I'm imagining the toy was meant to squeeze a little but reader is a genetically enhanced super soldier and not the 6 year old the toy was designed for and poor squishy Kalpas never stood a chance. also I think it would be hilarious if reader is super chill all the time but then takes out all that anger in private but Kalpas happened to walk in on them shouting as the toy pops 💀

you get the initial shock of "are you killing toy me?? 🥺" along with "I didn't know you were capable of violence?????" and I think he would have a bit of "HOW COME YOU NEVER FIGHT ME" like he almost feels betrayed that you're not actively trying to murder him 😔
