Ahh shonen anime with the good hearted underdog protagonist who overcomes his odds with his can-do attitude, determination, hard work, and the support of his friends.
Combined with the buckets of filler I remember now why I have trouble following a lot of popular shonen titles.
#malicious musings#i know there is a name for this type of protagonist#but i am too tired to remember#and like this show is good#but this type of underdog protagonist wears me down after a couple seasons#i need more sode character story to keep me hooked i guess#give me more about rage fire gremlin and definitely not elsa zuko
