yay finished four swords adventure yayayay
#i had this game for like a few weeks as a kid. borrowed from another kid#but i was Fucking Clueless on how to play it#it wasn't my first zelda experience or anything like i already knew how LoZ worked but#for some reason no matter how much i tried i could never figure out like#how to get past level fucking One TKFJDKDK#iirc it was something like#i Never figured out how you could lift rocks#because the game just doesn't tell you oh it's That button#and in lvl 1 there's a cave you Have to go into to progress that's blocked off by a rock#so the little time i spent on this game was just roaming around the very first level with No idea what to do#20 years later i beat it Revendged Achieved#and i only used a guide like. maybe 4 times when i was really stumped gkfjf#it was fun. nice change of pace with the level selection as opposed to the more 'open world' classic formula#the story was decent but basic. definitely not the zelda with the best lore#i mean... besides zelda link and arguably ganon there weren't really... characters#the maidens are literally copypaste Generic Magic Woman (color-coded)#but eh i get it. this is basically a spin-off game from 20 fucking years ago i'm not gonna fault it for having subpar writing#gameplay was fun that's what matters#ok im off to sleep gkfjfjd
