i love pictures of how leather ages and how shoes change with wear and thus i look at this and am very tempted to get these loafers but then i remember that loafers are just... not sexy.

like as an object i find its evolution beautiful but as a shoe??? for wearing??? its probably very comfortable but it looks like what rich old men wear to lunch at the country club, and this is not the aesthetic i aspire to.
