tbh when i made that short comic rec list a big part of it was me going 🤔 what can the public handle if they just picked one of these up without previous context
#i loveeee people giving their recs like trust im jotting these down!!#omg and let me give my encouragement to people mentioning specific issues cause i was more going for okay whats easy to find compact in a tp#i feel like people get nervous about like 'oh read tec 186' when theyre starting so thats why i avoided it#like if i repackage it as 'oh read this story' people are way more willing even though its the same issues#i guess its like you feel like you need to read everything a la manga but thats not the case#said girl who reads entire runs from issue one BUT#anyways to my original point part of why i didnt rec something like red robin i was worried people would only read that!!#red robin is best in context of tims previous development since this was a time of major turbulence for him not like regular tim#my mission to avoid mischaracterization by telling you to read robin 93 so he isnt... yk... and people think hes alway#like that 😭😭#anyways!!!!#(btw i was holding back soooo bad with nightwing/dick grayson recs.... i guess telling you to read a 488593 issue run was crazy but LISTEN!)#tomasis section eats in that focus on him ++ a knight in blud is out saurrrr get into it!!
