I'm surprised no one on Tumblr (that I've seen, anyway) is talking about this "lost Kingdom Hearts game."
Though that title is a little bit misleading. This was more a pitch that the creator made to Square Enix, and if they liked it, they would have of course moved forward with it. But it seems that Square wasn't sold on it, and thus nothing happened.
But this idea for a Kingdom Hearts VR game (not to be confused with the official Kingdom Hearts VR Experience that does exist), was actually pretty cool. The creator did a great job with it, in my and many people's opinion. And while I do enjoy the Kingdom Hearts VR Experience that we got... if I'm being honest, just the start of this project was better than that was.
Who knows why Square Enix turned this idea down, but it is a disappointment. But if nothing else, I'm glad that the creator of the pitch reached out to lowkeymatt and let him play it, so we could see it and let it live on in some way.
And maybe we'll get a real Kingdom Hearts VR game someday.
#kh#kingdom hearts#kingdom hearts vr game#lost kingdom hearts vr game#kingdom hearts vr game pitch#Youtube#depending on how they do it... if square enix wanted to make an actual kh vr game i think it could be great#i mean look at the help wanted five nights at freddy's vr games#yes those are somewhat different. arguably. because you always play in third person in fnaf and you play in third person in vr too#but idk. i def think they could make it work#there's a part of me that wishes missing link was a vr game instead of what it is now#maybe. then. they wouldn't be having all the technical difficulties and it would be out already#sora

hihi i ask about lolbit
litERALLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE FNAF CHARACTERS BECAUSE THEYRE JUST SUCH A SILLY okay okay so . lolbit. rightg.
lolbit was first actually in a fnaf game back in like 2016 when fnaf world (fnaf rpg) came out, it wasnt really. a popular game?? but thats where lolbits ACTUALLY from, heres lolbit in fnaf world
lolbit sells bytes in fnaf world that essentially just help you out while youre in battles, they were just sort of a recolor of the funtime foxy back in fnaf world (who at that time was just a fixed mangle; pictures of each for reference)
(funtime foxy (fnaf world), and mangle fnaf world. blurry images but u can tell theyre meant to be the same character)
that was lolbits first appearance. THEN came sister location
lolbit isnt in the main game at all as an actual enemy, but they are an easter egg that yo ucan get in the control module (image 1) in place of the ennard mask (image 2)
(theyre jus up there. silly thing they are)
and thats really all the CANON content we have of lolbit from sister location but they ARE in the custom night (of which i will put a clip of them showing up from my 10/20 playthrough and attempt); to get rid of them as an enemy, you have to type LOL on your keyboard or on the keypad in your office before they make it to all three screens or else you get stuuck with a "PLEASE STAND BY!" screen of lolbit where you cant put your cams up or shut your doors (problematic as FUCK in the 20 mode because of YENNDO)
heres lolbit showing up + me getting rid of them in my 20 mode successful run, and here (jumpscare warning) is me getting my cam pulled down by lolbit and then MURDERED by yenndo afterwards
theyre also in help wanted (the vr game) in funtime auditorium they are TERRIFYING
there they are look at them in all their glory. ignore funfred looking Stupid in the back i love him too but hes not the topic of today
anyway kso thats lolbit theyre my favorite. also have lolbit from the five laps at freddys teaser look at them my love of my life
theyre also really inconsistent i notice?? like i mostly mean in terms of like. the funtime esque version, with the faceplates that looks like a recolor funtime foxy (fnaf sl not world), tho i blame the flipping around of the dev teams for that. anyway the loml lolbit heres everything i know abt them
#io love lolbit so much#thank u soda for asking abt them heres all the info i can provide#xanbox#fnaf#fnaf sl#lolbit

Welcome!
Hello!
At Fazbear Entertainment, we always make sure to provide our values of family and fun. But, we also make sure to take to all feedback our customers give us. Now we're giving you an opportunity to be directly involved! That's right, I mean you!
A handy voting poll for all of our entertainers, books, toys, and video games will be created, and in a series of rounds, we will determine the de facto favorite of the Fazbear Family!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a bracket competition for FNAF characters! The majority of this list is from the Ultra Custom Night wiki as well as my own input. The rules are below.
To be featured in the competition, it must be an animatronic, prop, product, or character relating to the Fazbear brand in some way. This mean no humans (both player character and offscreen voices), no non Fazbear Ent robots, etc. Something like Sea Bonnies will get in, but Baron von Bear will not (due to being part of a ripoff Freddy's location). Humans in video games (8-bit, FIS) will also not be featured (a few Purple Guy variants will be featured due to being less human and more creature-like, ex Mini P).
Recolors and small changes will be featured separately so long as it's a very drastic change. For example, Toy Freddy in VR looks much different than his "real life" counterpart due to the more brown color instead of the orangey brown he normally has. See rule 6 below for more info.
Characters with only a voice or no full body will not be featured. There must at least be a head and torso on the character UNLESS there is significance for them just being a head (ex. Cupcake characters, Lolbit versions, prop parts in FNAF 3). This does not apply to books, since most just have descriptions to go off of. Instead, they must either A) Be named or B) Have a proper presence in the story.
Duplication of characters will be avoided as much as possible.
Only official FNAF games and products will be featured. No FNAF Fangames will be represented. The same applies to other games Scott produced (unless he crossed them over).
The merch I will be including from the main brands will be plushies. If a character does not have a plush version, it won't be featured (ex something like Glow Mr. Hippo). This is mainly to reduce the insane amount of variants Funko pops out. The only exception to this rule is the FNAF AR characters.
There are 868 characters. There will be 31 rounds, with 28 characters per round. After that, those characters will be put up against each other to determine the winner! Below is the list of what I'm pulling from.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Obsolete, Night 22: Five Nights at Freddy's: Restart
''We're waiting every night to finally roam and invite newcomers to play with us, for many years we've been all alone. We're forced to be still and play the same songs we've known since that day. An imposter took our life away, now we're stuck here to decay. Please let us get in, don't lock us away, we're not like what you're thinking! We're poor little souls who have lost all control and we're forced here to take that role! We've been all alone, stuck in our little zone since 1987! Join us, be our friend, or just be stuck and defend, after all you only got – Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's, oh…''
– Five Nights at Freddy's by The Living Tombstone (Five Nights at Freddy's)
xXxXxXx
If there was one word that could describe the current situation in Springtrap's mind, it would be ''surreal''. After so many weeks of waiting, Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex was celebrating its opening day, and he and Sam had arrived a couple of hours earlier as instructed to help out with the animatronics and S.T.A.F.F. Bots. They were currently standing on the upper floor at the lobby, staring at the entrance and observing the crowd that impatiently waited outside.
Sam had traded her dark purple and black uniform she wore at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria for a new one, consisting of a red short-sleeved T-shirt with a logo featuring Glamrock Freddy's head over her left breast pocket, with the words ''Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex'' underneath it, and silver words spelling out ''TECHNICIAN'' on her back, along with the logo of the Pizzaplex, black slacks and a name tag hanging on the black Glamrock-themed lanyard around her neck, labeling her as ''Samantha Blackburn, Animatronic Technician''. She had also kept her brown hair tied in a high ponytail with a purple scrunchie. Currently, she was on her smartphone, talking to Matt.
''So, we got about 10 minutes left until they open this place. How's the situation outside?'' she asked, having put him on the loudspeaker so Springtrap could hear their conversation.
''Uh, wild I suppose?'' Matt replied. ''I mean, people were showing up in costumes back at Freddy's, but I didn't expect that there would be so many cosplayers here. There are a bunch of families and kids, but I can see teens and even adults waiting alone or with their friends.''
''I'm not really surprised by how things turned out. Fazbear Entertainment was really aggressive when it came to advertising the Pizzaplex. They even added an update to Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, that allows you to enter a code to get a coupon for a free meal if you buy the game,'' Sam noted.
''They have certainly put more effort into this place than any of their other location. Even Circus Baby's Pizza World hadn't this much promotion,'' Springtrap said, reminiscing of the past for a moment.
''Well, I'll be seeing you two soon,'' Matt said, cancelling the call. Sam put her smartphone back into her pocket, glancing at Springtrap with a questioning look. He gave her a soft smile.
''I'd be lying if I said that neither me nor Henry had ever expected that Fredbear's Family Diner would ever expand into something like this,'' Springtrap said, pointing vaguely at the lobby. ''This place is the first Entertainment Complex of its kind.''
''Do you think that Henry would be happy to see what has become of Freddy's?'' Sam asked. Springtrap took a moment to think about it.
''It is hard to say. Henry did love the franchise we had created together, and I suppose he would be quite proud to see that people are still coming to Freddy's, even if it's a different location, to eat and have fun. However, Henry was never really an ambitious man, and was quite content with just maintaining Fredbear's Family Diner,'' Springtrap explained.
''I suppose you were the more ambitious one,'' Sam said.
Springtrap nodded, continuing the story, ''I had managed to convince Henry to push forward with expanding Fredbear's since it became incredibly popular, and we eventually founded the company that would become Fazbear Entertainment. You already know the rest of the story, though.'' Springtrap folded his arms across his chest, his eyes narrowing as he gazed at the lobby. ''However, after what happened at the last location and after our conversations last summer, I believe that Henry would hate the fact that Fazbear Entertainment has not only returned, but made a whole spectacle out of it. He wanted to end it all back when he started that fire. He wanted Freddy's to be gone for good and forgotten by the public.''
''What about you? Are you happy about what happened to Freddy's?'' Sam asked curiously. Springtrap hummed in thought.
''I don't believe that I can describe how I feel now as 'happy'. In fact, I'd say that 'impressed' would be a more fitting word. I am impressed with the new technology the Showtimes and Glamrocks possess, and I am impressed with how much effort Fazbear Entertainment put into this new location, even though I know their policy,'' Springtrap answered, a tiny smirk of amusement appearing on his expression. ''I suppose that, unlike Henry, I don't want Freddy's to end and be forgotten. Maybe it's because I was a co-founder, maybe it's because I was responsible for its horrifying history; but I always find myself coming back to this place. Even after the fire at Fazbear Frights, when I was free to go wherever I wanted, I still returned back to the Freddy's location even though I knew it was nothing more but a trap. Admittedly, I had also figured I'd find the exit, but that doesn't matter anymore. The point is, that location was something familiar, something I had associated myself with, and I am certain that. I belonged there.'' His eyes showed a faint glow of purple as he remembered what had happened. He then turned towards Sam. ''To answer your question, yes, I do feel happy about the Pizzaplex opening. However, I'm not happy about what might be lurking here.''
Sam then glanced at the clock of her smartphone, noting how they still had a couple more minutes left, and thought back to what she had been told. As they were counting down the days to the grand opening of the Mega Pizzaplex, Springtrap had noticed that more and more people have begun visiting Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, informing a busy Sam about his observation. Mostly, it were families with young children excited to see the animatronics, but more and more teenagers had been showing up, some even dressing up as the animatronics as if they were on their way to a convention. However, that wasn't the only thing that had happened.
Sam and Matt took note that in their high school, more and more of their classmates were talking about the Fazbear Franchise and the upcoming opening of the Mega Pizzaplex. While some were interested in visiting the place to see the attractions, a good chunk of them were talking about the Five Nights at Freddy's games, mainly Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, but also about the deleted games Fazbear Entertainment claimed to have been made by some lunatic. Some had even decided to dig into the past and found newspaper clips about the Missing Children Incident, which only got them more excited as the games were clearly based on a real event. It didn't help that those theories were fueled by YouTube videos, with some people even making songs based directly on the games, with one song even becoming so incredibly popular that people claimed it to be THE FNaF theme song.
Sam had to admit that it was quite interesting listening to all of the wild theories people were throwing out, trying to figure out what exactly the lore of the initial FNaF games was, from claiming that Phone Guy was Purple Guy and therefore the murderer, to all of the games being just a dream made up by a traumatized Crying Child, to the whole game being just a simulation made by a delusional creator. Sam also took note of the fact that no one was mentioning a glitching bunny when it came to the Help Wanted game, meaning that only the versions played by her and Vanessa contained the code for Glitchtrap inside them. At least she didn't have to worry about more people getting influenced by him… right?
''So, Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex is finally open.'' Springtrap's statement snapped Sam out of her thoughts and she looked back at the lobby, seeing the crowd coming inside, some looking somewhat unsure where to even go and just looking around, while others walked more confidently. Sam narrowed her eyes, trying to find Matt in the crowd and feeling glad that she had managed to spot him. He waved back at her, with Sam returning the gesture, not noticing that Springtrap was glaring at Matt and turning to him when he placed his hand on her shoulder. ''We should also go now.''
''Yeah, right. I was given the task to patrol all of the attractions that have the Glamrocks as mascots, as well as check on Monty,'' Sam said. From what she had been told, Victor and several other technicians would be keeping an eye on the S.T.A.F.F. Bots, since those could malfunction much more easily than the Glamrocks or Montgomery for that matter. There was also a technician tasked to keep an eye on DJ Music Man and another one was making sure that the Daycare Attendant was behaving properly. ''We'll go first to Rockstar Row.''
xXx
Matt had to admit that his first impression of the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex was just pure amazement. Even though Sam and Mr. Afton had described the place in as much detail as possible, it was a completely different thing to experience it in person. The only reason he even knew that his whole building was the converted Machinations Factory was because Sam had told him about it, as this place was otherwise unrecognizable. He was quite in awe, but he also felt disoriented, if not overwhelmed, due to just how many things were there to look at. Fortunately, Sam did give him a map of the building, whose image he had now uploaded on his smartphone, but he still had no clue where to go first.
It also didn't help that he wasn't quite fond of the crowd, which was growing only louder and louder the further he went inside. He knew that there was no way to escape the loud volume, as once people got comfortable inside the building, it would be a constant stream of noise. While Matt preferred quiet places, he was able to handle being here. However, he needed to figure out what exactly he was going to do. The initial plan was for him, Sam and Mr. Afton to look around for any signs of the Glitchtrap virus, but something Matt noted was that the virus would not show himself so soon and probably wait for them to lower their guard. The most they could do was to be patient.
''Hi! Please take this map.''
''Agh!'' Matt was startled by Map Bot, who eagerly extended his hand, handing out a map of the Pizzaplex to the teenager. Matt just smiled back sheepishly. ''Uh, no thanks. I don't need one.''
''Take a map,'' the robot responded, still holding out the map.
''No, seriously, I already have one,'' Matt replied, holding up his smartphone for the Map Bot to see.
''Take a map.'' Map Bot was persistent though, with Matt quickly realizing that he would be stuck with this robot. However, this was now a matter of stubborness.
''Once again, I really don't need one,'' Matt replied, holding up his hands in defense.
''Take. A. Map,'' Map Bot said in a firm tone, shoving the map right under his nose, causing Matt to flinch.
''Why are you singling me out? There are other people who need maps more than I do-'' Matt started, when suddenly, two teenage girls walked past them, one of them rolling her eyes and just grabbing the map out of the Map Bot's hand and giving Matt an annoyed look. Matt just stared at her, well aware that she thought that he was just playing dumb, but he didn't care. He was just relieved to get the Map Bot off his back.
''Now, let's see where I should go first…'' Matt muttered, quickly walking away and looking back at his smartphone. ''I suppose I could go to-''
''Hi! Please take a map!''
Map Bot appeared almost out of nowhere, starling Matt once again, just to hand him over a map. Matt almost fell over into the fountain surrounding the Glamrock Freddy statue.
''Dude, I already told you that I don't need one,'' Matt told the Map Bot.
''Take. THE. MAP!'' Map Bot waved with it in front of Matt's face, only for another passing group of teenagers to reach out for the map, causing Map Bot to focus on them for a moment.
When he turned around, he realized that Matt was suddenly gone, but he did spot the teenager rushing up the stairs to the upper floor of the Pizzaplex. Map Bot just stared at Matt until he vanished from his sight. Despite his expression showing no emotion, Map Bot did feel strange, almost insulted that a visitor got away without being given a map to navigate through the massive Pizzaplex.
His eyes glowing furiously, Map Bot was making his way upstairs, determined to fulfill his sole job.
xXx
After visiting Rockstar Row and making sure that all of the Glamrocks were outside their Green Rooms, Sam and Springtrap went first towards Bonnie Bowl. As expected, the bowling alley was cluttered with people wanting to try it out, with the shoe-rental counters being crowded as the employees were trying to handle everything. It was quite novelty for the patrons, especially those from directly from Huricanne, since if one wanted to go bowling, they would have to drive all over to St. George, and with the twenty-two lanes present, it would hopefully be enough for all of the visitors. There was also a line already forming at the ice-cream parlor, with two employees handling the orders.
''It seems that things are under control so far,'' Springtrap commented, both him and Sam overlooking Bonnie Bowl from the upper area. He did glance at Sam when she didn't answer, instead focusing on the bowling alley. ''Sam?''
''I should've brought binoculars or something… Ah, there he is!'' Sam pointed at a group of children surrounding Glamrock Bonnie, who took over one lane, explaining to the kids the rules of bowling.
''Should we go to greet him?'' Springtrap asked. Sam shook her head.
''No, I don't think that's necessary. We are supposed to intervene in case he malfunctions or is broken, but from what I see, Glamrock Bonnie is doing well,'' Sam replied, watching Bonnie has he showed off his skills, getting a strike. ''Woah, I'm impressed!''
''Tch, you're impressed by an animatronic who was created to be an expert in bowling getting a strike?'' Springtrap asked in a sarcastic tone. Sam turned to him with a mischievous grin.
''How many strikes did you achieve?'' she asked, giving him a smug look. Springtrap's eyes narrowed as he gave her an irritated look, groaning.
''How about we leave? You said you wanted to visit Glamrock Chica next, right?'' he asked, trying to change the topic.
''Sure,'' Sam replied, still smiling, well aware that she just hit a nerve. From what Roxanne and Chica told her, Springtrap really sucked at bowling. Of course, the way they told her, it sounded like he was a walking catastrophe, so Sam wasn't sure how much of their story was them just messing with Springtrap.
They went over to Mazercise, which was a fitness area with a bunch of pillows in it. The area itself was basically a huge maze for people to navigate around, as well as a snack bar on the side, offering discounts on unhealthy food and drinks. Surprisingly, there weren't too many people there, just a few who wanted to find their way out of Mazercise. Wondering where in the world Glamrock Chica had gone to, both of them started searching for her, until they finally returned back to the lobby and entered Faz-Pad.
The small fusion cuisine restaurant had a menu listing things that would be sold every day and also had a jazz theme playing in the background. There were several people sitting there, some waiting for their order, others drinking coffee… and Glamrock Chica bouncing from table to table, rattling off all the ingredients they could get on their pizza.
''Of course, there is a debate whether one would want pizza with actual toppings on it or just the dough and sauce. Can you believe that? Mini-Pizza with no toppings? I mean, I would eat them regardless since it is pizza, but I would love to know what you think,'' Glamrock Chica said, clasping her hands as she smiled sweetly at the man and woman who just stared at her with a bewildered look.
The employee who was working at the Faz-Pad noticed Sam and Springtrap standing at the entrance, mouthed ''HELP!'', pointing at Glamrock Chica. It was obvious that she wanted them to remove her from the restaurant. The patrons were mainly adults and clearly not in the mood to talk to an excited chicken who promoted food that wasn't even on the menu. Sam just sighed, feeling a bit like a babysitter for the Glamrocks.
''Hey, Chica! We were just searching for you!'' Sam called out for the white chicken, with Chica being quite happy to see her. She quickly approached them.
''Really? What do you need me for? Should I go to the kitchen?'' she asked.
''Actually, I've been wondering why you weren't at the Mazercise,'' Sam said, gesturing to Chica to follow her.
''Oh, I've already gave my speech there and decided to move on and visit the other parts of the Pizzaplex to promote the food,'' Chica explained.
''Maybe you should promote food that it is actually being sold,'' Springtrap commented, with Chica giving him an irked look.
''The Pizzaplex sells pizza, therefore no matter which area I am in, I can talk about our primary dish,'' Chica replied, placing her hands on her hips as she stared at Springtrap. Sam quickly intervened.
''I think you would get more people to listen to you if you go to the Atrium. After all, that's where the main food court is,'' she pointed out.
''I had planned to do that once I was done with Faz-Pad. Do you want to come along?'' Chica asked.
''Maybe later. I still need to check on Roxy and Monty,'' Sam replied.
''Well, last time I saw Roxy, she had told me she wanted to give some children a makeover at the Glamrock Beauty Salon,'' Chica told her.
''Thanks for the heads up. We'll see you later,'' Sam replied, waving at Chica as she and Springtrap made their way towards Roxy Raceway.
''Is it just me or is Glamrock Chica way too obsessed with pizza?'' Springtrap asked. ''At least in comparison to Showtime Chica.''
''Well, we were told that her food obsession is one of her main traits. I suppose nobody thought to tone it down,'' Sam replied.
''This will become problematic in the future,'' Springtrap noted. ''She might start to force people to eat pizza.''
''Well, I wouldn't be surprised, considering what Fazbear Entertainment's policy is,'' Sam replied.
xXx
Matt took a deep breath, leaning against the wall somewhere at the Fazcade. For some reason, he had been pursued by the Map Bot and he tried to shake him off, but the latter managed to always find him. However, given how huge the Fazcade was, he was certain that the Map Bot wouldn't find him here.
Speaking of the Fazcade, it contained three floors connected with spiral staircases, with a bridge branching across the third floor, and numerous arcade machines. There were Japanese-styled karaoke rooms located on the third floor along with the security office. Located on the first floor was a big DJ arena and booth, which was manned by DJ Music Man.
''Woah!'' Matt had to admit that he was a bit shocked by DJ Music Man's sheer size. While he knew that DJ Music Man was the biggest animatronic out of all of them, this was something else. Matt had to admit that he looked quite intimidating, even though he was just jamming out to a techno tune peppered with guitar rifs that really fit the Fazcade's overall vibe. ''Maybe I should start with this place then? I did want to try out some of those arcade games.''
Matt started to walk around, observing the kids and teens who were glued to the arcades. He wondered which arcade game he should play first, noting that, while he was on a mission here, he figured that he should also enjoy himself a bit. However, as he passed through, he noted that something felt off. It took him a moment, but he soon realized that the techno tune changed. Sure, it was still similar, but this one felt more heart-pounding, as if was about to get hunted down.
''Please take the map! Please take the map!''
''Oh, damn!''
Matt turned around, panicking when he saw Map Bot barreling right towards him, his determination to give the teenager a map only boosted by what Matt came to recognize as the Map Bot's Boss Music, courtesy of DJ Music Man.
''Dude, leave me alone!''
Matt ran across the Fazcade, searching for the exit, with Map Bot following him, now feeling less like a helpful robot and more like a predator. As for DJ Music Man, he just kept jamming out to the new tune, having been inspired by the seemingly innocent events before him.
xXx
The GlamRock Beauty Salon was featured in a rocky desert area and had a barren interior. Inside it were multiple salon stations and a small stage for Roxanne Wolf, and outside, there was a play area with a ballpit, some boxes, and a swing set. Roxanne herself was inside the salon with a few little girls and boys, who wanted her to put some make-up on them.
''Of course, my fans are the best! Now, who is next?'' Roxanne said, having put the finishing touches on a little girl, her eyes covered in red eye-shadow and her cheeks now much redder. The girl looked quite happy, although her mother, who was standing nearby, rose an eyebrow at the excessive make-up.
''Hey, can you draw a robot on my cheek?'' a boy asked, with Roxanne nodding as she held up the brush.
''I can do you one better! Do you want me to draw your favorite animatronic?'' she asked, with the boy nodding in excitement, with Roxanne starting to draw a simplistic chibi version of herself with the make-up she had been given to entertain the kids.
Meanwhile, at the entrance to the beauty salon, Sam and Springtrap were just observing what was going on, with Sam commenting, ''Roxy seems to be really popular among the kids.''
''Honestly, I'm not surprised, but I assume that some people will wonder where Foxy is,'' Springtrap noted.
''Yeah, but that will be a problem Fazbear Entertainment will have to deal with,'' she said, beckoning Springtrap to follow her, as the next location she wanted to visit was Monty's Gator Golf. As they walked over there, Springtrap noted that, while Sam tried to keep a cheerful demeanor, she would fall silent from time to time, as if thinking about something serious, and her mood would darken.
''What's on your mind?'' he asked, with Sam turning to him as she snapped out of her thoughts.
''I was just wondering how long it will take until this turns into another Five Nights at Freddy's game,'' she said. ''From the notifications I've gotten, Fazbear Entertainment wanted to completely reboot the Freddy's Franchise, making sure to erase all of the animatronics that existed in the past – Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, the Classic Animatronics, the Toy Animatronics, the Circus Gang – basically everyone besides the Showtime Animatronics. However, the feeling I'm getting is that this is not a reboot, but just them restarting the same game they had been playing for over four decades. Sure, no one has been murdered, yet, but I have no doubt that we might have to deal with haunted animatronics once again.''
''Well, technically, you are already dealing with a haunted animatronic,'' Springtrap pointed out.
''I'm not counting you since you're from a different era,'' Sam replied.
''I suppose you're right, but I would disagree with you in regards to the statement that Fazbear Entertainment has completely erased their past, as they are still making light of it in their Help Wanted video game,'' Springtrap noted, only to stop as they passed by a particular hallway. He stared at the sign next to it. ''Not to mention, they literally made a museum dedicated to the past.''
Sam glanced at the hallway Springtrap was looking at, well aware that it was leading to an area at the basement level of the Pizzaplex that displayed replicas of old animatronics and props from previous restaurants, including Fredbear's Family Diner, all variants of the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Circus Baby's Pizza World, the Fazbear Fright attraction and even the location Henry and Mike had built before it got burned down. They hadn't visited it yet, as it was still under construction, but they planned on going there once it was done.
''Yeah, you're right, but still, they will never reveal the whole truth,'' Sam pointed out. Springtrap nodded in agreement. Sam then glanced at her smartphone, checking the time. ''We should move on. The Glamrocks will have their introduction concert soon, and I want to check on Monty and Freddy.''
The two picked up the pace, eventually arriving at Monty's Gator Golf. Surprisingly, there weren't too many people there, and even those who were there didn't appear to be too fond of Monty, clearly ignoring the alligator animatronic whenever he tried to approach them to interact with them. By the look on his expression, he clearly felt quite bothered by this.
''Hey, Monty!'' Montgomery looked up, surprised to see Sam running over to him. While he knew that she was mainly here to check on him, at this point he appreciated any kind of attention. ''How are you doing?''
''Eh, I could be doin' better,'' Monty replied, placing the golf club he was holding over his shoulder. ''Do you see any players 'ere?''
''I'm sorry that there aren't too many people here. I'm sure that traffic will pick up,'' Sam said, trying to cheer him up. However, Monty just waved her off with a gloomy look on his expression.
''I don't blame ye for this. I'm just not as popular as Freddy 'n his band,'' Montgomery replied. ''I just hope my attraction won't get shut down.''
''Fazbear Entertainment won't shut down an attraction just because of its lack of popularity on day one,'' Springtrap said, speaking from a strictly logical standpoint. ''Keep in mind, you are a brand new animatronic who hasn't been shown before. It will take a while for people to warm up to you.''
''Then what about Roxy? She's just as new as I am,'' Montgomery protested.
''Roxy was created as a replacement for Foxy, and she is heavily promoted as one of the band members,'' Sam stated. ''It is no surprise that people would be already used to her.'' She then gave Monty a confident smile. ''Hey, how about this? When I'm on break, I'll come over to play a round with you and you can then teach me everything about mini golf.''
''That sounds like a plan,'' Montgomery replied, perking up a bit as he realized that he might've had at least one loyal fan.
''Sam! Hey, Sam!''
Sam, Springtrap and Montgomery turned around, only to see Matt running towards her. He skidded to a halt, taking a moment to catch his breath.
''Matt, what's wrong?'' Sam asked, now alarmed when she saw her friend. ''Did something happen?''
''I… I need your help with the Map Bot. He won't leave me alone,'' Matt said, with Sam staring at him for a moment in complete bewilderment and confusion.
''What?'' she asked in a flat tone.
''Please take the map! Please take the map!''
The group's attention turned towards Map Bot, who just turned around the corner and was speeding towards them, waving around the map he was holding. He approached Matt, shoving the map into his face.
''I said I don't need one,'' Matt replied, backing away and giving Sam a pleading look. ''See? He just won't leave me alone. I don't want a map, but this guy has been following me all around this place to give me one. Com'n, you're the technician. Could you please fix him and make him stop following me?''
Sam stared at him for a moment, then sighed in exasperation. She thought that this was a case of an actual emergency, but it was actually a situation where the Map Bot showed once again his signature persistence.
''Matt, just take the damn map and he'll leave you alone,'' Sam told him, pinching the bridge of her nose. Matt, now feeling resigned to his fate, decided to take the map Map Bot was offering him. He then looked at Map Bot who, despite his unchanging expression, seemed to be way happier than before.
''I suppose that's-''
''Hi! Please take another map!'' Map Both suddenly popped right up in front of Matt, offering him another map. Matt gave Sam a bewildered look, while Springtrap just burst out laughing at seeing Matt's misery. Even Montgomery started laughing, thinking that this whole situation was actually genuinely funny. Matt, on the other hand, just frowned and gave them an annoyed look.
''Okay, now you're just being unnecessarily petty,'' Matt told Map Bot. The latter then stopped for a moment, and Matt could've sworn that the robot grinned at him in amusement, even though he had no mouth, before leaving the group.
''I guess that's now resolved,'' Sam said, turning back to Montgomery. ''Unfortunately, I still need to check on Freddy before the concert, but I promise I'll be back as soon as possible.''
Montgomery just nodded in response, knowing that he couldn't really blame his, currently, only fan for having to do her job, and while he rather would've wanted to keep her around at his own attraction, he knew that that wasn't possible.
''If you guys are going to play mini golf, maybe I could join in?'' Matt said.
''Really?'' Montgomery was surprised, but also pleased to hear that.
''Yeah… I actually wanted to try out the Fazcade, but the Map Bot kept following me around, so I couldn't do that. So long as I don't run into him again, I'll be happy to play with you,'' Matt said. ''Although, I would need a crash course in mini golf, since we didn't have any courses in New Harmony. Not that my parents would ever take me to one.''
''I'll be happy to teach ya everythin' I know,'' Montgomery said proudly.
''That's great!'' Matt nodded. Meanwhile, Sam glanced at her smartphone again.
''I'm sorry, but I need to go now to the Atrium,'' Sam said.
''I'll see you there later,'' Matt replied, deciding to stay a bit at Monty's Gator Golf, while Sam and Springtrap quickly left for the Atrium. However, just as they got there, they spotted Glamrock Freddy walking away from it.
''Freddy! Hey Freddy!'' Sam called out for the Glamrock Animatronic, who stopped for a moment, surprised to see her.
''Sam? It is nice to see you again,'' Freddy said happily, then glanced at the bunny animatronic who accompanied her. ''You too, Springtrap!''
''I assume that you're on your way to the elevator for your big performance,'' Springtrap said.
''I am. I had actually asked Chica to go ahead, and I hope Bonnie and Roxy will join us soon. We cannot start the concert with out them,'' Freddy told them, a shadow appearing over his face.
''Freddy, are you okay?'' Sam asked, feeling a bit concerned about Freddy.
''I am functioning perfectly fine,'' Freddy replied, trying to brush off her concerns. ''Although, I do feel a little nervous. This is our first performance and I want it to go as smoothly as possible. I do not want to disappoint anyone.''
''I'm sure that you'll do just fine,'' Sam cheered him up.
''Thank you for you for your support,'' Freddy replied, smiling at her. ''I should be going now. I hope you will enjoy the show!''
Sam and Springtrap observed Glamrock Freddy as he left, with Sam glancing at Springtrap. ''So, do you want to watch the concert or do you want to take a look around while everyone else is busy with it?''
''I had figured that I would stick by your side, for now. What do you want to do?'' Springtrap replied, with Sam noting how Springtrap just dodged her question.
''It would be better for us to do some investigation… but I really want to support Freddy and his friends,'' Sam said. ''Let's just hope that nothing bad will happen.''
''Yeah, let's hope that nothing bad happens,'' Springtrap repeated, nodding in agreement.
xXx
''Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Fazbear Entertainment would like you to put your hands together for the one, the only, Freddy Fazbear!''
Loud 80s rock music blared through the speakers as people cheered, with the platform on the stage rising and revealing the Glamrock Band in their full glory. Smoke and neon lights covered the stage, with Glamrock Bonnie, Roxanne Wolf, Glamrock Chica and the star himself, Glamrock Freddy, starting their concert. They started playing and dancing, with Bonnie, Roxy and Chica showing off their skills on the bass, keytar and guitar respectively, while Freddy ran up to the front with the microphone stand in his hand, punching the air to get the visitors even more hyped up. Cheers and chants errupted when he took the microphone off the stand.
''Welcome everyone to Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex!'' Freddy's voice boomed across the Atrium as the music still played. ''My name is Freddy Fazbear, and these are my friends, Bonnie, Roxy and Chica, and we are the Glamrock Band! We hope that you all are enjoying your time here!'' He paused for a moment for the people to respond, once again cheering and clapping for them. ''That is great to hear! I sincerely hope that you will continue to visit us, as we will always be here to entertain you! Let us start the party then!''
The Glamrock Animatronics then launched into their performance, with people singing along as much as they could. However, at the back of the Atrium, albeit close enough to get a good look at the stage, there was someone who had a different song on her mind.
Springtrap gazed at Sam, who stared intently at the stage. Instead of humming along with the rock song the Glamrock Band were performing, she was humming a different, more familiar tune – one that had been stuck in her head the whole day, and now that barely anyone could hear her, she felt safe to sing it to herself. It was Toreador March, a song every version of Freddy Fazbear would perform for the audience… save for Glamrock Freddy. Then, the lyrics followed…
''We're waiting every night to finally roam and invite newcomers to play with us, for many years we've been all alone...''
Springtrap was genuinely stunned when he heard the song after Sam introduced him to it. Someone from school has told her that a band called The Living Tombstone was making songs based on pop culture, and considering how popular the Freddy's Franchise was getting, especially with the Five Nights at Freddy's games, they decided to publish their own song and contribute to the popularity of the games.
''We're forced to be still and play the same songs we've known since that day. An imposter took our life away, now we're stuck here to decay…''
It was quite chilling just how accurate the lyrics were to the past events, all written in the belief that they just followed the game canon rather than any real life events. Of course, who would even believe the stories about the haunted animatronics?
''Please let us get in, don't lock us away, we're not like what you're thinking! We're poor little souls who have lost all control and we're forced here to take that role! We've been all alone, stuck in our little zone since 1987! Join us, be our friend, or just be stuck and defend, after all you only got–''
However, as Sam had put it now, this was just a Restart of another Five Nights at Freddy's video game. It was just another location, with another group of animatronics. There was a very real danger of the past repeating once again. So, all they could do now was to wait and observe. They could continue celebrating, but a shadow would fall over them, one stained by blood.
''Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's, oh…''
I never got around to writing the story but I do have an honest to god fnaf animatronic self insert.
This is Fey. She runs the Star Dome at the top of the Pizza Plex.
5’2”
Glows under black light
Has up to date knowledge of the solar system so she can provide fun facts during the shows.
Has fruity, star shaped hard candies that have pop rocks on the inside for a fizzy burst. (Think Zotz)
The Star Dome is an enormous, round room that is made entirely of screens. (Looks like one big screen but it’s many)
Rides in a UFO shaped control panel above the patrons heads
Some times the screens short circuit and electrocute guests (that’s covered in the waver)
The star dome has one or two video games programmed into it;’s system because it was originally going to be like VR gaming without the head sets but FazBear scrapped that idea in favor of a planetarium style attraction.
Fey is really good at the shooter game on the Dome’s system. (Uses it to get out frustration) ((this means she’s also killer at Fazer blast))
I had this whole plot line sketched out where Moon and Fey start off on the wrong foot and a prank war ensues. Eventually Fey steals Moon’s head and they end up entangled in the ball pit. Feelings are realized and they start avoiding each other until Sun’s decided enough is enough and locks them in a closet together. ((Sun and Fey have had a little romance going on through this whole thing))
The pranks:
Fey tweaks the fly motor so it goes just slightly to fast (Runs Moon into a play structure)
Moon scare Fey in the dark
Call me mr. Chuckles on a note taped to Moon’s back
Moon paints a face on Fey’s helmet
Fey swaps the Sundrops and Moondrops so the kids are hyperactive through nap time (she regrets this)
Moon restates the volume for the star dome too loud and sticks it there (just a bit too uncomfortable) ((he regrets this))
Stolen hat (chase ensues)
And below the cut is the small snippet that I did write out. I don’t know if I’ll ever actually pick this back up.
The star dome opened around a month ago in The Faz bear pizza plex. They situated it up on the 3rd floor by mazersize. Going through the doors, you enter a new world. The curved walls are all screens, and holograms are projected from several small devices hidden around the room. Everything working together to transport you into the depths of space, with stars and planets at your fingertips.
I was created to run the attraction from a little control deck that hangs from the ceiling disguised as a spaceship. I was humanoid in shape but only stood just over five feet tall. They had given me large, round eyes, short hair that was neon blue, and antennae with a cute little ball at the end of each stock. I was dressed in a purple jumpsuit, bright pink space boots, a neon green, fuzzy half coat, and a bubble space helmet. The helmet I only ever wore for guests, taking it off as soon as the closing announcement sounded.
Once parts and services had finished putting me together and powdered me on, they ran a few tests to ensure all of the data I needed had been properly uploaded and set me to work. The only reason that I had met the main four was because they came to greet me after hours on my first day.
Freddy had wanted to know if I was settling in alright and made me promise to come to him if I needed help with anything at all. Chica brought me some vibrantly colored cupcakes, even though I can't eat, and asked if I wanted to have a sleepover with her and Roxie sometime soon. Roxie brought me a signed photo and informed me that she would soon be my favorite. I met Monty last because he was standing at the back of the pack, and he just gave me a head nod when he was introduced, saying nothing.
Every night from that point forward, one or more of the four would come up to the dome once we were closed and ask if I wanted to hang out. I enjoyed chica's maze and racing on the raceway. I could get a few holes-in-one on the mini golf course, but my favorite thing was fazerblast. In every game we played, I was always the winner. No contest. I could even defeat Freddy himself. Being small was a definite advantage, and I was faster than everyone except Roxy. Luckily the others didn't get upset that I always won. They would either team up against me or try to take the number two spot, knowing they couldn't beat me.
I had been active for about a month when I finally asked about the Sun and Moon-themed characters on the walls in the prize hall. Out of sight, out of mind. I had meant to ask when I first saw them, space kinda being my forte, but we were just running through to get to the East arcade at the time, and I quickly forgot.
Chica and I were going through some new prizes that Faz had released. There were some new mermaid Chica plushies and some space toys that we wanted to get our hands on.
"I keep forgetting to ask. Who are these two clowns? I've never seen them around, but their pictures are scattered around the plex." Chica was elbows deep in a box of stuffed toys, sorting through the new merch.
"That's Sun and Moon. They run the daycare. Sun's a sweetie, but he hates leaving the daycare, and Moon's a bit of a grouch. He's around but would rather hang out in dark corners and spy on the goings-on than hang out."
I leaned against the counter, arms folded, and looked at the Yellow character on the far wall. That must be Sun. I scoffed
"Very creative names. We have a daycare?"
"Yeah! It's huge! It's connected to kid's cove, but the main entrance is in the lobby across from Faz pad."
"Ahh. Never been to the lobby… never had a reason to go down there."
"Well, that's why you've never seen them! You should go visit! They love getting visitors! Well, Sun does."
"Yeah… I think I will."
__________
I made my way down to the daycare the next night. Getting to meet two other animatronics that were also space themed? Yes, please!
The sign for the daycare on the lobby landing was small, but I was able to spot it easily. Pushing through the doors, I found myself in a dark hallway with a minor water feature and a much larger advertisement for the daycare painted on the brick wall.
"This is nice." Maybe I would come back here to think. It was quiet, and the water feature cooled the air nicely. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Once the daycare security gate lifted, I was bombarded with a happy preppy song playing over the overhead speaker. Everything was bright and colorful in this upper lobby. Walking further in, I noticed the slide in the far wall. A sign over the top read 'slid into fun!'
"Oh, cute!" The slide went straight into a ball pit in the daycare below. As fun as that looked, I didn't want my first impression to be fumbling around in a ball pit.
Vaulting over the partition, I made my way down the upper hallway, peering into the party rooms as I went. The murals painted on the walls were cute, but the rooms felt small and claustrophobic. Past the palm tree lights and down the stairs, I walked up to the set of massive wooden doors.
"Well… here we go." I pushed open the doors. It was enormous! Three play structures towered in the middle of the room, and colored mats covered the floors.
If my eyes could sparkle with amazement, they would be… maybe they were. I hadn't looked at my own schematics, and no one had bothered to tell me all of my functions. Only the ones that were important to my job had been explained to me, and even then, I still needed to figure out how everything worked on my own.
"Hooo! Hoo! Hoo!" Someone was on the balcony in the far wall. They jumped.
"NO-!" There was a splash of balls as the individual dove into the ball pit below. I sprinted across the playmats to look down into the ball pit for any sign of the animatronic. Were they okay? They have to be damaged from a fall from that height!
"Hello?"
"Heeeellooo!" I fell backward as balls exploded from the pit, a yellow animatronic bursting from the brightly colored balls.
"New friend! You're sure up late!" Coming over the bridge from the ball pit, he towered over me, yellow rays spinning. This guy had to be at least 7 feet tall, definitely taller than the main four.
"…Sun?" I asked timidity from where I was now sitting on the floor.
"Hoo! Ho! You have me at a disadvantage, friend!" Sun grabbed my hand and pulled me upright. There was a second where I was hanging in the air, tiptoes barely brushing the ground before I was set down. He held my hand momentarily to ensure I was steady before letting me go.
"I'm Fey. It's nice to meet you!" This large gangly individual still towered over me even while I was standing. I was used to the band's height, so it wasn't unnerving, but I hadn't expected him to be this tall. Taking a second to look him over, I thought it looked like that fall hadn't hurt him in any visible way.
"Fey. Are you new to the plex?"
Break My Mind: Ch. 5
~Coauthored by @zeitghest~
Fandom(s): Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach
Description: Gregory must be dreaming this time. No sooner had he come to accept this strange reality where everyone is alive and well, than he’s sent back through time and space to the weekend he got trapped in the Pizzaplex. He’s supposed to help his family get on track for a better future, yet… didn’t he already succeed in his own timeline? Confused but relieved, Gregory drops back into his new life in the mega mall. In fact, who should be waiting for him but Michael, clad in a security uniform and searching for his missing family! Only—the night guard seems a bit more withered than when Gregory last saw him. Not to mention that cold look in his silver eyes…
Rating: T
Read on Ao3
Gregory could feel himself coming to. Sorry muscles from the high-voltage shock might have killed a lesser boy, but the cursed Remnant in his veins would see to Gregory’s endless suffering. He couldn’t move; couldn’t even cry. This wasn’t any good…
Gregory could make sounds, though. Minute and pitiable whimpers of pain left his open mouth as the boy tried desperately to regain command over his limbs. By the time he could wiggle his toes, he was already in the raised security room overlooking Fazerblast. Once scribbled with Vanny’s frantic, insane ramblings, it was now notably sleek and cold. Adding to his inability to move were the straps tying Gregory’s wrists and ankles to a chair. The restraints were meant to hold animatronics at bay, so they were no match for a scrawny, tired kid.
“Oh? You awake now?” Michael’s voice sounded from Gregory’s left, impatient and mildly annoyed as usual. Moving in front of Gregory’s field of vision, he hopped up to sit on the security desk, legs swinging idly as he held what looked like a VR headset in his bandaged hands. “Took you long enough… I didn’t mean to keep the voltage that high, but I didn’t have much time to adjust it from stunning animatronics, so… my bad.”
The rotting zombie shrugged, as if this was a completely normal occurrence. A grin quirked up the side of his mouth that was still intact.
“Now we can get to the fun part, though!” He held up the headset, waving it back and forth like it was a toy he was trying to attract a cat’s attention with. “I’ll admit I’m excited try this out on someone as strong-willed as you, but I’ll give you one more chance now that you don’t have the others whispering in your ear: are you going to join me or not? You’ll do what I say regardless—it’ll just determine how much harder you want to make this whole thing for you.”
He tilted his head inquisitively, half-permanent grin revealing stark white teeth reflected in the neon lights. “So what’ll it be, Gregory?”
Based on Gregory’s aching head and rattled bones, he had an inkling that Michael wasn’t particularly sorry. The headset he swayed back and forth only served to send his nerves sky high. Although the shiny looking video game console may have been used for fun once, Gregory could only surmise that it served a dark purpose now.
And this ultimatum?
Gregory faced down the wrath of his foster family’s physical tortures. He’d wrestled an animatronic gator in the dark; survived a racecar crash and fallen one story down into the basement; nearly been ripped to shreds by almost every once-friendly animatronic in the Pizzaplex… He wasn’t a weak child anymore, and Gregory deluded himself into being able to resist whatever Michael planned for him.
“Go fuck yourself!” he shouted, rattling his restraints like a feral animal, hoping to jimmy something loose. “I don’t care what you do to me! Just leave everyone else alone!”
It mattered not what happened to him—it was the people in this timeline that depended on him, even if they didn’t even know it.
“Spunky,” Michael remarked, his voice tinged with approval. “That’s exactly why I needed you… you know, if my brother had a fraction of the amount of spine you do, I think we would’ve gotten along so much better.”
His gaze was distant, thinking over all that was and all that could’ve been. After a moment he let out a little sigh and looked back to Gregory.
“Oh well—can’t change the past, after all.” He sounded far too excited now as he hopped off the desk, the cables of the headset dragging along the floor. “Now be a good boy and put this on; it’s just a little subliminal messaging to make you see how great it is to be on my side!”
Gregory wasn’t strong enough to fight off the remnants of the taser, the restraints, and the zombie hell-bent on brainwashing him. He still put up a damn fuss though, and it took Michael longer than he wanted to secure the headset and earpieces.
“We’ll see how you feel after twenty minutes, you little shit,” he hissed, turning to the computer hub. With a few clicks of a button, the monitor lit up so Michael could watch and assure his influential demo worked just as intended. Sitting down in a swivel chair, he crossed his hands over his lap and grinned.
No amount of head bobbing would work. Michael quickly caught the back of Gregory’s skull with the strap and snapped the heavy goggles over his eyes. He could try to close his eyes, but the sounds…
A deep and rumbling bass followed by incomprehensible noises—voices? Gregory couldn’t escape the subliminal audio piercing his psyche. Still, he put up a solid fight. For the first five minutes, Gregory wouldn’t stop trying to knock the headset loose. He filled the air with empty promises as he struggled.
“As soon as they get me out of here, you’re DEAD! I’m gonna kick your stupid zombie ass!” He still had hope that he wouldn’t succumb; that his friends were merely backed up and on route to his rescue.
Five minutes turned to twelve…
Gregory had stopped his reckless thrashing, having opened his eyes now to the screen ahead. Incomprehensible—the visions were off-putting and made him recoil uncomfortably. He began murmuring to himself, hoping to be saved still. Torrid and intrusive thoughts were bombarding his aching mind. By the time the program had shut off automatically, Gregory’s head was lolled to the side. He was overcome with a sense of exhaustion and impotent rage. It boiled beneath the surface
But he couldn’t remember why he was so mad in the first place. The confusion only served to fuel this quiet anger.
“Wow, time sure flies,” Michael remarked as the monitor went dark, giving the chair a little spin before hoisting himself out of it. With surprisingly deft fingers, he slipped off the goggles and earbuds. Gregory looked very out of it, blinking slowly as if unsure what was happening.
“Good sign, good sign…,” the psychotic zombie murmured, setting the equipment down. He then gently lifted up Gregory’s chin, snapping with his other hand to get the boy’s attention. “Hey there, Greg—and how are we doing? Still feeling rebellious, or are you willing to listen to your good friend Mike now?”
Gregory winced, irritable, but feeling as though that was irrational. The sound was messing with him a little and he batted his head at Mike’s hand.
“Quit it…,” he grumbled, looking around the room like he just woke from a midday nap. He blinked his dilated eyes, large silver spots finally landing on Mike.
“What’s up? What? Why are you in my face?” he said, having some attitude but otherwise not protesting Michael being close to him. “Is this what you do to people who just wake up? Jerk...”
“Aww, what a sweetheart,” Michael cooed ironically. “Seems not even your righteous attitude could resist a major adjustment.”
Stepping back, he lifted his Fazwatch and pressed a button, speaking low into the mic so the fresh brainwashing wouldn’t get messed up by the kid remembering his other friends were in danger. “Monty—report. How are the old bastards?”
“Down for the count!” the gator’s cheery voice came through. “Not gone, though—can’t seem to turn ‘em off even though they’re pretty wrecked… But they ain’t gonna come after you again anytime soon, boss.”
“Perfect,” Michael hummed, a sly grin spreading across his face. “Freddy, how about you?”
“I am still downstairs with Charlie,” the bear responded. “Her companion attempted to save her, but I locked her in the protective cylinder and disabled the interior emergency exit button, so she is no longer a threat.”
“I knew you were always the smart one; bring Charlie up and join the others. I want them to see how pointless all their stupid efforts have been.”
Instructions given, Mike clicked off the watch and moved to Gregory’s side again. He began undoing the restraints, watching the boy closely for signs he was faking the mind-control… but his wide, unfocused eyes said otherwise; he was well and truly under Michael’s subliminal spell. He put up no resistance as Mike lifted him into his arms, instinctively clinging around his neck to keep steady as the murderer walked back to the main atrium.
In another universe, this embrace would be one of familial comfort. Now though, with Michael’s hand gripping the back of Gregory’s shirt as a subtle threat not to try anything—though he didn’t think the kid would—it was something else entirely.
Gregory had a sour expression on his face. The instinct was something he couldn't fight, but he held tightly onto Mike, even cradling his head against the man's shoulder like he trusted him completely again. Gregory's skull was pounding, and Michael was talking far too loud for him to really even process the things he was saying. Something about people coming...
“Tell them to fuck off; I want to go back to El Chips,” Gregory muttered, becoming quite the brat in the span of twenty minutes. He held his bandaged arm to his chest, finding himself looking down at it.
How did he even break his wrist?
Gregory was having a hard time recalling. It all felt like a blur, hurting his brain the more he thought on it. They had some time together while the others gathered all the broken pieces of Gregory's friend's. All he kept coming back to was knowing he didn't want to see anyone.
“I know, I know—you’re a loner like me,” Michael soothed, relaxing his grip on the boy’s shirt the more he clung.
Like the little brother Michael always wanted…
He really did look so much like Evan—maybe Gregory could be a better version. One more suited to Michael’s tastes, who snipped at people just like his big bro when times got tough instead of finding a table to cry under.
“We’re just gonna say a quick hi and bye to a few folks, then we’ll get you a snack,” Michael continued as they stepped out of Fazerblast. He could see a group gathered near the main stage: the Glamrocks and what looked to be various pieces of rotten, golden fur and random bits of internal mechanisms scattered around the floor.
Gregory sighed acceptingly at this, huffing a lock of hair away from his eyes and rolling them dramatically. “O-kaaaay...”
Gregory trusted his bandaged hand into Michael's equally wrapped one as he was set down, surprisingly using the broken one to hold onto him with. It was a bit odd how the pain no longer bothered him—though may just be a clever part of his programming now. He walked with some energy now that he was up and moving, the fog clearing from his brain as he looked around.
“What's with all the garbage laying on the floor?” Gregory asked.
That wasn't even the most interesting part, either. The girl sobbing hysterically on stage, held up in a submissive hold by Freddy soon pulled his eye from the rotting parts scattered across the floor. Gregory watched, cocking his head before a little chuckle left his lips. As they approached, he whispered to Mike: “What a fucking baby. Isn't she, like, way too old to cry like that?”
“Couldn’t have said it better myself, Greg,” Michael said with a swell of demented endearment—oh yeah, he liked this kid even better now. He gazed up at the girl with a scathing look. “Charlie, shut the fuck up; your sobbing is annoying as hell.”
“Gregory…?” A faint, almost disembodied voice sounded from the other side of the room. Monty was quite literally sitting on the mangled chest of the golden Freddy animatronic, and he gave the bear a kick when he spoke.
“Can it,” the gator hissed, then gave a slight twitch. There was something in those old, ratty suits… something dead and festering that his messed-up computer brain couldn’t comprehend. However, thanks to Mike the Glamrocks' human safety protocol had been disabled long ago because of his own questionable appearance, so all they could do was try their best to ignore the weird bodies. At least with the guard here they had a welcome distraction.
“Oh god… Gregory, no…,” Henry moaned, barely able to see the kid from the half-slumped position of his head. With the way they were holding hands like best friends, it was clear that Mike had gotten to him. “God damn it Michael, why?!”
The zombified man gave a scathing laugh and answered simply: “Why the fuck not?”
William looked up from his spot on the stage, his bent neck crooked towards the pair. He was silent as Charlie tried to reign in her sobs at poor Gregory. Michael had ruined the one good thing they'd found in a while. It was clear that, at least for now, the Gregory they knew was dead and gone.
When he saw Monty kick at Henry, William tried to drag himself to his side in a futile attempt to help him, though was quickly pinned by Roxy's foot.
“Where do you think you're going, dust bunny?” she snarled, feeling whatever squishy mass on the inside deflate with her heavy paw.
Gregory waved to the animatronics, not minding their senseless need for violence now. He swung Michael's hand lightly, wrist cracking as he forced the fractured bone to keep move as he watched his friends’ torture without empathy, or any real emotion attached. The perfect little psychopath...
“You sick, fucking bastard... You can't just keep ruining people's lives because you're bored!” Charlie sobbed, trying to lift her legs now and kick out of the hold she was in when she saw that they were continuing to hurt her father and William. “YOU'RE A FUCKING COWARD, MIKE! You have your shitty little puppets doing all the work for you!”
Gregory yawned, leaning into Mike as he was quickly losing interest in whatever these clowns were yammering about. “Speaking of bored...”
“Puppets?! PFFT—” Michael burst into laughter, doubling over and clutching his stomach with his free arm. “Oh my god, Charlie, I forgot you were so funny! That's rich coming from you...”
“She's right, though,” Henry chimed in. He was all but a pile of squished faux fur and metal thanks to Monty anyway; might as well prod Mike's disturbed psyche for the hell of it. “You think you're so amazing, but you can't do anything without help.”
“Um, excuse me—” Michael's eyes narrowed as he whirled on the decrepit bear. “—who the hell do you think made Gregory so much more likeable? Me—by myself.” He huffed, glancing down at the boy in question. “Alright, I'm bored, too. We can head for El Chips in a sec, but first...”
He looked at all his captives with an inquisitive hum. Henry and William were as good as done for; there was no fun to be had for Gregory tearing them apart right now. Puppet was still trapped downstairs, though Michael wanted to work with the kid a bit more before exposing him to that slippery thing, anyway. So that left only one member of his former party to test the boy's metal on.
“Gregory,” Michael crooned, giving his hair a ruffle. “Look how mean Charlie's being to our dear Freddy—she's about to snap his legs with all that writhing!” His eyes flashed, dark and silver, eager to see just how far his power of suggestion could go. “So why don't you break hers first?”
Charlie went silent for a moment, eyes widened considerably as Gregory looked to be mulling it over.
“Gregory, no! What the fuck?! How could you even be considering that?!” she demanded to know through her tears.
Gregory put a hand on his chin, releasing his grip on Michael and watching as William spoke up in a painful rasp. “Don't... Hurt... Them...”
William had clearly failed at keeping Michael from doing just that, failing his own promise to Henry that he wouldn't mess up with Charlie again. Yet here he was, begging for their wellbeing in a pathetic position prone to the stage floor. Nothing seemed to get through to Gregory, because he had ignored them both in favor of looking to Mike.
“Well, I mean, I need like a hammer or a wrench or something. I don't think I could break them on my own,” he said in a practical manner, sending chills down William's spine as he heard such an utterance. Gregory's only concern was for his best friend not to see him as weak for requesting a weapon. He seemed to perk up a little and gasped. “Oh—if I had a monkey wrench that’d be perfect! 'Cause they have that hard knob on the end and everything!”
Gregory’s watch uttered a short beep, though this was drowned out by Michael’s own little gasp.
“Oh, you’re so right!” The guard pressed a hand over his heart, looking down at his newfound protégé with the closest thing to “affection” he’d been able to muster in decades. Not quite willing to leave Gregory alone with the others and their tricky words yet, Michael again held out a hand. “Come with me—I know I have a spare toolkit in the security office that’s got to have what we’re looking for.”
The boy took his palm without hesitation, but when Michael started pulling him along, the oddest thing happened. It seemed like Gregory was trying to follow, but his hand just sort of… slipped out of Michael’s grasp.
No, not slipped out of it—slipped through it.
The watch beeped again, more insistent this time. The tiny screen was blinking a bright, warning red, and a line of scrolling text ran across it in all caps.
WARNING: TIMELINE COMPROMISED… INITIATING EMERGENCY RESET. PREPARE FOR REFRESHED LOOP IN THIRTY SECONDS.
Each time the text completed its round, a few more seconds were shaved off, counting down to zero.
“W-What the fuck?! Gregory, what’s happening? Where are you going?!” Eyes wide with confusion, Michael tried to get ahold of him to no avail. He and the others could only watch as the boy literally faded away before their eyes. Michael made one final desperate grab, when suddenly in a blink… Gregory was gone.
Almost as if he’d never been there at all.
***
There might have been panic on the end of Gregory’s friends when witnessing such a thing, though not for long. With the help of the little invention in his wrist, the past harrowing day would be unwritten…
Gregory reached for Michael, the first sign of true and genuine emotional distress since coming out of his brainwashing. He tried desperately to grab onto his arm, but felt himself slipping further and further as his friends’ voices faded into oblivion. It was as fast as a blink—but so much scarier. As Gregory’s subconscious untethered, coming back to him in waves, he processed what he was about to do to Charlie—
And in this strange, blank space between time, he up-chucked chips and queso into the scattered quantum winds.
Gregory felt befouled. He never considered himself a person of great moral backbone before, but that whole experience taught him how far people like he and Michael could fall, not to mention how easily. It was a lesson he wouldn’t soon forget.
Everything was reset; an opportunity not afforded to most. As his watch began to count down a second time, Gregory tried hard to regain his composure. The cold sweat now sticking to his forehead and neck made him clammy and nervous-looking.
And who would blame him with the timeline he’d been subjected to? He still had to save them somehow; to put them on the right track and make everything right.
As his watch flashed and pulled him back to the cursed universe, he his optimism began to wane. What if things only got worse this time around?
…They could be worse—but they could also be so much better.
Gregory had gone into this universe blind, unaware of who to trust—and more importantly, who not to. He’d made some mistakes; ones with unforeseeable consequences that the universe simply couldn’t handle. But he had another chance now, a new opportunity to do things the right way. He knew who his allies were, and he could take more steps to help them… and if he failed another time, he’d simply reset and try again.
Trial and error; that’s what his immortal life was now until he saved every version of his friends he needed to.
***
As before, the boy landed with a hard smack on the dusty, carpeted floor of the West Arcade. As before, the lights were dim and desolate, reflecting the darkness of this timeline even before Gregory’s intervention. As before, a smooth, accented voice called out from nearby.
“Gregory?! Is this where you’ve been all night? I’ve been looking for you for hours!”
I have a feeling Puddle Creature would approach FNAF like watching Star Wars in release order. And then completely ignoring the Phone Guys and such because they’re too boring.
To show what I mean by sort of being in-character…
(And I’m putting this under a cut so you can prepare to have your head spin..)
FNAF 1 - Guy named Mike Schmidt takes a creepy six-day job, then gets fired. The animatronics “working” there are confused and bummed out afterwards… Unless we’re talking about the Angry Yelling Yellow Bear, then he’s just happy he gets to sleep again.
FNAF 2 - Guy named Jeremy “Fritz-Gerard” takes the same job, but he’s in the 80s. Everytime the animatronics scare him, they knock him out and show their past involvements with some magenta-and-purple-wearing guys. He doesn’t get fired, but he does retire in the 90s or something. Meanwhile, some other Fritz gets fired for messing with 10-ish animatronics at once.
FNAF 3 - Meanwhile, in Present Day Somewhere-Ville, a robot-bunny named “Spring-Trap” plays tricks on another guard. He doesn’t give out any hints about his past, but the arcade 3Guard plays at home does. That arcade might’ve been by five sad ghosts that vanished after he played… Doesn’t explain the “Bad Ending”, but oh well.
Oh and one of the Purple Guys turned into Springtrap, but that’s probably not as important as you might think. Probably.
FNAF 4 - In a different part of Somewhere-Ville, a random kid gets hunted by monsters at night. Then bullied by his older brother at dawn. Then he’s bitten by Angry Yellow Bear’s brother on his birthday. Yellow Bear’s “son” (Yellow Bear Jr.), however, promises to fix him… Though we never learn how.
FNAF 5/Sister Location - A guy named Eggs Benedict is a technican at a brand-new pizza robot rental service. He fails after getting thwacked by a huge claw on his fifth night there. This… somehow turns him into a zombie? That throws up gray spaghetti??
Also, another guy named Michael Afton tells his dad that he freed his lost sister from… somewhere— But nearly lost his life while doing that. Michael is not happy, and neither are Elizabeth and The Board Member of Somewhere-Ville Technology— Who might’ve been kept from some terrifying secrets Mr. Afton had.
FNAF 6/Pizzeria Simulator - Somebody opens up a new Freddy’s that somehow hasn’t gone wrong… Until an angry cassette player sets everything on Saturday. The casette might be haunted by a very angry manager from the ‘80s.
At least those mean robots from FNAF 3 and 6 are gone now?
UCN - Uhh… A scaredy-cat plays with Freddy’s ‘Ultra Cybernetic Network’ while a red crocodile and Angry Yellow Bear talk about him. They… might be ghosts trapped in another arcade game??
Help Wanted 1 - Freddy’s finally got its act together! Yay! They’ve even made a VR game to celebrate.
Too bad the guy from Ultra Cyber Network might’ve put a rabbit-looking bug in the system.. Or it’s Springtrap’s fault. Either one.
Security Breach - A boy called Gregory gets lost in Somewhere-Ville’s Freddy Pizza-Plex Mall. The Freddy there helps, but nobody else does— Not even this Security Guard named Vanessa.
Also there’s two rabbits named Vanny and… Springtrap but Burnt? One is mean and chases after you while the other one stays behind and calls for help from his “friends”. Freddy doesn’t like Springtrap, which is understandable.
It’s a Choose-Your-Own thing, so there’s no real ending… Well, apart from Gregory escaping.
Ruin - A year later, a girl named Cassie gets called into the mall by “Gregory”. She’s hunted down by Springtrap’s ‘Friends’ (and a blue hare that kinda looks like Purple Guy, with that huge smile…?) until she makes it to the basement. Then she realizes that it’s not Gregory, runs for it, and then… uh..
Either she falls down an elevator or she gets stuck down there. Either way, she’s turned into a ghost for sure. It’s just a guess of how and when.
Help Wanted 2 - Rabbit Bug gets squished by Vanny. That’s the only surprise here. Everything else is just training stuff for Freddy’s or some Freddy-type carnival rides…
OH WAIT. YOU FINALLY BECOME A GHOST AND HAUNT AN ARCADE MACHINE.
FINALLY, THAT PLOT THREAD PAID OFF.
(ahem)
Anyway..
The Story as Puddle Sees It: Freddy’s has a history of ghosts haunting arcade games, broken machines, and bears making messes of things. Most guards either quit or—if you’re Eggs—get turned into zombies with severe spaghetti allergies. Freddy’s has been refusing to shut down, but they might just have to resort to supplying Carnival rides to state fairs at this point. Yay?
Oh and in case you’re wondering about the not-guards:
Michael Afton is still looking for his dad.
Springtrap is messing with Freddy’s somehow.
Yellow Bear Jr. and Bullied Boy have long disappeared.
Elizabeth and The Board Member are probably gonna team up with Michael soon… If Elizabeth wasn’t a ghost trapped in a game, that is.
Mr. Afton is retired and has no clue what’s going on with Freddy’s anymore
Angry Yellow Bear and The Crocodile are still laughing at Ultra Cybernetic Network Guy
Ultra Cybernetic Network Guy still can’t beat Jeremy’s “number of animatronic tampered” record from the 80s.
The Hare is sad he didn’t catch Cassie. And that he’s still trapped in a box in the basement.
Cassie is sad because there’s no arcade machines to haunt (don’t blame her).
Gregory is sad that Not-Gregory is wreaking havoc after trapping Cassie.
Vanny and Vanessa are probably arguing with each other about the Rabbit Bug.
Magenta Guy is nowhere to be found. He probably got arrested?
The Arcade Ghosts from 3Guard’s house are at peace now. They’ve told their story, so now they can move on.
Oh and Mr. Cassette got his daughter back. Dunno which arcade cabinet she was hiding in, but at least she’s free now.
TL;DR: Puddle would assume the ghosts are in the arcade machines, not the animatronics… Among other things.
#fnaf fandom#original character#puddle creature#interpretation#my head hurt from typing the Puddle Creature FNAF interpretation#maybe this could be an AU?
WILLIAM AFTON RANT
So, I do like most of the Five Nights at Freddy's series. The series had its highs and lows, and has really evolved from being the point-and-click survival horror game in 2014. The first game is pretty solid; the second is good; third, kind of a drop in quality. The fourth one was the one I legitimately did not like because it through a monkey wrench towards speculating on the timeline. Sister Location was the tipping point where we get more bits of the lore to chew on. Pizzeria Simulator, to me, was the perfect way to wrap up the mainline games by burning it all in a blaze of glory with heavy drops on the lore with character revelations and the finality of it all. VR...not much of a fan on because it brought back a recurring element that I felt the games knew when to cut ties with. It being the main antagonist of the series William "Purple Guy" Afton. I should probably state that the first problem with the Afton story line had to be the fact FNAF didn't start off with an overarching story. Scott Cawthon developed the first game as a last hoorah when he felt that his dream of becoming a game developer was through. But, luck would have it, the game blew up in popularity namely because of let's players like Markiplier playing the game and the rest is history. The first FNAF game was relatively simple: survive five nights at a pizzeria where you'd have to conserve your power and check the screens all while trying to keep homicidal animatronics from stuffing you into a suit. A very, very simple plot where you did not have to think too much on. That is not to say that there weren't any hidden secrets in the first game: there are occasional newspaper clippings of reports on five children being led into the back rooms by a man dressed up in a mascot costume. They were never seen again, and the animatronics started to reek from mucus and other fluids suggesting that the kids were killed and stuffed into animatronic bodies and possessed them. Beyond that, there was not much to chew on or speculate about. Which would become an issue with Afton himself. To say that he really evolved over the course of the series is an understatement. From the games he goes from: a nameless serial killer; the CEO of Afton Robotics; an undead rabbit animatronic who was burned; an even more horrid-looking rabbit who gets burned (again); and eventually becomes a computer virus. The dude is seriously a supervillain at this point. Not helping that we then are given information on remnant which is at best a glue trapping souls. I hated that remnant was introduced to the series largely due to over-complexity. Simply saying that the Puppet brought the animatronics to life by having them possess the animatronics is simple enough: explaining remnant is as bad as when midchlorians were introduced to explain how the Force worked. Which goes into... Afton. Keeps. Fucking. Coming. Back. I get that it was a nod to the "He will come back. He always does. We have a place for him" tagline from the third game, but this is getting ridiculous. I'll be frank when I say that Afton is not a good villain. For starters, even when we get more insight to him being the CEO of a robotics company and arguably the worst father in gaming, we have no clue what his motivations actually are. Sure, you could claim that he wanted to achieve immortality as revealed in the Silver Eyes and its two sequel books, but ignoring them entirely, virtually nothing is there to pin in the games. Or is it that he wanted to resurrect the Crying Child from FNAF 4 on the assumption that the CC is his son? So it would mean that all of his actions were the results of him experimenting around with technology and remnant? It looks like he was already a psycho killer as evidenced by him describing the designs of Circus Baby to his interviewers. Even with that idea, it was always weird that if the Crying Child was in fact an Afton then why is it so explicit unlike with Michael and Elizabeth who are both confirmed as his children. With me, I did actually think the Crying Child was likely
Henry Emily's child going off the SN books with Cassidy; as in, William, for whatever reason, liked Henry's boy (and gave him the purple phone to conduct experiments on him with the Nightmare Animatronics), and secretly created replacements each stage representing a point in the CC's life. But then that would only complicate things like explaining the whole "I will put you back together" line and if Michael knew about the sudden appearance of a robot in his life, but that is straying from the main topic. So, yeah. Afton is a total enigma whose motivation for what he does is unclear. At most, you could say he kills kids because he's evil. Okay. Not a satisfactory answer, but from the sprites in the game, he always has a smile on his face. It wouldn't be that much of an issue if he was at the least interesting. But he is not. Afton is no Freddy Krueger or Chucky; even Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees have better characteristics and the latter two don't even talk. If anything, Afton's main flaw is that whatever his motivation was gradually changed as the games continued to evolve, but it came at the cost of making him an OP villain who keeps reappearing making him shoe-horned into the plot of the game when he does not belong. Makes me really wish that Vincent was made canon. You remember Vincent, right? He was an interpretation of Afton made years before the name drop. He was a homicidal maniac who was laidback and evil. Yet, he was a hilarious character and was full of personality. Like take Security Breach. Taking Glitchtrap (who may be his virtual ghost or something relating to him), the game's focus should have been entirely on Vanny. But even then, Vanny is not her own antagonist due to her basically being implied as a "reluctant follower" of Afton's which by itself makes Afton hijack the game instead of making good with a new threat. And then Afton of course comes back this time as Burntrap which pisses on the ending of Pizzeria Simulator which causes Cassette Man's goal of putting an end to the horror all for nothing. But even then, the bastard had survived burning alive at least twice leading me to think that remnant being destroyed by heat is total BS. Afton had no reason to be in Security Breach making his appearance shoe-horned. He of course has to have wrangle the plot of the game over and make it all about himself yet again. And he doesn't even do anything eventful there because the Blob just catches him and takes him away. I sure hope that finally, finally this means that Afton is dead for real and we could move on to making a new main antagonist unrelated to the Afton family, but I doubt it. Don't get me wrong: the Afton family story line plays a crucial role in the lore of the franchise and I feel that just having a basic game about surviving animatronics would not make the series last for as long as it did. But, besides theories and speculation, really what more can we expect to get from the story? We have threads of a story there, but the series prefers to leave some details vague. It is JJ Abram's mystery box all over again further showing that there were no long-lasting plans for the franchise. The series itself also took on a more science fiction aesthetic which further compounds a bloated story. It was already a willing suspension of disbelief that the animatronics were advanced enough to walk around in the 1980s, but now, we have remnant as a concept and the alternate continuity books where they take nosedives with how high-tech the animatronics are and overcomplicating a simple story of kids possessing animatronics to get revenge on their killer. Are those moments still scary? Yes, but I feel trying to explain the mechanics behind it lessens the intended effect. Ultimately, my problem with Afton lays solely on how he was written as a nameless killer in the first game with no foreseeable larger goal beyond that. As the series continued, Afton was forced to evolve, but as a consequence, Afton's motivations behind his actions are underdeveloped being reliant on the books and fan
theories. He lacks interesting traits and characteristics besides "I kill kids because I am evil." But worse, Afton continuing to return to the games despite constant burn attempts makes him an invincible villain which lessens the stakes and makes any actions to put a stop to him meaningless.
Repost from amino for my friend who doesn't have it
My amino profile is http://aminoapps.com/p/4rk5jr
This post is my theory on what's really going on in Fnaf 4, this game's plot is quite the thing to try and solve and some of you are bound to disagree with my take, and that's okay! Just please remember to remain civil if you take issue with any of the points I make here.
The Theory
There is More Than an Illusion to Fear
Evidence
• In Night 3 of Sister Location we are tasked with repairing Funtime Freddy, while we work on him we get a look at his "power module", however, it is suspiciously similar in appearance to the description of a device called an illusion disc from The Twisted Ones novel. The animatronics that use these discs are given descriptions that are also very similar to the Funtime animatronics as a whole. We know that the Funtimes were designed to lure and disorient children so having Illusion discs to aid in that purpose would make alot of sense.
•In Ultimate Custom Night the character Nightmare Fredbear has a voiceline that goes like this; "This time there is more than an Illusion to fear." This line implies that the nightmare animatronics in FNAF 4 were illusions, but in UCN they are not. While this could be interpreted as meaning they were just dreams before I think the specific use of the word illusion is something of note.
•Thanks to the private room cameras and breaker room map layout we know that the FNAF 4 bedroom is a real place and that William likely monitored it. From the breaker room we can see that this building is connected to the private room with some sort of tunnel or vent, meaning the Funtimes could have access to the FNAF 4 house. The area being monitored suggests William was aware of this or possibly even caused it.
•In Five Nights at Freddy's AR the character Springtrap re-uses some old Nightmare lines from UCN, suggesting a connection between them. To add fuel to the fire in UCN we play as William and one of Nightmare's lines is; "I am your wickedness given flesh." This suggests Nightmare is literally a representation of William's evil.
• In the FNAF Survival Logbook on a page asking about recent dreams Michael Afton has drawn what appears to either be Nightmare Fredbear or Nightmare, I believe it is Nightmare, with him literally being his namesake, a bad dream Michael had about his past experiences in that bedroom.
• In FNAF VR Help Wanted there is an easter egg in the Plushtrap minigame where a Minireena can appear, this coupled with the breaker room map showing that the area is directly linked to Ballora Gallery could imply that Plushtrap is a Minireena in disguise.
•In FNAF Security Breach there are some hidden therapy logs that detail Vanessa's past, but something doesn't seem quite right. Vanessa's dad is named Bill in these tapes, however, Bill can be a nickname for William. In these tapes Bill manipulates his daughter into lying about her mother so he can win a custody battle against her. It is possible this was a story Glitchtrap told Vanessa that she used to avoid talking about her real issues out of fear of Glitchtrap. If this is the case then it's likely that it was Elizabeth who did this. If the afton's originally lived apart its possible this is how William got custody of the kids and why they'd be under his care in later events, like we see with him warning Elizabeth about Baby or Michael returning to William's home after each shift in Baby's Entertainment and Rentals. It's likely this custody battle happened after the death of the Crying Child explaining why in the fnaf 4 minigames he's living at his mom's house.
•In the graphic adaptation of The Twisted Ones Graphic Novel the unaltered appearances of two of the Twisted animatronics look similar to Funtime Freddy and Nightmare Foxy. The Twisted animatronics also end up in an underground Freddy's by the end of the book, located beneath Henry Emily's house. This is a pretty direct parallel to William Afton's house being above Baby's Entertainment and Rentals.
•In the novel The Fourth Closet the animatronic Circus Baby is seen using illusion discs to look like Charlie, one of the book's protagonists. Mangle is also seen using an illusion disc to look like Funtime Foxy, atleast in the graphic novel. (I haven't read the full novel but I'd assume this also happens in that.)
Flaws
• The Plushtrap hallway building isn't attached to Mrs Afton's house OR William's house, leaving Henry's as the only real option. However I think it's unlikely that William built a secret passageway to Henry's house without his knowledge.
•Not everything in this theory lines up perfectly, such as Nightmare Foxy becoming a plushie when properly dealt with. This would suggest it was either the plushie that had the disc or that it really was a dream. Another example would be the hospital room easter eggs.
Conclusion
It seems we've reached the end of this little theory of mine, I hope you enjoyed reading this and that you agree with it. If you have anything big to either prove this or debunk this feel free to calmly inform me.
maybe i'm just out of the loop, or both the story and the gameplay of fnaf:security breach was fucking dogshit. the best part of the game was watching freddy run up to you at high speed and shaking the earth around you because it was so incredibly goofy that it ruined any tension i was feeling. i still have no idea who gregory is or why he is at all important or even exists, why he was staying behind after hours, how he knew not to trust vanessa, why he climbed into an animatronic, vanessa was like completely absent almost when i was expecting so much more from her especially after her introduction in vr, i don't know why freddy wasn't trying to kill us, i think springtrap was thrown in there to kind of say to the original fans of the franchise 'hey look! look at this thing you remember!'.
like i think the franchise kind of definitively began to suck ass when vr came out. like help wanted was a good game but the retcon that every game before it was literally just an in-universe video game series made by scott the developer's proxy self-insert and that none of those previous experiences were technically real sucked. i was invested in those storylines so heavily and now i'm not even sure if any of it matters or if any of that lore content was even real. i hated what the inclusion of the vr game and vanny did to the story and it made it overcomplex and meta for no reason whatsoever. i mean i had a clue that scott had no idea what he was doing with the story and was retconning and going off the bat wherever he wanted and churning out these games because he was wildly unsuccessful beforehand because in general i don't think he's that good of a developer, but this takes the cake for 'we had no idea where we were going with this story but now we're outright telling you that we don't know what we're doing, we don't care about this product, give me forty dollars.'
the lore used to be that five kids were kidnapped and presumably killed in a freddy's restaurant in the 90's, similar to an incident in the 80's where there were around 10 kids who were killed, by a guy in a golden rabbit costume. the spirits of those children haunt the robots and you, the security guard (who may or may not be the son of the killer under various pseudonyms) must defend yourself against the robots every night because they think that you might be their killer. the killer experimented with the concept of immortality through his killings after the death of his daughter to one of his murderous creations, his daughter later killer her brother, and now the guy is also immortal following the spirits backing him into a corner after an attempt to cover his tracks in an old location. now, the entire thing is some big in-universe conspiracy theory based off of some crackpot indie games that ruined the franchise's reputation, some lady got infected with a literal computer virus and turned into a magical bunny woman who murders children who looks nothing like her predecessor, and we're not even sure if any of it is real or not. it's overcomplicated, and sure, the original story was overcomplicated too, but the vr and security breach overhauled and made it ten times worse with additions to the story and plot twists that i despise. the series should have died with golden freddy in 50/50 mode when their spirit was laid to rest finally.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Fazbear Frights: Dawko
Five Nights at Freddy’s
Fazbear Frights
Dawko
“Dawko’s new song is so goo- huh? What’s this?” Vincent said, looking at the screen as it made a glitching noise through his headphones. The screen then showed some type of plush that looked like Dawko. The plush had brown hair and white skin. It had a purple vest and bowtie with yellow gloves with stiches on them. “That is so cool! It looks just like Dawko! I hope I have enough money to get it.” Vincent said admiring the purple vest the plush wore. Vincent had loved plushies ever since he was a little kid. He had a ton of them and yet here was one of his favorite youtuber! Vincent looked at the clock. It read 8:55. “Guess I got to go to bed.” Vincent sighed, turning off his tablet. He put on some pj’s, brushed his teeth, and quickly combed his dyed purple hair. Then he got in bed.
Vincent woke up in dark room, at least he thought it was a room, he couldn’t tell. The “room” looked like one of those safe rooms he’d heard about while eavesdropping on some nightguards who worked at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. When his eyes adjusted to the darkness, Vincent saw a greenish door with a keyhole in it. He reached out his arm and touched it. The door opened easily. Vincent peered his head out of the door but was suddenly startled by two sets of lights. One pair of lights were both purple and the other pair had one light blue and one purple light. Vincent peered closer and realize that they weren’t lights but eyes. He fell backwards and inched away from the eyes, frightened. The “thing” with purple eyes moved towards him and pointed at him, then at the other set of eyes. It said in almost a whisper, “You are to become him...”
Vincent woke up sweating. What was that? Vincent thought to himself. He checked his clock. It read 11:55. “Gotta get up and play the “game” Vincent said, getting out of his bed. The “game” wasn’t just any game, it was a VR game. Vincent was a game tester for Fazbear Entertainment. Right now, he was testing a game called FNAF Help Wanted VR. Basically, the “game” was surviving the night just like the nightguards at Freddy’s did, only this was VR, so it wasn’t real. At least that’s what Vincent kept telling himself. He always got the feeling that someone was watching him while he played except the problem was, nobody was ever there. Not in the “game” and not in his house either. Vincent put on his uniform. It was a purple, of course, button-down shirt with a black tie. He wore black pants with a gray belt and some black shoes. He also wore a purple and gray hat like the nightguards wore except theirs's weren’t purple. Most of the nightguards wore blue but since Vincent was a game tester, and he liked the color, his uniform was purple, just like his skin and hair. Vincent put his hair in a ponytail then put on his hat and walked into his office to turn on the “game”. Once the “game” loaded, he put on the VR headset and went into the “game”. In front of him was a table. The table had a tv-looking thing that let you pick the different places the nightguards worked at. Beside it was a lever. Vincent pulled the lever and the familiar music started playing. On the other side of the tv was a tape cassette. He touched it and was brought into the tape room. He had collected 15 tapes so far. There were 16 in total. “One more to go” Vincent said to himself, not really liking the silence around him. He went out of the tape room and back to the table. He decided to play one of the “dark room” games. He touched the one with Plush trap in it. In this game, you had to use your flashlight and get Plush trap to the X before the timer ran out. If you didn’t get him to the X in time, Plush trap would jump scare you. Vincent looked and saw that Plush trap was on his chair like he normally as at the start of the game. He quickly clicked his flashlight off and waited until he heard running noises, then turned his flashlight back on. Plush trap was right in front of him, inches away from the X. Vincent turned off the flashlight, waited for the running noises, and then turned the flashlight back on. Plush trap was on the X, a couple seconds before the timer. Vincent breathed a sigh of relief, happy that he didn’t get jump scared. A present appeared in front of him and he turned the handle that was on it. A music box started playing and the present opened revealing a Dawko plush. “Huh? This is weird. I didn’t know Dawko plushies were in the “game” Vincent said confused. He picked it up and looked at it, the plushie’s blue and purple eyes staring at him. Vincent shrugged, deciding that it was supposed to happen. Then he went back to where the table was with the plush in his hand. He took off the VR headset and checked the time. It read 6:00. “Welp guess I’m done for the night” Vincent said. He felt something in his hand. He looked down and tried to see what it was. Vincent couldn’t make it out, it was too dark. He went to his room and turned on the light. In his hand was the Dawko plushie. “This can’t be real” Vincent said, staring at the plush with wide eyes. He closed his eyes and pinched himself. He opened his eyes again. The plush was still there. Maybe while I was playing the “game” someone got it for me? Vincent thought to himself. He sighed. “I shouldn’t worry about it after all its just a plush” Vincent said. He decided to make some mocha latte. He went into the kitchen, put the plushie on the counter beside him, and turned on the coffee pot. While he waited for his coffee, he noticed that there was a knife on the counter by where he put the plush. He picked it up and accidentally cut himself on his finger. It's just a small cut, nothing to worry about Vincent thought to himself. He gripped the knife, suddenly having an urge to stab something. He quickly put it down and the urge went away. That was weird, if I had it any longer, I probably would’ve killed someone Vincent thought nervously. He took his coffee off the coffee pot, hesitated, then grabbed the Dawko plush.
Later, he decided to go to Freddy Fazbear’s where the other nightguards worked. Maybe I can talk to them about this weird plush Vincent thought, looking at the plush as he opened the doors to the pizzeria. There were children running around, parents talking to one another, and of course the animatronics preforming. A boy with blonde hair bumped into him. “Sorry mister!” the boy said, running to catch up with his friends. Vincent smiled to himself as the young boy ran off. He sighed, then went to the office where the other nightguards were at. “Sup folks” Vincent said, as he approached them. “H-hey V-Vince...” Jeremy said. Jeremy was very shy and often stuttered a lot, but Vincent didn’t mind. He liked him just fine. Besides, he liked having someone to talk to during the day. The other nightguards looked at him, some quickly waved, then returned to their conversation. They didn’t like him very much and were always busy and rushing to get things done before 12:00 came. “W-what’s that?” Jeremy asked, pointing to the plush in Vincent’s hand. “Oh! Somehow this was in my house. I thought maybe you got it for me while I was playing the “game” Vincent said. “W-well that’s not f-from me V-Vince" Jeremy said. “Thats really weird... Wonder how it got in my house then because I don’t know anybody else except you” Vincent said confused. He started talking about the crazy dream he had and about the Dawko plush that was in the game and how it somehow ended up in his hand in real life. He didn’t tell Jeremy about the knife though. That might scare him Vincent thought to himself. “W-woah that’s w-wacky Vince. K-kind of creepy a bit t-too.” Jeremy said. “Yeah, it is” Vincent said. “W-well I’m g-going to go to o-one of the s-safe rooms to check t-things" Jeremy said. “I’ll come with you” Vincent said, grinning creepy. “A-alright V-Vince” Jeremy said. They walked through the safe room’s door, Vincent closing the door behind them. “H-hey Vince? D-Do you see the lights-? W-what are y-you doing?” Jeremy said, nervously. “Something...” Vincent said. “V-Vince? Y-your scaring m-me" Jeremy said, accidently backing into the safe room’s wall. Vincent pulled out a knife and covered Jeremy’s mouth with his hand before he could scream. “Shh... It will all be over soon.... friend” Vincent said, his eyes glowing blue and purple, then he stabbed him. Those aren’t his eyes... he’s not meaning to do this... Jeremy thought just before everything went black. Vincent’s eyes returned to normal. “Wha-?” Vincent said, then saw Jeremy on the floor covered in blood. He looked at his hands, trembling. His hands were covered in blood and he was holding a knife. He dropped the knife on to the floor and took a step back. I did this... Vincent thought to himself. Then he ran. He ran out of the safe room, out of the pizzeria. He didn’t stop running until he opened the door to his house and fell to the floor. The images of Jeremy lying on the floor, bloody, wouldn’t leave his mind. He realized that he still had the Dawko plush. He threw it across the floor, in anger. “Why?! Ever since you got here my life has been miserable! My best friend is dead! What do you want from me?!” Vincent yelled. The plush didn’t say anything. It’s blue and purple eyes still staring at him. Vincent decided to play more of the “game” to take his mind off of what just happened. He picked up the Dawko plush even though he didn’t really want to. He didn’t change out of his blood-stained clothes because if he did, the images would come back. Then Vincent put on the VR headset. The first thing he saw was the thing with purple eyes. You're not supposed to be here. You’re not real. You’re just a figment of my imagination... Vincent thought to himself, nevously, not really believing a word of it. The thing motioned with its hand for him to follow. Vincent hesitated then looked down at his bloodstained hand. The Dawko plush was still there. He looked up at the thing again. “What did you mean in the dream? You said I would become him” Vincent asked, pointing at the Dawko plush. The thing with purple eyes motioned for him to follow again. Vincent suddenly had a strong urge that wanted him to follow. This time he didn’t hesitate and followed the thing with the purple eyes, the Dawko plush clutched in his bloody hand.
The thing went into another safe room. It held out its hand to him. “You want the Dawko plush?” Vincent asked, not really wanting to give it up. The thing with purple eyes understood that the kid in front of him wanted to keep the plushie. The thing put his hand down. It would have to do this a different way. While it was thinking about this, the kid started humming Darkest Desire by Dawko. That’s how I’ll do it... the thing with purple eyes thought to himself, grinning creepily. “You like that song?” It asked in almost a whisper. Vincent turned to face the thing. “Yeah, it’s my favorite song by Dawko” Vincent said, turning back to the plushie, playing with it while he hummed. He didn’t know what it was, but he trusted the thing with the purple eyes. It was like it was a best friend even though they met not very long ago. The thing felt familiar to him, like a father would feel familiar to his son and so the son would trust his father and want to be close to him. “Do you trust me?” the thing with purple eyes asked, holding out its hand. That’s what made it happen. Those four little words. Vincent’s eyes turned light blue and purple. “Yes” Vincent
said, turning towards the thing with purple eyes. He reached out and took the thing’s hand. The thing with purple eyes grinned then said, “Are you ready to fulfil your darkest desires... Dawko?”
I know nothing of FNAF, who on earth is FNAF 4?
FNAF isn’t a character, I was matching games you each of you because I thought no characters went with you guys in this fandom
As for what FNAF is, strap in...
Alright, I’ll try to explain this the best I can. (Warning for dark themes, murder, and horror below the cut)
FNAF stands for Five Night’s a Freddy’s, a horror game that came out in 2014 got pretty popular. The basic gist of it was that you were a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, basically a knockoff Chuck-E-Cheese, but in this children’s restaurant, the animatronics had a free roam ‘Night Mode’ where they’d basically come alive and try to get to you in your office, kill you, and stuff you in a Freddy Suit bc they think you’re one of them. The ‘Night Mode’ goes from 12pm to 6am, in which you have to close doors, looking in the cameras, and use lights without draining all the power in order to survive the night. Five nights of this and you have your game.
Of course, fan theories came about with some news clippings on the walls of Freddy’s describing a series of child murders that took place in the restaurant, couple that with the excuse of a ‘Night Mode’ from Phone Guy, your boss, and you get some interesting speculation of haunted animatronics filled with the spirits of those dead children way back when, and then the spirit of the animatronic known as Golden Freddy - an old abandoned animatronic who sometimes appeared in your office during the game, glitching your screen and saying ‘it’s me’.
Of course with the popularity of the franchise, more installments came about, and what started as a small horror indie game was launched in pop culture and was gaining millions of fans overnight.
Then came FNAF 2, a whole new location with new mechanics to survive, like wearing a Freddy head. New animatronics called the toy animatronics. The old location apparently had shut down, and a new location opened up, giving the feeling of familiarity in a different place. Of course, lore evolved into figuring out the secrets behind these new robots, and the horror that was the bunny, bonnie robot without a face, not to mention the marionette doll. Finally, within some minigames between the nights, we figure out the killer of these kids, fan named ‘Purple Guy’.
FNAF 3 was a horror attraction where you were playing the role of a security guard and also actually being a guard for the place, while horror animatronics trying to make fun of the tragedies of FNAF 1 and 2 and make some money off it by bringing people into their version of a haunted house. Purple Guy is there too, in the ripped yellow bunny suit he used to wear when he killed the kids and is the only one you can get a game over to, the other just mess with ventilation and stuff and jumpscare you. Ends when the whole thing is set on fire and burned.
FNAF 4 was where lore stopped being discreet and just in your face. The whole game placed you in the role of a child in your bedroom at night in your house while the Freddy gang but much scarier - sharp teeth and claws - would try to get into your room and kill you. The real scary part was that the only way you can tell they’re coming is breathing, and sometimes even your voice being too loud could get you killed. Plus, and here’s the fun part - the only way to stop them is by holding your bedroom or closet doors shut. Minigames and lore are given between the nights talking about a child who has a fredbear plush who talks to him, and a family who would barely let him out of his room, dubbed ‘Crying Child’. He’s terrified of the Freddy robots, and his brother ends up putting him in an animatronic's mouth as a prank on his own birthday, and he dies from a head injury.
FNAF World was a fun game - not really that lore-based by any means. A cute RPG where you play as a cute Freddy and collect clocks and complete minigames to get endings. The only lore was with a secret dark side - the golden Freddy - it glitches and turns into the FNAF 4 freadbear, telling you to collect the clocks to put the world back in order. Also, Scott Cawthon, creator of FNAF was the final boss, unimportant but interesting.
After this was FNAF: Sister Location. All New animatronics - Circus Baby, Ballora, Funtime Freddy, and Funtime Foxy. You play as a night guard-ish in this animatronic rental place - Circus Baby’s Rental, a competitor to Freddy’s, and after the fire, became the only remaining company. Your job in the game is to zap the animatronics with electricity to make them behave and follow orders. Seems simple, right? Heck no. They’re angry and want to kill you for zapping them and keeping them imprisoned. They mess with the wiring for security and have you restart the system yourself with a whole bunch of minigames for your second night on the job after a helpful voice helped you to hide under the desk and evade them. You realize pretty quickly following the HAND unit’s instructions get you killed, but the other voice keeps you safe. This leads to two endings where after all the animatronics are disabled and merged into one called Enard, you either follow the voices instructions, get your insides scooped and Enard wears you like a skin suit in order to blend in and get out of the building, or you disobey and lead to an FNAF 1 style standoff with Enard, make it home and still get killed.
FNAF pizzeria simulator is exactly like the title - you make your own Freddy’s franchise, and depending on the choices you make to either salvage the animatronics found in the back alley or keep them out (Under your paragraph 4 contract), and then whether you complete the salvage or fail, leaving it to try to kill you in a certain part of the game when you’re in your office during the day doing tasks. In the lore-based end, all the animatronics thus far minus the originals who got their souls to rest in FNAF 3, are burned in the pizzeria, along with Purple Guy in his suit, ending up in H-E double hockey sticks in FNAF Ultimate Custom Night, the next game.
Finally, the most recent game in the franchise - FNAF VR: Help Wanted. In this game, the Freddy Franchise wants to ‘make light of silly rumors of danger in their restaurants’ by reliving the horror Scott created but in VR. Lore is hidden in tapes throughout the games that tell of a development team and the weird stuff that was going on during the game's development, and the connection of GiltchTrap, a part of the game used from scrapped Freddy’s parts for money, and now has Purple Guy’s soul trapped in the game with you trying to take over your body. in both endings of this game, not counting the completion of the last game, your body is taken over by Purple Guy, leaving you trapped in the VR game.
Phew. That was a lot. Hope it made some sense!
The Teasy, the Quiet, and the Vulnerable!
Jackieboy Man sees Chase playing FNAF Help Wanted on his VR headset. Marvin is also there, watching the headset's recording on a laptop in the background. Jackie, being the evil guy he is, decides to torment Chase and take advantage of his temporary blindness to reality.
It features some minor spoilers for FNAF: Help Wanted, so a bit of a disclaimer for that. Other than that, I hope you all enjoy!
Chase Brody had turned on his VR Headset, and was playing the game Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted. Marvin was watching the recording action on a laptop in the background.
"I don't know what to pick now! I've done all the main FNAF games once already, and I don't wanna go for the vent levels yet." Chase muttered, currently looking through the different options on the video game.
"What's Parts and Services?" Marvin asked. Chase clicked the right arrow a few more times, allowing the tablet options to circle around again before reaching the options Marvin mentioned.
"Uuuh...I don't know. Wanna try?" Chase asked.
"Yeah! Try it!" Marvin replied.
"Okay." Chase decided. Chase clicked on the first level, and waited for the circle to completely load with 100% pizza in the circle.
Suddenly, the screen faded into black, before instructions showed up on the screen. Then, the instructions faded before revealing the first animatronic.
[Welcome to Parts and Services.] the game narrator said.
Chase just dropped his jaw at the size of the robot.
"You are HUGE! HOW IN THE WORLD- If you were standing on you 2 feet, YOU'D BE TOWERING ME!" Chase reacted.
[First we must access his harmonization module located inside his secondary throat pipe. To access the throat pipe, both eyes must first be removed.] The narrator explained.
Chase's eyes widened. "We're taking it apart?!...I mean that's cool and all, but these things are known for being deadly!" Chase reacted.
"Should've thought about that before buying the game, Chase..." Marvin teased.
"Shut up, ya bystander." Chase shot back at Marvin.
Chase began to focus on removing the first eye. He slowly, carefully, removed it from its eye socket. Success!
Chase let out a sigh of relief.
[Put the left eye in the cleaning receptacle to your left.]
Chase followed the instructions, and dropped it in. As it roared, more dialogue came up:
[Well done. Now firmly grip Bonnie's right eye and remove it from its socket.]
"This is so odd. I'm literally taking an animatronic apart." Chase said as he carefully removed the right eye.
[Deposit the right eye in the cleaning receptacle on your right.]
"Chase followed the guide and dropped it in.
[Good job. To open Bonnie's faceplate carefully, press the two buttons located on either side of Bonnie's jaw. When done correctly, you should hear two small clicks.] The narrator explained.
"Okay." Chase said, reaching his controllers up to the red buttons on either side of the blue jaw. "one..." Chase mumbled, clicking the left button first. "...and-" Chase said, clicking the second button.
Suddenly, a loud opening sound could be heard as the face plate unhinged itself from the skeleton underneath. Chase jumped and shouted in response.
Marvin jumped and gasped as well, but bursted out laughing at Chase's reaction.
"Ohohoho GOHOHOD NOHO! I HATE THIS!" Chase shouted, laughing uncomfortably.
[-Bonnie's harmonization module.] The narrator spoke, still talking despite Chase's inability to focus. [Press the blinking button inside Bonnie's secondary throat pipe to enter calibration mode.] The narrator continued.
"I'm guessing it's this middle button here?" Chase asked out loud. Chase reached his remote up to the button and pressed it. Immediately, the strings on the guitar started playing one by one! Chase immediately began playing air guitar.
"Yeah! Play it, Bonnie!" Chase yelled.
"Oh, something's loose..." Marvin commented, hearing a loose string sound, that stuck out like a sore thumb.
[Something is not right.] The narrator commented.
"Yeah, no shit." Marvin reacted. Chase froze and paused his air guitar moves upon realizing he was supposed to listen.
"Wait, what?! I didn't-" [One of those notes is out of tune.] The narrator interrupted. [You may push the button again to play the audio check.] The narrator further instructed.
"Okay, good. Cause I wasn't listening." Chase admitted, before clicking the button again. All 5 strings began playing one by one again, with the second-to-last sound appearing to be out of tune.
"Okay...I think it's this one?" Chase said out loud, turning the yellow tuning knob. [Press the blinking button now, to verify your work.] The narrator explained. Chase clicked the button and listened to the tuning...now 2 of the notes were out-
Bonnie's endoskeleton jumped right at Chase's screen! "AAAAAAAAH! OH MY GOD! BONNIE, YOU PICKY PIECE OF SHIT! COME ON!" Chase shouted, jumping about 3 feet into the air.
{TAKE 2}
[One of these notes is out of tune. You may push the button-]
"I know! You don't have to re-explain it, narrator! I got this!" Chase yelled out loud. Then, Chase began to play the individual chords with his remote finger. "...Uuuuh...This one?" Chase asked out loud, turning the first blue note before 'verifying his work'. "Dammit, I feel like this- GAAAAAAHAHAHA! OH, FUCK YOU! WHERE'S THE MIDDLE FINGER OPTION WHEN I NEED IT?!" Chase shouted, getting jump-scared again.
Marvin bursted out into even more laughter, clenching his stomach as he fell backwards onto his back. "YOHOHOU HAHAVE YOUR OWN FINGER, YOU KNOW!" Marvin reminded.
"Oh yeah!" Chase reacted, before letting his remote dangle and shooting the video game an invisible middle finger. "Fuck you!" Chase added.
{TAKE 3}
"Come on...This has GOTTA be it...Chase said, clicking the last tuning knob on the right. [Press the blinking button now, to v-] "I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Chase shouted, clicking the button and listening to the chords. They finally sounded correct! [Great job.] The narrator cheered. "Yay!" Chase cheered. [Bonnie is in tune, and ready for his solo. Let's close him up.] The narrator encouraged.
"Gosh, this reminds me of Jack's Surgery Squad videos! 'Let's close it up.' Fuckin' JEFF!" Chase reacted. [Simply replace both eyes in the same order that you removed them. Then close up the face plate and we'll call it a day.] The narrator explained.
"Oh god...Okay. So, left then right?" Chase asked. He placed the left eye into the left socket, and paused to cover his face, in case another jump scare occurred. After a couple seconds of being in the clear, Chase took in a deep breath and placed the second eye in the second socket.
[Well done. That concludes your Parts and Services tasks. See you next time.] The narrator said.
Chase took off his headphones and placed them around his neck. "Yes! I did it! I'm a robot technician now!" Chase cheered.
"Good job, Chase! A round of applause for Chase's determination!" Marvin cheered. Chase smiled and flexed his muscles in a very modest fashion, to show off his bravery.
"Ooh! What's this I hear?" A familiar voice said behind Chase.
Marvin smiled and waved. "Hi Jackie! Chase just beat the first Parts and Services level!" Marvin explained.
"Wow! Congratulations Chase!" Jackie said with a smirk.
"Thanks Jackie." Chase said, sensing a bit of cockiness in the superhero's voice.
"What? You think you can do better?" Chase asked, turning around to where Jackie's voice was.
"No, no! I wanna see how far you can get! I'm genuinely curious!" Jackie reacted, putting his hands up in arrest, as to not offend anybody.
"Well, considering the first level took 3 tries to get right, I'd like to see how this goes." Marvin added. Chase rolled his eyes inside the headset and turned around to face the menu screen in the headset.
"Okay. let's move onto level 2. But first: I felt a pair of-" Chase said, before turning his head to the right. Chase looked around the background, and looked at the door frame. Specifically though, Chase was gazing his eyes on the outline of an animatronic in the corner of the room. "...eyes...staring...at me- Welp, that's not creepy at all..." Chase reacted.
"UUUUH- WHAT IS THAT?!" Marvin shouted, completely unaware that the figure even existed until now. The animatronic appeared to look like some kind of bunny, with a yellowish outline color and a pair of glowing purple eyes. It looked like it was waving at Chase.
"I don't know..." Chase admitted. He started waving his remote at the see-through being. "Hi there! Having fun stalking me?...That's good." Chase said, interacting with the bunny before clicking onto the Chica level.
"Alright. Let's see what this level has in it...Other than Chica, of course." Chase commented before clicking the 'start game' button.
[Welcome back to Parts and Service.] The narrator started.
"Oh god, you are thicc! DAMN BOI! DAMN, HE THICC AS FUCK!
[Sounds like Chica has been rummaging around the kitchen again.] The narrator continued.
"Look! He's covered in pizza! What in the world were you doing?" Chase asked.
[-and place it in the refuse bin.] The narrator explained, still going. Despite his talking over the instructions, he was able to hear the instructions.
"What have you been doing in the kitchen Chica? Making cupcakes with Chica Fischbach?" Chase asked, referring to Markiplier's golden retriever dog, who was also named Chica.
Marvin giggled at the question.
Chase began removing the pieces of pizza just covering the animatronic. Chase removed a pizza from the outside of Chica's belly. "There ya go! No more pizza on your tum-tum!" Chase cooed. Next, Chase removed the pizza from Chica's knee. "Now why is there a pizza in your knee? That's a strange spot for a pizza." Chase commented. Lastly, Chase removed the pizza from the side of Chica's head. "All done!" Chase said.
[Good job. Make sure Chica is not hiding any other treats, in her beak. To open her beak, carefully press the two buttons located on the sides of Chica's head.] The narrator instructed.
"Oh, so it's just like Bonnie?...Okay. Hopefully I don't get jump scared this time." Chase commented before clicking the left button and the right button on the side of Chica's jaw. Chica's beak opened with its head tilted this time! Chase jumped yet again. Immediately after, creepy crawly sounds could be heard in Chase's headphones. "Ew! Ew ew ew ew EW! What is that?!" Chase yelled.
[Oh no. It looks like Chica has picked up some unwanted friends.] The narrator explained.
"Oh my god! Ewww! What did you get yourself into, Chica?! that's disgusting!" Chase reacted.
[-Chemi-spray, to Chica's exterior. Press the button under the hanging canister, to activate the chemi-spray.] The narrator instructed.
"Uh- you mean this?" Chase asked as he brought his remote-controlled finger up to the red button on the left of his screen.
He clicked the red, flashing button. [Avoid inhaling the chemi-spray. Exposure to cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance chemicals may result in respiratory problems, skin, or eye irritation.] The narrator warned.
"Well, jokes on you! This is Virtual Reality! Meaning, I'm not getting effected!" Chase yelled, throwing his hands up and yelling "Health issues" to the world.
Marvin laughed at Chase, and gave Jackie a nod.
[Good job. Now reattach Chica's upper arm, hand, and cupcake plate.] The narrator further instructed.
"Alright. How did you lose your arm, Chica?" Chase asked before removing his headset. He looked at Marvin with a smile. "Chica's over here, lookin' like Bethany Hamilton." Chase joked. Marvin rolled his eyes, but smiled as he shook his head. Chase put his headset back on and grabbed Chica's arm with his remote. Then, as he connected the upper arm to the shoulder joint, the arm moved itself into the usual cupcake-serving position. To end it off, Chase placed the cupcake plate onto Chica's open serving hand.
Suddenly, the creepy-crawly sound started up again!
[Oh no! It looks like Chica needs another dose of the chemi-spray. Do not let the infestation spread.] The narrator exclaimed.
"Ewww! Not again! Come on, Chica! Stop picking up bugs!" Chase reacted.
Chase reached up to touch the button with his remote-
"Hehehehey! Quihihihit ihihit!" Chase giggled as he brought his arm down and trapped the hand in the armpit. "Whohoho's tiihihicklihihing mehehehe?!" Chase asked.
"It's not me." Marvin admitted.
"It's not me either." Jackie said, standing right beside him.
"Jahahackie? Ihis thahat yo- AAAAHAHAHAHA!" Chase shouted, leaning forward with his headset still on. "IHIHI DIHIHIHIDN'T PREHEHESS THEHEHE BUHUHUHUTOHOHON!" Chase yelled at him.
Jackie smirked and removed his hand. "Well? What are you waiting for? Click the button!" Jackie encouraged.
"Buhuhut your gonna tihihickle mehehehe..." Chase complained.
"Who is? I'm not the one doing this. You must be feeling ghosts." Jackie lied.
"Quihihit fuhuhuckin' around with mehehe!" Chase yelled.
"I'm not! I'm sitting around, watching you try and reach the button!" Jackie insisted.
Chase chewed on his bottom lip. The tickling was really messing with him. But, Chase decided to brave it and hope and pray this was the last instruction. Chase reached up, and managed to click the button to activate more chemi-spray. But, as soon as the button was pushed, a few fingers began tickling his outreached armpit again.
Chase immediately brought his arm down. "NAAhahahaha! Jahahahackie! youlittleshihihihihit!" Chase giggled.
"How am I a little shit- I'm literally doing nothing!" Jackie protested as he tickled his armpit more.
"Yehehehes yohohou ahahahare! Yohohou're suhuch a fuhuhuckin' lihihihier!" Chase shot back. [Return the cupcake to Chica's plate.] The narrator instructed in the background. But Chase was too busy trying to remove a pair of arms out of his ticklish armpit!
Jackie gasped. "Come on, Chase...Now THAT was uncalled for." Jackie reacted sarcastically. Jackie looked at the screen and smirked. "Chase! You have to pick up the cupcake! He's running around loose!" Jackie warned.
"Yohoho're TIHIHIHICKLIHING mehehe!" Chase protested.
"You have a second hand! Use it!" Jackie reminded him. Chase decided to reach out to attempt to pick up the cupcake. But suddenly, another pair of fingers placed themselves into Chase's other armpit! Now BOTH armpits were being attacked! "AAAAAH! GAAHAHAHAHA! STAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIHIT!" Chase shouted, helplessly curled in as the cupcake began running around on the headset screen.
"Stop what? Who's tickling you? And why now, of all times? You're gonna lose the game!" Jackie replied, acting completely oblivious to the tickle treatment he was giving the man.
"LEHEHET MEHEHEHE GOOHOHOHO YOU LYHYHYING BAHAHASTAHAHAHARD!" Chase shouted.
Suddenly, Chica jumped at the screen and made a loud, shrieking sound!
"AAAAAAHAHAHA! OKAHAHAY, OHOHOKAHAHAHAY! IHIHI'M DEHEHEAD, LEHEHET MEHE GOHOHOHOHO!" Chase begged.
"Oh really? Well in that case:" Jackie said, before nodding to Marvin to save the game from the laptop. After the game was saved, Jackie clicked the off switch on the headset. "Let's hear that special laugh of yours." Jackie teased before moving his fingers. Jackie placed his fingers on the front of Chase's ribcage, and began digging and wiggling his fingers on Chase's bottom ribs at the front of his body.
"EEEEEEK! NOOOHOHOHO! JACKIE, PLEHEHEHEHEASE!" Chase begged.
"Come on, where's that special spot that makes you REALLY squeal?" Jackie asked. Chase only continued to laugh and squirm, refusing to answer. Then, it clicked! "Oh yeah! It's right here!" Jackie replied before lightly digging into another spot: the costal arch. Jackie learned this medical term from Schneeplestein. Basically: it was the V-shaped separation underneath the sternum of the rib cage. But, Jackie liked to call it: the outline of his abs.
Either way: Chase literally shrieked! Then, he started snorting and cackling at the same time!
"JAHAHACKIE! *snort* NOHOHO! *snort* NUUUUUUHUHU! *snort* EEEHEHEHEHE-*snort* EEHEEHEEHEEHEHEHEHE!" Chase barely got out through his giggles and disruptive snorts.
Marvin must've walked up closer to Chase, because Marvin's voice had gotten louder and much more closer! "What- Where are you even tickling him?! I legitimately can't tell." Marvin asked.
Jackie paused his tickling and brought his hand over to Marvin. "I'm tickling right here. Right on the ribs' ligaments." Jackie explained, giving Marvin's costal arch a quick tickle before returning to Chase.
"Eehehe! That's such a weird spot! How-" Marvin reacted.
"I found out about it while I was explaining a combat story!" Jackie explained.
"TOHOHOHOO TIHIHIHICKLYYYYY! *snort* IHIHI- *snort* IHIHI'M GOHOHONNA DIHIHIHIE! *snort* HAHAHAHAHA!" Chase begged as much as he possibly could through his giggles and snorts.
Jackie nodded and gave Chase a break. Chase giggled and just fell forward onto his knees. As soon as he gained a bit more strength, Chase removed the headphones and the headset and placed them down on the ground harder than he expected.
"Wait, how did the discovery happen?" Marvin asked, not fully understanding what exactly happened.
"There was a battle I was a part of, against some kind of buff man with an axe. After I knocked the axe out of his hand, the man got all angry and jabbed his clawed nails into my abdomen." Jackie explained. "When I reenacted the attack-" Jackie reenacted the claw-jab for Marvin as well, making sure to add in the slight shakiness of the buff man's hand. "-Chase started giggling and just flopped onto the ground. I actually had to repeat the move a few times, to understand that: 'wow! This is actually a tickle spot!'." Jackie further explained. "Now only that, but Chase started snorting as I scratched there, but especially when I scratched the v-shaped arch of his ribcage." Jackie added.
"Huh...That's really weird!" Marvin reacted. Marvin walked himself up to Chase, and gently laid him onto the ground.
"Whahat are you doing? You'd behehetter not be trying tohoho tickle mehehe again..." Chase warned.
"No no no. I'm not planning on tickling you. No, no no. I'm putting my master plan of tickling you, into session right now!" Marvin replied.
"Nohoho! Please dohon't- EEEEEEEEHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Chase shouted, flailing about as his rib cage was attacked again. Marvin dug his fingers on the top part of the arch, and crawled his fingers down the arch towards the front of his bottom ribs.
"Wow! This arch must've costal-lot of money!" Marvin joked. Chase groaned through his laughter.
"THAHAHAHAT *snort* WAHAS SOHO *snort* SOHOHOHO BAHAHAD!" Chase yelled through his laughs and snorts.
"Awww...Too puny for you?" Marvin asked.
Chase nodded his head as he attempted to push Marvin's hands away. Marvin paused his hands for a moment, and pulled out his magic wand. Using the magic wand in his right hand, he created a left-handed leather glove. Marvin turned his hand around and showed Chase the silver, nail-shaped claws attached to the tips of the fingers. Next, Marvin used his magical finger to give his right hand a leather glove with claws as well!
Marvin put his magic wand away and wiggled his fingers evilly. Chase's eyes just widened in suspense and anxiety.
"Ohohohoho nohohoho! Thohose look sohohoho scary!" Chase whimpered nervously.
"Ohoho...I know..." Marvin said, giggling in a deep, evil voice. Marvin wiggled his nailed gloves until they finally touched down to his abdomen and the front of his ribs.
"EEEEEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHA! PAHAHAHAWS OHOHOHOHOFF PAHAHAHAWS OHOHOHOHOFF!" Chase shouted, pushing him away desperately.
"Paws off? But these aren't paws! These are gloves! They're cat gloves, to be exact. Raaaawwr!" Marvin teased, curling his fingers like cat claws to be more cat-like.
"NAAHAHAHAHA! GOHOHO RAHAHAHAWR AHAHAT SOHOHOHOMEOHOHONE EHEHEHELSE!" Chase yelled.
"But there's NO ONE here! You're the only person I can really RAWR at! So, I'll just RAWR at you. RAAAAAWWWWRRR!" Marvin growled like a cat, scritchy-scratching his upper arch.
"DAHAHAHAHAMN IHIHIHIHIT! YOHOHOHOU'RE SOHOHOHO WEHEHEHEHEIRD!" Chase shouted in retaliation.
"I mean, I'm a cat...Being weird is kinda my thing." Marvin explained.
Chase, not knowing what else to do, let out a hiss that sounded similar to a cat.
Marvin gasped and removed his fingers before putting a hand over his mouth. "Did-Did Chase just hiss at me?! Are you turning into BB?! Oh my gosh! That's so cute!" Marvin reacted, squealing and smiling widely at the cute man in front of him.
Chase continued to giggle as he took advantage of the break and took in deep breathes.
"Though as much as it was cute, hissing is always considered rude. So, I'm gonna need to punish you for that!" Marvin suggested before placing his gloved fingers back onto Chase's costal arch.
"NOOOOOHOHOHOHOHO! IHIHIHI'M SOHOHOHORRY! SOHOHORRY! JUHUHUHUST STAHAHAHAP!" Chase pleaded through his hysterical laughter.
"That was a bad boy!" Marvin demanded, poking his belly as he yelled the following words: "Bad, Boy!". "Bad boys need tickles!" Marvin teased. As Marvin's fingers got to the bottom of the arch, it was all over.
Chase proceeded to get completely wrecked for his 'bad habit' of hissing, as Marvin called it. Marvin took complete advantage of Chase's ticklish spots, and discovered a few more along the way! In the end, Chase's FNAF game got pushed aside for a while. All because Jackie couldn't keep his ticklish paws off Chase's stomach while he was blind to reality.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Obsolete, Night 9: Haunted Reality
''Remember me? I knew I'd find you! This family is broken, what are we going to do? Once more we rise up again, the lights go out, off with your head. We are all prisoners in the end; feel the fear, panic and the dread. You're trapped in mechanical hostility, so make the best of your abilities! You can't escape from this haunted reality! Break the chains and set the spirit free! Set the spirit free…''
– Haunted Reality by PsychoticFox (Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted)
xXxXxXx
''Well, if this wasn't an interesting experience,'' Glitchtrap said to himself thoughtfully, standing on the stage. He grinned, turning towards the audience, which consisted of one figure that was slumped over. ''It seems like Sam is quite determined to learn who we are, or rather, who I am. However, I have my doubts that she would be able to handle the truth considering how she still refuses to put two and two together.''
He shook his head.
''How unfortunate… But, I know that she is going to pull through,'' Glitchtrap added confidently. ''She is smart and is not someone who'd give up so easily, no matter how dangerous the situation is. All she needs is a little nudge in the right direction and once she completes the game given to her, I can finally step in. Or at least, one part of me.''
He gazed at the figure in the shadows. The body was lifeless, dark red and black liquid pooling beneath it. Glitchtrap smirked. He knew that all of the injuries were just a manifestation of the broken mind, and that the body could easily be mended. He had a strong will, and that will would keep him attached to the world of living. The agony that had affected the soul was enough to allow him to return. If that child really believed that they won by making their tormentor suffer, they were wrong. In truth, the suffering he experienced made him stronger. They created a monster they couldn't contain.
''One would think that having your mind and soul being broken would be a disaster, but I can make it work,'' Glitchtrap continued in a calmer, more deliberate tone, clasping his hands together. ''You and I are one and the same, even if we take on a different appearance.'' He observed carefully as the blood on the floor faded, aware that the final part of the process he had set in motion has begun. ''Our desire is the same – to return once more to the world that has forsaken us.''
Glitchtrap suddenly stopped talking as he sensed something faint, only to suddenly sense it again. It was a heartbeat. He placed his hand on his chest, sensing the heartbeat once more. He knew that his other self responded, even if he still remained motionless, reaching an understanding with the part his soul that guided him through the darkness that kept him chained here.
''I had been in denial, haven't I?'' Glitchtrap said, his voice far from the theatrical tone he would usually use. He was unusually calm, having a moment of introspection. ''Despite what I had told myself, my soul cannot rest. I wanted to believe that it was for the best, that this was what I wanted, but I lied to myself. It is impossible to let everything end when there is still something left for me to do.''
He looked up, staring into the pitch-black darkness above him.
''Because…'' Glitchtrap's eyes flashed purple. ''I always come back. Let me OUT!''
If there was one thing that wouldn't stop bothering Sam, it was Glitchtrap. She had spent the night tossing and turning, trying to figure out what this meant. She had figured that the only way for her to learn more is to follow Glitchtrap's instructions, even if she had a bad feeling about it. Glitchtrap had to have some kind of motive behind her gathering all of the Tapes.
On the other hand, Tape Girl did tell her that she made those Tapes to explain whoever had to deal with Glitchtrap how they should proceed, meaning she needed to gather the Tapes regardless. Then, there was also the fact that she wanted to learn more about the lore of Help Wanted.
In the end, it doesn't matter just how distrustful I am of Glitchtrap, I need to collect all of the Tapes to understand what exactly he is.
Sam was completely lost in her thoughts, not even noticing when Matt had joined her as she entered the school. In her defense, he made no attempt to let her know that he was there. He knew that Sam would eventually turn her attention to him and that it was better for her to finish whatever train of thought she had before she lost it. After all, he too loved to ponder about random stuff and hated being interrupted when he was in deep thought.
''Oh, hey Matt,'' Sam suddenly said when she realized that her friend was following her towards the classroom.
''Hi, Sam, I hope I didn't interrupt anything,'' Matt replied.
''No, you didn't,'' Sam told him sheepishly. ''I haven't even noticed you.''
''It's no big deal,'' Matt replied, shrugging. ''I'd also rather spend more time with my own thoughts than with other people.''
Sam wasn't really sure whether that was supposed to be a compliment or Matt just teasing her. However, considering his nonchalant attitude and the fact that he'd usually leave her alone whenever she was occupied with something, she figured that it was the former.
''So, what is it?'' Matt continued, smiling. ''I doubt that you'd spend your free time thinking about what happened the previous day. Or am I wrong?''
''No, I actually wasn't thinking about Tessa…'' Sam started, only for Matt to cut her off, pointing to the side.
''Too bad, because now, you will,'' he said. Sam followed his gaze, exasperated when she saw Tessa walking towards them with an enraged look on her expression. She had managed to avoid her former friend the day before, but this time, there was no escape.
''How could you do this to me?!'' Tessa yelled at Sam, who just gave her an annoyed look. ''My mum got a call from the principal about having to pay for the cleaning and she took the money from my allowance. I hope you're happy now!''
''It's not Sam's fault that you got punished for something you did,'' Matt responded, stepping up. While Tessa glared at him, Sam was a bit surprised, only to remember the promise he gave her. ''Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.''
''This is none of your business,'' Tessa replied angrily.
''Considering how you're being aggressive my best friend, it is,'' Matt replied, smirking when he saw Tessa glaring at him.
''Your best friend?! I was friends with Sam since childhood. You have no right to claim her as your best friend-''
''Tessa, shut up!'' Sam shouted at Tessa, who turned her attention to the latter. Sam then added in a calmer tone, ''You're causing a scene. Everyone's looking at us.''
Tessa took a glance at her surroundings, noting the looks of disapproval and intrigue some of the students were giving her. They did not forget about the glitter prank nor who caused it. Tessa then turned back to Sam, who continued, ''You have no one else to blame but yourself for having to deal with the consequences.''
''It was just a harmless prank…'' Tessa attempted to defend herself.
''Then why didn't I laugh?'' Sam asked coldly, her voice sending chills down Tessa's spine. Matt gave Sam an uncertain look, sensing that, for a moment, something inside Sam changed, as if a switch had been flipped. It wasn't the coldness and seriousness of her tone, but rather the dark aura he had sensed. Then, it vanished completely, as if Sam suddenly took control again.
The three then heard the bell ring, with Sam glancing at Tessa and shrugging nonchalantly. She turned to Matt, acting as if nothing had happened. ''Let's go, or we'll be late to class.''
Baffled, Matt just followed her. After what had happened the previous day, as well as him sensing negative emotions attached to her, he realized that he had something worth of investigation at his hands.
Aaron Blackburn was at his computer, fixing a bug in the game he had been assigned to work on, when his smartphone suddenly rang. To his surprise, the call wasn't from a co-worker, but his own daughter. He answered it.
''Hello? Sam?''
''Hi, Dad! I need to ask you something important.''
Aaron's lips curved up into a smile. There were no questions about how he was doing, how the weather was or any kind of small talk. Instead, his daughter went straight to business. It kind of reminded him of Emma.
''What do you want to know?'' he asked curiously.
''When you were working on Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, did any of your co-workers start behaving strangely?''
Aaron's eyes narrowed. He was surprised by the question, wondering why Sam would ask him that. He thought about it for a moment, trying to remember what had happened during that time period, but all he knew was that Fazbear Entertainment was pressuring them to complete the game and fix the bugs. ''Hm… Well, I do remember that everyone was stressed.''
''Did anyone start talking to themselves after playing through the game or complained about having nightmares?''
''Uh, no, I don't think so… At least I can't recall anything,'' Aaron replied. ''Why are you asking?''
''It's something about the game that bothers me and I think someone may have added something that shouldn't be there,'' Sam replied. Aaron rose an eyebrow.
''Sam, are you talking about the official game or the early version I had sent you?'' he asked.
''I've been going through the early version,'' Sam told him. Aaron leaned back against the chair, trying to remember whether anything unusual happened.
''The last person who worked on it was Vanessa, but I don't remember her acting strange,'' Aaron told Sam.
''Vanessa?''
''Our beta tester,'' Aaron replied sheepishly. ''I guess I forgot to tell you her name. In any case, she was sent by Fazbear Entertainment to beta test the game and, after I had told her about you, suggested that I could send you the early version of the game and that she wouldn't snitch on me.''
''What about her? Did she act strangely?''
''She did appear a little stressed, but frankly, everyone was stressed during that time,'' Aaron replied. ''Otherwise, she'd be always chipper and nice, even bringing cookies once to a meeting.''
''Oh, I see,'' Sam replied, sounding puzzled. Aaron assumed that she didn't expect this kind of answer. ''Does she still work with you?''
''No, she actually left about two-three weeks ago,'' Aaron told her. ''She said she'd be working on a different project. However, she did pop up to beta test the DLC.''
''DLC?'' Sam sounded genuinely confused.
''Sam, have you forgotten? There is going to be a DLC this Halloween,'' Aaron told her. ''As a matter of fact, the official version is supposed to come out a day earlier.''
''Wait, Halloween…'' Sam went silent for a moment, with Aaron assuming that she was probably checking the calendar. He then heard a very loud smack, figuring that Sam had face-palmed. ''It's this weekend! I totally forgot!''
Aaron chuckled. ''What? Aren't there any Halloween decorations?''
''Well, Freddy's hasn't decorated anything for Halloween yet, but I guess they'll might do it today or tomorrow,'' Sam replied. ''Honestly, I've been busy with a lot of other things; school, my job… I can't really keep track of everything.''
''It's fine Sam,'' Aaron replied. ''I hope you'll enjoy the DLC when it comes out.''
''Me too,'' Sam said, sighing.
''So, how's Emma?'' Aaron asked.
''She's okay, albeit busy. She said that she would take another trip soon.''
''What about your robot bunny friend?'' Aaron asked casually. He realized that something was wrong when Sam suddenly fell silent. ''Sam?''
''He… He's gone…'' Sam said hesitantly. Aaron waited for her to elaborate, but she didn't. It was clear that she didn't want to talk about Springtrap.
''I'm sorry Sam,'' Aaron told her, wanting to comfort her, but Sam cut him off.
''No, it's fine… I'm okay…'' she said.
''Do you still sleepwalk?'' Aaron asked. There was a moment of silence on the other end.
''Mum told you, didn't she?'' Sam asked, her question followed by a pregnant pause. Not even waiting for Aaron's answer, she continued, ''I'm fine now. I think I was just really stressed out and that affected my sleep.''
''I'm sorry that you had to go through that,'' Aaron replied, feeling bad for his daughter.
''It's okay,'' Sam told him. ''I gotta go now, though. Thank you for the information, Dad. You're the best!''
''You're welcome, sweetheart,'' Aaron told her, smiling. Then, the call got cancelled.
Sam took a deep breath and turned to her laptop. She hadn't checked her e-mails in a while and after what her father had told her, she realized that she may be missing something, which is why she decided to check the e-mail that had the game attached to it.
Her eyes widened when she saw a new e-mail from the person named nessie97. She opened the e-mail, surprised to see the Halloween DLC inside it. It seemed to have been sent about three days ago. Sam had no idea how she had managed to miss it and she wondered whether she should contact Vanessa, but decided against it. However, she had to wonder why Vanessa had sent her the full game and the DLC. Was it really because her father had told Vanessa about Sam's fascination with the Five Nights at Freddy's games?
Sam shook her head, noting that she'd be dealing with this later on. Her current plan was to go to Freddy's after it closed to talk to Freddy and his friends about what she had found out about Glitchtrap. She didn't have to work today, so she decided to spend the few hours she had by playing another level of Help Wanted. She had figured she'd get at least one or two more Tapes to see whether there was anything
Taking a deep breath, she found herself back in the game. She glanced at Glitchtrap, who just waved back at her and shook her head, deciding to ignore him. Instead, she went to the next segment of the game, Vent Repair.
''Okay…'' Sam muttered, trying to figure out what exactly she was supposed to do. All she knew was that she was inside a vent with three openings and that she needed to repair it. She pressed the button next to her, causing HandUnit to explain everything to her. As she listened to him, she also started looking around for any Tapes, relieved to find one on behind the pipes on the floor to the right.
''Welcome to Vent Repair. Fazbear Entertainment prides itself on having the most comfortable facilities. Each facility is set to a perfect 72 degrees all the time. The 4 active indicator lights mean we have a well functioning ventilation system. Your headlamp should protect you from any critters who may have stumbled into the docks. As a certified technician, you should need no instruction. However, in case of an emergency, it is important to remember that as a vent technician you should never, under any circumstances, attempt to-''
Sam was surprised when HandUnit suddenly started to glitch out. She had to wonder whether it was part of the game or something more… unnatural. Everything turned dark, with the vent in front of her opening. She saw a glowing button and pressed it, revealing a lever. The moment she flipped it, she was startled by none other but Mangle, who was scared off by the light on her helmet turning on. Taking a moment to collect herself, Sam realized that she'd be fending off Mangle while repairing the vents.
''I can't imagine how a person with a fear of being stuck in a vent would feel during this segment,'' she muttered to herself as the vent to her right opened.
She grabbed the Faz Token that was stuck in the gears at the bottom of the second vent and quickly turned to the first vent to make sure Mangle stayed where they were. The second vent started sparking and Sam realized that she may not have a lot of time to fix it. It took her a moment, but she did find a switch at the top of the vent, leading her to opening another lever after she flipped it. She then flipped the lever, quickly turning to Mangle, who was nowhere to be seen. She then heard pipes steaming.
''Now what?'' she asked, reaching out for the valve on her right. Fortunately, this was the right thing to do, as she could turn it, but then she heard more hissing noises, with steam coming from her bottom left. She turned back to the first vent, unable to see Mangle, and then turned the valve on the bottom left. She then looked back up, noticing the steam coming from the panel above and pressed the button on the top.
''So far, so good… Mangle is still nowhere to be seen and I'm still alive,'' Sam muttered to herself as she looked around for the next mechanical issue to fix. The vent to her left slowly opened and she turned her attention to it, while still making sure Mangle was nowhere in sight. There was a box with four buttons on the side, as well as a hatch. Sam opened it, once again making sure Mangle won't come from the other vents, but the sounds she heard made her a tiny bit anxious. She had no idea where the animatronic was and she was completely open to an attack.
She gazed down the hatch, noticing a colour-changing light at the bottom of the vent, figuring that it was connected to the buttons on the side. She gulped when she suddenly heard banging coming from behind her and quickly turned back. However, Mangle wasn't in the right vent. She turned back to the hatch, taking a moment to memorize the colour sequence.
''Green, red, orange, blue…'' she muttered to herself and quickly pressed the buttons. To her relief, the lever appeared and she quickly flipped it. She sighed in relief when the vents closed.
''A perfect 72 degrees, good job. See you next time.''
''That was tense…'' Sam took a deep breath, calming herself down. She had her fair share of experiences with air vents, but she never had to deal with anything like this. After reclaiming her prize, a bottle of Foxy Cove Cooler, she returned to the main hub and selected the next level.
She found herself once again surrounded by vents, but this time, it seemed like she was inside some kind of familiar room, even though she couldn't recall why it was so familiar to her.
''Let's see…'' Sam muttered as she looked down, trying to figure out what she was supposed to do this time. She saw several boxes around her and attempted to open them, only to notice a glowing button. ''Idiot…'' she muttered as she pressed it.
''Welcome to Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. It has been zero days since last incident. Emergency ventilation repairs may be necessary to reach the boiler room on sub basement G. We apologize for the claustrophobic accommodations of the secondary service elevator, but the comfort of the main elevator is well above your pay grade. Now, let's get to work.''
''Oh, this is Circus Baby's…'' Sam felt a bit embarrassed that she forgot. She shook her head. ''This is not my day.''
She waited for the elevator-like vent to lower, wondering what animatronic she'd be confronting this time. Since it was Circus Baby's, she imagined it would be someone from the Funtime Gang.
''MOTION TRIGGER – BREAKER ROOM.''
Only one vent opened while Sam looked around for another Tape. She was greeted with four buttons and four fuse boxes in front of her, each connected by a wire. One fuse box had the light on.
''So, I just connect them, right?'' she pressed the button at the end, which turned the light on the fuse box from green to red, causing another fuse box to light up. ''Ah, nice!''
She quickly completed the task, connecting each button to a fuse box.
''Well done,'' HandUnit congratulated her and the vent closed. Then, the vent behind her opened and she found the fuse boxes further down the vent, making it a bit harder for her to figure out which one was which. Still, it didn't take her too long to press the correct buttons. ''Well done.''
Sam squinted as the third vent opened. It was quite dark inside, but a spark of light revealed Ennard hiding way back in the vent. She groaned, ''Oh, great…''
Admittedly, she was fine with seeing Ennard, but she realized that she might be put on a time limit in this case. She had no idea whether the light would work on Ennard and she also couldn't find any Tapes, despite probably being at the end of the level.
''Okay, just stay calm, make no mistake and don't let Ennard get to you,'' she told herself, despite her heart beating rapidly when she saw Ennard being suddenly on top of the vent as she pressed a button. Fortunately, he was still far enough and she used every flash of light to figure out which button connected to which fuse box. In the end, she managed to connect all of them and sighed in relief when the vent started closing.
''Finally… aagh!'' Sam screamed when Ennard suddenly appeared right in front of her, attempting to enter the elevator. ''Go away! Go away!''
Luckily for her, the vent shut down and Sam had to take another deep breath, feeling freaked out. She looked around. ''Now what?'' A feeling of dread washed over her when she realized she was being lowered down. ''Wait, it's not over?''
As she was lowered down, she saw a huge gear turning and gulped. She realized that things would take a turn for the worse in this level. Even though she was just playing a video game, she could imagine what would happen to a person if they got stuck between the gears. Nothing more but flesh, blood and broken bones would be left, grinded to a paste. She looked around, finding another Faz Token in a box and quickly grabbed it.
''MOTION TRIGGER – VENTILATION SHAFT.''
Sam inhaled sharply, focusing on the task at hand. She was surrounded by gears, with all of the vents being open. Her heart almost stopped beating when she saw Ennard peering between the wires and gears, too close for her comfort. He didn't attack her though.
''Okay, Sam, focus! What is wrong in this level?'' she told herself as she looked around again. ''Some… some of the gears aren't turning…'' She found a lose gear on the plate below her and realized she needed to place them in the correct spot, all while she was being observed by Ennard. Hands shaking, she started placing gears from one side to the other, feeling that she was doing the whole sequence blindly. ''Com'n, com'n…''
''Well done.''
Somehow, she managed to complete the puzzle without being attacked. This time, she waited a moment before she celebrated, only to groan when she realized that the elevator was being lowered again.
''Screw this game,'' she grumbled in frustration. She looked around, searching for more Faz Tokens and Tapes, but there weren't any. Eventually, she reached the third level of the game.
''MOTION TRIGGER – BOILER ROOM.''
She rose an eyebrow when the vent opened, revealing pipes with buttons on them and flames surging through the vents. ''Why do I have the feeling that this place is gonna be set on fire?''
The next part had her spending several minutes turning the pipes in the correct order to connect them. She hadn't seen Ennard, but she imagined him lurking somewhere in the vents, waiting for her to make a mistake. After completing the pipe puzzle, she was rewarded with a glowing button that caused fire to erupt in the vent in front of her, followed by screeching.
''I guess this means that I burned Ennard,'' she said, startled.
''Well done, a perfect 72 degrees. See you next time.''
Sam sighed in relief as the vents closed and she claimed her prize, a Bonnie plushie. However, she felt disappointed that she only found one Tape in the whole segment. Finding herself at the main hub, she went to the Tape Room to listen to the Tape 11.
''Today was my last day of beta testing and the anomaly that I've been seeing is nowhere to be found. But after inspecting some of the files, it seems that it's attached itself to these logs. My logs. That can't be an accident. So now I have to make a choice. Do I leave these logs here for you to find or do I try to purge this thing myself by destroying the logs. I've chosen the latter.''
''I see…'' Sam muttered. ''This explains why Glitchtrap wants me to gather the Tapes. He is somehow attached to them.'' Shaking her head, she took the VR headset off and checked the time on her smartphone. She was surprised when only around 15 minutes passed, as the game felt much longer than that. Realizing that she still had enough time to spare, she figured she could continue playing for a bit longer and decided to try the Blacklight Level of the Vent Repair segment. She gazed back at Glitchtrap for a moment, who just waved back and then entered Mangle's level.
When it came to the Blacklight Levels, she would do take a break and then try them after she listened to the Tapes, just to check whether she missed something. She also managed to complete each of them without much difficulty, her favorite being the FNaF 3 Blacklight Level, where she had to play in the burning horror attraction. She did run into a few issues during the PlushBaby and Funtime Foxy level of Dark Rooms, though, as well as having some trouble with Freddy and Foxy during the Parts & Service segment, causing her to almost quit. She still pulled through.
As for Vent Repair, Mangle became harder to deal with, especially considering how all of the vents were open and there seemed to also be a second Mangle lurking inside them, moving much faster. However, that level didn't cause Sam as much trouble as Ennard's level did.
''This is a nightmare!'' Sam said, her jaw dropping when she found herself standing completely upside down. Endoskeletons were staring at her, blocking her view. Sam shook her head, feeling completely disoriented, but was determined to complete the level. As she was lowered to the next part of the game, she was also given a lovely view of what appeared to be a Freddy plushie stuck in the vents. As she progressed, she realized that animatronic parts were scattered all over the place, first being greeted by a Foxy head and then having to deal with Springtrap crawling towards her.
Is it just me or does he look like he's desperate to escape rather than murder me? Sam stared at Springtrap, her jaw slightly dropped as the vent closed. She still kept her eyes open for any Faz Tokens and Tapes, barely avoiding being jumpscared by Ennard. Fortunately, she did find another Faz Token in the eye of a broken Bonnet on the left side as she was transported from the first puzzle area to the second and later on another in the head of Nightmare Fredbear during the descent to the Breaker Room when looking in the middle open panel.
''Yes! I did it!'' Sam cheered when she eventually managed to start the fire, feeling much better now that she found another Tape and took care of Ennard. She then promptly screamed when Ennard lunged at her, the elevator falling. Her heart was still racing as the game ended and it took her a moment to recover. ''Never again…'' She claimed her prize, a Chica plushie, and was relieved when she found herself back at the main hub.
''Hello? Can you hear me?''
''You are really enjoying this, aren't you?'' Sam asked in a deadpan tone as Glitchtrap waved at her. She then entered the Tape Room, noting that Glitchtrap was behind her. Ignoring him, she played Tape 12.
''I can't delete them. By creating a protected area to store these logs apart from the game, I effectively gave this thing a safe place to hide itself. It's in here now. I may not be able to delete it. But I might be able to do something else now that it's attached itself. I have an idea.''
''So, this is how the Tape Room came to be,'' Sam said, glancing at Glitchtrap. ''I wonder what Tape Girl's idea was. She wanted to delete you, didn't she? How did you feel about that?''
She waited for a moment, but there was no response, not even the cheeky 'Hello? Can you hear me?'. Sam rose an eyebrow, giving Glitchtrap a curious look as he stared back at her. Suddenly, the room around her started to glitch out. Sam couldn't move at all, only watching in shock as the room shifted between the Tape Room and the main hub, her surroundings turning purple. Pain surged through her head, but it was lesser than before. There was static, but it was weaker, and the noise was replaced by whispering, but she couldn't understand who was whispering or what they were saying. Grimacing in pain, Sam put her hands on the VR headset, deciding to take it off and end this conversation, when she suddenly heard a voice, a whisper clearer than the ones she heard before.
''I always come back…''
Sam stared at Glitchtrap in pure shock, her eyes wide. Her surroundings turned back to normal, but Glitchtrap was still there, waving at her. The virtual bunny could see Sam's eyes glinting for a moment and her mind racing, trying to make sense of what just happened. Her eyes then narrowed, but she still was in utter shock.
''William…?''
Mulder was putting on all thing’s virtual reality with Scully’s help as she had bought it for him as an early Christmas gift that she preloaded with Five Nights at Freddy’s. A crazy game where there are animatronics out to kill you around every corner and you are forced to survive until 5am.
He asked her once more “Are you sure this is safe Sculls? I mean the thought of some wild animatronics coming to kill me? It sounds like an X-File. Right up there with Mr. Chuckleteet. If you ask me”, he remarked as Scully seemed to scoff “That’s why I want you to play it. It’s a mix of some crazy X-File like the time we chased fear, which I still don’t believe you about to this day. Just think of it as that case mixed with that place you were stuck in years ago. Just you won’t be without your limbs unless you let them catch you….”
Mulder seemed to think about it and then grinned just as Scully got all the parts connected and ready to go “So, I now have the power to see fear as opposed to it being a virus and I have the power to kick it in the ass?” he questioned her
“That’s one way to see it, Mulder” Scully spoke with a grin as she flicked the game on and sat down on the couch to watch him as he started to play the game.
Mulder started to move around as the game started “These animatronics seem okay but creepy. I don’t trust them, Scully. They look like they are up to something” he started to go for his firearm that was in the holster as he felt safer with his hand on the butt of the gun as he looked around forgetting he was in Virtual reality for a moment before moving off of it and laughing before growing really serious “Wait, what the hell is that watching me? Is that a fox Scully? Its got a damn hook..Scullaaay?”
Scully at this point got up, soon she was beside him before gently touching him, then his firearm. She was going to remove it for fear he might react and shoot out a window or the computer “Mulder, it's me and they can’t hurt you. The game isn’t real. Just hit play” her voice louder than the sound around him so he could hear her now. She then pulled away and placed his gun down on the coffee table before sitting back down on the couch to watch him once more.
“Fine, I will play the game” Mulder finally spoke as if hitting the buttons in the game. “This doesn’t seem so bad, dodge them using trick and survive. I was always good at surviving. Ask the government. I got this” he spoke with confidence and hit the play button now
Soon he went into full FBI mode, moving around the room turning and hitting invisible buttons “Wait a minute! How in the? No..No….don't you dare! Oh my god, Scully? Sculllaaaay” Mulders hands moving in a more rapid motion now “That damn purple rabbit, it needs to die Scully! No…no…Oh my God….” He yelled as he was starting to freak out now “This wasn’t taught in the academy! Scully? Scully help me!! Where is my gun!? Scully? Is that a giant chicken! Why does its cupcake look sinister!! What the hell?!”
Meanwhile, Scully was just sitting there and giggling at how he was playing the game as she rarely saw him like this. Only when she was in danger of being hurt, that’s the only time he acted as so. At least that she knew of
“My gun….I don’t have my damn gun. The light isn’t working. What do I do!! Oh, …oh shit” Mulder's hands were moving faster now as he seemed to slam every button he could in the game “The damn rabbit…oh shit The chicken!...oh shit….Scully! I think I’m going to…OH MY GOD, what the hell is that?! He seemed to trail off and grew quiet, eerie quiet
Scully was about to stand up and wonder until the computer screen showed that Mulder had won the first night, By the skin of his teeth, but still he had done it.
“5…5 am?... Did I win Scully? I can’t…. believe it. I….won?” Mulder spoke as he seemed to fall into a sit on the floor as if in defeat and went quiet.
Scully rushed to him now, starting to peel off the VR headset and tossed it aside “Mulder?!” she questioned as he spoke again “The purple rabbit, I thought it killed me. They all tried to kill me…” he spoke staring off as he sat there.
She laughed slightly “It’s okay Mulder. It's not real, but I am. She touched his cheek and smiled as he finally looked up at her “So I did win. I got the best prize of all too” he moved to kiss her softly “I swear to always protect you even from animatronics” he said softly with a grin “that or be bait so you can run off before I shoot them in the nuts”
Scully had kissed him back and laughed “My hero. And…how about, I make you a nice cup of coffee? I think you had enough excitement for today.”
Mulder nodded “Sounds good, just let me…Oh boy, I almost threw up there” he had gripped her arm a moment and then let go “I’m good. I’ll be right there.” Scully was already standing now. She patted him on the back and it almost looked like she glitched and her smile turned into a sinister grin before she moved away from him.
“Take your time Mulder. We have all eternity to play and make your life a living hell” her voice seeming much deeper than normal as Scully was almost to the kitchen.
“Wait, what did you say, Scully? Are you okay?” he asked as he was thinking the game was getting to his mind. Then again, they did warn of night terrors and possible real-life manifestations as side effects of playing the game. He might have to forgo his gun tonight as he always kept it nearby when he slept just in case
Scully had answered him from the kitchen “I said, take your time. I have all day as I took off today to stay home with you since I am sure we will be busy soon enough with Christmas coming up” she seemed to repeat as he could hear he banging around and getting the coffee going.
Finally, he got himself off the floor, starting to walk towards the kitchen when something near the window caught his eye and he stopped. Wait…was that a large purple bunny outside their house? No, it couldn’t be...
(Okay my thanks here: Thanks to my girlfriend for the story idea. Thanks to Markiplier as I heavily funneled his personality into Older Mulder playing...lol. Thank you to FNAF..as I love the mythos and lastly thank you to you guys as I wouldn’t have left it here for you to read except that many ask that I do. and lastly, @suitablyaggrieved. wanted to be tagged in it when I was done...)
My Antisepticeye Theory
Notes
“Lore Seán” is Jack, and Seán is “real life Seán.”
While I tried to find as many videos as possible, most social media posts will be excluded. Many of the captions have since changed, bios and avatars have gone back to normal, and posts are buried deep. Many of them are irrelevant at this point.
So everything is easy to read, things originally in zalgo text will be bolded.
This is the longest post I’ve ever made. I’m so sorry. It’s all under the cut.
Some of this probably sucks. Feel free to prove me wrong.
It’s a long shot, but I’d love to hear @therealjacksepticeye‘s opinion on this stuff.
2016
May 1
Reading your comments #90
In a reading your comments video, someone asks “What do you think of antiseptic?” and Jack says “WHERE?! Don’t joke about that!”
While this is a joke, it’s also the first acknowledgement of Anti.
July 10
Welcome to the Game #2
Jackieboy Man’s first appearance.
August 11
Title: The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Marvin’s Magic
Marvin the Magnificent’s first appearance.
September 15
Title: The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Dr. Schneeplestein
Dr. Schneeplestein’s first appearance.
October 10
Anti’s first official appearance.
Title: THE START OF THE NIGHTMARE | Five Night at Freddy’s Sister Location #1
The bottom of the description reads “You’ve waited a long time, now I wake” and in the source code, one of the keywords is “snooping.” (I think that the keyword was added at a later date, but it is still significant)
The description suggests that Anti has been watching us for awhile, or at least knows that we created him. He’s calling us out in the source code, or maybe just observing.
A lot of this first video is Anti testing us, seeing how we react. He’s new at this point, so he doesn’t know much about the community and how we work.
October 13
Title: THEY HAVE AWOKEN | Five Night at Freddy’s Sister Location #2
Description says “follow the signs, release me.” In the source code, one of the keywords is “curious I see.”
Again, Anti is testing the waters, seeing what we do, how far we go for clues. He’s seeing if we obey him, if we are willing to “release” him out of pure curiosity.
When he says “release me” he’s asking us to follow him. Us believing in him/obeying him gives him power, which would help him escape.
As far as where he is trapped, I think that is Jack’s computer. This is why the face-cam can still glitch without Anti having a physical form. He’s manipulating the camera itself.
October 17
Title: BE THE BAT! | Batman Arkham VR
The whiteboard behind Jack says “I’M HERE.”
October 18
Title: SOMETHING INSIDE | Five Night at Freddy’s Sister Location #3
At 5:26, the glitch has Anti saying “I am near.” There is also multiple glitches that include Anti laughing.
In the description there is “I see you understand now, keep watching” and a keyword is “stronger.”
Anti has learned that we will still watch, even if it hurts Jack, because we are curious. This following has made him stronger.
Also in the description, there is a link to a video.
Title: SOON
In this video, there is general static, creepy music, and children laughing. Text that says “I’M HERE” shows up. The description says “Very good, you may be worthy” and Jack also left a comment that says “I’m glad I have your attention now.”
Anti now has the strength to make entire videos. He doesn’t have a physical form yet, but he is able to all of this from within in a computer. He has figured out how far we go for clues, and is taking full advantage of that.
The next video of the 18th also includes a small appearance.
Title: Temple of No!
At 11:10 Jack says “We all know about Anti don’t we?” and there is a slight glitch. This is important because it is a direct acknowledgment of Anti.
October 19
Tile: TOO MUCH WEIRD | Accounting (HTC Vive video)
Whiteboard reads “SOON.”
Title: PLEASE DON’T KILL ME | Hello Neighbor #2
9:45, the game glitches and then crashes, and Anti is seen in the face-cam.
The way Jack reacts to Anti messing with him is important. He almost pointedly ignores it/plays it off.
October 22
Title: MERGED TOGETHER | Five Night at Freddy’s Sister Location # 4
At 1:19, Jack complains that his eye is itching. This is the first time that Anti influences Jack’s body.
7:32, Anti says “I’m here.”
10:06, intense glitching, and then Jack slumps in his chair.
The end clip is Jack saying “I don’t feel so good.”
Description says “We are merged together now as one in Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location” and at the bottom it says “It’s almost time, I grow stronger.”
Jack becoming sick/weak happens after Anti says “I’m here.” This is implies that Anti has “merged together” with Jack, and is presenting as a virus.
Keywords, which were added in 2017, are “The doctor” and “can’t save.”
October 24
Title: SWIMMING IN POOP | Pipe Job (HTC Vive)
The end clip has Jack super close the the camera saying “Hi there, my name’s Jack” with a glitch after.
This glitch and the slight laugh he does suggests that this is Anti imitating Jack. Almost like he’s getting used to piloting his body.
October 26
Title: MEET THE YANGS | Guts and Glory #5
6:57, Jack coughs and there is a slight glitch. This suggests that Anti was the one to make Jack cough. He is making him sick.
October 28
Title: ALONE AND AFRAID | Layers of Fear #1
22:08, Anti laughs, and Jack acknowledges it. He says “The hell was that weird sound? Just came from my gully hole.” Again, he is pointedly ignoring Anti. He doesn’t say talk about it beyond this. More importantly, Anti is laughing through Jack.
The description says “It’s time to say goodbye” which emphasizes that Anti is taking over Jack’s body.
October 29
Title: SORE FROM LAUGHING | Stuntfest #2
2:19, there is a glitch when Jack coughs. Again, Anti is presenting as a virus.
So why is Anti presenting as a virus? Well, if he is a demon, then he is “possessing” Jack’s body. I think that the way he takes over his body is systematic. He takes over the immune system first so Jack is weaker and can’t fight back. Then he takes over the nervous system, which we will see in the following pieces of evidence. Simultaneously, he is a virus in Jack’s computer. He corrupts camera footage, crashes games, and screws up text.
October 30
Title: SCARIER THAN IT LOOKS | The Cubicle (HTC Vive)
White board says “DON’T WATCH.” This is generally out of character for Anti, who gains power from a following. So is it Anti who wrote this? While many people think it was Jack, I think it was Anti. He’s testing us and mocking us. He wants to see if we follow everything he says, or if we’re just curious enough to want to see what happens next. He knows that we are powerless.
3:47, Anti appears standing behind Jack. This is not an actual physical form. Instead, Anti is glitching the camera footage to make himself appear to be there. However, it is still significant that we see a full shot of what Anti looks like. He sees himself as a version of Jack.
7:24, the screen goes black and we hear “1, 2, Anti’s coming for you” and reversed audio of “and he’s dead.” This is Anti mocking us again, because he knows that we will continue to watch, even as Jack dies.
In the end clip, Anti stands in front of the camera saying “I have come” and when it switches back to normal, Jack looks genuinely scared and says “I could have sworn I just heard something.” Jack is really starting to notice that something is amiss.
The description says “Tomorrow ends him.”
Title: THE SIGNS ARE THERE | Layers of Fear #2
13:03, Jack talks about foreshadowing, and Anti glitches in to wink at us. Not a whole lot of significance, just one of the communities favorite gifs. ;)
The description says “It’s almost time.”
October 31
Title: SAY GOODBYE
Because there are so many glitches in this video, and because Anti is in a good chunk of it, I will only be discussing the parts that I find the most important.
4:21, Jack comments that the smell of the pumpkin isn’t making him feel good. There is intense glitching, and his nose starts bleeding. This is Anti affecting his immune/respiratory system. When he appears on screen after Jack leaves, that is him glitching the camera.
6:34, this glitch includes Jack twitching/yelling. It also has Anti reaching out and touching Jack. This is both aspects of Anti’s power shown at once. He is affecting Jack’s nervous system (rather severely), and the camera.
8:28, Jack hears banging/walking around in his apartment and walks off screen to investigate. Anti glitches himself in. The auditory allusion for Jack is Anti messing with his head, and for us it’s Anti messing with the audio.
10:37 starts Anti’s first major appearance. We all know what happens here, but my explanation is that Anti gained full control of Jack’s nervous system.
During this appearance we hear Jack say “help me” which means he is still alive, but is unable to escape and defeat Anti. Anti tells us “you could have stopped me, but you just watched as this happened.”
In the description it says “you wanted me so here I am.”
We all watched this video despite the warnings we were given, and Anti grew stronger because of this.
In the keywords, which were added in 2017, it says “I’m back” and “good puppet.”
To summarize 2016, Anti was brought into existence by the community. He grew stronger through that following. He infected Jack’s computer, then Jack himself. He presents as a virus because he attacks the immune system first. He eventually took over Jack’s body and trapped Jack in a place where he couldn’t fight back.
2017
January 25
Title: I’M SO SORRY | Detention #2
3:45, face-cam glitches and audio distorts as Jack reads “forgotten, or just too afraid to remember?” In this glitch, Anti is pointing at the camera, like he is accusing us.
The description says “forgotten, or just too afraid to remember.”
This phrase suggests that Jack has suppressed the events in October 2016.
February 4
Title: BROKEN INSIDE | Detention #3
There are two glitches in this video, but, more importantly, the description says “broken spirit, let me out” and one of the keywords is “antisepticeye.”
The fact that the description is in zalgo, and that a keyword is antisepticeye leads me to believe that Jack somehow found a temporary way to suppress Anti. This angered Anti, and he now wants to be let out again. Remember, all he has to do to get more strength is gain a following.
February 16
Title: BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS | Detention #4
The title itself is again pointing a finger at us for Jack’s defeat.
27:49, as Jack reads “memories are like a mirror, reflecting the true likeness of your soul” there are glitches and audio distortion. This is more of Anti blaming us and mocking us.
28:01, Jack reads “maybe you still want to forget, maybe you’re still afraid” in his Anti voice. Anti knows that he scared us and that we underestimated him.
The description reads “betrayal neglect mistake.” This can be taken as Anti saying we betrayed Jack by making the mistake of neglecting him. By neglecting him and paying attention to Anti, we gave Anti more power.
A keyword is “antisepticeye” again.
March 8
Title: ALWAYS WATCHING
At Jack’s Pax East panel, he played a video before he went on stage. As we all know, Anti appeared in this. Here are the things that I found important.
@broadway-of-life deciphered the beginning audio that was spliced together from previous videos as “Haha. Jack is dead. You’re too late.” I think Anti is bluffing. However, he did take over Jack’s body again.
“I’ve been here this entire time, keeping an eye on things.” This is significant because it confirms that Anti was never truly defeated, he was at least lurking in the background.
After Anti says “I’m always there, always watching” you can hear Jack say “help me” very faintly.
The description of the actual video says “you thought I was gone. Tried to replace me. I’m always here.” By “replace” he means that we tried to go back to Jack.
April 11
Title: The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Chase Brody
This is Chase’s first appearance. In this video we learn that his wife, Stacy, left him, and that he has two kids.
June 12
Title: SPREADING THE SICKNESS | Epidemic
8:40, when Jack says “laughter is the best medicine for death” there is a glitch and Anti’s laughter.
June 24
Title: TRUST ME, I’M A DOCTOR | Bio Inc. Redemption #4
In the keywords, “cracks.”
July 31
Title: TOUGHER THAN EXPECTED | The Escapists 2 #2
Description says “need a doctor?”
August 3
Title: KILL JACKSEPTICEYE | Bio Inc Redemption
This video has the most individual glitches, so I will again only analyze the important parts.
0:36, Jack gets sick and runs off screen. Dr. Schneeplestein takes over the video. This confirms that Shneep knows who Jack is.
2:57, Schneep says that Jack has mood swings where he’s like “a completely different person.” This suggests that Anti and Jack inhabit the same body, and they alternate control.
4:20 (HA), Schneep confirms that he saved Chase’s life after his suicide attempt.
6:51, Schneep says that he ALMOST lost Jack once before. This further confirms that Anti didn’t actually kill Jack.
7:14, Schneep’s voice distorts as he says “system failure” and at 7:26 he says “once one goes down, they all go down.” This is more evidence for my theory that Anti takes over bodies systematically.
8:05, Schneep begins to acknowledge Anti’s existence. This makes him the most knowledgeable ego so far.
8:42, Anti’s appearance begins.
Anti says “they all follow me” and “we’ve always been in control.” This is basically Anti stating that he has control of all of the egos, and that he can get them to do whatever he wants. Furthermore, he calls them “my puppets.”
The description says “so concerned for your little boy, pay attention next time, who’s next?” and the keywords include the following “save him, virus, no, puppets, no strings on me.”
October 31
Title: The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Jameson Jackson
This is JJ’s first appearance. However, the end of the video features an appearance from Anti. I actually do not believe JJ was ever good. He’s separate from Anti, but he was created by Anti.
Text appears during Anti’s appearance that says “still here, still watching, puppets, watching, smile” and JJ rips off his mustache while smiling.
November 22
Title: MEMORIES OF UNDERTALE | Heartbound
It is important to note that this is not an official appearance, but the audio distortion while Jack reads lines is really important. Here are the stand outs.
“I was like you once.”
“He’s not coming back. You did this.”
“What kind of person are you?” The original line is “What kind of person you are,” but Jack’s audio is glitched.
“You can’t stop me.”
“You’ll get your chance.”
December 17-18
Title: Overnight Watch
So this is one of the biggest events ever. I do not have a video of the full night, and therefore I cannot analyze it properly. If you have a video like this, please send it to me so I can update this section.
2018
May 4
Title: THE DOCTOR IS BACK | Gastric Bypass, Liposuction Surgery
18:56, Schneep bursts into the room and Jack says “Who are you?” This tells us that Jack doesn’t know who Schneep is, even though he saved Jack’s life.
May 5
Title: WATCH THIS WITH THE LIGHTS OFF | Stories Untold Chapter 1
“You are entering a realm that is unusual.” (See May 14)
22:06, Jack’s door opens behind him and he glitches into the TV.
May 6
Title: Barry Has A Secret
12:36, a first person sequence where Jack (or maybe Anti) catches us and presumably attacks us. My vote is that this is Anti catching us snooping. And we weren’t supposed to know that he’s back yet.
Title: THEY ARE LISTENING | Stories Untold Chapter 2
“This door leads to a place unknown to you before.” (See May 14)
30:29, floating cameras that look like eyes are watching the camera.
May 7
Title: THEY’RE HERE | Stories Untold Chapter 3
“You take a picture of a man. When you check the film, you realize the man is not in the picture.”
40:58, we hear “Jack. Jack. This is Chase. You need to wake up.” There is also morse code that translates to “where am I?” Obviously, Jack has been defeated once again by Anti. This happened during KJSE. However, Jack is unaware of his defeat this time.
May 8
Title: IT WAS ALL CONNECTED! | Stories Untold Chapter 4
“You see a man in front of you. This man looks strange, not like any man you have seen before. Suddenly, you realize you were looking in a mirror.” (See May 14)
45:07, Jack wakes up from a nightmare and says “I remember what he did to me.” This means that he either woke up from his coma, or just remembered what happened and is dreaming about it.
May 9
Title: Try to Fall Asleep!
3:33, Marvin is seen in the TV static.
11:15, Marvin is in the static.
11:20, “Jack you have to” in static. This statement mimics Chase’s from Stories Untold Chapter 3.
11:42, Jack’s lighting turns red.
16:41, JJ in static after Jack says “can a doctor revive me?” This is JJ mocking Jack.
17:34, Marvin in static. These appearances are Marvin attempting to get through to Jack.
May 11
Title: TIE - A Game About Depression
In this video, the most important thing is that Chase confirms the fact that Jack is currently in a coma.
“Foreshadowing” is a keyword. Not sure what to do with this. It could just relate to the game.
May 14
Title: Dark Silence
“You are entering a realm which is unusual” Chase is seen walking through hallways, confused and lost. There are lots of strange sounds.
“This door leads to a place unknown to you before” Chase obviously doesn’t know where he is.
“You see a man in front of you. This man looks strange, not like any man you have seen before. Suddenly, you realize you were looking in a mirror“ Chase sees Anti at the end of a hallway. He doesn’t know who he is, and is confused when Anti turns around. Chase sees himself at the end of the hallway. We know that it is Anti in Jack’s body, but Chase doesn’t.
In this sequence, we hear children crying and screaming. When Chase see’s Anti, he asks “Where are they? What do you want from me?”
At this point, we do not know the status of Chase’s kids. It is easy to assume that Anti took them.
The video ends with Anti running at Chase.
May 16
Title: EXPLORING AN ABANDONED HOSPITAL | Exiles
Jack wakes up confused and playing a game about being in a hospital.
14:30, Jack’s eyes are bleeding and there’s whispering that is repeating “it’s all your fault, you did this.”
This video is Jack waking up after Chase’s disappearance. Anti comes after him again.
May 22
Title: I AM SO CREEPED OUT BY THIS! | First Winter
Two glitches with Jack bleeding out of his eyes.
26:02, there is a glitch as Jack says “let me out.” This is Jack asking to be let out again.
(Note: I am skipping Akinator and Transference. I do not find them important)
October 14
Title: 3 SCARY GAMES, 1 VIDEO #7
30:43, face-cam glitch and audio distortion as Jack says “time to take off the masks.”
Anti is tired of “playing pretend.”
October 22
Title: THIS GAME SCARED THE **** OUT OF ME | Watson-Scott Test #1
The end clip has Jack asking “are you playing a game right now?” In my opinion, this is Anti. He’s asking us if this is all a game to us, if we take him seriously or not.
December 1
Title: TIME IS BROKEN | Umfend
The title itself references a twitter bio of Jack’s on Halloween 2017 (JJ’s appearance).
End clip, Anti asks “do you remember?” Accompanied by a glitch. He’s mocking us once again.
December 16
Title: QUIT THE GAME TO WIN
Anti stares at the camera and comes off as unsettling and creepy with out a single glitch. His eye twitches in FUCKING MORSE CODE that says “Anti.”
The end of the video has Anti saying “you passed the test, now let’s move onto the next phase” which tells us that Anti is toying with us again. He’s testing us further, because he already knows so much about us.
December 18
Title: Take Your Eyes Off The Screen
The title was originally “Simulacra Pipe Dreams.” Anti changed it.
The thumbnail had “2019″ in the corner very faintly. It has since changed.
By giving us a vague date, Anti has made us want him to appear, has made us excited to see him. He’s going to have a lot of power during his next appearance.
#anti theories#long post#I am so sorry for how long this is#antisepticeye#jacksepticeye#jacksepticegos#golly gee
