The small flower stapled his leaves and looked at the other with a small smirk. “I am all for satisfying curiosity, so let us get a gist of this information in your head.

You have to separate soul traits into 7 different categories. Patience Bravery Integrity Perseverance Kindness Justice and DETERMINATION.

All of them hold certain advantages to them, just as well as disadvantages, really. Some are more active, others take a lot more passive stance.

Patience souls will be gifted with endless amounts of calm and collect, usually keeping their head on their shoulders, a real boulder for others to hold onto in trying times, even if their personal skills don’t step into an active territory at all!

Bravery is the complete opposite. Rash and very finicky. These souls are filled with courage and drive, which can result in them to be too hastily caught up in adventures they have no control over. These souls almost entirely depend on activity and thus their owners, while definitely not fearless, will always chose to overcome their hurdles, no matter the cost.

Integrity souls are beyond interesting in my opinion. Their power thrives from inside, a lot like patience, but it doesn’t necessarily interact with any outside force. There doesn’t need to be a situation that you need to use Integrity on, it just persists within your mind like a constant description of your very being, you can decide to enact it obviously or keep it within you. Integrity souls will strictly and passionate do what they deem to be ‘right’ for example, speaking the truth. Doing right by others. Keeping to their moral base set pretty much. As this differs from person to person, Integrity souls will have a certain dynamic, but really they are a kaleidoscope of choices and actions that simply have no easy explanation. No two Integrity souls will have the same inclinations.

Perseverance souls function a tad bit like DETERMINATION based once, take out that the effort of your actions is in a rather more passive realm. While DETERMINATION would push you forwards towards a goal, action or simply through a certain time, for change or development, a pure force of drive pretty much, Perseverance is the strict extreme force to persist. However dire a situation may be, this person will not fall to their knees and simply take it. They’d try whatever necessary to triumph. It’s pretty much a pure tenacity to thwart whatever steps in your way. The words ‘This is too hard.’ simply don’t exist in Perseverance souls. They will never give in.

Kindness souls are filled with the want to give themselves away. That is what makes them just a tad hard to keep together. People who have this soul trait inside of them predominantly, will profusely spread themselves thin and thrive from the fact that their sacrifice has helped others to achieve what they needed or in their opinion ‘absolutely deserved’. Their power lies in complete dependence to others, which probably brings them closest to Monster Souls, in my opinion at least. Kindness souls do have a certain danger of ‘falling down’ if they aren’t able to find a purpose anymore. Their power is also sadly a great restriction on themselves, because these people will love to live their life away for others.

Justice souls thrive from a very similar place. Differing strictly from Kindness, a Justice soul doesn’t need to give themselves away, but they rather want to invent a way to bring the truth forth and cause the party they deem to be worthy of it to reach their ultimate purpose. Justice souls do tend to end up overwhelmed, because justice for all parties is hardly ever served, so mostly they tend to become frustrated with some aspects of their purpose, but they are very much unyielding in the face of brute force, sticking to the idealistic views of ‘Truth’ and ‘Good’. A Justice soul will do right by themselves or others, if they see necessary and they will end up consumed in their need to bring forth the best possible outcome for all parties.

Our last candidate here is DETERMINATION. Now... there is little funded information to be found in any scripts that I found... from personal experience I can say though that the DETERMINATION trait is the most powerful soul trait out of the former. All of the traits above have incredible powers, if they are enacted right, but none of them would be able to stop a DETERMINATION soul, however much they tried. DETERMINATION is the force that pushes on, that breaks through, the supernova that leaves nothing in their way intact, if it won’t move aside and yield to their power. Enough DETERMINATION can change the world and there are no limits to this ability. ‘Limits’ strictly speak against the meaning of DETERMINATION itself. DETERMINATION can save the world or break it into little shattered pieces. It doesn’t chose between good and evil, it just drives you on from deep within.”

Flowey smiled blandly at the other. “Of course these traits are mostly combined in twos or threes within each human soul... to rely on one trait alone seems to be very rare in humans altogether, so the souls usually have a predominant trait, which is followed in smaller part by the others. So, no human soul will ever behave in the same way. Even pure traited souls (as rare as they are) would likely never chose the same thing, since the SOUL of a human isn’t the only thing that makes up their decisions.
