Mortier and Lefebvre!

I think the letters between Lefebvre and Mortier are fun to read because they’re both always so sweet to each other☺️ Here, Lefebvre has been absent for some time from the army due to a wound at Ostrach. Mortier had written a letter to Lefebvre about how it was going in his Brigadier General gig, and Lefebvre responds:

"Your news has given me infinite pleasure, my dear Mortier, please continue it for me; you feel how much they must interest me, especially in the position I find myself in. My arm, which at first was doing very well, is today in the most alarming state due to the ineptitude of a health officer who, however, in Paris, enjoyed a certain reputation..... I unfortunately gave him leave a little late and accepted Director Barras' doctor..... “

“Keep me informed of your operations; stay at the forefront if possible; Besides, I will always try to have you with me when I return to the army which, unfortunately, I do not foresee soon.”

(pp. 77-78)

Also, the author does mention Mortier’s sadness whenever a general he had been under leaves the army. Here, he writes to a General Ernouf (and also mentions Lefebvre):

"I learned with great regret of your departure from the army. Must we therefore give up the hope of seeing you there again with General Jourdan, your brave friend? You can, at least, count on the fact that our attachment and our esteem will follow you everywhere and that, in particular, the regrets that I feel about our separation are as sincere as the friendship that I have forever dedicated to you and to the others..... “

“If you see General Lefebvre, please tell him how much we want to see him again; I'm worried to know how he's doing; I have written to him several times and I have not received any news.���

That was written in May 6 a few months after Lefebvre had written the previous above letter on April 23.

Also, later, Mortier wanted to return to the Rhine to be under Lefebvre’s orders. He requests to move to the Army of the Rhine, but Lefebvre then writes a very lovely letter to him:

"You know, my dear Mortier, that ambition has never tormented me; I made my principles known to you and I would have thought I was failing them by accepting command of the Army of the Rhine.”

"I know how to appreciate the wish you form to serve with me; I love you and esteem you too much not to participate in everything that depends on me and I hope to succeed in bringing about our reunion as soon as the bad consequences of my injury allow me to return to service. In the meantime, give me your news more often; tell me, above all, something about your operations and the state of the army. “

So Lefebvre hadn’t yet taken command of the Army of the Rhine. Mortier responds with another affectionate letter☺️

"I received your good news on Thermidor 13; they would have been even more pleasant if you had been able to tell me of your complete recovery; However, the hope you gave me of your soon return to the army has revived the hope I have always had of returning under your orders; you are kind enough to promise me this and I make the most ardent wishes so that this much desired meeting can take place when the Army of the Rhine takes action. It is generally believed that you will return with Minister Bernadotte. The soldier is already feeling the effects of his work at the Ministry of War; It was time that his needs were finally taken care of.”

And finally, here is a letter between the two later, when Lefebvre has better health and now commands the 17th military division in Paris. He sent Mortier this letter:

"I accept with great pleasure, my dear General, the offer that you gave me from Souvarow's car. So please, please, send it to me..... I think it won't be long before you cross the Rhine; this time we must succeed and take up our winter quarters in Swabia, Franconia and Bavaria; So keep me informed of your operations, they will become very interesting; but above all, always be convinced that nothing can diminish the sincere esteem and friendship that General Lefebvre will always have for you. “

“P.S. I always think, my dear Mortier, of bringing you closer to me. I had requested for you the command of the place of Paris, then that of Mainz; I was promised both, but your services have probably since been judged to be more useful to the army. However, I have not forgotten you and, certainly, you will still serve with me and as soon as possible.”

And it does come true later! Mortier will eventually come to France and take command of the 17th military division from Lefebvre.

ok what ideas would you have for a danganronpa and undertale crossover and would you have makoto replace frisk or have been a sort of big brother figure for them and maybe what kind of soul makoto has and maybe as I have seen in some undertale fanfics flowey ends up becoming a sort of house pet or maybe he follows around makoto for a bit

Great question! (Unrelated, I did start writing a Danganronpa/Undertale crossover on AO3 a while back, where Chara and Frisk go to Hope's Peak with Class 78.)

For Makoto in Undertale, my thought is he replaces Frisk (or at least doesn't coincide with Frisk; maybe Frisk falls after him, but basically he's not walking alongside Frisk for the adventure).

(In another post I mentioned casting Nagito as Chara, and I maintain that I really like the idea of Nagito as the ghost of a previous fallen human who accompanies Makoto through his journey. Sharing commentary and advice and encouragement, in accordance with the Narrator Chara Theory. Picture Ghost Nagito standing behind Makoto, saying, "Despite everything, it's still you.")

Makoto starts off his journey like, "I need to get back home."

He meets Flowey, and it's like:

"Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the Flower."

"You're a flower!"

"Yyyyyep. Aren't we observant."

"Right, I just mean...Sorry, but you kind of...I've never met a talking flower before."

"Oh, you're new to the Underground, aren'tcha? Golly, you must be so confused. Someone ought to teach you how things work around here! I guess little old me will have to do."

Then Flowey initiates the Fight and tells Makoto to catch the "friendliness pellets", and Makoto warily agrees, but then once Flowey aims an attack at him, Makoto sneezes or something and manages to completely dodge the bullet pattern. (It's not just a single movement; it's, like, a several-second full-body contortion of a sneeze.)

Flowey stares at him. "...What was that?"

"Sorry. Might've been the...pollen?"

"Try to keep still this time, m'kay?"

"Right, sure."

He keeps still, and this time Flowey does strike him. "Ow!"

Flowey laughs. "You idiot!"

"You hit me! What'd you do that for?!"

"In this world, it's kill or be killed!"

"That's not-! You just hit me for no reason! The 'world' had nothing to do with it! We're alone in a room, and you hit me!"

"Oh my angel, stop whining. I'm starting to get how annoying it is to be the older brother." He surrounds Makoto with bullets.

"Wait, wait, wait! What are you even getting out of this?! I don't have anything worth stealing. I mean, I do have a little bag of all-purpose instant plant food in my pocket. Do you want that?"

"Why do you have-?! Just because I'm a flower doesn't mean I eat plant food!"

"Oh. Well, what do you eat?"

"I don't!"

"You don't?"

"I-...Shut up! I eat normal people stuff, okay?! Pie, snails, popato chisps, donuts..."

"Popato...? Oh, wait, donuts?!" Makoto excitedly digs into his pocket and pulls out a little sleeve of wrapped powdered donuts. "I meant to give these to one of my friends, but she wasn't in class today."

"You're not even listening! This world is kill or be killed; you're not going to appease me with snacks when I can just kill you and take them!" Flowey tries to land the killing blow, but once again Makoto sneezes and dodges the whole bullet pattern. "Are you kidding me?!"

"Pollen," he says again, now audibly congested. "Is there a way you can stop shedding it everywhere?"

"I don't shed pollen! You're just...weird!"

All of this to say, Toriel shows up while Makoto and Flowey are arguing with each other, and she momentarily thinks of the children she once raised, and the kinds of arguments they used to have. But the memory subsides, and she saves this human from that flower.

(She doesn't hit Flowey with fire magic, because his argument with Makoto means he isn't actively about to kill him. So she can just take Makoto to the next room, healing his injuries and leaving Flowey behind.)

(Ghost Nagito starts to appear while Toriel is leading Makoto through the Ruins, but initially he's just a mirage in the corner of his eyes. He manifests fully once Toriel leaves to make the pie.)

Makoto gets to know everyone. Like, he spends a pretty significant amount of time with every character, including the random encounters. His goal is to get home, but on the way, he's pacifying every monster. (He's not above fighting back when they seem to be hitting him on purpose, but he never kills anyone; first of all, a lot of the monsters probably read to him as accidental in their attacks, and his desire to hurt them is low enough that even when he fights, he's not doing much harm.) Instead of meeting Toriel at the house like Frisk does in canon, Makoto is probably lying down with Napstablook, when Toriel returns for him.

He stays at Toriel's house for at least a day, learning about her and the Underground, before he leaves.

When he meets Flowey again after sparing Toriel, Flowey tries to do his whole, "Clever, very clever. So you managed to play by your own rules," spiel, but Makoto gets a question in before he can:

"So, if you eat normal food, where does it go? Do you have a stomach?"

Flowey is annoyed but answers, "Monster food doesn't work like that, idiot. It doesn't go all the way through the body."

And Makoto learns more about what monsters are made of and how HP works. He offers Flowey a Spider Donut, but Flowey just leaves.

And that's generally the vibe of his time Underground. Meeting people, lingering with them for long enough to get to know them, confounding every attempt to treat him as an enemy by being unfailingly curious about everyone.

His goal is still to get home, but he's starting to get a picture of how tough that might end up being.

He's getting to know Ghost Nagito, too.

And whether Nagito is a direct Chara stand-in or not, he has a less-than-friendly outlook towards humanity. It's not a straight-up "Humans should be killed," kind of thing; his vibe is kind of like, humans have a responsibility to put their powerful souls to good use. But he admires monsters, magic, etc. There's genuine fondness there. So he starts out skeptical toward Makoto but warms to him pretty quickly.

All of this either culminates in a scenario where Makoto takes a much slower route to the Pacifist Ending (and maybe gets to skip the Photoshop Flowey fight), or Makoto winds up living in the Underground, maybe in Mettaton's old house next to Napstablook, until Frisk falls down and then the plot of Undertale happens. (Meaning, Frisk falls and everyone is like, "Another human! Great, so Asgore doesn't have to kill Makoto!" and Nagito is like, "Hey, good news!" and Makoto is like, "That is a child!!")

In Makoto's house, there's a pot of soil that Flowey sometimes appears in, but Flowey doesn't strictly live there.

Stu(died) Chapter 6.5

Basically this is the beginning of chapter 7 except I change povs and so it annoyed me. So this is a short chapter.

Nesta has never liked the holiday season. Mostly, it's cold and there's no sweater warm enough, too few blankets to cover herself with, and her roommates don't subscribe to the idea of leaving the thermostat at a sweltering 78.

That's the advantage, Nesta thinks, of Emerie and Gwyn going home for the holidays.

Admittedly, it's also a bit sad.

78 and her heart is a solid 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The freezing point of water.

She's been holed up in this apartment, even as most students leave back to their respective families. Even Cassian leaves a week ago. Not that Nesta cares to keep track. She just knows because he keeps sending them photos of him making snow angels to their group chat.

Emerie sends photos of herself on a beach in Miami, because of course she lives somewhere warm. Gwyn, however, lives out in the boonies and barely gets cell reception on a good day. She sends a thumbs up just to tell them she's alive.

She tells them she's going home soon, but really Nesta plans on taking extra shifts if they're offered. No sense in trucking home. She missed the last bus there anyway.

So, Nesta makes do with the Christmas tree her friends put up together. Homemade ornaments and all. She makes do with Netflix and shitty rom-coms, and she ignores all semblance of Cassian who keeps calling her and texting her and sending her pictures.

As if she cares.

She won't tell anyone that she saves them in her phone. She won't tell her friends that he has a routine. Check-ins like some godforsaken good morning texts as if they're dating or something. Calls at midnight because he knows she's not sleeping. He asks what she watches since she's always watching something when he calls. Nesta's surprised she even answers.

But she does.

Every time.

She answers every text with a snark reply. Answers every photo with a wicked emoji. Her voice isn't even happy when she talks to him and yet he calls and calls and calls.

She swears there must be something wrong with this guy.

Or perhaps there's something wrong with her...

Nesta will blame genetics--her DNA with its single nucleotide polymorphisms. If she gets her hair from her father and her eyes from her mother, it only makes sense that her unreasonable obsession with staring at her phone comes from one of them too.

Nesta cannot stop staring at her phone.

It's been 24 hours and not one notification.

Cassian has been killed.

Or at least... he's been maimed.

Maybe shot.

Worse, he might be talking to another girl.

Nesta shakes her head at the thought. Ugh. What is she even thinking? Vomit worthy thoughts and she'll blame recessive genes and the human genome. What has become of her?

She looks at the screen again, sees nothing, and throws the phone on the bed.

She needs a hobby. One of those boring ones too. Paint by numbers or diamond dots. Something that will take her hours. A form of self-flagellation. A punishment for thinking about frat boys instead of studying for the MCAT.

Because she has to study for the MCAT. The MCAT is not going to take itself.

She contemplates this as her phone vibrates.

Nesta will not admit to anyone that she jumps at the sound and rushes to pick it up.

She groans as she sees who it is.

"What do you want Feyre?"

Her little sister huffs. "That's the Christmas spirit! Say that again but in a drearier way, I think you missed the bah humbug."

"You have five minutes," Nesta says, looking at the clock. It's only 12:15. What else is she suppose to do for 9 more hours?

"Hey! You gave me 15 minutes last time. You're shortchanging me."

"Fine. You get 15 minutes. Talk fast."

Feyre laughs and Nesta pauses at the sound, glad that her little sister sounds happy even if she only calls to ask for money.

"I'm calling to see what you're doing right now."

"Why?"

"Because... Well... I need someone to pick me up from the airport."

Her little sister uses her nice voice as she says it, too.

It’s a shame that Nesta has never been one for niceties.

Azriel says he’s been playing it too easy and that’s the only reason he’s not snapping Nesta a pic of his pie. Apple crisp with little lace edges.

His exact words were: why would she buy the cow, if she could get the milk for free?

Cassian is no cow, but he knows Nesta loves roast beef. He knows so much about her and yet she barely answers his texts.

So fine, maybe Azriel is right.

Maybe Nesta doesn’t even really like him that much.

Worse, what if she likes someone else?

Cassian shakes his head. No. Impossible. Nesta's his. He's already decided, as possessive as that may seem. How could she not be? She spent Thanksgiving with his family. They've kissed. Twice.

They've made out even.

But still she doesn't reach out to him. She responds with a thumbs up when he asks how she is. She replies with a heart to his message when he tells her he's baking her favorite dessert.

Stupidly short replies for her stupid, dumb... boyfriend? Friend with minimal benefits? Student she tutors?

Cassian shakes his head again.

He needs to get a hobby.

Except he's baking... that is his hobby. He's already cleaned his room. He's watched football with his brothers. He's taken his little sister to the science museum.

Nothing can stop him from gripping his phone and shaking it.

Why won't she call???

Nesta's face lights up his screen and Cassian presses the call button with the speed of a world record.

“Cassian,” she says in a voice so soft, he could swoon.

“I’ll be right there,” he says immediately.

Okay next chapter is car ride to Nesta's house with Feyre in tow. Also Nesta doesn't have a car right now. I'll explain that later.

ʚ⁺˖↪ The one you would mess with the most though is your older brother Tartaglia, or better known as Childe. The time you went with Teucer to find him was surely something to say the least. He was glad that Teucer came with someone sort of capable of protecting him, but also worried about your safety.

ʚ⁺˖↪ You sometimes visit him on his travels on your own, and you always greet him with a bruise or some sort of injury. It scares him so much, and looks like he's about to murder someone.

ʚ⁺˖↪ Scolds you so much when he is bandaging you up or putting ice on a bruise. If it's a more serious injury, then he will make you stay in one place, so you can heal.

ʚ⁺˖↪ When exploring with you, he literally has to hold you back. Like, he has to hold you down with a hug, so you don't fight some random people. You're just flailing in his arms. He uses this as an excuse to say you're not ready for exploring.

"If you manage to get out, then I'll let you explore with me."

ʚ⁺˖↪ This is now a challenge to you and you try so many times. You fail though, and it leaves Childe smugly laughing while saying 'I told you so' or something along those lines.

ʚ⁺˖↪ If Childe does get wounded in a battle, then you take over until the threat is gone. You rush over to his side and bandage him up. You both sort of tease each other about it, but you do it more so because you're anxious.

ʚ⁺˖↪ Childe does and has learned self-control, just so you can see that you don't have to fight all the time or be intimidating. He genuinely tries to be a good role model to you, and he tries to teach you as best he can.

ʚ⁺˖↪ You just call him stupid, though, but you understand what he's trying to do. You appreciate him for that, and sometimes you get Childe a gift of some sort to show your gratitude.

ʚ⁺˖↪ If you two are playing games, the both of you are cheating. And once one of you realize the other is cheating, it becomes a rough housing play fight.

thinking about that talk with @murmel-malt about how george's ages for these kids in F&B is just... a mess. Like we know George keeps his characters young (Look at... 90% of the cast of ASOIAF being like, 20 and under or what have you) and now I'm on a distraction rabbit hole of how do differently?

Which basically boils down to extending Viserys' reign, and then putting larger age gaps between Rhaenyra's children specifically.

But I thought: Okay, let's break this down side by side for everyone else who is staring at these ages in show vs book canon and trying to make sense of it. I want you to know that you're not alone in this, and I hope this could be a helpful resource for making your own narrative decisions.

TL;DR - the show time jumps do not track and make no sense and has weirdly aged people down and also up and so you make your own decisions. I've put my age recommendations at the bottom of the post.

We know Vizzy doesn't care about the health of his wife, since good lord we know what happened to Aemma and the text specifically states it was not only how young she was when she first started getting pregnant, but also the frequency she was getting pregnant/stillbirths. Like that took a toll. Luckily for Book!Alicent, she was 19/20 when she started having children, and could handle that better

We have two years between Aegon and Helaena, and then 1-2 years between Helaena and Aemond depending on when Aemond was born, and then four years between Aemond and Daeron

With Rhaenyra, we have:

Jace was born at the end of 114 (Rhaenyra is 17, and Jace is the same age as Daeron), Luke is specified as late 115, which... doesn't make sense? Like TECHNICALLY, you could get pregnant as early as three weeks after giving birth (I googled a... lot for this) but like really?

(ETA: I'm not saying this doesn't happen, we have it seeming to happen with Aemond and Helaena, it's the same with Bran and Arya, but as I address below, It doesn't seem to fit with Rhaenyra's character)

Westeros has a 12 month calendar. Jace is a december Baby, which means late 115 means... Oct/Nov/December, which means Rhaenyra was pregnant by February with her second kid.

then Joffrey is born in 117, however it doesn't specify what time of year. We just know that when Aemond loses his eye, Joffrey is 3.

Aegon III is born towards the end of 120 (again, Oct/Nov/Dec). We know that Daemon and Rhaenyra married in 120, not even six months after the death of Laena and Laenor, who died early 120 and Laenor not long after. so with this, like, is Aegon a wedding night baby? Had Daemon and Rhaenyra started boning before they married? (I mean, likely). Then Viserys II is born in 122, then we have a seven year gap before Rhaenyra's birth of Visenya.

Like, I'm sorry, but you want me to believe that Rhaenyra Targaryen who watched her mother have miscarriage after stillbirth for the first 10 years of her life wasn't gonna be more careful about this? Like George, just because we didn't have condoms and birth control pills doesn't mean that there wasn't some kind of bc was used (and there's evidence of that in our real world).

(and like I was saying to Mo: I mean at the end of the day, these ages don't matter, since 78% of these kids died and yes I calculated that percentage, and he wasn't thinking about people digging into the age things because at the end of the day, that doesn't matter for the story he's telling)

Which then brings us to the fuzzy show logic:

The Time Jumps As Follows:

Episodes 1-2: over the course of 6 months.

Episode 3: Two Year Time Jump from previous

Episode 4: No time jump specified but Alicent's given birth. Did Rhaenyra only go to Storm's End? In the book she traveled all the way to Casterly Rock.

No time jump is specified from what I could find for Rhaenyra's wedding but to get everyone there for Rhaenyra's wedding, to put together a royal wedding, you need 6 months at least. Given how big baby!Helaena is, we're looking at a 6-10 month time jump. And I'm sorry but by ship, it's taking like, two-three days to sail from KL to Driftmark, and then you have negotiations that last more than a single conversation. So I feel safe in assuming the 6-10 month time jump between Rhaenyra's return/daemon thing to the wedding. (HOWEVER, everything I found claims there's no time jump, but that's literally impossible because people need time to travel to King's Landing as it takes at least two months from Casterly Rock/Oldtown to get to KL)

Aegon is the child we have confirmation for on his age. He is 3 years old when Rhaenyra is married. We know that Helaena, on the show, is exactly two years younger since Alicent is clearly popping any day on Aegon's 2nd birthday.

Jace - ??? Book canon states he's 4 years younger than Aemond, but there's no way Jace is 6 years old.

In the book: Aemond is 19 years old when Viserys dies, which should make him 19 years old for the final time jump. But instead Aegon is 19/20 years old.

i've thought for a while before making this post. if you're not a regular follower, i don't think it makes sense to read, but if you follow me and keep up with my posts, i ask you to read just to know some information regarding the functioning of the blog from now on.

i created this blog because i wanted to combine training my reading skills with my love for k-pop. and that's still true for me; i'm not here to be a people pleaser, a famous tarot reader, or be seen as the ultimate truth. i just want to showcase my work, practice, and gossip about K-pop.

lately, i've been making a lot of NSFW posts, and i want to say that this will continue to happen, potentially increasing. i even thought about creating a separate blog just for NSFW posts based on tarot, but then i thought, "why should i do that when 403tarot is MY blog, my space, and there i can post whatever i want? who am i trying to please by doing that?"

and i don't want to please anyone. i am of legal age, the idols for whom i create NSFW content are of legal age (yes, they are not your little meow meow), and the audience for my content in general is for adults. besides, tarot is a game. nothing that any tarot reader says is necessarily true or false; it's just how a person interprets answers to questions posed to 78 cards of paper.

"i don't think xyz idol acts the way you described" okay! take what i wrote as fanfiction then, imagine that they act that way and have fun. learn how to enjoy things without taking it weirdly too deep. i know some see tarot as something sacred, but in my view, it's just 78 cards made for my entertainment. for me, it's a mere game, and i'll always treat it that way. if you don't like it, and my perspective bothers you to the point of being hateful, you can unfollow me.

i say this because some of you have become too brave in sending me rude asks while hiding behind an anonymous filter. i don't care... i don't know who made you believe that you are SO important, but i'm here to tell you that it's not true. i don't care if you don't think tarot should be used for NSFW or that my readings aren't good enough. i put disclaimers in all my posts, and in none of them do i remember mentioning that i need anyone's approval.

however, anonymous asks are now permanently prohibited. you can tell me hateful things through ask but at least have the decency to show your username while doing so. from there, you can have fun and say whatever you want! you'll probably be ignored, but i know some don't get attention from their parents and therefore feel the need to seek it from strangers on the internet.

9 tbrs for 2025

I've been tagged by @booksandabeer and I couldn't be happier since, maybe you know by now, but I love books and I love talking about books!!!

My TBR at the moment has more than 100 titles, and I made pace with myself thinking I will never reach the bottom of it since it keeps growing every year, but these are the 9 the titles I hope to read in the 2025. I'd be ok with reading also half of them 'couse I know I will be distracted by other books along the way, but let's try at least XD

My sister, my love : it's really strange to me that considering JCO among my favorite writers I've never read this book, considered her masterpiece and her most famous one. She is a fantastic, brutal, fearless, almost diabolical writer, a real witch. I want to read all of her 80+ books, and hopefully this year it's time for this one!

2. A sunny place for shady people: queen Mariana Enriquez writes a book and I read it, as simple as that.

3. Bright young women: recommended to me by severla friends, this feels like a perfect reading for my tastes: a serial killer targetting a sorority in late '78s? Black Christmas vibes all over here!

4. The winter soldier: intrigued by the title, ofc, this book has been sitting into my kindle since 2019, in the meantime Daniel Mason has been rather acclaimed for his other novel. It's an historical fiction about a soldier during WWI. Feeling like time to read this one is approaching! (maybe)

5. Shadowplay: well, vampires are getting big again in this day and age, right? This is another historical fiction taking place in late 1800 Dublin, and involving Bram Stoker, the writing of the masterpiece Dracula, and a love story? Not so sure about the love story part, but on board about all the rest. This has been sitting on my shelf for more than year too, ugh.

6. The witch elm: I love Tana French. Like adore her. This is the last Tana French book I have left to read. I want to read it but I DO NOT want to read it. I love Tana French so much pls Tana French write more books for me.

7. Boy parts: I read the Penance in 2024 and I LOVED it, so I want to read Eliza Clarck's debut. It sounds fun, in a very dark way.

8. Long bright river: much like the previous book I've read Liz More's The God of the Woods in 2024 and really enjoyed it, so I want to go back and read more of her stuff. This should be perfectly up my alley: crimes and sisters' bonding!

9. The unlikely escape of Uriah Heep: I feel this is a few steps out of my comfort zone considering I'm not a big reader of urban fantasy or fantasy in general, but the premise seems so funny and I've read only good review about it, I need to give it a go! For when I'd need something funny and entertaining!

Ok y'all I have another story idea from my dreams.

Does it make sense? Kinda but whatever the story is really cool and I'll probably work out the logistics later

Kyoya is a robot that was designed by his father to befriend rich kids and learn their family secrets, then travel back in time to tell him so his father can use it for blackmail (stay with me here)

After doing this hundreds and hundreds of times Kyoya gets the assignment to learn about the Suoh family.

He goes through middle school for the hundredth time and actually talks to Tamaki.

But something is different, even though he cannot feel he feels like he's getting a feeling of deja vu like he's done this before.

Time passes and he's in high school now. He has grown closer to Tamaki, he still hasn't spilled any family secrets though how bizarre.

More time passes and Kyoya thinks he's malfunctioning, he feels weird near Tamaki his chest starts to hurt and his skin blushes inappropriately, he should time travel back but he doesn't want to come back empty handed and be a disappointment.

As time passes, they start a club the malfunctions get worse he makes friends this isn't right he hasn't been focusing on his main objective why is this all so familiar..?

Then one night during his charging cycle he finds a file in his system that he doesn't have access to (idk computer language just bare with me guys)

It takes him a couple days but he hacks into it.

He has done Tamakis assignment multiple times.

78 times to be exact.

All of the details about what went wrong was right there

And I would love to keep on going in this story format but I am not that creative rn so here's how it ended (in my dream at least, maybe I'll turn this into a real fic if I get good feedback)

OK so in my dream it ended with Kyoya trying to get around his Fathers safety features so he could actually kill him and or hurt him enough to let him free so he could live w tamaki

WELL it doesn't go well turns out he had this backup backup plan that if kyoya went rogue he has this remote that basically shuts him down.

He gets restarted and his assignment is Tamaki Suoh

Now you might be asking "why is Kyoyas dad obsessed with the Suoh family?" Tbh it's just bc he is pissed that Kyoya isn't listening to him and now he's obsessed with finding out with what's up with the Suohs

Since I've been inactive for a while, and have made no progress on the multiple stories I've started, I'll just dump my 3 top spots for each MHA character from the Auction series, just to pretend I'm still of some use. I actually have charts for each of them, but since I'm still unsure about two characters spots and totals, I won't post them.

The rating goes 1-10, with 4 and below meaning "no reaction at all" and 10 being "strongest possible reaction for a normal person".

Bakugo: Bakugo's top spot is his ribs (10)... until he sweats, in which case, his feet go from a 9 to an 11, meaning he gets superhumanly ticklish! His pits are his third worst spot, scoring an 8 when "dry" and a 9.5 when sweaty. Oh, also, normally the best method to work his ribs is to dig in, but when he gets sweaty, scratching is just as bad. His total when "dry" is 68.5, making him the least ticklish of the bunch (he just has a few bad spots)... but also the most ticklish when he sweats, clocking in at a friggin' 84. This guy was made to be broken. Special spot: His palms are also kinda sensitive (5.5), or pretty sensitive when he sweats (7.5).

Inasa: Inasa's top 3 spots are tied at an 8.5: his chest, pits, and big toes. But honestly, I keep going back and forth on them, because, naturally, his thighs (8) also deserve an honorable mention. But squishy pecs command respect, and I like the idea of him having ticklish big toes, as in the How to Stop a Quirk series. As for his pits, well, he's a big guy, it's obvious. Overall, at a 74, he's one of the least ticklish of the bunch. Special spot: His back (6.5).

Kaminari: Now, I made a mistake with Kaminari's story, and I think I'll actually go back and change it: he's sensitive for sure, and definitely a major drama queen, but none of his spots should have been a 10 - he's just dramatic like that. It just feels like Bakugo, Kirishima, Midoriya and Todoroki all should have at least one spot that's more ticklish than his worst. Anyway, his abs and the back of his knees are tied for worst spot at a 9. We also have a tie for his third worst spots, the contenders being his sides, thighs, and his, uh... johnson. As for his total, the fact that he's so ticklish on the back of his knees (Special Spot) increases his total by +5, making him one of the most ticklish of the bunch at an 82.

Kirishima: Obviously, his death spot is his armpits (9.5), it's not even a contest. As much as he enjoys being tickled, it's just too much to take there. Second worst is his ribs (9), followed by his thighs (8.5). Like Inasa's, his back (Special Spot) is also sorta ticklish. His total is 78. Uh, kind of weird I've got so little to say about my 2nd favorite lee.

Midoriya: At an 83.5, this guy is just narrowly edged out by Bakugo at his worst. It wasn't even intentional, it's how the numbers worked out. Tumblr has convinced me he's most ticklish on his hips (10), followed by his pits and feet (9). Also, definitely the most feather-sensitive of the bunch (Bakugo is the least). Special Spot: This guy has no special spot because he's just ticklish everywhere, so he's got a +1 from his ears, neck, back of the knees, and back.

Ojiro: Overall, the least ticklish of the group, at a 71. His most ticklish spot is his butt (8.5), all the way to the base of his tail (but not just). Second worst spot is his abs (8). His V-line, pits, and chest are tied for third place (7.5).

Shindo: Deceptively sensitive, it's just that his Quirk has made him immune to certain forms of tickling. His nipples and bellybutton (Special Spot) are tied for first spot (9), and they are the exception to the rule because you need vibrations to make them sensitive. His V-line and johnson are tied for third place (8.5). His total, when vibrations are accounted for, is 74.5.

Todoroki: The numbers lie here, because Todoroki has 3 spots that are a 9+. His right side is generally more sensitive than the left, with a couple of exceptions. Averaged, his total is a mere 72.75, but his hot spots - pardon the pun - are truly hot: his left foot is a 10, his right side is a 9.5, and his left armpit is a 9. Any of these getting tickled will have him crying, as he's not used to the sensation at all.

For whatever reason Sebek was my first thought for the character opinion thingy, so let's hear it for the croc man.

First Impression: So I actually knew just a smidge about him before I started playing twst (shoutout to this character essay and this anituber's reactions to the twst cast). I thought he was kinda cute, green hair is always a top tier design choice, but I don't like stanning characters based off appearance alone (I mean, sure the essay had bits abt his insecurities but I need to see the trauma/insecurities in action before falling headfirst into the rabbithole)

Impression now: LOVE HIM!!! MY MOST FAVE OF THE DIASOMNIA PEEPS!! (😭so why does he keep forcing me to hit 100 pity everytime i aim for his ssrs😭) there's so much to dissect about his character and backstory, but aaaagh... i'll eventually get to bingereading book 7... Eventually!! (I also hear his Halloween SSR vignette has some interesting food for plot 👀 but alas, gotta keep myself unspoiled)

Favorite moment: kinda related to my first (proper) impression, but i'll never forget how hard i ugly-laughed while reading this vignette👇

(💕hes so earnest and demanding...he takes himself so seriously...he's so devoted to lilia's word...it's stupid but like in a cute way, i cant i want to pinch him and shake him like a soda bottle💕)

Idea for a story: sdjlfsdfjs I still have that silsebe x vampire!reader fic... that i might completely overhaul 😭 but i still gotta keep the spirit of bi-disaster sebek, i like relationships that are still in their awkward fumbling stages💕

++I've also wanted to try writing stuff making use of his knight background like reader wanting to try swordfighting ig? or maybe trying to explore Silver and Sebek being trained by Lilia when they were younger (gotta confirm my educated guesses before i write smth)

++OH and there's also the art appreciation-flavor of reader insert fluff I can take!! mans is proficient in both the arts and physical activity sheesh 😳(now if only i weren't held hostage by a diff reptile🐍)

Unpopular opinion: Sebek isn't actually that loud? Idk... he reads to me as someone who's pretty level-headed 78% of the time, he is a trained knight and while he is highstrung, I think he can rein it in better than most of the first years, at least (in a reader insert, i'm not gonna write him very noisy, i believe mans shuts up if u make out sloppy style)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Just HANNIBAL right now (and for like the last seven years or so). Been vaguely thinking about picking up a second but nothing has caught my interest strongly enough.

I try to, and I enjoy doing so, but sometimes the brainworms win and I don't get stuff done even when I really want to.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Breathless

I don't love this story, but "Hannibal is effectively braindead after the fall, but Will keeps caring for the body and feels that Hannibal is there with him, up until the body dies and Will turns himself in because there isn't any point anymore" probably counts as the most angsty? If you are in the market for a "Hannibal receives a brain injury and he, along with everyone else around him, has to cope with that" story Tina's For Remembrance (Holes in the Floor of the Mind) is a much better pick. And as I continue to think about it, Means of Influence has a pretty angsty ending.

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my stories have slightly bittersweet but still mostly happy endings. Part of the thing about that is I think it's really hard to envision a situation where Will is like 100% Happy Happy, his own mind hates him too much and every little scrap of happiness needs to be fought for and then vigilantly guarded. But I put both him and Hannibal through so much that I always want them to be as close to content as they each can be.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have gotten two flavors of Fic Hate. 1.) People calling the five year old kid OC in ATTACHMENT slurs like "r*tard" and saying "he belongs in jail" and etc.

Every time Hannibal or Will fuck someone who isn't each other at least one person decides to Yell At Me.

I think I've gotten the old "you didn't tag for bottom Hannibal!!" nonsense once or twice too, but who hasn't?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

A little. I actually started Hannishark bc I was really intimidated by sex scenes and wanted to see if I could pull off a short monsterfucker story. I feel like I've gotten better at writing these but am generally more comfortable leaving them sparce on anatomical details and big on feelings/conversations.

10. Do you write crossovers? If so, what's the craziest one?

I've got a WRONG TURN crossover series that I'm very proud of here: Bear Mountain Road AU. You don't need to have seen any of the movies to read it, or anything, the movies' premise of "a clan of inbred mountain cannibals waylays travelers" is really just an excuse to put Hannibal (and Will and D, as child members of the cannibal family) In Situations. If I counts as a cross over, I've got a universe swap between the novels and NBC HANNIBAL here: Shiloh

I also have a vague idea for a SAW / HANNIBAL crossover but I've been sitting on that for so long, who knows if it'll ever happen?

Not so far as I know.
