 🥰 It’s so adorable how Lucious is like the heroine’s love advisor, it’s such a sweet and cute relationship!

I didn’t think BBW just stood for big bad wolf hahaha, but anyway, so basically Hiro’s sword has the soul of this BBW which was a knight from the kingdom of daylight that was so absorbed into this sword he had that his soul literally got absorbed into it? And so BBW is the one trying to control and take over Hiro so he can use him and then attack Zeus and get his body as a vessel since Zeus apparently has a lot of magical power that he usually hides? Tbh though, with the way Zeus acts and how much he trusts and believes that Hiro would be able to come to his senses on his own, I honestly feel like Zeus and Hiro know, love and care for each other even more than the heroine does, but I guess they’ve been together since they were children so that’s natural haha. It was pretty cool when they fought against the controlled Hiro and Hiro was kinda able to stop himself and eventually use magic again to defeat the sword once he got to let go of it. Most touching thing was Zeus reprimanding Hiro for taking the burden of this all by himself and not talking to him about it, and then telling him straight out that they’re equals and not something like just a bodyguard🥺🥺 It was so sweet, I’m starting to think it was sweeter than the confession lol! They’re such great friends🥺 So glad that they’ve recognised Hiro’s efforts and promoted him to Prefect! Lmao at Zeus now realising that he can’t push his work to Hiro to do anymore hahaha. And as usual, Alfonse goes into drunk mode causing trouble lol. Not surprised that Hiro got popular after becoming Prefect, but it doesn’t even matter because he’d just hold the heroine’s hand like it’s the most natural thing in the world anyway🥰🥰

Overall, I really liked Hiro’s story! Definitely my favourite of this arc! Next is probably Zeus and then Klaus. I think the relationship between her and Hiro was the cutest and very natural! They started off as nice friends doing things for each other because they cared for each other, and although Hiro noticed his feelings first, they were both still unsure whether these feelings were just affection or really what could be termed as love. So it kinda took some time to figure out and develop their relationship properly and I really enjoyed seeing them both try and figure out their feelings and acting on it. Lucious as the love advisor buddy for the heroine, and Zeus as the best bro for Hiro was also a really wonderful addition, I loved how they both supported the both of them and I really enjoyed their relationship with the heroine and Hiro too. In terms of plot, it was rather weak since it only really moved in the last parts in terms of the “villain” but I think it linked with the story nicely since it revolved around having Hiro grow as a person and overcome his fears and learning to rely on these people he can now truly call his friends. Hiro is such a sweet, honest and great guy, I loved him!

I realised that today (nov 9th) is 100 days as Taemin fan (as I told u before) and he did comeback today with Never Dance Again act2 and wow that’s so special

I’m hoping to visit Croatia at the end of august, if everything goes according to plan/covid doesn’t once again wreck my plans. I grew up in the northwestern US, and there people joke that the seasons are “fire season, road construction, winter” and winters are regularly so much snow, windy, and -20°, so not ideal conditions for enjoying them. Have you been to Grand Canyon or any of the other national parks in the southwest? They all look so beautiful, that’s one part of the US I would definitely like to see more of.

Probably not my all time favorite, but my best friend loves him so I’ve read a lot of his stuff and talk about it a lot. Also a big fan of Byron and I have a love/hate relationship with Shakespeare. Hello, Drew! Chaos feels like the natural order of the world lately. It’s fine if you miss a day or two! I understand.

I actually never really wanted to be married myself. I figured if I did, I’d be at least 30. I wanted to get school done first. Then, after my previous relationship, I decided I wanted to be alone. Fate had different plans. I also wasn’t sure I wanted kids. Changed my mind. However one is plenty. One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone invalidates a person’s choices by saying “oh you’ll change your mind”. So even though I changed mine, I won’t be implying or outright denying that you don’t know your own mind.

My wedding was small. We eloped. It was a complicated situation with his family at the time, and we had decided to have the protection of a legal document since we were living together anyway. We picked randomly picked the day. Turned out to be Valentine’s Day. So, I, along with millions of other people, got married at a court house. In fact, someone was wearing my same dress that day! It was awkward. We have yet to have any celebration outside of that day. It was just my immediate family. However, I’ve never regretted marrying him and I still look back fondly on it. Fun fact: his parents found out we were married after we totaled their truck a few months later. Not so fun fact: that was the scariest accident I’ve been in to date. Accident wasn’t our fault and at least in this accident I had airbags. Ever been in an accident? Or in one without modern crash technology? It’s not very fun. Hurts a lot. I remember having to tell my father in law, on the side of the road, that Chase and I had actually gotten married. He was stunned but super supportive. Like I previously said, it was complicated . And I can get into it more, but there’s so much else to address right now!

We really like sitting in silence on our phones together! 😂 We are one of those annoying couples who like to do everything together. We are practically attached at the hip and the pandemic has only made it worse. He’s really interested in getting into D&D. We like playing video games together. We both love swimming. We both really want to travel. I’d love to take him to Europe. We like movies. But we both compliment our different likes and knowledge. He loves animated movies and animes and I love books. We both love art. He’s so good. He lets me do his makeup and nails from time to time. It doesn’t bother him at all. But not only that he’s really helpful at making sure I get my medicines and that I get rest when I need it. Throughout the lockdown he’d do all the running around so I wouldn’t have to go out since I’m immuno compromised. Sometimes I feel like he’s too good to me and the kid. I try to give back what I can. But honestly, he’s my best friend too.

Ahem. Enough gushing.

Other than some musicals and local symphonies, I’ve never been to any other concerts! Weird. I know! I’ve wanted to but never have. I’ve always wanted to see Imagine Dragons. Or Panic! at the Disco. There’s a few artists actually, I’d love to go see.

Croatia is BEAUTIFUL. My time in Europe was 2 weeks during July. I’m in love with it. If you go, Rijeka is wonderful. But near Rijeka is a mountain town called Fužine. It’s MAGICAL. I spent most of my time there. One of the upsides to staying in Rijeka is that it’s just a few hours away from Venice, too. Which. Was also breathtaking. I cried at the beauty of it. I have pictures of these places and I love looking at them. But they also make me a little sad. For multiple reasons. We had a layover in Munich on our way home and so we spent two days there as well. We drove up to the Neuschwanstein castle. It was amazing. But the most harrowing part of that stop was at the site of Dachau. I will never forget the heaviness of it. I had to stop halfway through. It was too much for my sensitivity. A privilege I will never forget.

I was able to visit Idaho (Rexburg) during October and December one year and I loved it. I’ve only ever been to Washington (coastal) and Oregon during the summer months. I wanted to go to school in Washington, originally. Thought I��d move up there. Now the goal is to ultimately expat. Canada, likely. We will see if that ever pans out, though.

I’ve been to the Grand Canyon once when I was 10 or 11(?). We went during December to ride the “Polar Express”. It’s a special event they run during the winter months before Christmas. We were snowed in so we stayed an extra day and took the train to the Grand Canyon. So I got to see it all snowy and clear. It’s gorgeous and I highly recommend it once. I don’t know if I would ever really go back but I might take the kid someday. I at least want her to go on the Polar Express ride. It’s cute and fun for the kids. I was a little too old to fully enjoy it, but my little sister was roughly the right age.

I’ve been to several places in Arizona. The missions, Jerome, and I’ve also been to some places in Colorado and New Mexico. I can’t recall all their names off the top of my head and it was a long time ago.

I greatly appreciate anyone who can write poetry. It is not my forte. They come out childish and awkward. So, I keep those to myself. I write anything and everything. I have several stories, but three top priority right now. One is complete but needs serious reworking and revision. I started it when I was 15. It’s a paranormal mystery with romance. The second one is a fantasy that I started with a friend when I was 14/15. It has its own world and has taken on a life of its own since then. It’s massive. And the third one is a coming of age story. It’s my most delicate one. I started it when I was 21. I have shared an excerpt on tumblr of this one. It’s my most complicated one yet. Like any artist, I’m constantly second guessing my work and lamenting my talent.

This weekend has been mostly spent recharging. I’ve been helping my mom with a project. And of course swimming. I’m a child at heart and I bought myself a mermaid tail. I’ve elevated my pool game. It’s so much fun but my body is yelling at me. I’m not as energetic as I was in my youth. You mentioned marching band? You and I really do have much in common! Not only are you a flautist, but a marching one at that?! I marched in high for two years. I loved it but I started to get burned out. And then I started horseback riding and planned to do that instead. My parents couldn’t afford to do both. And then I caught mono. Looking back, I understand why my mono knocked me out for so long (it’s linked to my autoimmune issues) but at the time every one of my friends thought I was being dramatic. It was kind of a horrible experience. So even if I had signed up for band my junior year, I would’ve had to quit. And then my senior year I signed up for this program that put me through a college program to get my EMT-B. I didn’t take band at all that year. Now I just play for myself. Ideally I’d learn every instrument.

I actually couldn’t sing very well for the longest time. Which was ironic because my mom was operatically trained. My older sister was also trained. And my little sister preferred chorus to band. I ended up teaching myself later. So now I don’t sound terrible but I’m not going to take my solo act on the road anytime soon.

If I can teach myself makeup, art, instruments, and other various things, then maybe I can also someday be brave enough to put myself out there on the internet. And if I do, I will definitely let you know! I will at least have 3 subscribers. 😂

march: week 5

27: i did not get enough sleep. i took my time getting ready in the morning because i had a legit reason for not being in the office on time. i woke up with a headache so i took some advil. after eating breakfast, i hopped on the train and got to work at like 9:30 am or something, which isn’t that bad. i found out that cole forgot his laptop so he had to go back home to work (LOL but qq). i got real hungry at 11 am for some reason so i took an early lunch at 12 pm. i was pretty productive and got my 5 videos edited. then i worked some more and listened in on an extended stand up. after that, i finished editing and uploaded some of them before leaving the office early. i was awake but my body was tired. i met with kevin at the train station (he got off early too). we got back and i finished up some work before taking a nap with kevin. we slept through our alarm LOL and kevin ended up waking me up 10 minutes before the painting session.

we headed over and were surprised that they were giving us pizza, wine, beer, and chicken wings <3 i ate two slices of pizza because i wasn’t gonna be sitting there painting while my tummy rumbled. we got to meet more of the residents at deco and it was nice. i painted a night version of the painting and kevin followed the instructions for a sunset landscape. one of the instructors, josh, worked on the animations and design for bioshock! what?! i’ve basically met a celebrity imo LOL. i didn’t play bioshock but i’ve seen the artwork and everything. we finished painting at like 9:30 pm and it was a successful “date night.” kevin’s painting skills have gotten a lot better! hhe. i made the mushroom rice and washed dishes. then i exercised while kevin cooked the rest of our lunch. then i showered and got in bed and played bravely default. omggg, i stayed up until 2:30 am playing x__X this is bad but the game is so addicting! i went to sleep around that time or something :P

28: mmmm i got to work a bit late again but no one was in the office. lol my entire team was wfh and only a few devs and the marketing team were here. i was pretty productive and then i got distracted and felt tired so i took a break from work to write in my tumblr... i just worked on editing and uploading videos today. it took my entire day. who knew that 5 videos under 6 minutes could take that long to edit. anyway, cole and stephen surprised us by coming in. :O they came from their client site and joined us for the free pizza provided by our forrester contact who was presenting for all-hands today. i ate pizza yesterday so i was like yolo, i’m gonna eat this. the pizza was way different from papa john’s. the crust was harder. i gave stephen and cole some of the candy gum i got from the grocery store and then we listened to the presentation. i got cole to sit in his old seat next to me today ahhaha. he did have to go in the office to talk to stephen a lot so i guess this new arrangement is good for them :P

i stayed longer than i expected but i did leave at around 4:30 pm. it was raining x__x i got back, took out the beef to defrost, and then tried out my new arctis 7 headset! :)))) the sound is alright but the mic is pretty good! i put it away, snacked a bit, and then did abs and cardio. kevin came back and turned on the wireless function for me. i think i’m gonna keep them. i prepped some veggies for dinner while kevin showered then i showered and we had leftovers and watched ‘how to get away with murder.’ then kevin started watching a dota game and i played with my headset. ;D i jammed out while he cooked and watched his game. then i played bravely default until 1 am or so. i was so tired by then. i brushed my teeth and went to sleep before 2 am.

29: it was nice to get 7 hours of sleep today...LOL. when i got up, i was productive because i needed to help sultan figure out this whole video organization thing. i needed to make things easier for him to update the videos. after that, i got to recording. these arctis 7 pick up my voice a lot easier so i need to be careful. i could hear myself breathing and stuff. .__. i had a client meeting today and i did a live tutorial for them (: yay! being active and actually talking in a call makes all the difference. i finished recording and then put away dishes and washed dishes. then kevin came home and gamed so i watched ‘jane the virgin.’ then we ate dinner and watched an episode of ‘how to get away with murder’ before kevin went back to gaming and i did new cardio excercises :) i did one with weights and i died. then we watched another episode, i took a nice long shower, and kevin did some work. i found out that my swollen “ring” toe might be hammer toe? mmmm. it’s probably caused by me working out without gym shoes because i do it at home... kevin and i tried taping it but failed. i finished watching ‘jane the virgin’ and then played a bit of ‘bravely default’ and went to sleep pretty early.

30: i felt sleepy even though i got more sleep? hmmm. the train was delayed so i got to work at 9:30 am even though i got on at like 8:40 am. cole got me a doughnut and i was confused because i thought he was just getting the office doughnuts? steve brought in mini cadbury eggs so it’s all coool. :P i got the gluten free chocolate doughnut and it was pretty good. mmm work went by fast. i had a good amount to do and then i was told to do some testing -- it was fun! cole and i figured out the chat and game audio problem. i was hearing a tinny sound on my game audio for some reason but then switching it to connect to my laptop rather than my monitor worked. :) i can now listen to music and be on calls and etc. so cool! anyway, i was pretty tired after work zzzz. i think the headset problem drained me haha. i ended the day with a call that ended at 5 pm and then took the train home -- it was emptier than usual. i was really tired so i was playing around with the idea of taking nap but, i just did 60 minutes of kickboxing instead. then i washed the dishes, made rice, and hit the shower. i started editing my 2min showcase video (i’m so latee but i’ve been busy) and then kevin came back, showered, and we ate dinner while watching tv. then i ko’d and woke up, washed the rest of the dishes, packed kevin’s lunch, brushed my teeth, and hit the hay. i woke up from my nap with soreness all around my core. i am ded. LOL. kevin and i went to sleep before 2 am. zzz. this week has been super tiring for both of us.

31: i got a lot of sleep, which was nice. i cleaned the dishwasher and washed the sheets all while working. we got pulled into a pretty intense meeting before stand up that continued on stand up. then i continued recording and the day ended with another intense stand up but then i was done for the day! kevin got back from work and we ate while watching some tv. then we went straight into cleaning the apartment for ryan and nluu’s stay here. then i did a bit of exercise but i was so physically worn out that i could only do 30 minutes of hip hop cardio and then i laid on the floor watching a vlog LOL. my body was just so sore all over. kevin was a bit worried about me but he had a lot of work to get done. so then i got up, showered, we made the bed, and i ko’d at like 12 am. i really do need some rest days but i feel bad for not moving and exercising every day. it seems like a waste. kevin ended up staying up until 3 am working on his project with old lab peeps.

apr01: we were going to arrive in yale late because of the weather and we needed more sleep. kevin also had to update his team on his progress from last night. we got gas and then kevin drove around 2 hours to get to yale. when we got there, vivian dropped us off at junzi and i had another delicious bowl <3 kevin got the chun bing so i tried it and i think that the noodle bowl is still better. then saad, jennie, nluu, kevin, and i got into the car and drove to the biggest bowling alley i’ve ever been to. the glow in the dark bowling thing is not my favorite though. i granny-rolled the whole 2 hours. nluu is a beast at bowling x__x kevin and nluu won the first round, then everyone else tied for the second round. it was fun! we ordered pizza and headed back to jennie’s place. vivian and saad went to pick up the pizza and get bubble tea. so we just chilled and when they came back, they played two rounds of avalon. i played bravely default while this was all happening haha. the mashed potato pizza and clam pizza were alright. saad apparently loves clam pizza. then we brought out the cake for nluu and sang happy birthday to him :P

we played fish bowl to wrap up the night and we left after the first round because it was nearing 11 pm and we wanted to get back to boston at a reasonable time. ryan took the train to new haven and met up with us. during the car ride back, we just talked about pokemon, our jobs, our lives, etc. it was nice. nluu ko’d at some point. we all lazed around until 4 am...LOL ryan and nluu were playing the guitar and ukulele, kevin was watching a dota game, and i stayed up playing bravely default. so much for fixing my diet and sleeping schedule x__x

apr 02: mmmm everyone got up around 11 am or 12 pm. i played bravely default while the guys played a steam game, played on the guitar and ukulele, and made congee. this game is so interesting now! we bummed until around 3 pm and then everyone went grocery shopping. kevin was a bit scatterbrained because he was worrying about climbing and dinner and etc. x__x; the shopping trip took longer than expected and everyone got hungry. so we got back and toasted some hawaiian bread rolls. then the guys left to climb. we stopped by oh my tea and experienced the worst customer service ever: they ran out of boba (wtf) and the new hire like rq’d on us while taking our order. whut. my opinion of this boba place has now dipped drastically. kevin got the green apple green tea and ryan got the red bean milk tea without boba. ryan’s drink was really good :O

i played more bravely default while doing laundry and then i did obliques and cardio. then i showered and folded the laundry. the guys came back with wingsover and fat cat. ryan and i got the lobster and crab wrap, which wasn’t that great. so i ate the wings and a good amount of fries. mmm. we watched ‘the voice’ videos and hot sauce videos basically. then nluu, ryan, and i just talked about random things and we played a spontaneous writing game. someone would read a line from a cookbook and then we raced to finish writing first while trying to write legibly. one person would be in the other room and not listening to what the sentence is and then come out to judge, ahah. i beat ryan and ryan beat kevin. the guys took turns showering/using the bathroom and then they went to play pool and chill in the lounge. it was pretty late by then so i played a bit of bravely default and then ko’d at like 2 am. i knew i was going to be sooper tired tomorrow.
