Most of the songs I have on there can fall into a few categories, there's a lot of stuff so let's see if I can list them out, uhhh...

Songs that reflect his mental state and the way the acts, why he does things, what he's actually thinking underneath, things like that. (Some examples of those I'd say are like, My ugly, Puppet loosely strung, Noel's lament, The view from halfway down, One big beautiful sound, and many others that I can't list or else we'll be here all day.) Most of those songs end up being from musicals, because musical songs are really meant for showing character and that works great for my purposes. Also they're quite jazzy and swing-y for lack of a better term, which I think it fits him pretty well!

Pining and breakup songs, because holy shit look at him. You cannot tell me this man hasn't had like, so many people that he pines for or had a crush on at some point. *Slaps trunk of car* this bad boy can fit so many unrequited crushes in him. RM to me is the kind of guy that gets crushes very easily and very fast, and the worst thing is they're pretty genuine! He's just, terrible at commitment and honestly uses romance to not have to think about the parts of his life that he doesn't want, so he puts all his self worth into romance specifically. I'm going to squish him.

Songs that just generally fit his vibes to me tbh? I have at least a few instrumentals in there, and they give me him thoughts so I put them in. It's fun to imagine him being stupid and goofy and dancing tango (I still wanna animate that someday)

Sometimes shitpost songs that I think are funny and yet they still fit him, like blonde boyz and red flags. It's funny idk what to tell you. I don't have too many of those on there but I am accepting more because they make my day.

Usually, a song will definitely fit these categories, but it's also very VERY common that I will just, grab a song and streeeecth it meaning wise so it can fit in his playlist because I already liked that song before and I like my blorbo being associated with one of my favorite songs. overall I think the whole series is amazing and there’s genuinely not many like,,, corrections or whatever that I have for it. while I adore the first series I actually like fall of the beasts better ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF HOW OVER POWERED CONOR GETS I LIVE FOR THAT SHIT SO BAD

Conor has always been my favorite of the four main characters mostly because his character arc in terms of personality is a copy of my life. he had so many important moments for himself and for the team and overall I think it’s so interesting how he becomes the leader-figure of the group, ie the others pack bonded so hard to him. in reality I see Meilin as the inner-group leader but people outside the four of them see Conor as the leader. puts a lot of pressure on him as well as the pressure from being the wielder of the Staff of Cycles and the fact that he’s basically an oracle/prophet by the time the second series ends AND how he was the only one infected by the Wyrm. he’s one of my special blorbos I love him so much

also he’s genuinely one of the most powerful warriors to ever walk that planet. no I don’t take constructive criticism on that

BONUS THOUGHT I don’t care if nobody else on the planet thinks this but the four heroes are in a polyamorous relationship no doubts about it. despite Rollan and Meilin being the only ones in an actual canon relationship, they all act the same to each other like. once the characters who are dating are acting the same way with the two other friends you just. Know. they all love each other so much

in terms of making my own spirit animal, I did play the spirit animals game while it was still alive (?) and I usually picked a very large black panther/leopard/whatever I think?? or a tiger sometimes but I don’t think I ever claimed an “official” spirit animal. I always just wanted to be Conor, so I guess a wolf would be my official spirit animal

to be fair though I was biased toward having no spirit animal because I was obsessed with the redcloaks more than the greencloaks. I adored Worthy to death and I created multiple redcloak OCs despite never making a greencloak one. they are just so cool omfg

Now I don't mean put personal details like your real name, or where you live/work/go to school, or what your triggers are. That's none of any of our business, and honestly you shouldn't be putting that anywhere else either.

Stuff like your hobbies, or favorite books/tvshows/movies, or some weird out there thing that happened to you one time.

You want to interact with fandom more, this is a pretty good website to do it on, especially if it's for collaborative works.

You want to role play, there's entire role play communities on here.

You wanna do nothing but follow feel good blogs that posts nothing but cute animal photos you can do that.

Tumblr is what I like to call day-walking social media. In the fact that it allows you to be an absolute little creature on here in your own time, and be able to pass as a normal member of society IRL if you're doing it right.

If you're trying to get internet famous, you've infamously come to the wrong place as the most famous users on tumblr tend to be people the average tumblr user base has done their best to run off the site.

How tumblr works best is if what you're most easily identified as among your fellow tumblrites is your personal interests and quirks rather than your personal information.

There's no such thing as spam liking or spam reblogging on tumblr. You can dig into someone's post archive and like and reblog every single one of their posts and nothings going to happen to you or the person you're reblogging stuff from.

Blocking

You don't need a reason to block anyone.

I've blocked people for just seeing them spew hateful shit directed at another user and that made me uncomfortable.

I've blocked people who're in the same fandoms as me just because some of the stuff the write/draw makes me uncomfy.

I've blocked blogs who just makes posts about stuff I'm uninterested in but constantly come up in my search results because we're in the same fandom. As there's only so many variations of character/reader story tag variations I can be bothered to put into the block tag function before I just get sick of doing it.

I've blocked people for dumb blorbo opinions that I just cannot agree with, because that's far better than starting beef with a rando because I saw that they view a character differently than I do.

I've blocked people who I can only assume were making a trolling attempt in the comments of my own posts. Or they really were that illiterate and gutsy enough to come yell at me for their dumb interpretation of what I posted on my own post.

Tagging

There's the tag block feature as I mentioned earlier, though be warned it's not quite perfect.

Dumb people will try and censor themselves in the tags, which means it doesn't get blocked when you try and block that tag. So don't use numbers or symbols in place of letters. Not to mention improperly tagging all together.

Such as tagging a flashing image of something as Epilepsy rather than tagging it as Flashing, which is actually dangerous. As people who actually have Epilepsy tend to use their tag as a way to talk about their experiences and talk to fellow epileptic people meaning that they could get bombarded with flashing images unexpectedly if you're tagging flashing imagery as Epilepsy.

8. Why did you start writing? Do you think you'll ever stop?

I started writing reluctantly, actually! I got very bored and tired easily from homework related writing, never really knowing the joys it could bring when you're able to create your own world and characters and build and build and build.

For a time, I just wrote fanfiction without realizing I was writing fanfiction! Just combining my favourite anime and my friends and I in various scenarios. I loved it!

But in relation to the second half, I actually did stop for a very long time. I was incredibly depressed without understanding what was happening, and no matter how much I wanted to write, any time I looked at a Word document, I would instantly fall asleep. My brain shut off because it couldn't deal with the weight on my mind. I stopped for about... seven, eight? Years? Maybe more.

But now I'm hyperfixated and while there are a lot of unfinished wips, I don't think the urgency to create via writing will be reduced for some time. It's become a comfort and legitimate coping mechanism. It has genuinely kept me alive.

This went a little heavier than anticipated, sorry! Moving on—

12. Now that you have more experience, is there anything new you’d like to try (a trope, genre, style etc)? What is it?

Hmm... not really? I have a niche, and that's fantasy haha. Action / adventure is my baby. And so is isekai, apparently.

Self inserts / isekai's give me the ability to see through my eyes and respond to the world around me and the world around me to respond in a way I find realistic. For me, it carries that realism in creating a premise that people can be more legitimately invested in, and fun!

15. In your opinion, why should people give writing a try?

You can literally do whatever you want forever! This goes without saying for all creative pursuits, but I feel like people have forgotten how much............. how less problematic it is to just. Go write your own shit instead of hounding each other or the producers of the media.

Don't like that pairing? Go write about how they break up. Make it messy. Make it amicable. Make it bittersweet. Do whatever.

Feel like you could be a better lover? Write your ass in the damn media all ready, smooch your blorbo! You can do that!

Fuck, I've been doing it for years!!! It's fantastic.

It also is an outlet that is incredibly healthy. It is an avenue most therapists recommend for letting out steam. Remember diaries or journals for venting? Do that with your blorbo, or your most pathetic meow meow villain! Have a sexy dual in the rain while dealing with inner conflict!!! Or whatever you're into!!

Naomi was my very first dnd oc & Yernad was originally an npc from her backstory before he moved on to an offshoot campaign from the first one. But those two have a bond like no other, they’re besties to the end. He’s like her older brother & practically raised her, so they got in a lot of trouble back in the day

Since she’s a satyr, she loves to roughhouse & wrestle, so they had a lot of tickle fights to tire her out. He’s one of the oldest in his family, so he’s a pretty brutal ler, but he knows how to keep it goofy & playful. He’d let her win more than a few times so that she wouldn’t get discouraged & would act really impressed at how she was able to take him down, regardless of how much she teased him about it later & rubbed it in his face. I can’t remember what all I’ve said about him, but since he’s a dragonborn, he has quite a few hoards that he insists are just collections. Everyone collects something, it’s totally normal! But his bed is literally just a massive pile of stuffed animals. He keeps it in a sack & when it’s time to sleep, he dumps it out & climbs on top. If you make fun of his bed he WILL bite you!

Kinda angsty, but he’s got this massive scar across his waist that almost wraps around him completely, but it stops on either side just before it can reach his back. He was almost severed in half by a death slaad he & Naomi were fighting & it’s what killed him. For those not caught up on The Lore™️ Naomi had a funeral for him at the edge of the woods & someone recognized him & took him to a necromancer. So he’s fine & dandy now & his death scar has completely healed. It’s a pretty deep scar & the scales are much softer there & yeah y’all already know where my trash brain is going with this. But the parallel of that being his “death spot” is just too funny I’m sorry I had to do it to him

If anyone pointed this out he’d get so fucking flustered because he never thought about it like that before & now he won’t be able to stop thinking about it

& I feel like I probably mentioned this in my tickle monster post, but I’m not sure, but his character introduction in the campaign is literally in the middle of a fight with a tickle monster & her pups & it’s gonna be the goofiest shit ever. Except Yernad swoops in while it’s distracted & catches it for the party like the smug bastard he is just to make a grand entrance. But all that suave attitude flies out the door when you realize he knows how to catch it because he already got his ass handed to him by this thing

Arkady and he’s the main protag of SE and is…tbh the only normal person out of the entire cast. he’s just a normal superpower-less kid who gets involved in world altering events on accident becuz everyone else is mean to him and likes using him cuz he craves validation and can’t say no :( unfortunately for all the ppl who like pushing him around, he’s got extremely serious, repressed anger issues (due to his dad's emotional/verbal abuse and his mom abandoning the family) and is eventually pushed beyond his breaking point which at some point involves making a nuclear bomb so. good work guys-

he’s also super fucking smart and loves everything to do with science even tho he isn’t too good at math. he excels at biology and chemistry and likes to take home dead animals to cut open and look at. he also practices necromancy- he’s a distinguished little victor frankenstein just. one who doesn’t steal dead bodies v-v he particularly likes reviving dead cats (one of which becomes a supporting character at a later point) but other than natural sciences he's pretty adept at taking things apart and putting them back together. he can look at a radio and know exactly how it works and what the components are that make it function. he also loves fun facts and will randomly drop them on people, especially morbid ones that he finds 'funny and interesting' but isnt to others :( so while he's pretty intelligent he doesnt do well socially which resulted in him being bullied VERY badly when he was younger but he tries to take everything in stride....even tho he almost drowned once becuz of it and one other time almost beat someone unconscious during one of his 'rage blackouts' (he definitely fucking cried for like 3 days straight after that even tho he doesnt rmm)

while relatively normal he’s related to like, arguably the most powerful person in the world which is something he’s super unaware of. he’s the heir to a shit ton of scientific endeavors and intended future owner of ALL ANDROIDS. but again he’s unaware of this so when “certain things” tend to happen to him or around him he just tends to brush it off and doesn’t think it concerns him. the person who he’s related to, Lupe, is struggling to get into contact with him cuz 10 years ago she astral projected so hard she caused her subconscious (i’m not explaining) to time travel so. she’s just been in a coma for a long while annnnd she very much might never wake up again so OH WELL looks like her TRILLION DOLLAR FORTUNE is just in fucking limbo for now >:/

bob is like a disney princess, and will charm any animals that come in contact with him. even that bear that one time. and that shark while he was drunk. he will fight spiders however, verbally

he knows how to play the guitar, but he also wants to learn the drums

Honestly this one was a really close call, but when I really thought about it I couldn't get Mr. Explodey Man out of my head. He sees you as super passionate and well rounded, both qualities he can appreciate! This man comes from a very straightforward and strict upbringing, so having your radiant personality and look nearby is honestly pretty refreshing for him.

I can see your dynamic including a lot of hurt/comfort influences, as well as some partners in crime and like a little friends to lovers vibe. He's very much an optimist and loves keeping your spirits up! He understands a lot of what you're going through (*coughs*t4t*coughs*) so expect a lot of advice and validating comments. Definitely tries to get you into some mischievous activities when bored, trouble is this guy's middle name (it's actually Finnegan). That's not to say he doesn't mind lounging about the house, learning about one of your interests through videos you watch or just listening to you ramble. He might fall asleep on you if you're not careful tho.

Demoman is also a very adaptable man. He's been around and seen a lot in his time, so he comes perfectly prepared for nearly everything you may need from him. It does surprise him at first when exposed to your stims and tics, but only for a moment! He finds stims that show your trust endearing, and certainly doesn't mind getting anything you need if you're having a bad day. He definitely seems like the type to catch on to what the different stims mean pretty quick. If he notices you're getting anxious he may subtly rest a hand on your leg, or lead you away from an area until you're no longer overstimulated. Once he learns about your non-verbal bouts he always keeps a pen and notepad nearby. Just very subtle and gentle things that shows he cares because he really really does.

He also adores your music taste!! Very chaotic instrumentals and throaty singing gets him all kinds of hyped. He tries to pass that hype on to you and it works about 99% of the time. When you're both bouncing with energy he'll gladly take you out somewhere to burn energy (and cause trouble). The best thing about Tavish is that this man can make anything fun. Simple things like taking out the trash, running errands, even going on a quiet walk end up becoming your most cherished memories with him. He always hums a tune from songs you like when he picks up on you smiling more.

Expect to meet his mother!! I have a feeling he plays it a bit old school when it comes to relationships, so he'd absolutely insist upon you meeting her. He also just really loves his mom. When you're both ready he invites you to his (fucking huge) house for tea. He's very confident you'll hit it off right away! It starts slow, but once you mention your experience with textiles she beams. Having experience herself; she happily shows you some pieces she's made for her family and for her. She asks that you update her with anything you make in the future, so I think you can safely say she likes you. It makes demoman very happy to see you getting along.
