Hey Clay, I noticed you seem to like fossil Pokemon a fair bit so I'm curious if you could help me out with a little problem I have. a small group of Omanyte have appeared in the local pond near me, they haven't caused any problems yet but I don't know if I should call a ranger team about it or leave them
I mean- Omanyte are considered to be extinct, so probably a local museum or fossil maniac released them (or they have escaped!).
They are not aggressive, but the environment has changed so much from the time they were alive that they might not be suited to live in the wild. They can be preyed upon with no way to defend themselves; especially if the pond is populated by aggressive predators like Crawdaunt or Barraskewda that can break their shells without much issue. Or worst-case scenario, they can become an invasive species.
I'd recommend getting the Rangers or a team of Archeologists to at least take a look at 'em and asses their situation. Hopefully they can be left there without being an issue to the local fauna, and if you're very lucky, you may have discovered a thriving, un-extinct population of them occurring naturally in the wild!
