Rereading the 6th and 7th books is so hilarious if you focus on Hugh’s POV, like, he’s constantly getting ditched so the other characters can have their conversations in private

--Walks in on Haplo and Alfred’s “chosen/choose” conversation --He and Alfred are both there helping Vasu prep Abri for invasion, Vasu offers Alfred a meal and they just ditch Hugh??? I GUESS??? a;ldksjfas;df “don’t mind me guys, i don’t need to eat or anything” --fourth wheeling when they’re all looking over the battlements at the end and the other three are standing there holding hands and HUGH IS JUST STANDING THERE BY HIMSELF
