I need to tell someone about the new OCS that I'm gestating right now or I WILL be physically ill...
#personal#manny and phil... phil and manny... ive been desperately trying to come up with a surname for manny and its not going well#i almost accidentally named her a name that was one letter away from a former politician.#im going to scream and drop dead#manaia... babe...#for Phil's first name#Phil's surname was the second thing i finalised about the whole stuoif concept after i was suddenly struck with the idea for the story#and i just picked something that was long and stupid that ended up working out and being on theme#and i had the name manaia bouncing in my head and the meaning luckily ended up being very one theme#but like. babygirl. i am gonna drop dead#a given name i can just make up something stupid to make it fit but not a surname!!! not a freaking surname!!!#i need something horse and spirit and possibly psychopomp themed that starts with the letter M. or at least relating to like. death.#and i need the to have immediate and semantic associations with all this stuff thats like. self evident#im 2 seconds away from making manaia her surname and finding something on thene but stuoid sounding for her first bame#but like. im already attached to Mephistopheles and Manaia and their blokesonas Phil and Manny#i dont know enough te reo and the googling is. and if i give her a surname w a pakeha origin those dont usually have obvious meanings#and i end up having to google etymologies#SCREAM.#it is 7am i have not been to sleep yet
