               the terribly unfortunate part of running a business. signatures. permits. forms. any work that takes place on parchment and not on vax’ildan is a waste of time in his opinion. well, no. not a waste. he’s sure it’s all very important and vital to gilmore’s business, makes him successful, which in turn makes him happy, blah blah blah... 

               but vax is here for the night, and while he would never think to disrupt the lovely man from his passion, he’s bored. laying with his back on the floor, butt scooched up against the base of gilmore’s desk, and his legs sticking straight up and curving to the top of the desk, the rogue stares up at his lover, foot tapping in the air with a silent beat.

               “ shaun, ”     he says after a while ( surely it has been hours, not fifteen minutes ), reaching out a hand to poke at gilmore’s leg.     “ how much longer? ”
