hogwarts au! wonwoo

a/n: hi hello, ellen here with my first post omg (if you can’t tell, I’m really nervous h a h) but here it is!!!! I just wanted to post something for now before i post anything else bc this has been on my mind lately  :) & this hogwarts au is going to be a series! I just wanted to start off with wonwoo bc... he has a special place in my heart hehe also!!!! to the anon that requested the dk scenario: it’s on the way! was a hatstall bc the sorting hat was debating for over 10 minute whether to put him in hufflepuff or ravenclaw

highkey, wonwoo wanted ravenclaw & ofc the sorting hat takes personal preference into the decision

so boom

ravenclaw wonwoo with glasses is a thing (and is a concept that needs to happen !!!!)

does well in all his classes (as the stereotypical ravenclaw should)

but does exceptionally well in herbology (as the garden fairy should)

professor sprout rlly loves him

she knew that he was going to be an exceptional herbology student during the mandrake lesson

wonwoo was the only one who successfully switched pots without dropping the mandrake (ahem. s coups.)

without screaming along (looking at you dk)

or without fainting (poor josh)

but wonwoo did it with ease

like he had done it before????

& this was second year wonwoo, too!!!

so prof sprout was very surprised by very pleased that she has another star student (shout out to neville)

he’s just super good with plants & is a natural at it

tends to stay after class sometimes to help take care of the plants

he seems very unapproachable bc of his stoic face

and he really does scare the first years tbh….

he’s lowkey sad about this bc he wants to help the first years settle into their new lives has hogwarts students

bc he knows how confusing and difficult is is for them to adapt to their surroundings… they’re only 11 year olds!!!!

he especially wants to help the muggleborns

bc they were literally thrown into a world that they never knew about… & they’re basically “behind?” the others who have grown up in this type of environment

& wonwoo knows that for them it’s especially difficult since he was in their shoes when he entered hogwarts, he’s a muggleborn too

second favorite place: the lake

the place really attracts him, especially the lake

he likes it there bc he’s basically alone and he enjoys the serene view

i mean, he likes being around people, especially his friends

but he also enjoys being alone

he likes being able to sit with the small waves and splashes and winds as the background noise and just think… and read

likes the lake so much that he’s in the slytherin common room more than he’s in his own common room

thank merlin he’s close friends with slytherin s coups and the fact that he sucks at herbology so wonwoo can tutor him

wonwoo’s known to be a good observer of people and he’s pretty darn good of knowing how people act

“humans are too predictable” ok wonwoo

fellow ravenclaw minseok (& chaser and captain of the quidditch team) finds out about this and asks wonwoo if he’d like to help out the team

at first wonwoo was really relunctant bc quidditch???? i don’t…. really like… quidditch….

but then minseok says that in return, wonwoo can get access to the restricted section of the library

bc minseok helps out in the library and so he has connections and can pull some strings

plus pince loves wonwoo way too much to actually yell at him

ofc bookworm wonwoo isn’t going to pass up on this once in a lifetime opportunity
