What is everyone's greatest fear in the Fazbear Frights House Au?

I'll try and explain what they fear:

Oswald [Note: Oswald doesn’t live in the house but I wanted to talk about him]: Oswald is scared of loosing his dad, he didn’t have much of a relationship with him but after the events of Into the Pit, he realised he would be devastated if he lost his father suddenly when he is still so young, worse yet, he is just so easily “replaced”.

Sarah: Trusting people, Eleanor taught a lesson of being careful who you trust and let into your life. Sarah is worried she will trust the wrong person again if she isn’t careful.

Millie: Dying before her time, Millie hasn’t even graduated or gotten a job yet, she wants to experience life, Funtime Freddy to her is the symbol of the Grim Reaper as he stalks her, like a ticking clock, Millie fears the time in her life will end abruptly with no second chance.

Greg: Making mistakes, Greg came from a home where making mistakes resulted in a physical punishment. Greg would rather not do anything if he thinks he'll make a mistake, this behaviour got +1000 worse after the events of Fetch because his own father took what happened as a reason to start attacking him more, especially unprovoked.

Alec: The dark, Alec only fears it because he doesn’t know what uses the dark as cover to sneak and creep around, there have been times when he has been too distressed to sleep as a result.

Hazel: Losing her brother, Hazel feels guilt around “loosing” him once before and only realising months later that it was an imposter the whole time and Alec was taken in by Lefty in the meantime.

Oscar: Oscar isn’t exactly scared of the dark, but if he hears a noise when it's completely dark, he'll be on edge and might turn on his flashlight to make sure it's not something bad.

Delilah: Being stuck in the same lifestyle forever, Delilah really wants to have a family, she knows she needs to get her shit together but she's scared that it might take too long, so she would rather prioritise trying to get a “life” without addressing her mental health. Lefty told her that mindset is a good way to end up in a toxic relationship.

Stanley: Sleeping in a room that doesn’t have a lock. Stanley can’t sleep if the room isn’t completely locked up.

Devon: Abandonment, Devon doesn’t talk much about it, but he's scared Lefty will eventually get so frustrated by him and just abandons him without saying anything, essentially “throwing [him] away” (I would like to explain this in a story at some point because it's quite complex).

Pete: Total paralysis, Pete has had some episodes of sleep paralysis during which he feels helpless, he has visions about having his other eye ripped out by Foxy while being unable to move or scream for help. Not being to move or talk terrifies Pete beyond anything else.

Chuck: Running out of air, Chuck has asthma and he has had some close calls before. Chuck hates the feeling of loosing his air and being unable to take in any breath to save himself.

Kasey [doesn’t live in the house also but she is present at some points]: Being alone with men she doesn’t trust, she has had some bad experiences and doesn’t like reliving them at all.

Bob: Being so unaware that something happens to his family, it ties into how he sometimes wakes up at 2 AM to make sure all the doors and windows are closed, he doesn’t want to sleep knowing a door may be unlocked.

Matt: Ah yes jerk supreme, what does he fear? Getting sick, he doesn’t like how his body might betray him, he will deny that he's sick, until he passes out in front of people.

Arthur: Being taken advantage of, Arthur likes to believe the best in everyone, of course it kind of changes when Arthur is attacked one day by a street thug and nearly beaten to death.

Lefty: Losing any of his kids, he has had a few nightmares about losing them and gets extremely upset (he tries not to display that he's upset as to try and avoid making the kids worried).

Fetch: Losing Greg, which is why he purposely led Greg to Lefty so he would help Greg. He also hates being ignored/neglected/forgotten and gets worried about it potentially happening.

Ralpho: He will act like he's not scared of anything, but he's scared of the vacuum cleaner.

Spring JR: The scary “purple rabbit”.

Alrighty I got my thoughts together. Let’s do the rewrites:

Bunny call:

This one pretty much follows the story, but again context change and also I’m adding to it. When reading it felt like the horror bit was too short, I mean one hour with Ralpho doesn’t have the same terror as a whole week with the demon filled bunny you know what I mean? So what I’m thinking is that first morning was only the beginning. Ralpho is a stubborn and petty bitch and not getting what he wants means he’s gonna deliberately attack bob and his family now. So he lured them into a more abandoned part of the forest and unleashes the demons. But let me explain what Ralpho is in this au first: Ralpho is a tiny bunny cryotid, spawned from parents who either hate their kids/ hate being parents/ are just generaly unhappy with their lot in life. He couldn’t terrorize people much since he is a small bunny but a bunch of demons were like “hey, you like causing problems on purpose? So do we, we should team up” and Ralpho was like “hell yeah!” And the demoms essentially wear him like a fur suit and that’s how he’s bigger. This bunny is full of demons. Gross. Anyway back to the story: malhare babysits for Makenzies and really adores those kids. So the week before they left when he got a really bad feeling he secretly tapped their phones so he could listen I’m just in case something Went wrong. Lo and behold something did and he overheard the hour with Ralpho. Since he’s been working with the cryotid club for a while he recognizes the signs and is like “oh FUCK! MARIE I NEED TO BORROW WALKER THE KIDS ARE IN DANGER!” Amd bugs comes along too because he and mal are pals. Anyway mal arrives just as Ralpho pulls his shit and falls for backup and also Marion because ‘oh shit demoms!’ This whole thing kinda turns into a game of slender but survival where mal and the family try to avoid the demoms while the twisted keep the, busy and they wait for marion to arrive to perform the biggest exorcism in history or something. Long story short they do and he does mal probably does his best to explain everything and is worried he lost his job, but bob is a family man now and is like “dude you did all this to save us, I don’t think we pay you enough” and also since all the demons are gon Ralpho is small again. Marion hands him off to Eleanor since she’s the doll mom now. They’re roommates.

In the flesh:

Yeah uh as stated before this one is just a big old rewrite. No alien references here. So Matt is just an asshole. He still makes the game but it’s just a killer rabbit not springtrap. Anyway he just keeps getting mad after a string of bad dates and bad life choices and also the killer bunny program not doing what he wants and this leads to the final date where he disrespects women so hard that one dude calls him out. Matt is angry and tries to fight that guy in the parking lot but whoops you picked on the wrong guy buddy because that’s flaming springtrap aka jackotrap and he is gonna kick your entitled ass! Matt maybe has an oh shit moment and gets the snot beat out of him. Jack leaves and Matt goes back to the empty apartment, because I’m keeping his roommate leaving that was just good for him man, and has to do some serious soul searching because my god when your choices in life leave you alone and beat up by a flaming bunny you know you fucked up somewhere. Also I’m keeping Gene. Malhare needs more hacker friends.

The man in room 1280:

Imma be real I just want to keep father Arthur and Hercules hospital and the nurses. I like them. Though when thinking about what plot to follow... I figured Arthur becomes a contact for the cryotid club, so how about how that happened? Basically emma was heading to the hospital because of rumors of it being haunted. And she can see ghosts so yeah, she runs into Arthur and they end up walking together since they’re going to the same destination. They bond over stuff and Arthur is like a cool priest he doesn’t try to force religion on people and Emma is like ‘neat’ also maybe Marion is there but he’s hiding becsuee emma keeps too close to the priest he can’t let himself be seen since he’s an animatronic. Anywa turns out Arthur can sense spirits, Marion thinks this is because of his bike ruby being previously very haunted and the remnant that remained just stuck with Arthur. And demons tend to fuck off if people can see them and call them out. Well the weak ones do anyway. Uh as for what they are doing themselves, idk ghost kid can’t move on because his grandpa is at the hospital and that was like the one good person in his life and he refuses to leave unless grandpa goes with him. Maybe the nurses are convinced the gramps is evil because of the ghost near him and try to kill him but ghost hijunx ensue and the guy lives. The man himself is kinda dieing so emma talks to the ghost, along with Marion who’s revealed himself at this point. While Arthur gives the old man his last rights and all that. The two ghosts are able to move on and Emma gives the guy the number for the cryotid club because the club could use more adults and also people who can exorcise ghosts. Marion is a busy man he can’t always be called.

Alec is out late with friends on a weekend and he gets a text from Fetch to come home because Lefty is worried about him but won't text him himself because he doesn't want to come off as too controlling.

Tym 2 come hom

Alec didn’t initially understand the wording, he knew it was Fetch based on the strange texting language, he also didn’t understand why Fetch had texted him in particular, yes Fetch was synced to everyone's phone and would text them if necessary but he mainly communicated with Greg and Lefty.

His phone then received another message:

U need 2 come hom

Was Fetch asking him to come home?

He did see the time on his phone screen said 10:45 pm, he had been given permission by Lefty to go to the movies with some boys from school, the movie ended a while ago and Alec had decided to grab something to eat, he was just sitting inside the fast food place after eating just using the WiFi to watch videos on his phone.

Now Fetch was texting him.

Fetch had only texted him three times before, once because Fetch couldn’t get in touch with Greg, unaware Greg's phone battery died earlier.

Alec stood up, he had already decided it was time to go home but he decided to respond to Fetch first:

I'll be home in twenty minutes

Fetch responded:

Alec checked the time before he went inside the house, he knew Lefty wasn’t particularly about curfews but Lefty did say before for everyone, which included himself, Ralpho, Sarah, Millie, Pete, Oscar, Stanley, Matt and everyone else, that it was a good idea to not be out of the property after midnight. The reason being that there were threats Lefty hadn’t captured yet, like Funtime Freddy, Alec hadn’t seen him aside from pictures but Lefty warned him enough that Funtime Freddy could potentially be stalking Millie and might be coming to watch the house after midnight for an opportunity to grab someone.

Creatures like Plushtrap, Eleanor, and Foxy were also problematic, and the reasons why the doors were impossible to break complete with multiple locks that would give enough time for Lefty to get a spell ready to repel them.

Nothing bad had happened so far, Lefty did say he was certain Eleanor showed up a few nights ago because Fetch kept barking at the window and Lefty saw a tall figure running down the street, obviously spooked by Fetch barking.

Alec pushed the door open, then closed it behind him, he immediately saw in the living room, Lefty was sitting on the sofa, and Fetch was next to him, he appeared to be asleep.

Lefty looked over at him, “Oh you're home...”

“Yes, I live here.”

“I just didn’t know when you would be coming home, that's all,” Lefty answered.

“Fetch texted me to come home,” Alec told him.

“I didn’t notice that he did,” Lefty looked at the dog who was at his side, Fetch slowly opened one of his eyes and looked at Alec.

Alec's phone buzzed, he figured Fetch had chimed in with something and looked at what he said:

Alec nodded, Fetch then added on:

Alec interpreted that as Lefty wanting to let him have freedoms but not wanting him to get hurt by those freedoms.

He noticed from the very first time he met him that even with him unaware who he was, he saw Lefty was trying to protect Helpy from a potential threat. Then when Alec said who he was, Lefty was always looking out for him, at the time Alec was a two-foot Lonely Freddy and could disappear into the vents, Alec even got trapped in a pipe once after he fell into it and it wasn’t fun, Lefty did pull him out when he found him. Lefty was not just looking out for him, but protecting him like how a parent would.

Alec did realise after he was put back into his body that the family life he thought he wanted for several months wasn’t the one he needed.

That was months ago, and Hazel had followed him to this new life with Lefty and the others.

Lefty was still sort of new to being a parent, technically he had eight kids to watch out for, him and his sister included.

“You know if you want me to come home, just text me,” Alec said to Lefty, he didn't want Lefty to worry about him.

“Well, you know what I said... don’t be outside after midnight.”

The whole midnight thing wasn’t as much of a curfew as it was a safety rule, Alec was fine to follow any rules Lefty had because they weren’t unreasonable, Lefty expected him to do homework and chores but he was okay when Alec wanted to take a break, play games and go out for the afternoon, Lefty had never fought with him or scolded him.

“I wouldn’t,” Alec answered, “Because I know you don’t me to get hurt.”

“I don’t want anyone in this house hurt,” Lefty seemed to correct him.

“Not even Matt?”

Alec had spoken the name of an adult man they recently met, Alec knew Lefty was having arguments with Matt regularly but they seem to be less now.

“Me and Matt are establishing a better relationship,” Lefty explained, “He's starting to break a lot of bad habits, I think Spring could also to be thanked for that, I mean yes what happened wasn’t nice but it was a wake-up call, and in a way... everyone here has had some sort of wake up call.”

Alec felt like he had two wake-up calls:

When he realised Hazel wasn’t a manipulative brat, and when he realised he was a lot happier when Lefty was filling the parent role better than his own parents.

“Regardless no one in my opinion deserves to be attacked by a rogue robot.”

“What about the people created Lonely Freddy?”

“Well... I already showed those people their actions have consequences and Karma's a bitch.”

“Well, you are Karma then.”

Lefty chuckled at that, “I guess I am.”

“So not grounded for being out past eleven?”

Lefty shook his head, “Alec, I don’t really ground anyone, you know that but I'd like you to go to bed now, you need to have at least 9 and half hours of sleep.”

Lefty didn't particularly enforce an exact time for sleep, he did however liked everyone to be asleep by eleven, and he said Hazel and Chuck should have about 10 hours of sleep.

Alec nodded, “Okay, goodnight dad.”

Alec did occasionally call him Dad but not always, Lefty wouldn't force it, Alec never saw how Lefty would smile when he heard that.

“Goodnight Alec...” Lefty responded as Alec disappeared upstairs out of view.

Lefty looked at Fetch, who turned his head to him and gave him the innocent look like he did nothing wrong, he gave that look yesterday when he tracked in mud on the kitchen floor.

Lefty saw Fetch had sent him a message on his phone.

“I guess I need to do that... I mean... he's legally my kid now, heck I even considered him my kid long before, I put in the effort that his real parents never did,” Lefty said, ”I don't want to come off as controlling, however.”

I nvr met Alec's M&D but dey don’t sound gd like Greg's, U btr parent 4 them all

“Ian and Meg aren’t the same as Greg's parents...” Lefty told him, “I don’t like talking to Ian or Meg, but I’ve threatened Greg's father saying if he ever hurts him again then he better start running immediately because I won’t be held back this time by anyone.”

Fetch growled at the mention of Greg's father, something they both hated was Greg's father, he then shook his head and yawned.

Bedtime

“Yes, let's go to bed, Alec's back home now, just go to bed, I'm going to have a quick look, make sure everyone is actually asleep,” Lefty stood up from the sofa and went upstairs, Fetch followed behind him.

Lefty checked on Hazel and Ralpho first, he liked her for some reason so he often jumped on her bed while no one else was looking and fell asleep there, he then checked on Sarah and Millie, who were both asleep in their bed. Delilah also was asleep, with her alarm set for eight AM so she could go to work, Stanley, Matt and Spring were asleep.

The boys all were asleep, Alec obviously would still be conscious but his eyes were closed, the only things Lefty noticed was Pete didn’t take off his hat so it was still on his head and Oscar had his phone in his hands, he obviously fell asleep while texting Issac and Raj.

Lefty then snuck to bed, Fetch had already taken his place on the big dog bed in the corner near the door, Lefty walked pass him, he took off his hat and bow tie then laid down, drifting into a dreamless sleep.

That was until Fetch woke him at eight, asking for breakfast like he always did.
