i think when i've finished women in love i'm going to dive into north and south by elizabeth gaskell for a brief interlude of indulging my weaving shed obsession, then i'll go back and read the rainbow, because i'm desperate for part one of 'ursula brangwen can't catch a fucking break'.

#plus the rainbow 1989 is one of my favourite films of all time #and women in love is fast becoming one of my favourite books (even if davey herbs needs to stop repeating himself)#so. the obvious choice.#but i don't think i could read it straight off the back of women in love #i need 550 pages about the lancashire cotton industry first
