hello! and no worries, i think my masterlist might actually take a while to load especially if the wifi’s a bit wonky, just because my masterlist is a bit long--so you’re so good! (also, all of this is under the cut, because i....got excited again): 

**EDIT: oh yeah i somehow forgot i have another unposted longform au wip, so i had to add that as well!

as for longform fics i’m currently writing/have already posted, i’ve got: 

lost again with no surprises, which is a canon-divergent/fix-it au in which obi-wan and ahsoka go on a galaxy-wide road trip to find a missing anakin skywalker. (post-season 5, too!) 

most ardently, which is a pride & prejudice obitine au.

time, wondrous time, which is the sequel to to these memories, the fix-it au in which everyone gets a happy ending and everything is fine. this sequel is mostly just an anthology within that verse of the twins growing up, ahsoka being a cool jedi knight who now has a student of her own, rex checking in with his veteran brothers, etc. 

as for shorter fics that i’m currently writing but have yet to post, i’ve got saved in my PinnedTM files: 

the vents are, in fact, a good place to hide, which is a crack-ish fic of clone wars fam playing among us. (only like. they’re actually in among us, so instead of everyone gathered around their own computers/phones, it’s literally. ahsoka & the rest of the crew gathered around the cafeteria table jabbing fingers at each other.) 

post-rots obi-wan sickfic, which takes place in my obi-wan-ahsoka-and-rex-live-together-on-tatooine-au. 

the rest is confetti, which is post-rotj anakin and obi-wan angst/hurt/comfort. 

the same boat, which is basically. ahsoka going bonkers because obi-wan and anakin won’t stop bickering and also the ship is lowkey broken. 

turned around, nothing there, which is post-mortis angst (and has been in my pinned/major wips folder since like august, and i am determined to get it posted in february at least). 

blueberry muffins, which is...a soft fic about ahsoka baking muffins and giving them to the tcw fam because there’s something called family day that like...mostly civilians just celebrate, but ahsoka found out about it and uh. yeah. ‘tis soft. 

and tbh, i have like,,,,a gazillion other shorter-fic-wips, but some of them are a little secret right now, and if i really posted all of them here, i think we’d be here all night-- 

as for longform fics i’m currently writing but have yet to post, here’s a few that are either still in the outlining process/have like, half a chapter-full chapter written so far:

red, underlined, which is...a very, very, very long fic about anakin, obi-wan, ahsoka, rex, and padme basically all being law school students and anakin might have accidentally murdered their professor palpatine and things are stressful. (basically how to get away with murder au only without an annalise keating figure and more stress because it’s just students trying to cover up a murder. i mean, murder’s technically okay if you killed a bad guy, right? right??? please dont think im endorsing murder)

still writing pages, which is a canon-divergent/fix-it au that starts off after the deception arc and is mostly obitine focused. some letters that should not have been sent got sent, and now miscommunication is a thing. 

to live for the hope of it all, which is........my obi-wan-and-satine-year-on-the-run fic that really got born after i wound up writing a bunch of obitine ficlets that read like snapshots, and then i was like “wait. i want to write an actual longform fic of this now.” so here we are. 

cut from the same cloth, which is the time travel au in which anakin is tranasported back to where obi-wan is still a youngling/still does not have a master and time is running out. anakin thinks he’s there to convince obi-wan to never bring him into the jedi order. the force has other ideas.

dreaming instead of sleeping, which is to be posted in august 2021. tcw fam only as college seniors. 10 chapters.

it’s too late tho! the seed has been planted and is slowly blossoming into a crush

he’s annoyed by Neil always talking about you; could they possibly like me too? do they think i’m cute,,,maybe? hahaha i’m kidding.......unless?

and he’s double annoyed because you do the same thing about Neil to him and he doesn’t want to be the middle man anymore

so he straight up tells you that Neil likes you and vice versa with Neil

AND THEN - BECAUSE AS IF THAT WASNT ENOUGH MEDDLING

Charlie secretly sets up a date (he tells Neil to meet him at a diner, he tells you to meet him at a diner - but plot twist! Charlie isn’t coming!)

so you have your first date thanks to Charlie and it’s there you both confess your feelings and get together officially

if Charlie thought that setting y’all up would stop the endless torture from his bffs then he was wrong

it’s worse now because Neil will come back from a date all starry eyed and cheeks blushing rambling about how perfect you looked and you even held hands this time oh my god

Charlie is ready to jump out a window when the first kiss happens lmao

but despite his complaints, Charlie is actually happy that you’re happy together and will never let you live it down that it was HIM who set you up

just tell him how good of a kisser Neil is and he’ll shut up quick tho

Okay, so a while ago, @afishcallednuwanda and I were talking about a Dead Poets Society/Star Trek Crossover AU. Why, you might ask? Because there’s poetry in humanity discovering the stars and oases of life and the space between them.

Alright.

the poet bois have grown up a bit and are part of the crew boarding the USS Whitman

Todd has freshly transferred ships and unfortunately has to get used to a new crew

his brother is a known vice admiral, one of the youngest Starfleet has seen

Todd has always lived in his brother’s shadow - he had never felt like his own person with his own achievements; he had been constantly compared to Jeff and pressured by high expectations

Todd is a medical officer and holds the rank of lieutenant; his parents want him to become a chief medical officer but Todd isn’t so sure about that anymore

the first crew member he is personally introduced to is Knox, they work together in sickbay/the infirmary

Knox is a nurse

he is close friends with Charlie, they shared a flat with Neil during their time at Starfleet Academy

Charlie works on the bridge as the captain’s first officer/second-in-command

he had started out as a pilot

when he was a teenager he dropped out of school and joined a gang as a pilot; he got caught but Starfleet recognised his potential and recruited him

Neil Perry holds the rank of captain and commands the USS Whitman

this is his first mission as captain

he’s the successor to the widely known and admired Captain John Keating, his own mentor under whom he had acted as second-in-command

Neil’s one of the youngest Starfleet captains, bloody overachiever

so when Todd is being told about his new captain he’s not impressed - he reminds him of Jeff

but then he meets Neil in person during lunch when Knox waves Todd over to their table

and well, he’s only human - who can blame him for falling for Neil Perry?

not that Neil isn’t a total goner

his visits to sickbay are a lot more frequent now which plays out in Charlie’s favour because he doesn’t have to physically drag his captain to the infirmary anymore whenever Neil denies that he’s hurt

their lunch table is joined by Meeks and Pitts

Pitts and Neil were neighbours as kids and have been friends since then

Pitts met Meeks in Starfleet Academy and introduced him to Neil’s friend group

Charlie has been lowkey crushing on Meeks ever since

Pitts is an operations officer and has a degree in engineering; he holds the rank of a lieutenant and has worked on the USS Whitman ever since being an ensign

Meeks is the head science officer of the department of quantum mechanics; he also has a degree in astrophysics

he also passed the Bridge Officer’s test and got promoted to commander which means that he’s authorised to command the starship when neither Neil nor Charlie are able to do so - which, in Meek’s humble opinion, happens way too often

Cameron is a stuck up operations officer in security and is a classic redshirt: he dies at least once in a mission but somehow always manages to come back

it‘s quickly getting out of hand when Charlie tries to kill Dick using a variety of methods, only for him to rise from the dead and be on board in the next episode

this was such a good episode, I loved every second of it (aside from the maggots, I could live without ever seeing that 🤢) I loved the Hen and Karen wedding, I loved how Eddie helped Bobby, and how Bobby's struggle was portrayed, and how Bucktaylor breakup was handled - especially that last scene when she gave him the key, and they seemed to separate on good terms more or less, and, of course, Maddie being back at the dispatch and Eddie at the 118 ❤️

it was so fucking good, I can't wait for season 6 - and I'm so excited that they got renewed yaaay ❤️❤️

k so first of all this doesnt really have to do with the show itself but we were in like the sixth row and for whatever reason our row had like more leg room than all the other ones idk why but it was nice

amanda makes an amazing glinda she brings the perfect balance of humor and seriousness to the role

andy and kristen are great as boq and nessa and also i remember a while back i heard someone say that they thought andy would be a better fiyero but tbh i dont see it hes a perfect fit for boq

fred applegate is very convincing as the wizard he really makes it seem like yes it this is the same wizard who everyone thought was good but hes really not also isabel keating is perfect as morrible

jeremy is an amazing fiyero and while im still not convinced that elphie would fall in love with him instead of glinda he got me as close as ill probably ever get to shipping fiyeraba

she did this little jump  at “feeling things ive never felt” and it was adorable

she was imitating glinda all throughout what is this feeling and the whole audience was losing it it was hilarious

her defying gravity was so clean and crisp and it had just the right amount of riffs and she sang it in such a nice mix and if you havent heard her sing it you havent lived

also i got such great gelphie feels it was great

i stage doored and they were doing backstage tours for broadway cares and isabel was the one giving the tour so i didnt see her and i didnt see jeremy either (i get the feeling hes very private and doesnt do that often) but i got to see everyone else

i knew andy was short but it still surprised me also the girl next to me asked what was his favorite production that hes done and he said spring awakening (he didnt mention whether it was deaf west or not but i think it was)

I would also love secret spy shenanigans, or a situation where only the secret skills of the customer service person Sarah or the filling skills of a bored bureaucrat (also: Sarah) save the day in a spectacular manner.

Or Victoria taking Sarah under her wing and teaching her everything she knows about life, men, and how to end both. Or trying to protect her from the fucked-up shit in her life, and then maybe realising that maybe Sarah doesn’t need to be protected.

I am a fan of the age difference, too, and I do ship them together, if you rather want to write that. Give me all the fucked up femslash! Going on murderous rampages together, and having sex amid the slain corpses of their enemies, yes, that. Bedsharing because circumstances have them hiding out in the Siberian Tundra. Gokusen (Manga)

How do I love this manga so much? I have no idea. I’m not even near high school age anymore, and yet the plot (and tbh, sometimes its ridiculous nature) always gets to me. I’d read more about any aspect of this canon, and if you want to bring in any other characters, and leave others out, feel entirely free to.

Post-canon would be great, but anything goes really. Focusing on just one character would be terrific. Having all of them would be great!

Kumiko has adventures with another class, or her minions! Does she continue with being a school teacher? Maybe she starts leading the Yakuza group, and still goes to school to teach her kids manners, and morals, and how to fight the system?

Shin goes to law school/Africa/some place, but gets lost on the way there! Will he come back to Yankumi? Will he eventually lead the Yakuza group?

Fujiyama Shizuka doesn’t get why she’s the one without the beautiful student toy-boy, and tries to find one herself, and instead falls in love with, idk, the new female teacher? one of Yankumi’s brothers? the new janitor? Or she watches and cackles a lot as Yankumi and Shin date, and then maybe found a Yakuza orphanage, and/or marry.

Kuroda Ryuuchiro and his quest for the rightful heir to his Yakuza group! How does he feel about his granddaughter running around with the police chief’s son — does that bother him more than the whole student thing? Does Shin really inherit the Kuroda family group? Does he become a Yakuza lawyer? Or does Yankumi make him stay away, or maybe Kuroda makes them stay away?

I ship Shin/Yankumi but gen is delightful also.

How does Shin convince Yankumi to have sex with him? Is he getting kidnapped left and right before they actually get together because all and sundry already think they’ve been doing each other for years?

If they are already in an established relationship, how does Shin deal with Yankumi’s students (especially when one of them develops a crush)?

I have no problems about depicting violence, or graphic criminal activities, but please keep the violence perpetrated by the nominated characters within the spirit of the manga? I like to root for morally ambiguous characters, but not if they are truly evil.

I love this music video! It’s so silly and fun! It is here, if you want to watch it yourself, but basically, people are fighting each other with music instruments to a jaunty tune, set in the Wild Wild West.

Basically, fighting with music! Foiling dastardly plans! I want to read more about this! And anything goes, really. If you want to focus more on one character, or want to show this from an outside perspective, either would be great.

Lowkey, I’m really a fan of rival-dynamics, and love to ship enemies, so bringing a lovestory between Durango Black and the Violinist would make my day. Or if there’s a dynamic like "You are the only one allowed to catch me"? —Perfection

Maybe they know each other from before? Maybe there’s epic discussion about different ways to fight each other with music (I’d be into reading about that!).

Would also be into PWP where the Violinist dominates Durango Black. Some Bootlicking, maybe? Or creative uses of the music instruments. Or clothing porn!

Or case fic where The Violinist tours around the country, catching criminals; or just a glimpse into how music developed its own fighting style — or performing tricks like shooting an apple out of the air, just with music instruments!

Okay, I’m not even vaguely sorry. Here’s my confession: I ship all of these with each other, as pairs, or as threesome. I’d read them writing spite!fic, or rather spite!poetry, about each other, though! Or a zombie!AU, in which they are all stumbling incompetently around the dead suddenly among the living. Or maybe they turn out to be surprisingly competent at killing/evading zombies! (I’d expect nothing less from Percy Shelley who seduced people on graveyards, tbh)

Hey — at least they knew of each other! I am into the really very dysfunctional relationships with each other, here. Who is to say they wouldn’t have been very happy with each other in various constellations? Lord Byron seemed to have detested Keats — or at least thought his poetry as "mental masturbation" — I’d dig them in a rival relationship, that suddenly develops into a sexual relationship. Maybe even romantic? (Definitely romantic in the original sense)

And I can definitely see Lord Byron condescending down on Keats for his poor upbringing, without being aware that this is what he is doing, and Keats so not having that. And Percy Shelley with his continued efforts into giving all his money to charity while having the luxury to seduce women and traipse around the continent!

How about an AU in which Keats doesn’t die and joins Percy Shelley in Pisa (and for some reason Lord Byron is there, too — I will not read this for the historical accuracy, believe me)

Basically! Literature! Orgies! Seducing people in graveyards, and skinny-dipping in French rivers, that’s all I really want. I’m not saying no if you do decide to go down the historical accurate road, but I’ll also read all sorts of wild AUs.

Or adventures in Greece during the revolution in an Everybody-Lives!AU?

Percy Shelley wrote an elegy about Keats, and said this when he invited him to Pisa: "I am aware indeed that I am nourishing a rival who will far surpass me and this is an additional motive & will be an added pleasure." Added pleasure? (He means fucking! says me) I am just very into rival relationships that turn sexual or more.

Look, I’m just here for Lord Byron and Percy Shelley seducing a reluctant Keats — and Keats maybe anchoring them a bit down to earth. Or various combinations.

I am not into the long-term effects of drug use and the suffering thereof, but if you want to mention it, that is totally fine. I wouldn’t want it glorified.

Miss Marple - Agatha Christie

Characters: Jane Marple

I am a fan of Miss Marple. I, too, have lived in a quiet town where you can see into the abysses of the human condition :D

I’d love to read something that lead her to the person we know her as, maybe when she went to the girl school in Switzerland? Maybe during her time in the cypher division, during the war — maybe the cypher division was really a cover for Miss Marple’s spy activities for the war office?

I’d also love fic about her as we know her: spending time in St. Mary Mead’s and solving crimes, quietly knitting her nephew another sweater. Holiday themed fic! Somebody keeps stealing the geese for the holiday celebrations!

Honestly, I’d also really like to read about her in a relationship, especially one that people wouldn’t expect of an elderly woman. Did she have a youthful indiscretion with the prime minister, and now that he is widowed, he visits her again, and Jane’s nephew is entirely shocked by the whole thing?

Was she maybe in love with a woman the whole time? Did she quietly retire into a cottage with her best friend, and they have a romantic relationship with each other?

(Or crossovers! It would be super interesting if Miss Marple knew a wizard from the Harry Potter universe, or maybe she’s a squib or a with herself? Or maybe she knows Phryne Fisher, or Lord Peter Wimsey!)

Island of the Aunts | Monster Mission - Eva Ibbotson

Characters: Dorothy (Island of the Aunts)

Look. This is one of my favourite books. I would read absolutely anything about every single character— I choose Dorothy, simply because she’s my most favourite, but if you want to write a story where she’s not the focus, I’d still be ecstatic.

That said, omg, Dorothy. I love her (and her wok!) and I would read countless stories on adventures she had while going off of the island in a rage to be angry at polluters, or hunters of endangered species, or both. I like that she seems to be the most competent in dealing with outsiders, even though usually she rather likes to resort to violence.

So! Pre-Canon, or Post-Canon, whatever; either would be great!

How is the work on the island? How is Dorothy dealing with her piranha farm? Maybe she decided to pursue some other, even stranger, protection against various and sundry? Does the Kraken return to the island?

How does Dorothy deal with the mermaids? Is she tolerant of their foibles, or is it a similar relationship to the one she has with her sister Betty, that is: polite bewilderment?

How does Dorothy feel to be suddenly the responsible one, who didn’t kidnap children and make them work with her? How’s her relationship with Etta, and does Dorothy milk it for all that it is worth?

Did Dorothy ever fall in love? Was it someone off the island, campaigning for more environmental protection? A mythical creature of her very own?

Who did she meet in prison? (Was Archie someone Dorothy pulled in?) How did she deal with prison in Hong-kong? Is Dorothy the reason there are now forest cities in China (— this is maybe a bit of a reach, since Hong Kong isn’t really mainland China and all, but I’d love if the Aunts have a bit of an influence on the world, even though Fabio is probably never going to be Brasilians prime minister. Though I would read a story about that.)

(Burning questions I have that aren’t relevant to Dorothy as a character: Is Herbert ever going to return? Is the younger Kraken?)
