Because now I will be forever convinced that I:P Masqurena is Ki-sikil's and Lil-la's part-time stream-mod/tech-support/heist-hacker/getaway-driver/mutual-friend-with-benefits XD

1: Favorite series?

ahhh i feel like one of THOSE people but!!! duel monsters is my favorite!!!!! i started watching it when i was 4 years old when it was on kids wb and it has stuck ever since (honestly there’s not a single year in my life ever since where i remember not watching a yugioh series)

2: Favorite character?

jounouchi katsuya/joey wheeler!!! i love the underdog character LOVE IT and!!! HIS DEDICATION FOR YUGI!!!!! TO WANT TO HELP HIM!!!!! EVEN THOUGH HE STRAIGHT UP HAS NO CONNECTION TO THE EGYPTIAN LORE WHATSOEVER!!!! EVEN THOUGH DESTINY DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING PLANNED FOR HIM TO BE A PART OF DEFEATING THE ULTIMATE EVIL!!! HE STILL DOES HAS ABSOLUTE BEST (AND HONESTLY SUCCEEDS IN MOST CASES!!) AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!!! TO SEE HIM GROW AS A CHARACTER AND AS A DUELIST!!!! (I MEAN BEING IN THE TOP 3 OF THE CREATOR OF DUEL MONSTERS MAXIMILLION PEGASUS IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF!!!!) ALSO HIS FIGHTS AGAINST KAIBA GIVES ME VITALITY AND STRENGTH HAHA

3: Favorite scene?

i already answered this one but another fave scene?? THE END OF THE YUGI VS JOEY DUEL IN THE BATTLE CITY ARC BECAUSE!!! YUGI WAS SO DETERMINED TO SAVE HIS FRIEND!!!! DIDN’T WANT TO HARM HIM AND EVEN SWITCHED WITH THE PHARAOH DURING THE DUEL BECAUSE HE WANTED SO MUCH TO HELP JOEY!!! AND WHEN JOEY DID SNAP OUT OF IT YUGI SACRIFICED HIMSELF!!!! AND THEN JOEY SACRIFICED HIMSELF RIGHT AFTERWARDS!!!! SO THAT WHEN BOTH OF THEM SANK AND WERE DROWNING, JOEY FREED YUGI FROM HIS CHAINS SO THAT HE COULD BE SAVED WHILE JOEY KEPT SINKING WITH HIS CHAINS STILL LOCKED!!! and wow that was such a roller coaster ride to watch but the friendship!!! is so strong in this scene!!!!

4: Favorite duel?

okay let’s be real for me IT’S THE YUGI VS KAIBA DUEL IN THE BATTLE CITY FINALS!!! each turn was action packed with twists and turns and i think i rewatched that duel at least 10 times and it’s as interesting as i watched it the first time around XD

6: Favorite Duel Monster?

i answered this one too but another one for me?? i love endymion, the master magician! (again there’s no particular reason, mostly just the design hahaha XD)

7: How many of the series have you seen?

i’m such a dweeb because LITERALLY ALL OF THEM!!! including season 0 haha i’m such yugioh trash :’D

10. Do you play the TCG?

i don’t unfortunately!! i don’t really have any tournaments nearby nor do i have the money nor time to invest in it nor the skill to be good at it haha though when i was younger i had the gba game that i loved! and i played duel links like every single day for like 4 months straight until real life stuff took over :’)

11: How long have you been into YGO?

literally since 2001 when it first aired on kids wb (my sister and even my dad would always watch it together!!) so it’s been 16 long years and still going strong!!! i’m so happy it’s still a part of my life :D

12: What got you into the fandom?

tbh i had so much love for yugioh that i wanted to tell the world so when i started to just scream my thoughts on tumblr about it that was my entrance into the fandom not the most elegant way of entering a fandom i suppose XD but everyone has been so nice and receptive in the ygo fandom and it’s made my experience with yugioh even more enjoyable :’D

13: Do you ship?

sometimes i do!! honestly it depends on how the relationship is written out throughout the series but when i ship, i ship hard XD

14: If so, what's your favorite shipping?

my favorite shipping is fruitshipping tbh!!! YUYA AND YUZU ARE JUST SO PURE AND THEY CARE FOR EACH OTHER SO MUCH!!! AND I’M GLAD IT ENDED HAPPILY FOR THEM EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK THEM LIKE 100 EPISODES TO REUNITE PSFJWKLERF WOW THAT WAS A PAINFUL WAIT

17: What merchandise do you own, if any?

i haven’t bought any merchandise in the recent years, but when i was younger i bought tcg cards/tin cans!! and for christmas/birthday my uncles/aunts would get me the structure decks so yeah lots of ygo cards :D 

19: Favorite OP/ED?

ooh i really like yugioh 5d’s op 2!! that song was always catchy to me!

21: Favorite protagonist?

ahhhh i have to pick yugi muto!! so pure!!! an actual cinnamon roll!! AND HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!! WAS SO ON POINT!!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND ADORE HIM ;A;

22: Why do you like YGO?

so many reasons!!! 1) it’s really action packed!!! i love watching the duels go on and the strategy involved in them 2) so much friendship!!!! i just love it so much omg i cry watching these children love each other :’) 3) character development!!! i get really sad when it’s not executed properly, but when it does work out it’s absolutely a beautiful thing to watch!! 4) it’s been a part of me ever since my childhood and it’s something i’m glad i can still enjoy

24: Favorite Duel Disk design?

ahh i love the classic yugioh duel monsters one!! idk why i like the color scheme and the square-ish look ^^

25: Headcanons you have?

i don’t really have any!! if anything i’d like to think that in arc v somehow everyone ends up unfused and live happily ever after though this isn’t really a headcanon more like a dream i wish was real hahahhahaahahaha
