its so fukin funny how everytime i see posts encouraging people to vote because it’s a good way to fight racism etc on a societal level, without even mentioning parties, there’s always some guy like “ugh wtf is this dem propaganda” like my guy no one mentioned democrats its not my fault u hear someone say “racism sucks” and think its a personal attack on u, u coulda easily voted for a non-racist republican except u just admitted u dont think they exist. maybe u need to think about some stuff

#i dont mean the posts that are obviously democrat #i mean the ones that are completely party neutral and just point out that voting affects peoples lives #and some asshat's like what the fuck is this liberal bullshit #politics //#for the record: i do think there's probably non-shitty republicans #i mentioned that one repub on my ballot who was pro-choice and pro-gay and anti-gun #the on-paper ideas of the party arent all inherently immoral #and the desire for less government interference in general is a p neutral thing #but they need to take a hard look at who theyre in bed with #and the whole party needs a serious overhaul if they want to be taken seriously as a party that actually wants to help people
