#i modeled our boy here off of the 2000 miniseries and magi versions

I had an idea for a horror twist on Aladdin after I read the original version recently, partly inspired by those analog horror fairytales that have been popping up all over YouTube. That being, Aladdin’s Lamp Genie being Asmodeus, the King of Jinn and Patron Demon of Lust.

The idea stuck in my head and so I made this little concept sketch. Though I admit it’s a bit wanting for details.

I’m wondering now, should I go for it? I’m not Middle Eastern, so I’d like some feedback. It wouldn’t feel right to me if I just took this story that is very much Not My Culture.
