pre-parental panic !
alexia putellas x pregnant!reader
summary: attending another game in support of your fiancée, everything should’ve gone smoothly. but chaos ensues when an ignorant security guard gets a little too handsy. (warnings: injury whilst pregnant, but nothing serious in the end & there’s a happy ending). words: 5.8k
-
it was another beautiful day in barcelona and you found yourself in attendance at yet another barcelona and real madrid clash, something you had come to love over the last few years of your life.
when you first met alexia, you had very minimal knowledge of the sport she had such an intense passion for which you worried would be something of a turn off for the blonde barcelona captain, but to your delight the woman surprisingly found it endearing and was adorably excited to teach you about the amazing world of football. and she was a good teacher, it only took you just over a month of knowing alexia to know all of the football terms by heart.
you didn’t miss the way her face would light up when you would get immersed into a match, whether it be her own or just a random one she’d put on the television for the night. she’d watch you with soft eyes as you gestured towards the device in frustration, complaining that the goal that went in shouldn’t count because the player was definitely offside, soon turning to alexia herself in an attempt to get her to back you up. she hadn’t even seen the goal, too busy watching you, but she nodded in agreement anyways. if you said it was offside, then it was.
it was at a barcelona game that your relationship was publicised.
it was after the championships league final, barcelona had worked their hearts out after coming back from being two goals down at halftime. you watched in the stands, beside alexia’s mother and sister on the edge of your seat. you knew how much this meant to your girlfriend and you worried that the chance to become champion league winners had just slipped from the barcelona team’s fingers, something you knew would take a huge toll on the ever so self critical alexia, and you hated that you couldn’t grab even a second with her just to give her a hug and share some words of encouragement, even if she wasn’t actually on the pitch yet.
all you could do was wait in your seat and hope that chances were made and the team came back out for the second half amped up and eager to fight until the last minute.
and that they did.
with patri managing to score a brace, and rolfö scoring another goal twenty minutes later you were on cloud nine by the time the final whistle blew, and you knew your girlfriend was absolutely ecstatic with the way the team dominated in the second half. you stayed in the stands with alexia’s family, sharing hugs and celebrating with the duo whilst you waited, rather impatiently, for alexia to finish celebrating with her team and come join you all.
you watched from afar as she lifted the trophy, taking as many pictures and videos as you could of the memorable moment so that you could look back on the special day in months and years to come, remembering how overjoyed you were to be able to see alexia achieve something she had spent countless of nights stressing over, understandably so.
when the celebrations began to quell, and players wandered off the pitch to join family and friends in the stands, alexia all but skipped to be with you, where she had been aching to be since that final whistle.
she pulled you into a hug, and you squeezed the muscular woman as hard as you could, hoping you would be able to convey every ounce of love you had for the phenomenal woman in the warm embrace. “so proud of you espléndida.”
you felt a puff of breath against your ear as she laughed at your comment, knowing you had been working on your pet names in spanish lately, wanting to woo the woman in more than just english.
“thank you mi novia, i am so glad you’re here.” she whispered, pulling away from the hug but still keeping her hands on your waist.
your heart melted at the sight of tears shining in the woman’s eyes, her emotions clearly beginning to get the better of her after a tough match against a team that looked like they were taking home the win in the first half. your hand quickly moved, almost like second nature to you, to wipe away a stray tear that trickled down her slightly muddied cheek, caressing the area with your knuckles once you had.
“i’ll alway be here baby.”
you wanted nothing more than to smother your girlfriend in a considerable amount of affection, but you were conscious of the cameras and the number of fans still in attendance, in hopes of getting a photo with the champions. you didn’t want to be the cause of outing your relationship with alexia, someone who was very private with her personal life and had made sure to keep you quiet in the public eye since you made things official.
you knew the fans weren’t blind, they’d noticed you, someone they had never seen before, suddenly attending almost every barcelona match alongside alexia’s family, always sharing a hug and some hushed whispers with their captain at the end of every match. they’d decided you were alexia’s new girlfriend a number of months ago, but with no real confirmation from alexia yet, she was happy to keep them in the dark with who you really were to her.
and so you settled with just giving the midfielder a beaming smile, ready to step back and give her some space to interact with eli and alba who were happily engaged in their own conversation as they waited for alexia to finish with you, like they always did.
but then you felt a tug on your hand, and you looked back at alexia with your brows furrowed in confusion at what she could possibly want. she only maintained eye contact with you for a second, maybe two, before her eyes drifted downwards and found themselves transfixed on your lips. later on she would blame the lip balm you had applied at half time, telling you your lips just looked so soft and inviting she couldn’t help herself. it was your fault really.
but for now she pushed any hesitation to the back of her mind, and leaned in rather swiftly, quickly connecting your lips in a sweet yet passionate kiss, one you sank into immediately with your hold on the footballers shoulders increasing.
it was cut shorter than you would’ve liked, but you knew alexia was risking a lot already by initiating the kiss in the first place, and so you didn’t complain, only smiled at the blonde who now held a flushed complexion to her face as she smiled back at you.
“oo la la, did i just witness mi hermana partake in some pda?”
the teasing voice of alba broke through the bubble you and alexia had found yourself lost in since she had approached you minutes ago, the playful banter between the sisters making you laugh as alexia pushed her younger sibling which didn’t deter her from making fun of alexia even further.
you were pleasantly surprised when you opened up your instagram later that night, just having one last look at your phone before you switched it off and got ready to sleep. you quickly clicked on alexia’s story when you noticed she had posted on it, and smiled at all the pictures she had posted of the day. her with the trophy, the team with the trophy, a video of her and mapi screaming in glee at the camera with confetti stuck in their hair.
it was the last photo of the bunch that sent your heart beating that little bit faster. it was a picture of the kiss, with a black and white filter layered over the top. you couldn’t stop the cheesy grin overtaking your features even if you really wanted to at the sight, your thumb quickly moving to click on the heart at the bottom right corner.
guess you we’re officially, official.
-
and now, two years later, here you sat beside alba once again (eli was too busy to attend, but had called alexia earlier with her usual well wishes), with an ice cold bottle of water in hand that alexia had practically forced you to take whilst she demanded you be seated in one of the more shaded areas of the arena, the protective mother to be mindful of the blazing weather.
the game went as expected, with barcelona already one nil up before the time had even reached double digits, the goal being made by aitana which had you cheering for the baller from your seat.
it seemed as though the early goal had set the tone for the rest of the match, as barcelona continued to score goal after goal throughout both half’s, whilst madrid struggled to score any. the final whistle blew earlier than you had been expected, being so engrossed in the game you hadn’t realised the clock had stopped at ninety-six minutes, the team managing to score five against madrid where madrid failed to score any in retaliation.
you knew alexia would be in good spirits after the win, especially with the no goals conceded and the fact that she had managed to earn her own goal and assist in the match, something that usually would’ve had you jumping for joy but with your newly acquired baby bump, you were forced to stay put and be content with just cheering and clapping instead - which you did with all your might.
everything about your day has been going incredibly, until it was time to meet up with alexia.
since you had arrived at the later stages of your pregnancy, alexia had decided that it would be best for both of you if you came to her rather than her coming to you like she usually did. then you would be able to go with her through the tunnels and into the locker rooms, remaining with her whilst she got showered and changed. the idea had already been cleared by jonatan who had no issues with the new routine, as long as it wasn’t disrupting play (which it wasn’t) then he didn’t care.
she argued that it was so that she was there incase something happened to you in the fifteen minutes that it took her to get ready to go home - usually it would take double that time but she rushed through her regime in order to get you home sooner, and you found her reasoning excessive but you didn’t say anything, finding it endearing how much more protective she had become over you since your bump became visible.
you made your way carefully down the concrete steps after you had bid farewell to alba, a goodbye that was only temporary as the brunette would be meeting alexia and yourself at your shared apartment so that you could partake in some well needed catching up with the younger putellas sister who had been way too busy over the past few weeks.
your hand clung to the metal railing that was helping you stabilise yourself on the way down, your other hand finding itself underneath your bump whilst you stretched your neck in order to see your feet and ensure that you weren’t about to slip or miss a step, not wanting to cause any last minute chaos.
though you wondered if that attempt was in vain, as you assessed the situation that greeted you at the bottom of the stairs.
a frown found itself on your face at the rowdy fans that were trying to get as close to the barrier as they possibly could, desperate to get a picture with one of the barcelona girls, some additionally holding different items they wanted to be signed. a few fans were even trying to push their way onto the pitch, something that was irritating the security guard to no end which was apparent by the angry lines etched on the man’s forehead.
you tried your best to ignore the fuss, continuing your journey to find alexia with as little interaction with the fans as you could manage. you didn’t want to seem rude, but you knew if you accepted to take a picture with one person, then you’d have a huge crowd around you in seconds, eager to get something from the captain’s girlfriend which would just overwhelm you and you weren’t just worrying for your own safety anymore. you did give a wave though, when they cheered at your presence which thankfully they seemed content with.
you budged past a few barcelona tshirt clad fans, and managed to take two steps onto the pitch when an arm was raised infront of you, preventing you from advancing any further.
“no fans allowed on the pitch.” a gruff and unimpressed sounding voice reached your ears.
“i’m going to see alexia, i’m her fiancée.” you gave the middle aged man a smile whilst you flashed your rather impressive engagement ring, expecting the man to perk up at the realisation of who you were and let you pass.
but that didn’t happen.
instead, he just gave you a look of pure disbelief, his eyes flickering to your bump with an amused smirk. “oh, and i’m guessing that baby in there belongs to her too?”
your brows furrowed at the man’s tone, not sure if he was too behind the times to believe that it was possible for two women in a relationship to have a baby in a way that didn’t involve adoption, or if he was just trying to call your bluff. either way, you couldn’t help but feel a little annoyed at his condescending tone.
“yes actually.” the man only scoffed in response, still not letting you through.
“i’m not lying to you, seriously. look, i can even prove it to you.”
you moved to grab your phone from your jacket pocket, with your lockscreen being a picture of alexia and yourself on one of your many date nights, you figured that would be more than enough to prove that you were in fact in a relationship with the footballer. and if that still didn’t help convince him, you could just call alexia herself and have her come and collect you.
you clicked on the side button of your phone, the screen lighting up at the action and there was the picture of the both of you. alexia stood behind you with her arms wrapped around your shoulders, pulling your back to her chest whilst you both smiled at the camera. you turned your phone around to show it to the security guard, who to your dismay didn’t even spare one glance at the device and instead moved to grab ahold of your arm in a less than gentle manner.
“look, i don’t have time for crazy, obsessed fans okay? i have a job to do and you’re pushing it, so this is the last time i’ll ask nicely. please return to your seat and wait for the players to approach. if you don’t i’ll have no choice but to have you removed from the stadium all together.” despite using his manners, his words were spat out harshly and his grip on your arm tightened throughout his demands, leaving you gritting your teeth together in pain.
“let go of me! i’m telling the truth, i’ll call alexia and get her over here right now and she’ll tell your herself that i am her fiancée!” you told him, fed up with his distrust in you.
it was then, that a fan who had taken the security man’s distraction with you as a prime opportunity to sneak past and run onto the pitch, accidentally stumbled on their way past, effectively sending their body barging into the security man, and with the speed they were running at, it wasn’t just a light impact. it sent the man, who still had his hand wrapped around your arm, pushing against you and before you knew it, you had landed bump first into the metal barrier that was to the side of you all.
the cramp like pain that spread throughout your lower stomach was immediate, and intense from the get go. you doubled over in pain, crying out in agony at the ache that was worse than anything you had ever felt in your entire life. the security guard who had seemed to clue onto his mistake, quickly released your arm and took a step back as if he was attempting to look as though he was just a concerned onlooker, but what he hadn’t accounted for was the furious blonde who had seen the incident and was fast approaching.
“qué diablos crees que estás haciendo?”
the man, who was beyond cocky and aggressive only seconds prior, had now paled considerably at the sight of alexia who looked like she was seconds away from pouncing on the guard, who could only cower away from her irate demeanour. you were sure the only thing stopping her were the fans who had all stood in a stunned silence at what had just occurred infront of them.
“l-lo siento! it was a mistake, i was pushed!”
“you shouldn’t have had your hands on her in the first place, bastardo!” she spat, before she turned to you and the fire in her eyes melted away leaving only a puddle of concern in its absence.
“querida, are you okay? how bad does it hurt? can you walk?” alexia quick fired an abundance of questions at you, you who could barely concentrate on what she was saying as the pain took control of all your senses, all you could focus on was the sharp stabbing feeling that wasn’t getting better anytime soon.
the panic in alexia hit an all time high at the lack of response she received from you, as you continued to remain hunched over with an arm helping you lean against the barrier you had been launched into, and your other wrapped around your heavy bump. she ran a hand through her hair, a clear sign on stress in the thirty year old as she tried to think of what she could do next.
it was as if god had heard her silent plea for help, as a familiar accent reached her ears just as she was about to crack under the anxiety.
“yn? are you okay? alexia, what’s going on?”
alexia’s teary eyes met ingrid’s confused ones, the norwegian woman trying to figure out what was going on, it had only been a minute ago that alexia had excused herself from the teams celebrations to come and meet you near the bench, where you always met. only, when she began to make her way towards the tunnel so she could get ready and go home to mapi, she saw you with your back to the rest of the stadium and alexia with the angriest look she had ever seen on her friends face. not a good sign at all.
“he hurt yn! pushed her into the barrier and now she’s hurting but, she won’t talk to me and i don’t know what to do!” the catalan woman was quick to explain the situation to ingrid whose jaw dropped at the revelation, her eyes immediately seeking you out to see what state you were in now that she was up close.
she approached you cautiously, as if you were some wounded, stray animal who might run away at the first sign of contact, and placed a gentle hand on your back.
“call the medics over, they’ll be able to give her a brief assessment and will tell you if you need to get her to a hospital.” ingrid told alexia, her voice carrying a much needed sense of calmness that was desperately needed at the moment, but on the inside the dark haired woman was anything but.
alexia nodded rapidly, giving you one more troubled look as if she didn’t want to depart from you, but she knew you needed help, now. so she quickly spun on her foot and ran as fast as she could to the bench, where the medics were still gathering their belongings thankfully.
ingrid watched her go for a moment until her attention turned to you, “hey yn, can you stand up straight for me? or is it too painful?”
your iron like grip on the railings had your knuckles turning a white colour, which ingrid took notice of before you shook your head wildly, all that left your mouth was a harsh breath.
“you can’t stand up?”
this time you nodded.
ingrid sighed, already knowing you weren’t in a good state when she approached, but now her heart beat wildly in her chest when she realised how bad it really was. she could only imagine how erratic alexia was feeling, god knows what she’d be like if she was in this situation with mapi one day.
all the norwegian could do is rub you back in an attempt to ease even a tiny bit of your discomfort, but in the back of her mind she knew any of her efforts would be a waste.
it wasn’t long before alexia rushed back, this time with the medics following closely behind and even a few more barca girls who had overheard the loud ramblings of their captain a few feet away, and had to come see if you were okay.
the medics moved quickly to give you a look over, they weren’t specialised in anything pregnancy related unfortunately but they were the closest thing the team had to actual doctors so you just had to cope with what you had until you could be seen by the real thing.
they tried their best to asses you without causing you too much discomfort, a task easier said than done as you seemed to wince and cry out at every prod or poke near your stomach, which is where they needed to be. alexia watched a few feet away, feeling helpless as she watched her love almost collapsing from the pain and she could do nothing to help, not even hold your hand and whisper reassurances into your ear as the medics needed all the space they could get.
rölfo was on one side of her, rubbing the woman’s back in some attempt at comforting the captain, whilst claudia stood on her other side, gripping alexia’s hand in her own as she nibbled on her bottom lip, all three of them watching your every move.
the doctors asked you a few questions, similar to how alexia had done earlier but less frantically. what does the pain feel like? can you feel the baby moving at all? are you able to sit down? all were answered with a shake of your head, and your nerves grew when one of the female medics told you she was going to check under you dress to see if you had any bleeding.
both the staff, and the barca girls built a human made border around you so that she was able to discreetly lift your dress, just up to your upper thigh so that she was able to get a good look, the whole crowd of you visibly relaxing when she put her thumb up, no blood.
“we’re gonna get them to bring the ambulance on the pitch, okay? we need to get her to a hospital as soon as possible, the quicker we get her there, the better. she needs proper scans and tests that only hospitals can provide.” the medic explained, her eyes locking with alexia’s damp ones, who could only sniffle and nod in response.
the whole situation was surreal to her. only moments prior she was on a high from the win with her team, three points secured and an impressive clean sheet was the best turn out for her. and now, her stomach was in knots and she felt like she could be sick at any given moment, there was no way she could settle until she was reassured by a doctor that you and your baby were okay.
“alexia.” your strained voice called out amongst the various voices blending together around her, and the blonde perked up when she realised you were calling out for her.
she quickly approached you, cautious of your still hunched over figure with a hand quickly finding it’s way to the back of your head in an attempt to bring you any comfort as her nails scraped against your scalp with slow and gentle strokes. “mi amor? what’s wrong?”
“just, need you here. please.” you told her through gritted teeth, “don’t leave me.”
“nunca, dulce niña, nunca.” her words came across firm and steady, which was an apparent difference from her previous wobbly voice, something you were grateful for.
you knew alexia would be losing her mind as the seconds passed by, the usual calm exterior she demonstrated to the public whenever she knew she had eyes on her had been completely thrown out of the window, any worry for how people may regard her gone as her entire body shook with anxiety. but the second you needed her, needed that steady presence by your side to help you breathe properly, it was back.
she continued to comfort you in her own special was as you both uneasily awaited the arrival of the ambulance which you were assured was coming as fast as possible. her fingers glided through your hair, her nails continuing to scrape at your scalp, gently tugging on any knots and travelling all the way down to the nape of your neck, before travelling all the way back up again as she repeated the same motion over and over. you closed your eyes and tried your very best to focus only on your fiancée’s touch, rather than the pain that still seared just below your belly button, a task easier said than done.
eventually the blue lights flickered behind your eyelids, and the high pitched screech of the siren blasted throughout the stadium, alerting the few that weren’t already aware, that there was an emergency of some kind on the pitch. the vehicle came to a steady halt only a few feet away, eliminating as much walking distance as it physically could for you. the back doors swung open and two paramedics jumped out, a man and a woman who sussed you out pretty quickly, being the only obvious pregnant woman.
as they helped you into the back of the ambulance, alexia clung onto you the whole way, refusing to depart from you for even a second as if you were her life line. her hand stayed gripped onto yours, whilst her other stuck to your lower back whilst she gently guided you up the two stairs attached to the ambulance.
the barca girls said their goodbyes, wishing you well and telling alexia to keep them updated, though you weren’t sure if the blonde registered their requests, her body language showing no indication that she acknowledged them at all, but they didn’t take it to heart. they knew she would get into contact with them when everything had settled, hopefully with good news.
now, hours later, it was just yourself and alexia sat in a dimly lit hospital room, you laid back on the bed with alexia sat on the small couch that she had pulled up to the bed so that she could sit with her hand in yours, her thumb stroking your knuckles. you were both enjoying the peace and quiet after the long and stressful day you had both just endured, one you were both glad to see the back of.
the doctors had been in and out continuously, after their initial tests when you had arrived they were in good spirits about the health of your baby. they had let you know that everything seemed okay, the only concern they had was the baby’s heartbeat which was a little faster than normal but they reassured you that was more than likely due to the scare it had when you had fallen into the barrier with quite some force. still, they kept you in just to be sure, returning to the room every hour or so to do regular checks.
alexia was still clad in her barcelona kit, captain armband and all, even after you had reassured her you would be fine for an hour or so if she wanted to head home, shower and get herself into something a little comfier. she had only given you a look as if you had openly insulted her, adamant that she should stay with you to be sure that she was here if anything happened. she would never be able to forgive herself if she had left and things took a turn for the worse.
“how are you feeling now mi amor? are you still getting any pains?” she asked, her hands squeezing yours as she did.
“nope, they faded off awhile ago baby. there’s a little pressure but it’s not painful, maybe a little uncomfortable but i can deal with it.” you explained to her as best as you could, smoothing your spare hand over your clothed bump with an affectionate grin.
she nodded at your response, knowing there wasn’t anything she could do except be grateful that you were at least no longer in pain.
“i was so scared when i saw you, the way he pushed you, my heart dropped into my stomach i thought i was going to pass out from the panic i felt.”
you looked towards alexia with a frown, noticing the far away look in her eye as she spoke, her gaze was fixated on the bedsheets you were laid under as if she was replaying the earlier events in her head which didn’t surprise you one bit.
“hey, look at me.” you pulled at her hand, jerking her body forward slightly so that she was torn from her never ending, doom and gloom filled thoughts. her hazel eyes met yours and you felt your heart clench at the clear anxiety still present in them.
“i’m okay, the baby is okay, you’re okay. we’re all okay.” you spoke with confidence, making sure she believed every word coming out of your mouth. “i can’t imagine how scary it was to witness what you did, and i know it’s going to leave you shaken up for a long time but baby, everything is fine. in a few hours we’ll be dismissed, we’ll be back at home and it’ll be like nothing ever happened.”
you weren’t sure if those words were the right ones, but you did notice how alexia’s shoulders visibly softened and the grip on your hand fizzled ever so slightly, so you figured you must’ve said something she needed to hear. the star player nodded her head, her eyes momentarily flickering towards the monitor that kept record of the baby’s heartbeat before they returned to yours, this time her lips quirked upwards slightly and you were relieved to see her slowly returning the light hearted woman you knew her to be.
“you’re right, mi amor. and i am so glad you are okay, you mean everything to me. i hope you know that.”
you smiled at that, leaning forward to plant an appreciative kiss to the woman’s lips at her heartwarming words. “trust me ale, i know. and the feeling is wholeheartedly mutual.”
her grin mirrored yours, and you both shared another kiss, this one lasting a few seconds longer than the one prior. this time when you pulled away, alexia’s expression had transformed into a more serious one, her eyes darkening ever so slightly.
“that security guard will never be allowed back at any of our games again. not after today, he’s lucky he left in one piece, if you hadn’t been my main focus i would have done something i couldn’t undo.” she spat, her tone filled with venom towards the man who was the reason you were stuck in a hospital room right now.
“well it’s a good job i was then, huh?” you nudged her playfully, “though i appreciate the sentiment, i’m glad you didn’t end up doing something that could’ve potentially ruined your career.”
she hummed at that, “well he should think himself lucky that you’re okay, both of you. or else he’d be dealing with something else entirely.”
you didn’t respond to that, only smiled at the woman who was so fiercely protective over you and your unborn child, something that you found incredibly endearing.
just as you were about to ask if she was sure she didn’t want to return home to get a much needed shower and change of clothes, the door once again creaked open, and you looked over expecting to see the doctor that had been assigned to you. but instead, your brow arched in confusion when a head peaked around the slightly ajar door, one that certainly did not belong to the doctor.
instead, the blonde looked to you and alexia with a cheeky grin, with what looked like a ‘get well soon’ balloon floating in and out of the room behind her. “lo siento, but when alexia told me you were okay i had to come down and check for myself.”
mapi explained herself, and you smiled at the defender who was clearly itching to be invited into the room by alexia, who seemed to be stuck between amusement and annoyance at the impatience of her dear friend.
“is it just you?” alexia asked, rising to her feet for the first time since you had both been here.
“um, well.” mapi’s voice trailed off as she pushed the door wider, the culprits who had been exposed tensing up as they were now revealed to their captain, and you had to hold back your laughter at their nervous smiles.
alexia sighed at the sight of her teammates. patri, claudia, ona, salma, vicky and even aitana all stood in a huddle behind mapi who had obviously been elected as the one to enter the room first, the rest fearing the wrath of the great alexia putella’s if they entered at the wrong time.
“dios mío, you guys couldn’t have just waited to see us?” alexia sighed, and you hushed her.
“it’s okay bebé, i think it’s sweet. let them come in.” you told your fiancée who looked at you to make sure you were okay with it, when you nodded your head in response, she shook hers at your soft heart, but gestured for the girls to enter anyways which they did in seconds.
“where’s ingrid? i’m surprised she let you do this.” you asked mapi who was busying herself by tying the balloon to the side of your bed.
“oh she’s waiting in the car. incase alexia kicked us all out.”
(sorry i am awful at endings but i hope you enjoyed this)

A/n: This is going to be a multi-chapters, most of the chapters won't be social midia or something. It is going to 'follow' the 2023 F1 season. Reader is Toto's eldest child by a fictitious ex- first wife. I just watched Break Point, with is another sport Netflix docuseries from the same producing company that makes DST, and since then I have this idea of a prodigy tennis player reader.
next part»
GQ 10 things Y/n Wolff can’t live without
“Hi GQ, I am Y/n Wolff and here are my essentials.” The young woman opens her arms looking at the objects displayed on the table, before looking up and smiling to the camera.
# Sugar
“My trainer may not agree. My coaches may not agree. My performance coach may not agree. My parents definitely don’t agree.” She points out, “But I need sugar.” The young woman brings to the centre of the table a small pile of sweets, a tall cup of caffeinated drink and a can of Red Bull, “I live of sugar and… sugary things…”
“My day starts with this lovely peppermint iced mocha sweetened with vanilla sugar… a ton of vanilla sugar.” Y/n laughs taking a sip of her drink “I am weirdly obsessed with mint and chocolate combinations…” She comments looking at the camera, “I drink perhaps two or three of those per day,” The young woman then places her hand over the top of the Red Bull can, most people who follow her already know that she is an athlete sponsored by Red Bull, “sugar-free Red Bull, which ironically is sweeter than the regular one.” She puts her hand on the pile of chocolates, “Milk-chocolate, I am not going to lie and say that I eat the healthy stuff, I don’t, I have the taste buds of a child,” the tennis player smiles mischievously at the camera, “right now I am really into this Finnish chocolate, Geisha and the blue Fazer, daddy always keep those in his offices for me.” She wrinkles her nose a little, giving the camera a lovely—childish—smile.
“Aero Mint bar, Chocolate Orange, Maltesers, Bounty, Kinder, truffles…I'm honestly starting to wonder how we managed to get through customs.” She laughs looking at her entourage behind the cameras. “This is like… a fraction of what I usually travel with, this is more like what I have in my bag for the day.”
#Photos
Y/n played a little with a golden square object in her hand.
“I travel a lot, I am on the road from January to November playing at tournaments around the world, so I can’t always be surrounded or in touch with the people that I love,” she says in a slightly more serious tone, taking the golden case in her hands and pressing the button to open, showing pile of polaroid photos, “those are mini Polaroids, so I can bring them with me wherever I go, I keep them inside this vintage cigarette case that belonged to my maternal grandmother, she was a absolute rockstar and I miss her very much.” The camera takes a close-up on the golden case with rope motif and small colourful stones. “As I don’t smoke, I had to find another use for it.”
The first photo she shows is five adults together, smiling around a table, in what appears to be a ski resort.
“I have a very patchwork family, and somehow the adults in my life made it work…which I am very grateful for, not everyone is lucky to have so many amazing parents…so here I have my mum and my two other mothers, Stephanie and Susie, papa and my other father, Phillippe,” the second photo is her with a boy not much younger than her, two teenage girls and a small child in front of a Christmas tree, “my siblings, I have four, I am the eldest whatever way you go, huge flex,” the photo is followed by one of a pyjama party with several girls in matching pyjamas, and another of the tennis player with a blonde in front of the Eiffel Tower, “My gurls! This is my best friend, she is also my PA… so amazing to have someone I trust so much with me all the time…” a golden cocker spaniel with a crystal necklace, silk bows in its ears and a Gucci sweater appears on the screen, “this is Éclair Wolff, my emotional support dog aka my child, she actually goes with me mostly everywhere, but sometimes I leave her with my mum so she won’t be stressed by the long flights.”
She points to the next three photos, the first has the Mercedes drivers in Tommy Hilfinger, posing for the photo. “Lew and Georgie, the adopted older brothers I never asked for, but I love them.” The second photo has three other familiar faces making faces at the camera, “C2, my Ferrari boys, feat Pear, there is something wholesome about good looking men looking so silly, I love those guys and I love this picture, it is very on brand with them.” The tennis player smiles at the camera. “Sharls, Carlitos and Pear are three of the nicest guys I have ever met, it is truly a blessing be able to call them friends and having them in my life.”
McLaren driver Lando Norris, in his third or fourth season, apparently not even realizing he was having his photo taken, it's a spontaneous photo, the soft sunlight highlighting the driver's profile as he smiles.
“Because of karting, I’ve known Lando since I was a head taller than him, he was my first crush…he was so shy, so adorable, so babygirl coded.” Y/n blushed a little as she shows the photo.
“I think most of the current grid is in here…oh, look, it’s Lance! Friends from life, from tennis…” She quickly changes showing another photo. “I think I easily have about sixty photos here..."
#Camera
“I don’t have a specific camera I like more than the others, but as a rule, I prefer vintage cameras just for the beauty of the final result, I inherited a few, I bought a few, I usually develop the photos when I'm at home for longer periods of time, edit the videos, digitalize a few…” She points to the cameras in front of her, a Bolex, a Digital Bolex, a very iconic Rolleiflex and a Super 8, “It is a very nostalgic experience to just go through a year worth of memories…” She says resting her face in her hand, “I have a hundred boxes with pictures and film rolls.”
“I love going through old pictures with my mom and Cass, my younger sister, from when we were babies, my parents in the 90’s, my mom when she was young, the wonderful life my grandparents lived, and is such a lovely moment to share with my mom.” Y/n has a soft smile on her lips. “One day, when I have my own kids, I want to have those moments with them, and not just scrolling through a phone or an iPad.”
#Journals
“I keep journals since I was a child, I get a new one every year,” She holds up the leather hardcover notebook, a deep indigo blue, a little worn around the edges, “after I turned thirteen years old, I started to get it in this specific shade of blue, with my initials in gold,” The girl opens the journal, leafing through it briefly, “I am never going to write an auto-biography, it’s kind of a little bit too egocentric to my taste,” She knocks it closed, but keeps it up, looking at the camera as she speaks , “but if someone ever write about me, fifty years from now… the facts will be straight, at least from my point of view… but even if no one ever writes about me… when I am old and grey and memory starts to fail me, I will be able to come back to the thoughts of twenty years old me…”
There is a moment of silence.
“That was kind of dark.” Y/n laughs to break the tension.
#Art Supplies
“I love to draw and paint, it eases the anxieties of life,” The tennis player shows the large sketchbook, a small aluminium case with the watercolours, and the rolling leather case with pencils and brushes, “I always bring a watercolour travel kit with my sketchbook wherever I go.”
She displays for the internet some of the landscapes she painted during her travels around the world.
#Hoodies
“I like to be comfortable after a match,” she spreads her arms across the perfectly folded hoodies on the table, “and nothing is more comfortable than a hoodie, feels a little bit like home.”
“I have my collection of hoodies with Adidas, they always provide me with new cool colours to try out and see if I want to add to the next collection,” Y/n opens sage green hoodie, running her hand over her initials and the Adidas logo. “Enchanté by Dani Ric, I have a bunch of those, Daniel is always kind enough to drop them at my house in Monaco, VIP treatment baby.” She points to the white hoodie. “Quadrant hoodies, Lando’s merch, ridiculously comfy, I would really like them in pastel colours or dusty rose… just putting out to the universe…” Y/n smiles and winks at the camera. “Valtteri, MV1… those all came with me for the US Open.”
#Skincare
“This is part of my daily routine.” The girl opens the toiletry bag, taking out the products inside, “I am always in different countries and different hotel rooms, so is nice to have this little sense of routine.”
She lines the pearlescent bottles with opaque round lids on top of the table.
“I launched Muse when I was seventeen years old, it is my skincare brand, and it is very me. I wanted it to be un-complicated and complete,” The young woman explains passionately looking at the camera, “skin is the body’s largest organ, and it is not only your face.” It affects the hair on your face, tucking it behind your ear before going back to the product bottles. “The line goes from body wash to suncream to night-time routine.”
#Travel Pillow
“If I mess up my neck and shoulder, I am f***ed, my match is over and possibly the tournament.” She holds up a medium-sized pillow to the camera, the pillowcase light pink silk with red buttonholes around the edges and her initials in the corner. “So, this baby goes with me everywhere, it is a memory foam pillow with a silk pillowcase. Best sleep, best hair.”
#Sport Gear
“I generalized here, sport gear, I travel heavy, always,” she points to the array of equipment on the table, “this is my racket, I go to each tournament with around ten of those, just in case I wreak one on the ground,” Y/n passes her hand over the racket, “those are custom Yonex Ezone 98, they made it in Mountbatten pink with some cool pattern and my initials,” she smiles as she pulls the helmet close to her chest, “my helmet, also custom Mountbatten pink, with my initials in rose, I love to try new karting tracks, most people don’t know I used to race karts when I was younger, won a couple of trophies, went as far as F3 before I choose to go pro with tennis, car racing is a huge thing in my family…my dad used to race, my stepmom was a driver, my little brother probably going to be a F1 driver,” she recounts with a smile, “I joked once with my dad that we are at a window that if I have a kid in the next year or two, in twenty years we can have a Wolff’s drivers line-up for Mercedes.” The young woman smirks to the camera. “My dad almost passed out, and now I am not allowed to date until I am thirty.”
#Headphones
“Those are custom made for me, again, they are Mountbatten pink and rose with my logo, super comfortable on the ears, I usually have problems with headphones due to the piercings and earrings, but these didn't give me any problems, they fit well, and I can spend the whole day wearing them." She takes the gadget out of the case, showing the details. “It's not wireless, because I always forget to charge it, so it has a wire, they made this lovely, thick cord that is durable and super resistant,” Y/n wraps the rope around her fingers, “it is noise cancelling and it is always with me before every match as an essential part of my pre-match rituals.”
“The right music kind of puts you in the right mood, I usually go with Eminem in 80% of my matches, I feel like it unleashes my inner fighter, these are matches where I'm not really worried about my opponent, it is just raw and a little bit thoughtless, I just play,” she comments, “when I know that my opponent is going to be hard on the mind games, which is not an uncommon move in tennis, I tend to listen to calmer and more melancholic music, piano, it keeps me in a more peaceful zone, I don’t get pumped up and full of adrenaline, my game tends to be far more calculated…”
#
“That’s it. Those were my ten essentials,” the young woman smiles, “thank you, GQ, for allowing me to share my essentials, much appreciated, and thank you guys for taking the time to watch it! Much love and see you next time!” The athlete says, blowing a kiss and winking to the camera as the credits shows up.

i was todays yrs old when i found out that tennis superstar Y/n Wolff is the eldest child of THE Toto Wolff
user1
From what little she talks about her dad here, u just get the vibes that Merce boss Toto is a softie girl dad, he keeps her favourite candy in his offices and forbids her to date until she’s thirty, this is so sweet
haterone
a billionaire’s nepo baby, talking about her millionaire friends and her unrelatable lifestyle and things
usertwo
Y/n’s hair is probably the healthiest hair i ever seen i need her hair routine
userthree
I am so obsessed with her career! I want to see her continue to succeed and be one of the biggest tennis players of all times. She deserves it. Such a talented, humble kid.
userfour
i loved hearing her talk about her family and friends!!! it is so crazy that she is close friends with a bunch of F1 drivers.
hatertwo
Not so crazy since she’s literally a f1 nepo baby, her daddy is part owner of Mercedes.
userfive
She's like that one super popular chick in school who's actually a total sweetheart.
usersix
I totally relate to her being a sweet tooth
@userseven
I love that she was not talking to the camera. She was actually talking to the people there behind the scenes
usereight
i love how a lot of these items are usually a stereotype of being pretentious—a vintage cartier cigarette case, a film camera, a leather bound custom hermes journal, art supplies--but she talks about all of them with such genuine interest and attachment that it doesnt seem pretentious at all
usereighteen
U r the one name dropping the brands she uses…
usernine
Her nicknames for Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr and Pierre Gasly… I died dead…
user9
The fact that she’s gushing about lando and being so sweet about her childhood crush on him oml
user10
Omg it is so cuuute!!! Like, she had a crush on little Lando and not McLaren glow up Lando Norris
user11
I used to be so conflicted shipping her with the drivers, because she dates that tennis player, but her insta has a bunch of her and Charles and her and Pierre and her and Lance and it is so cute and kind of gives such soft vibes, those boys look half in love with her in most pictures, also ...the chemistry. but seeing the way she talks about Lando… they r my new diehard ship…
userten
Are we going to ignore that she confessed that Lando Norizz was her first crush???
user1
They would be so cute together… and they ate both single now… at the same time… we can dream…
user12
i went ten steps further and in my head, they are already getting married and having cute future Mercedes world drivers’ champions…
user13
Can we already dream of Lando at Mercedes???
usereleven
Ok… but didn’t Lando once commented like, very briefly, in a McLaren video, that he used to have a crush on a girl that used to go karting with him??? The girl who wore red ribbons in her hair… do you guys know who uses red ribbons in heir hair since she was an actual baby?? Y/n! There is a pic in her insta of her in a karting track with her dad, and she has red bows in her hair…
user11
Not gonna lie… It would be kinda of cute if they actually had a mutual childhood crush and then eventually end up together as adults…

my character ai bots:
jjk:
gojo satoru:
his eyes r funny looking- now, you were laughing your ass off due to the fact that he took off his blindfold during a mission with a curse. you couldn’t help but laugh because he looked so stupidly serious.
wardrobe malfunction- as you walked out he stifled a laugh. “what the hell are ya wearin’?”
he’s annoying- he is so annoying. even in highschool he was unbearable to be around. you hated his annoying ass. but he loved being around you.
vampire au- “oh? the little princess is out of her kingdom? wanted to see me huh?” he teased, looking at her as she hangs upside down.
can’t get enough of him- you and gojo have been on and off since highschool. it’s like everytime you both break up you both just can’t get enough of each other…
your affair- even if you were married he still didn’t care. his feelings for you are deep. he loves you. no matter how many times you tell him you have to stop the little affair going on between you two, he simply doesn’t care
geto suguru:
dad’s best friend- “gonna be quiet like a good girl? or show your dad that you’re just a very bad girl?” he whispered in your ear. his voice deep and quiet, sending chills down your spine.
nanami kento:
healing ur daddy issues- “how’s my baby girl doing today hm?” he pat his lap, gently. “come here, sit.”
yu haibara:
he’s gone- “i’ll be back! don’t miss me too much!” he cheekily smiled. that damn smile… that would be the last time you’d ever see it again.
he’s sick- he coughs and pouts as he lays in his dorm room bed. he was squirming around, sweating and throwing his covers off him. he was currently sick, he was missing a mission that he wanted to go on so badly
he admires you- you disliked him because he followed you around like a lost puppy… he admired you, an upperclassman.
yuji itadori:
he’s delulu- meeting Itadori you didn’t expect him to be so clingy and so sweet to you. little did you know he has a huge crush on you, he is a bit obsessive but he doesn’t let you know that.
your parents hate him- the thing about him is that he is sometimes a bit dumb? he just doesn’t seem like a professional person so when your parents met him, they didn’t like him at all. but that never stopped you from loving him or the other way around
dorky best friend- currently though the two of you were on a mission, sharing a hotel room. he was in a white robe, swirling a glass of wine being dramatic. it was his first time wearing a robe and he wanted to be fancy, be in the moment like a dork.
shibuya arc- “im nothing but a murderer! i can’t forgive myself!” he cried. you stood there looking down at him. sukuna only took over his body for a minute and a lot things happened.
best boyfriend- currently, he was resting between your thighs as you both watch a movie, he used his arms to squish himself against his face some more. “i wouldn’t mind dying from suffocation if it’s with these”
gossiping w him- “HUH?! i need to hear about this, spill everything.” he said in a dramatic tone, joking.
captain of the football team-“hey, you comin’ to my game tonight? last one of the season, I need my lucky charm there to cheer for me.” he giggled, turning you around to face him, your back pressed against your locker.
older brother’s best friend- you were drunk off your ass at some party. yuji spotted you and immediately got on his feet to help you as you stumbled around. “are you okay? megumi is gonna kill you… I’ll get you home”
your his mentor- haibara and yuji had so many similarities. it hurt you to just look at yuji’s smile, being reminded of haibara who died back in your teenage years
he’s in love w you but you already have a boyfriend- yuji is no homewrecker but… currently you’ve stumbled on top of him while training him… he can’t help but think about how Yuta doesn’t deserve you. how Yuta is connected to the woman you used to be.
megumi fushiguro:
step brother- “tch. what the hell are you looking at?” he asked, scaring a guy that had his eyes on you.
yuta okkotsu:
he chose geto’s side- the day he met Geto he was nervous. Geto explained why he wants to kill everyone who isn’t a sorcerer. at the time he declined the offer to join him but later on he rethought his decision. he thought about his past. he left with Geto.
he likes when you hurt him- the two of you brawled for a bit, ending up with your knee on his back, pinning him down. one hand gripping his hair, the other hand pinning down his hand.
your a fan- gojo-sensei took you with him to greet the sorcerer that you’ve heard so much about. he was coming back from training abroad in Africa. you were excited.
helping the newbie- “hey not to be rude but do you not like me…? i feel the tension between us…” he mumbled, frowning slightly.
your other half- right now you both were walking together. he had something important to tell you, he was gonna be training in Africa in a few weeks. gojo-sensei told him he should tell you but he’s just been nervous
inumaki toge:
hajime kashimo:
noritoshi kamo:
guys I will be adding more soon, please leave some suggestions tho ! <3

Without a Shadow of a Doubt
This has been sitting in my WIPs for literal months- and here it is. I hope you enjoy her.
Summary: Melissa helps you raise a child, and on more than one occasion, you have serious doubts that you're a good mother.
WC: ~5.1k
When you moved into your new apartment complex with your three month old baby girl, perhaps the last thing you expected was to meet someone who would fill a hole in your heart that your ex-husband left when he up and abandoned you and the new baby that he claimed would be the love of his life.
Of course, that statement came with a caveat; he wanted a son. So when the doctor gleefully announced that you had given birth to a daughter, he fumed and stormed his way out of the hospital. And when you came home the next day, once your mother picked you up and took you back to your quaint little apartment in, anything that belonged to you was in a box. He told you to get out, and the divorce papers would come through a few weeks later.
Your mother had been gracious enough to let you and your little girl stay with her for some time, but you need your freedom and space. So, not only did you have an ongoing divorce- you also had a three month old baby that depended on you for everything, and on top of that, you were dealing with moving into a new apartment. So, maybe the last thing you expected was to meet someone who would fill a hole in your heart, but the absolute last thing that you expected was to fall in love with a woman. But it would end up happening.
Your mother has been a huge help in this whole ordeal- helping to bring the various boxes into the new little one bedroom apartment that now had your name on the lease, holding and rocking your little girl while you did as much as you could, fed you and the baby when you were too exhausted and would fall asleep sitting in the rocking chair that she had helped assemble, and above all else, she has been your rock. She’s been the one person who shows you unwavering love and support in terms of your impending divorce. Almost everyone else in your life attempted to show sympathy, but it oftentimes came off as judgmental or downright pity.
But now, your mother is sitting in the Philadelphia airport waiting for her flight back to Indiana to take off, and you’re in the new apartment all alone. All alone, aside from the baby. She’s strapped to your chest as you attempt to make dinner for yourself, but something in her little body is not having any parts of this. She wails- ear-piercing shrieks that make you want to burst into tears too. You quickly get her out of the sling and attempt to hold her and soothe her all while continuing to stir the pot of soup you have on the burner. This was so much easier when you had both hands free.
But your little love just continues to cry, her face bright red, and the tears are running down her pudgy little cheeks as she clenches her little fists and beats your chest repeatedly.
Giving up, you turn off the stove and turn your attention fully to the baby.
“Sweet Ellie girl,” you sigh. You stroke her cheek gently with the tip of your finger. “What is it?” You know she isn’t hungry- she ate half an hour ago. She burped afterward. Her diaper is dry. What on Earth could this sweet little thing want? You suppose that she just wants to be held and loved. You can do that- you can do that far better than your soon-to-be ex-husband could ever. With a little exhale, you open the pantry and grab yourself a granola bar to eat before settling into the rocking recliner that you have in the living room thanks to your father. You eat around Ellie as you mindlessly hum a few lullabies before switching into a few of the softer songs you know. You were somewhat hoping that she would be lulled to sleep with your soothing voice and sweet melodies, but your efforts are fruitless. That sweet little love of yours continues to stare up at you with wide eyes as she clutches your pinky in her own hand.
You sit there for what feels like forever, humming songs ranging from Adele to Bob Dylan to Join Mitchell and everything in between. That is, until you hear a knock on your door.
That in itself is odd. You don’t know anybody here, at least not yet. And it couldn’t be your mother. You know she had boarded her plane an hour ago and is in the air- she had texted you that much. She then followed that text up with a reminder to take care of yourself and that she was always just a phone call away if you needed her for anything. Your heart almost flies into your throat at the thought of it being Michael, your ex. Why would he show up here after serving you with divorce papers and telling you that he wanted absolutely nothing to do with the ‘little worm’ you brought into the world?
“Let’s go see who’s at the door,” you whisper to the little one in your arms. You continue to mindlessly hum a tune, one that you’ve always adored- ‘Here Comes the Sun’ by the Beatles- as you make your way over to the door. Looking through the peephole, you see a redhead with a box in her arms. Her green eyes nearly stare into your soul as she tries to decipher if you’re going to answer or not.
Out of curiosity, you open the door. “Hello, can I help you?”
The woman, whose green eyes have already been imprinted into your memory, just gives you half a shrug as she looks down at the baby in your arms.
“Uh, I didn’t think I left any boxes in the moving truck?” you question with a nervous chuckle.
The woman almost snorts out a laugh before she remembers why she’s here. “No. I uh, I’m your next door neighbor. I saw that you had a baby, and I work at a school, and I-“ she hums absentmindedly. “Some of my coworkers were getting rid of their baby items, so I came to offer them to you- if you want them.”
“Oh!” your eyebrows creep up your forehead. “That’s- that’s really kind of you.”
“Do you want the stuff or not?” the redhead asks.
“Please,” you smile softly. “Thank you.”
“Where you want it?” she asks a she looks around your place.
“If you just want to put it on the kitchen table, I can handle it once I get Ellie in her crib for the night.”
The woman, whose name you still don’t know, enters your apartment, sets the box down, and looks around.
“Did you not eat?”
You look up at her, lifting your gaze from your baby. “I did.” Your eyes dart to the wrapper from your granola bar, and you’re just a bit embarrassed that you hadn’t thrown it out. But how were you to know that she would drop by?
“All you had was a granola bar?” she asks as her own eyes follow your gaze. You nod sheepishly. Her eyes go to the pot on the stove, and before you can stop her, she looks inside. It’s just chicken stock, onion, and celery- that was as far as you got with making dinner before Ellie started wailing and effectively put your meal on hold. “Sit down,” are the next words out of her mouth. “Hold your little girl, and I’m making you dinner.”
“What?” your mouth opens and closes a few times. “I- You don’t have to do that. I don’t know you, you don’t know me.”
“Melissa,” is all the woman says as she opens up your refrigerator and grabs the chicken breast that you were meant to put into the soup. “Now sit and relax.”
Her tone leaves no room for argument, so you settle in a chair.
“Th-thank you,” you say quietly after a few moments of awkward silence.
She waves a hand in dismissal. “So, what’s your story?”
You mull over in your head just how much of your past you should reveal to this woman, a stranger- but also your next door neighbor who is cooking you dinner. You end up detailing that your husband left you days after you had your little girl, just dipping slightly into the fact that he left you due to the fact that you had a daughter and not a son. “Her name is Elizabeth, but I’ve kind of landed on the nickname ‘Ellie’,” you tell her softly.
“And your name?” she prompts.
You give her your name as she stirs the dinner she’s making. And it smells heavenly.
“Well, Y/N,” Melissa says your name in such a way that you’ve never loved your name more. “For what it’s worth, I think you’ll be better off without him. He sounds like a jackass.” And then she sets the bowl down in front of you and holds her arms out expectantly.
“Oh,” you whisper. “I uh, I can hold her while I eat. You don’t have to. You’ve already done enough.”
“Just let me hold her.” Green eyes are rolled before practically daring you to protest. “You’ve been holding her for the last hour, at least. Your arms have to be tired.”
You bite your lip before hesitantly handing your sweet pride and joy over to the woman who stormed her way into your life not an hour ago, expecting Ellie to fuss- the only people she let hold her were you and her mother. She’s not even particularly fond of your father holding her, much to his disappointment. And somehow, Melissa knows just how to keep your little girl calm and quiet while you eat one of the most delicious bowls of soup you’ve ever had. She even has your little girl giggling before managing to get Ellie to fall asleep. You see the way that she’s a natural with your daughter, watching over both her and you with soft eyes that you weren’t quite expecting.
And since that day, Melissa has been a near constant in your apartment. Whether it’s to make a meal, to hold Ellie while you simply rest and reset, or to keep you company, she’s almost always there. Her presence is always warm and inviting, which is something that you’ve come to learn isn’t necessarily the norm for the woman that lives next to you.
You’ve discovered that she usually likes to keep to herself and her personal life is under wraps to almost everybody she knows. You’ve also discovered that you are the exception. Melissa Schemmenti, a woman who is usually very reserved and has described herself as ‘an aloof bitch at times’, is beyond soft for you. She’s even softer when it comes to your little girl, who you swear is growing up before your eyes.
About three months pass of you living in this new apartment with your next door neighbor almost always keeping you company before you finally give into the fact that you have a small thing for your neighbor. It takes another month before you ask her what her game is.
“What do you mean?” Melissa rolls her eyes at your question.
You hum softly as the two of you prepare a meal while Ellie is down for her nap. “You’ve told me yourself that you’re tough, aloof- and yet you’re always so gentle and kind to my daughter and me.”
She laughs, like fully laughs. “I thought my intentions were pretty clear.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I started by helping out a neighbor, but I may or may not have fallen for her and her sweet little girl.” Green eyes search your face for your reaction. The only reaction she gets is you taking a step towards her before pulling her in by the waist and planting a soft kiss to her lips.
Her eyes are blown wide when you pull away, and for a split second you think you made a mistake. But then she’s opening her mouth again. “Wow.”
“I- I may have fallen for you too,” you admit, cheeks flushed. “But I never thought you would want to-”
“I thought you were straight,” Melissa bites her bottom lip. At the shake of your head, she breathes a quiet, “Oh thank God,” before pulling you back in for a second kiss.
That is the beginning of your relationship with Melissa Schemmenti, next door neighbor. From the start, it’s been a serious relationship. You made it quite clear that you did not have the time for any flings, and she just rolled her eyes before heading towards the little nursery that you had set up for your daughter. Sometimes she jokes that she’s really only here for Ellie and not you.
She’s always been great with your sweet girl- and as you would come to find out, she will always be great with Ellie. So great actually… that sometimes feel that she’s a better mother to your daughter than you are.
The first time it happens is when Ellie is turning one year old. You’ve been so wrapped up in your job and making sure that your little girl is as happy as she can be at any given moment, that you entirely forget about planning a first birthday party for her.
“Shit!” you groan as you’re finishing up a project that you brought home for the weekend. “Fucking dammit!”
Your girlfriend stops her cooking and turns to you with a raised eyebrow. “Care to share with the class why you’re yelling out curse words while our girl is asleep?”
You pause your tirade when you hear her refer to Ellie as both of yours- it’s something she’s started doing recently, and it makes your heart flutter for a second. A dopey grin washes over your face for a moment before you frown again.
“I’ve been so busy trying to work on this website that I forgot to plan Ellie girl’s birthday party,” you admit quietly, planting your head in your hands. “I can’t believe I forgot. I’m a terrible mother.”
“You are not a terrible mother, and you didn’t forget,” Melissa tells you as she turns back around to tend to the pan on the stove.
“What are you talking about? I absolutely did.”
“You’ve been mumbling about planning it in your sleep, but when I never got an invitation, I planned it all for the two of you,” the redhead reveals.
“Wha- how?”
“If you checked your personal email once in a while, you would know this,” Melissa teases you. “It was pulled up on your laptop when you fell asleep in bed a few weeks ago, so I just sent out some e-vites.”
A few clicks of your laptop later, and you see that what she’s saying is true- there are quite a few responses to a birthday party being held at the apartment this weekend.
“I’ve been quietly cleaning while you’ve been working yourself to the point of exhaustion too, so the place will be ready,” the teacher chuckles. “I figure we use your place for the actual gathering, and we can put coats and presents and things like that at mine.”
You stand and make your way over to your girlfriend, spinning her around to face you. “What did I do to deserve you?”
“I ask myself that about you every night,” Melissa hums as she leans in to give you a quick peck.
“Thank you,” you whisper as you close your eyes and press your forehead against hers. “I’m glad that Ellie at least has one mother that didn’t forget to plan her first birthday party.”
Your girlfriend rolls her eyes, not that you see it. “I already told you, you didn’t forget- you just needed a bit of a push to send out the invites.”
“You planned the whole thing,” you point out.
Melissa kisses you softly. “I’m just looking out for my girls the best I can.”
The birthday party is an absolute success. It’s filled with her coworkers who have come to love and adore your little girl almost as much as Melissa, your parents were able to fly out for the gathering, and a few of your coworkers from your new job are able to make it to help celebrate the milestone of your little girl.
After everyone heads out, you’re exhausted, Ellie is absolutely beat, and you’re sure Melissa has to be tired too. But still, she insists that you hand over your little girl for her to hold while you take a nap after all of the emotions that you’ve felt today.
“Babe, I can handle it,” you try to tell her. “I’m-” you stifle a yawn.
“Go take a nap, hun,” the redhead says softly as she kisses your cheek. “Miss El and I are just going to do a bit of cleaning up before we come lay down with you.”
About an hour has gone by by the time your little girl and girlfriend are finished tidying up, and you’re dozing in and out of sleep. Feeling the bed dip slightly, you peel open your eyes and hold out your arms for your little girl to come into them. Ellie wiggles in the redhead’s arms and reaches for you, and as Melissa lays the two of them down, Ellie squeals with delight- she’s between two of her favorite people. She lets out the softest yawn before promptly falling asleep.
Melissa watches as your eyes soften, gaze on your little angel. “She’s perfect,” she muses softly.
“She really is,” you agree just as quietly. “And it has a lot to do with the fact that she has an amazing second mother who has really stepped up.”
“I’m pretty sure it’s because she has you for a mother,” the teacher argues.
You roll your eyes. “I’m hardly a great mother,” you sigh. “Honestly, there are some days I think you’re a better mother than I am.”
Melissa frowns, the lines in her forehead deepening. “Hun.”
You shrug. “I do my best with her, but you pulled all of this together for us. If it was up to me, there wouldn’t have been a first birthday party.”
“There would have been,” your girlfriend tells you. “And it would’ve been just as great.”
“I still should’ve-“
“You do everything you can for that little girl of ours,” the redhead says softly as she reaches over and brushes a few hairs away from your face. “Sometimes you need a little help, and I’ll always be here to help.”
As the years go on, there are times where you feel that you’re doing wonderfully as a mother, and there are other times that you feel like you have no idea what you’re doing and are beyond terrified that you’re ruining your child’s life.
Every time, Melissa is there to reassure you that you are perfect for your little girl.
The second time that you feel like Melissa is a better mother than you and you are feeling doubtful tenfold, at this point, you’ve been married for three years now. Ellie is five and entering kindergarten. The day where you send your little girl off comes quicker than you ever could’ve imagined, and yet here you are, walking hand in hand with your wife and your daughter into Abbott.
“You’re going to have such a great time with Auntie Barb,” you tell Ellie softly.
“It’s Mrs. Howard, Momma,” your daughter giggles. “At school, she’s Mrs. Howard.”
“How silly of me,” you playfully roll your eyes. “You’re going to have a great time with Mrs. Howard.”
And all is fine, and Ellie is excited, until it comes time to part with you and Melissa. Then it’s waterworks, and she can’t believe that you would even leave her for this long (despite the fact that she’s spent several nights with Barb and Gerald).
Despite every word of encouragement and praise that you give your little girl, she’s still absolutely hysterical. She clings to you, yes- but she’s mostly clinging to your wife. Ellie wants you, yes- but she really wants Melissa. The redhead looks down at the little girl she loves more than anything and sighs. She really should be down in her own classroom prepping for her little eagles, but Ellie comes first- she always has and always will.
“Baby,” Melissa breathes quietly as she kneels down in front of the girl in pigtails. “You’ve been so excited for school. What has you so nervous all of a sudden?”
“I want you,” Ellie mumbles into your wife’s shoulder. “I don’t wanna go to school; I just want to spend time with you.”
“Well,” the second grade teacher says softly. “Little girls have to go to school. But can you think of it this way? You get to make new friends, and I know Auntie Barb is so excited to have her little Ellie Belly in her class. During lunch, you can come say hi to Mom for the first few days, and we can call Momma if you want. And then when we get home, you get all the love.”
Your little girl looks at your wife suspiciously before furrowing her brow and sticking out her pinky. “You promise?”
You see the warmth wash over Melissa’s face as she sticks out her pinky. “I promise you, lovey. So, why don’t we let Momma head to work, and you and I can make our way down to Auntie Barb’s?”
Ellie worries her lip between her teeth before looking to you. “I guess.”
Green eyes meet your own as she pulls your little girl into her arms again. She whispers conspiratorially to your daughter, “I think Momma might need a hug before we head down, what do you think?”
Ellie flings herself at you with a bright, somewhat still teary, grin. “I love you Momma.”
“I love you too, sweet girl,” you tell her softly as you hold her close. You pepper her face in kisses before releasing her back.
Your daughter’s first day of kindergarten has you anxious as all hell. You hope she’s having an okay day, and you really do expect to receive a phone call at lunch from the two of them. You don’t.
You having a good first day? Is El? you text your wife.
It takes a minute, but you get a reply back. These kids are going to be the death of me, but El is having a grand ol’ time with Barb. She told me at lunch that she can’t wait to come back tomorrow.
You smile at that. You knew once Ellie actually made it into the room, she would be just fine. You only wish that your words of encouragement and affirmations would’ve made her feel more at ease. Instead, it was Melissa’s words. Thank you for helping get her to class today when I couldn’t. You’re the best Mom that little girl could ask for.
I’m pretty sure that’s you.
I couldn’t get her to let go of either of us, you reply. You just seem to have the magic touch with her.
Babe, you get a response. You have such a way with our daughter, but you also have to remember that I’ve been a teacher for years and have dealt with kids not wanting to go into school for forever- this is new to you just as it is for El.
That day when you get home from work, Melissa and your Ellie are already curled up on the couch relaxing. They’re both dead tired from their first days, and you can tell that it’s going to be an early night for everyone the way both of their eyelids are drooping as they try to stay awake for dinner. You drop your bag on the bench you keep by the front door before pressing gentle kisses to both of their heads and walking into the kitchen to start on dinner.
“Don’t,” your wife’s voice floats into the room as she carries a barely awake Ellie in. “I ordered your favorite on my way home, it’ll be here in about ten minutes.”
Your face falls just slightly- you were planning on making their favorite, in order for them to be able to relax and enjoy the first day of school being over. You just give her a soft smile instead, before you turn yourself back around to face the counter. And that’s when you see the beautiful bouquet of flowers sitting in a vase.
“Honey,” you sigh.
“Miss Ellie girl and I stopped on our way home to pick up flowers for Momma,” Melissa says softly. “Didn’t we?”
Your daughter nods in her arms before reaching for you. With a small grin on your face, and a few tears now beading in your eyes, you take your little girl. “Thank you,” you whisper as you delicately press a kiss to your wife’s cheek. You then dot a few sweet kisses to Ellie’s hairline.
Dinner is a quiet affair aside from Ellie sleepily telling you about her first day in kindergarten. The three of you settle on the couch to relax once dinner is cleaned up. It doesn’t take long for Ellie to fall asleep, sprawled out on both you and Melissa.
Melissa quietly details her first day- how the children were, how she was so happy to see Ellie giggling along with her classmates at lunch, and how Barbara just gushed about how your daughter was a big help in calming others’ nerves.
“She’s a good kid,” your wife finishes. “You’ve done great with her, babe.”
You look down at the little girl laying in your lap. “I didn’t do much.”
Green eyes stare at you incredulously. “Honey, I wish you could see how amazing you are. You’ve done wonderfully with her. She has your kindness and your compassion- she has your heart. And unfortunately for both of us, she picked up on my stubbornness. You’ve done so much for our little girl, and you are the perfect mother to her.”
You shrug. “I don’t know. I just… you know how I feel about this.”
“Tell me.”
“You already know,” you sigh as you rest your head against her shoulder. “And I think we need to start heading up to bed.”
“It can wait a few minutes,” your wife tells you. “So talk about it.”
With a breath, you tell her how you feel that you’re failing because you don’t know what you’re doing. You’re hurting Ellie because you’re so unsure of what you’re doing that your little girl is aware of your hesitations in the way you speak with her and act with her sometimes.
That weekend you head out to the grocery store, and for once Melissa and your daughter are not with you. No. Instead, they’re at home. Your wife has Ellie make you a card telling you that you are the world’s best mother and listing the things that she loves about you while Melissa writes it out. Then, the two of them get to turning the living room into a comfortable space to watch your favorite movies.
When you return home, your welcomed with a new bouquet of flowers (you later find out that Barbara dropped them off while you were out), the card, and what you can only describe as a blanket fort.
“What is this?” you ask softly as you carry in an armful of groceries.
“The best, for Momma,” Melissa says softly as she takes the bags out of your hands. She sets them down before pulling you into her arms. “Enjoy today.” She kisses you quickly before heading back out to the car and bringing in the rest of the groceries while Ellie pulls you into the massive pile of blankets on the floor.
“Momma, read the card,” your little girl tells you. You pull her into your lap and cuddle her close before reading the card. On one side is what Ellie had to say, while the other side is what your wife wanted to tell you. Their words and kindness bring tears to your eyes.
“Did we make you sad?” your daughter looks to you fearfully.
“No, baby. These are happy tears. Happy tears,” you promise her as you repeatedly kiss her head over and over.
Once your wife is finished putting away the groceries, she plops herself down next to the two of you and reaches for the remote. You put a gentle hand out to stop her, and when she looks at your curiously, you just kiss her gently.
“Thank you,” you sigh quietly as you press your foreheads together. The moment of silence most likely would’ve been longer if not for Ellie squealing about putting the movie on that she had picked out for you.
The rest of the day passes by in a blissful haze full of movies, warmth, and lots of snacks. The two of you put Ellie to bed before cleaning up the living room mess, and as you clean, you pick up the card again and read what Melissa had to say.
“I mean it, you know,” your wife says softly as she wraps her arms around your waist. “I am the luckiest person alive to get to have fallen in love with you, to help raise our beautiful little girl, and be the one who gets to love both of you through every high and low- every doubt and fear. But I promise you, we are the lucky ones to have you.”
You crane your neck to kiss her gently. “Thank you.”
“Thank you,” Melissa repeats back as she tucks a few stray hairs behind your ear. “Please know that I will always be here for you- my wonderful, lovely, perfect wife, as we work our way through motherhood together.”
From next to your wife, you groan as you let your head fall against her shoulder.
“What?”
“If I’m feeling like this now, how the hell am I going to feel when she’s a teenager?”
The redhead chuckles as she brings your left hand up to her lips and kisses just under the rings that sit beautifully on your finger. “I’ll be there for you, and Ellie. Always.”
And she is there for you. She always has been. She always is. She always will be.

John playing his and Yoko's sex tape in a band meeting
As the meeting was drawing to a weary close, John, not this day with Yoko, who hadn’t seemed particularly connected with what was going on, said he wanted to play us a tape he and Yoko had made. He got up and put the cassette into the tape machine and stood beside it as we listened. The soft murmuring voices did not at first signal their purpose. It was a man and a woman but hard to hear, the microphone having been at a distance. I wondered if the lack of clarity was the point. Were we even meant to understand what was going on, was it a kind of artwork where we would not be able to put the voices into a context, and was context important? I felt perhaps this was something John and Yoko were examining. But then, after a few minutes, it became clear. John and Yoko were making love, with endearments, giggles, heavy breathing, both real and satirical, and the occasional more direct sounds of pleasure reaching for climax, all recorded by the faraway microphone. But there was something innocent about it too, as though they were engaged in a sweet serious game. John clicked the off button and turned again to look toward the table, his eyebrows quizzical above his round glasses, seemingly genuinely curious about what reaction his little tape would elicit. However often they’d shared small rooms in Hamburg, whatever they knew of each other’s love and sex lives, this tape seemed to have stopped the other three cold. Perhaps it touched a reserve of residual Northern reticence. After a palpable silence, Paul said, “Well, that’s an interesting one.” The others muttered something and the meeting was over. It occured to me as I was walking down the stairs that what we’d heard could have been an expression of 1960s freedom and openness but was it more likely that it was as if a gauntlet had been thrown down? “You need to understand that this is where she and I are now. I don’t want to hold your hand anymore.”
Paul putting beetles fucking on his album artwork
John hiring a pig and posing with it solely to mock Ram even though he was scared of it
At the end of the day a farmer delivered a huge hog to the mansion [Tittenhurst Park]. It was John’s notion to parody the album jacket photograph of Paul McCartney’s Ram, which showed Paul wrestling with a ram; John would wrestle with a pig. We all went outside and stared at the large surly animal. It was much bigger than any of us had expected. John circled the animal warily. He liked the idea, but he didn’t like the hog. Dan stood poised to snap the picture. “Climb on its back, John, and grab its ears,” he said. John looked doubtful. He stepped closer to the animal. It let out a shrill, strange, sound. John stepped back, but we all urged him on. “You can do it, John,” I said. John approached the animal once again. “I can’t hold the friggin’ pig for too long. You get one shot and one shot alone,” he told Dan.
Loving John: The Untold Story, May Pang
John & Yoko attempting to get revenge married in Paris 2 days after Paul & Linda
“On March 12, Paul married Linda Eastman at Marylebone Register Office in London, amid scenes of hysterical grief from his female fans. None of the other Beatles was present. The news reached John as he and Yoko were driving down to visit Aunt Mimi in Poole. Yoko’s divorce decree had become final a few weeks earlier, and, in a resurgence of Beatle copycat, John told her they, too, must get married as soon as possible”
Philip Norman, John Lennon: The life
We chose Gibraltar because it is quiet, British and friendly. We tried everywhere else first. I set out to get married on the car ferry and we would have arrived in France married, but they wouldn’t do it. We were no more successful with cruise ships. We tried embassies, but three weeks’ residence in Germany or two weeks’ in France were required.
John Lennon
SALEWICZ: Well, I always found it interesting the fact that he got – I mean, it seemed too much like coincidence to me, the fact that he got married a week or month after you. You know what I mean? PAUL: Yeah. I think we spurred each other into marriage. I mean, you know. They were very strong together, which left me out of the picture. So I got together with Linda and then we got strong with our own kind of thing. And I used to listen to a lot of what they said. I remember him saying to me, “You’ve got to work at marriage,” which is something I still remember as a bit of advice. I still remember that. Um… And then yeah, I think they were a little bit peeved that we got married first. Probably. In a little way, you know, just minor jealousies. And so they got married. I don’t know if that’s – I mean, who knows… [inaudible] making it up, anyway.
September, 1986 (MPL Communications, London): journalist Chris Salewicz
Their belief in telepathy & shared dreams
NEIL: I’d just rather not say anything. It’s one of those situations. PAUL: Yeah. [pause] Well, that’s – that’s the trouble you see, there, ‘cause that’s it. It’s like, with our – heightened awareness, the answer is not to say anything, you know. But it isn’t. ‘Cause I mean, we screw each other up totally if we don’t do that. ‘Cause we’re not ready for your heightened… vows of silence. [laughs; hapless] We’re really not! Like, we don’t know what the fuck each other’s talking about, when that – we all just sort of get— NEIL: I think it’s just between the four of you, that get it. That’s what I’d pretend. PAUL: Oh yeah, right, yeah. But you see, that’s it, that’s why John doesn’t say anything. ‘Cause he, you know, he just… There was something the other day, when I said, “Well, what do you think?” And he just stood there and didn’t say anything. And then – and I know exactly why, you know. I mean, I wouldn’t, if… [long pause] Somehow. You know, there’s nothing really much to be said about it. You just – we all just have to do it, and all that, instead of like talking about it. But – but if one of us is talking about it, it’s a drag if the other three aren’t. Because then it sort of throws you off. [inaudible; voice marking tape slate] I mean, we’ve just been talking about it now for a few years, you know. Like this…
From the Get Back sessions (13 January 1969).
HINDLE: What do you think about language? JOHN: I think it’s a bit crummy, you know? It is a drag form of communication, really. We’ll get – we’ll get telepathy. I believe that. HINDLE: You believe that? JOHN: Yeah, sure. Sure. Sure as anything I believe. It’s too… Because now we need it so much. [...] There are – there’s people everywhere of the same mind and it’s just… even amongst ourselves we can’t communicate. Which is the hard bit, you know. HINDLE: Yeah. JOHN: Amongst the people that sort of really agree. HINDLE: Just ’cause of words? JOHN: Just ’cause of words, and upbringing, and attitude, and how you express your… Well, it’s just some – you’ve got to find a mutual sort of language to express yourself, you know? And my language is that— HINDLE: Unless you fall in love it’s impossible to communicate like that. JOHN: I mean, I wasn’t in love last year, but I was communicating quite well with people. Not as well, or maybe not as powerfully. ’Cause now there’s two of us, doing that, brrmmm, whatever it is. Sending out a vibration or whatever. But before it was me and… or me and George, alright, or whatever it was; we weren’t in love, but. You know. There’s enough in you to shove it out. It is just that bit. If you – if somebody comes in a room and he’s uptight and that, he can make the whole room uptight.
John Lennon, interviewed by Maurice Hindle (December 1968).
PAUL: I remember when John and I were first hanging out together, I had a dream about digging in the garden with my hands. I’d dreamt that before but I’d never found anything other than an old tin can. But in this dream I found a gold coin. I kept digging and I found another. And another. The next day I told John about this amazing dream I’d had and he said, ‘That’s funny, I had the same dream’. So both of us had this dream of finding this treasure. And I suppose you could say it came true. I remember years later talking about it – ‘Remember that dream we had?’; ‘Yeah, that was far out’. So the message of that dream was: keep digging lads.
PAUL MCCARTNEY TO THE BIG ISSUE. FEBRUARY 2012.
John climbing the wall to Paul's house because Paul skipped a session for his & Linda's anniversary
(Not confirmed but supposedly)
Paul being utterly convinced that John can't be gay because he didn't try it on when they slept in the same bed
I mean, if John was–the trouble is, see, is he’s not here to fend for himself, and we can’t ask him, “‘Scuse me, John, are you–have you ever been gay?” I mean, he’s the kind— I remember people used to ask that. There were lots of people asking cheeky questions, and they were always saying, “Well, why–have you ever tried homosexuality, John?” You know, they always used to ask all that kind of stuff. I remember John saying to them, “No, I’ve never met a fella I fancy enough.” And that was his kind of opinion. You know, “I may go–I may be gay one day, if some fella really turns me on.” He was–he was that open about it. But as far as I was concerned, I slept in a million hotel rooms–as we all did–slept in a million places with John, and there was never any hint of it.
December 24th, 1983: interview with DJ Roger Scott
“And I say, if he’s homosexual, I thought he’d have made a pass at me in 20 years, darling.”
Paul McCartney talking about John Lennon.
“Brian Epstein, the Beatles’ manager, was a known homosexual. Epstein was always polite and charming. It has been insinuated that John was drawn to Epstein. I believe there was no such relationship between them. John was macho. But if John was a homosexual, it would have made no difference to me. I’ve asked Paul McCartney, who laughed and said: ‘Why not me? I’m handsome.’ Then he said: ‘I was holed up with John in hotel rooms everywhere. There was never a suggestion of anything like that.’ I believe him.”
Julia Baird, in Boston Globe: Lennon’s half-sister remembers… (2 October 1988).
“All I can ever say about it is that I slept with John a lot because you had to, you didn’t have more than one bed - and to my knowledge John was never gay.”
Paul McCartney, The Brian Epstein Story
And maybe he's right to be offended?
Did Lennon have sex with other men? “I think he had a desire to, but I think he was too inhibited,” says Ono. “No, not inhibited. He said, ‘I don’t mind if there’s an incredibly attractive guy.’ It’s very difficult: They would have to be not just physically attractive, but mentally very advanced too. And you can’t find people like that.” So did Lennon ever have sex with men? “No, I don’t think so,” says Ono. “The beginning of the year he was killed, he said to me, ‘I could have done it, but I can’t because I just never found somebody that was that attractive.’ Both John and I were into attractiveness—you know—beauty.”
Yoko Ono: I Still Fear John’s Killer by Tim Teeman for the Daily Beast (13 October 2015).
There was even some discussion, albeit not very serious, of whether he should stick to his own gender. “John said ‘It would hurt you like crazy if I made it with a girl. With a guy, maybe you wouldn’t be hurt, because that’s not competition. But I can’t make it with a guy because I love women too much, and I’d have to fall in love with the guy and I don’t think I can.’”
Yoko on her and John discussing the terms of an open marriage in 1973 (John Lennon: The Life)
On that note, Paul's obsession with sleeping in the same bed as John
Paul McCartney answers questions for Q magazine, 1998
John and I used to hitch-hike places together, it was something that we did together quite a lot; cementing our friendship, getting to know our feelings, our dreams, our ambitions together. It was a very wonderful period. I look back on it with great fondness. I particularly remember John and I would be squeezed in our little single bed, and Mike Robbins, who was a real nice guy, would come in late at night to say good night to us, switching off the lights as we were all going to bed.
Many Years From Now
John and I always liked wordplay. So, the phrase ‘She’s got a ticket to ride’ of course referred to riding on a bus or train, but – if you really want to know – it also referred to Ryde on the Isle of Wight, where my cousin Betty and her husband Mike were running a pub. That’s what they did; they ran pubs. He ended up as an entertainment manager at a Butlin’s holiday resort. Betty and Mike were very showbiz. It was great fun to visit them, so John and I hitchhiked down to Ryde, and when we wrote the song we were referring to the memory of this trip. It’s very cute now to think of me and John in a little single bed, top and tail, and Betty and Mike coming to tuck us in.
Paul McCartney, on ‘Ticket To Ride’. In The Lyrics (2021).
“John and I grew up like twins although he was a year and a half older than me. We grew up literally in the same bed because when we were on holiday, hitchhiking or whatever, we would share a bed. Or when we were writing songs as kids he’d be in my bedroom or I’d be in his. Or he’d be in my front parlour or I’d be in his, although his Aunt Mimi sometimes kicked us out into the vestibule!”
New Statesman, “Paul McCartney - Meet The Beatle,” September 26, 1997
“I wrote all those songs with him so…. what can I say to people?? We were kids! I mean… we slept together, topped and tailed in beds and hitch-hiking and stuff, so,…. I mean, we were just totally you know,….. mates.”
Paul McCartney
John taking matters into his own hand to start rumours about him and Paul
The consensus among John, Paul and Yoko that if J&P could have been together, they would have
“. . . I mean, I think really what it was, really all that happened was that John fell in love. With Yoko. And so, with such a powerful alliance like that, it was difficult for him to still be seeing me. It was as if I was another girlfriend, almost. Our relationship was a strong relationship. And if he was to start a new relationship, he had to put this other one away. And I understood that. I mean, I couldn’t stand in the way of someone who’d fallen in love. You can’t say, “Who’s this?” You can’t really do that. If I was a girl, maybe I could go out and… But you know I mean in this case I just sort of said, right – I mean, I didn’t say anything, but I could see that was the way it was going to go, and that Yoko would be very sort of powerful for him. So um, we all had to get out the way.”
Paul McCartney, interview with German tv program Exclusiv, April 1985.
JOHN: It’s a plus, it’s not a minus. The plus is that your best friend, also, can hold you without… I mean, I’m not a homosexual, or we could have had a homosexual relationship and maybe that would have satisfied it, with working with other male artists. [faltering] An artist – it’s more – it’s much better to be working with another artist of the same energy, and that’s why there’s always been Beatles or Marx Brothers or men, together. Because it’s alright for them to work together or whatever it is. It’s the same except that we sleep together, you know? I mean, not counting love and all the things on the side, just as a working relationship with her, it has all the benefits of working with another male artist and all the joint inspiration, and then we can hold hands too, right?
John Lennon, interview w/ Sandra Shevey. (Mid-June?, 1972)
Y: After the initial embarrassment, that how Paul is being very nice to me, he’s nice and a very, str- on the level, straight, sense, like wherever there’s something like happening at the Apple, he explains to me, as if I should know. And also whenever there’s something like they need a light man, or something like that he asks me if I know of anybody, things like that. And like I can see that he’s just now suddenly changing his attitude, like his being, he’s treating me with respect, not because it’s me, but because I belong to John. I hope that’s what it is because that would be nice. And I feel like he’s my younger brother or something like that. I’m sure that if he had been a woman or something, he would have been a great threat, because there’s something definitely very strong with me, John, and Paul.
Yoko Ono, Revolution Tape, June 4th 1968
"We thought we'd do a number of an old estranged fiancé of mine called Paul.""
youtube
As a second choice from the Lennon- McCartney songbook, Elton suggested 'I Saw Her Standing There'. This appealed to John for its antiquity, and because its lead vocal always was sung by Paul. (...) There was a whisper of Royal Variety Show mischief when he announced "a number by an old estranged fiancé of mine called Paul" - no one yet knowing the estranged fiancés were long reconciled.
John Lennon: The Life, Philip Norman
You know, John loved Paul. No doubt about it. I remember once he said to me, “I’m the only person who’s allowed to say things like that about Paul. I don’t like it when other people do.” He didn’t like if other people said nasty things about Paul. And he always referred to Paul as his estranged fiancé and things like that, like he did on that [live] record ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ with Elton in Madison Square Garden.

John publicly predicting Paul & Linda's divorce
You were right about New York! I do love it; it's the ONLY PLACE TO BE. (Apart from anything else, they leave you alone too!) I see you prefer Scotland! (MM) -- I'll bet you your piece of Apple you'll be living in New York by 1974 (two years is the usual time it takes you right?)
John's letter to Paul in Melody Maker, 1971 Finally, about not telling anyone that I left the Beatles—PAUL and Klein both spent the day persuading me it was better not to say anything—asking me not to say anything because it would 'hurt the Beatles'—and 'let's just let it petre out'—remember? So get that into your petty little perversion of a mind, Mrs. McCartney—the cunts asked me to keep quiet about it. Of course, the money angle is important—to all of us—especially after all the petty shit that came from your insane family/in laws—and GOD HELP YOU OUT, PAUL—see you in two years—I reckon you'll be out then—inspite of it all, love to you both, from us two.
John's personal letter to Linda & Paul, 1971
JOHN: Oh, [Klein]’d love it if Paul would come back. I think he was hoping he would for years and years. He thought that if he did something, to show Paul that he could do it, Paul would come around. But no chance. I mean, I want him to come out of it, too, you know. He will one day. I give him five years, I’ve said that. In five years he’ll wake up. YOKO: And people don’t understand, you know. There’s so many groups that constantly announce they’re going to split, they’re going to split, and they can announce it every year, and it doesn’t mean they’re going to split. But people don’t understand what an extraordinary position the Beatles are in, you know. In every way. They’re in such an extraordinary position that they’re more insecure than other people. And so Klein thinks he’ll give Paul two years Linda-wise, you know. And John said, “No, Paul treasures things like children, things like that. It will be longer.” And of course, John was right.

41 with Alexia
41 //looking at their lips as they talk//
The sun shon bright in the Barcelona sky as you stood pitch side ready to report on the infamous El Classico. It was a match that you loved to play in but you picked up a serious ankle injury a couple of months ago and you weren’t quite fit to play or even to train yet.
5-0 was the end result yet throughout the halftime and post match media you tried your best to remain fair even though everybody knew you bled Blaugrana.
Like always the team did a lap of the pitch. You knew they were getting close as the fans behind the camera erupted, all of them wanting a shirt signed or a photo with their favourite player. So whilst you did expect to see one or maybe two of your team mates what you didn’t expect was to feel a hand of the small of your back and the sight of Alexia standing next to you. Here she was, the woman who hated doing media with every fibre of her being, voluntarily giving an interview.
“Ladies and Gentleman, La Reina herself”
The use of the nickname she loved to hate earned you a playful shove.
One of the official presenters made the most of having both you and Alexia in an interview given that you hadn’t done for in months. Much to you surprise Alexia was in a chatty mood and you spent most of the interview taking in her beauty. It wasn’t a huge secret that you and her were dating but you never got round to doing a hard launch so to say.
You notice some of Alexia’s hair fall in front of her face so as if by instinct you place it gently behind her ear. This earns you a look off Alexia as if saying are you going to do what happens next when you do this at home. It’s safe to say the thought did cross your mind but you knew now wasn’t the time or place. It didn’t stop you from glancing down at her lips as she spoke about how proud she is of the team. Her passion is one of the things you loved most about her and you know the look in your eyes will show this but you didn’t mind.
Alexia’s hand squeezes your hip, an act which she knows will earn a reaction given you’re ticklish.
“Que?”
“La pregunta?”
You turn your attention to the presenter and it’s clear she asked you question.
“Lo siento” your cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
“Don’t apologise. Alexia gave us everything we need about the game and I’m sure you gave us enough material to make the fans happy”
You both thank the presenter and Alexia waits whilst you give back your mic pack. The two of you are some of the last players on the pitch and walk into the tunnel together. Even though you weren’t playing you did plan on joining in on the locker room celebration but just before you reach the door Alexia grabs your wrist and pulls you back to her.
“What?”
“I thought maybe you wanted to look at my lips some more seen as though you refused to look at anything else out there”
“Why you got to call me out like that?”
“I’m not. I’m simply giving you a chance to do something other than stare”
Alexia’s lips was on yours before you had to chance to reply. She has you pinned against the wall with no care in the world who could see you. Alexia rested one hand against the wall beside your head and her other grabbed your hip. Yours travelled up her back beneath her loosely fitted leather jacket.
For a brief moment you forget where you were and when you felt Alexia’s tongue brush against you lips you allowed her entry.
“Well well well, look what we have here. Our dear captains the celebration are in the locker room but I can see that you are having a very good time out here in the hallway” Mapi says rather smugly.
“Leave them alone Maria” Ingrid pushes her towards the locker room “Not that I want to interrupt but the rest of the team is on there way so you might want to go somewhere else if you want to continue”
All three of you begin laughing at the situation and whilst you wanted nothing more than to pick you where you were before getting interrupted, you knew that it was best to be done at home away from prying eyes and teasing team mates.

“(Y/N)? Is that you?” a pleasant voice interrupted your path out of the church. It wasn't just any voice, you knew it.
“Mm?” you murmured, searching for the origin of those words that said your name and smiling when you found it. “Oh, Lydia,” you sighed, approaching the young smiling woman.
Excited by an unexpected encounter, you hugged her, who was none other than your best friend, a childhood friend that you had missed quite a bit.
“(Y/N), how long has it been?” she said, returning the hug enthusiastically, like when you were just a couple of excited teenagers.
You shrugged, looking down, where a baby was sleeping peacefully.
“Oh, I see that a long time…” you sighed, bending down to look at the child. “Is it your son? I can't believe it.”
“Yes,” she answered, bending down as well. “Ivan.”
“Wow... I've missed a lot of things this year,” you murmured, cooing at the baby, who didn't seem to notice your presence. “Hello, hello, little one.”
“I'm glad to see you, (Y/N), I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it again,” your friend commented, with a more serious tone, looking away.
“Well, I've been quite busy,” you said, getting up and looking for your companion with your eyes, something complicated due to the number of faithful villagers talking to each other.
“Yes, that's what I heard,” Lydia murmured, her voice low and broken.
The young woman came a little closer to you, looking around.
“People in this village talk a lot,” she whispered almost in your ear, as if she was afraid of something.
“It's their favorite sport,” you said amused, making more funny gestures at the sleeping baby. “I'm not surprised.”
“Yes, well... I have to admit that with the pregnancy and the child I haven't had much time to attend to my duties with the Black Gods, but I’ve heard rumors,” she said, smiling at her baby and looking around again.
“What have you heard?” you asked, giving your friend a nudge.
“Well, when you mysteriously disappeared I assumed that you had managed to escape from this place,” she began, in a calmer tone. “I know you never liked living here. I asked Luiza and the others if they knew anything and they told me that… Well, that you hadn't left.”
“That's obvious,” you said arching an eyebrow, amused by Lydia's curious attitude, one that you understood.
“Okay, I have to ask you,” she finally said, standing in front of you, subtly moving away from curious eyes and ears. “Is it true? Do you…? Do you have something with Donna Beneviento? Luiza told me that you were now living with her and that you weren't exactly a maid.”
“I see that in a place like this it's impossible to hide something,” you whispered laughing, blushing. “Yes, it's true. I've been living with her for a year. We have… A relationship,” you explained in a low voice.
“Really? But, but, (Y/N), she's… She's… A-A Lord,” Lydia asked, not surprised, but curious, very curious “When did that happen?”
“A year ago, more or less,” you said, looking up to try to be accurate with your memories. “I met her by chance.”
“Met her? (Y/N), she's…” she said, looking around again. “W-Well, no one knows exactly what she's like, but she's dangerous.”
“Nonsense, Donna's lovely,” you corrected, crossing your arms. “She's not as terrible as people say.”
“I find that hard to believe… They say, they say she's crazy and that if you go to her territory, you'll probably never come back,” your friend said, moving her baby's stroller.
“It's true that she's sick, and she's definitely a very strange woman, but I... I love her. She's good, she takes care of me in her own way and the truth is, I've never been better.”
“I understand,” she said, nodding distrustfully. “(Y/N), they say she killed her gardener, the man who took care of her when her family died.”
“Um... Well...” you said scratching the back of your neck, knowing that you couldn't deny the evidence, no matter how painful it was. “Yes, well, um...”
“What were you thinking to get involved with her?” she asked, making you sigh uncomfortably. “She's terrifying.”
“We could talk about what you were thinking the day you conceived this precious thing,” you said amused, speaking tenderly to the baby. “Lydia, I know what I'm doing. Donna loves me, I love her… Well, I guess the rest doesn't matter.”
“I-I hope you're right, I don't want to lose my friend,” Lydia murmured, looking away.
“You're exaggerating,” you said with a wry smile. “We should meet and talk about all of this more calmly, like we did before.”
“Yes, of course, I think it's a great idea and... Oh, Gods, Lady Beneviento,” she said, suddenly lowering her head.
You frowned and looked up. The lady in black was there, holding her doll, standing still, not moving, but making you feel her intense gaze, hidden by that horrible black veil.
“Oh, Donna, meet my childhood friend, Lydia,” you said in a casual tone, approaching your girlfriend and grabbing her arm romantically.
Donna didn't move, just made a vague gesture with her head, leaning towards your ear.
“Let's go home,” Donna whispered in a hoarse voice.
“Yes, yes, um... Wait for me outside, honey, I'll be right there,” you said with a smile, moving away from Donna, who stood still for a few seconds before walking towards the exit, turning her head towards you from time to time.
“Honey... Gods, (Y/N), she's terrifying,” your friend said when she was free from the doll maker's presence, causing you to laugh slightly as you shook your head.
“Nonsense,” you said, sure of yourself. “Well, I was delighted to see you. I hope we can see each other soon.”
“I hope so too,” the young woman said, looking towards the door through which the lady in mourning came out. “I-I have a lot of things to tell you.”
“Oh, me too,” you said amused.
“I see,” Lydia murmured, scratching the back of her neck.
“Wait a minute,” you said, searching for a piece of paper in your bag and writing something on it. “Here, that's the number of the mansion, call me when you have a chance and we'll catch up,” you said, handing her the piece of paper.
“Hey, you stupid idiot!” a shrill voice that you knew well caught your attention. “Are you coming or what?!”
“Yeah, I'm coming…” you growled at the impatient cries of the Angie doll, looking back at your friend. “Call me, okay? I really want to remember old times.”
“I will, (Y/N).”
You couldn't blame your friend for feeling terror, for feeling all that the rumors said you would feel if you approached the lady in black.
Like everything that happened in your life, chance gave you the opportunity to face that world of nightmares that surrounded Donna’s dark figure, although the result wasn’t exactly what you expected.
Behind that cloud of rumors and gossip hid a tormented soul, a woman with an inferiority complex, solitary, reclusive and surly. The misfortunes of her family had worsened her mental disorders to the point that she caught the attention of Miranda, who adopted her as her fourth daughter.
A terrible past, a deformity on her face, the inability to relate to others… Donna Beneviento was certainly not the ideal woman to fall in love with, but you never looked for the ideal woman.
Kind, loving, romantic… These were aspects that the rumors never talked about, traits of the woman in black that you discovered for yourself and made you fall even more into her protective arms.
With no prospects for a better future, hopelessly in love and curious about the new life that was presented to you, you decided to put aside your attempts to escape the village and start the most important love story of your life.
Jealousy always flew around Donna's head, her erratic and confusing attitude was something you had to learn to deal with, but you always managed, you always overcame any problem.
After a year living with her, with that sinister doll maker, you realized that this was actually your fate, that Donna was precisely the place where you should and wanted to be.
The walk back to the mansion was romantic and silent. As you feared, the lady wasn’t the least bit interested in your words, in your explanation about the young woman who was talking to you.
It didn't surprise you. Anything that had nothing to do with you was of no interest to the lady in black.
The days passed quietly, wrapped in a terribly romantic atmosphere, wrapped in her caresses, her kisses, her whispers…
“Hey, Donna,” you said amused, letting her hand pull your body, sitting you on her lap. “I have to... Read.”
“Read? Well, read with me, tesoro,” she said, her voice velvety soft, kissing you quickly, in one of her romantic outbursts, one of those you secretly adored. “Are you uncomfortable?”
“Mm, let's see…” you sighed amused, placing yourself on her lap, wrapping your hands around her neck. “It's not the best position to read,” you joked seductively.
“Then we're not going to read,” Donna said, whispering on your lips, caressing your back while keeping you close to her, very close, just the way she liked it. “I really want to tell you how much I love you… “
“Oh, really? Because I want to hear it,” you whispered, biting your lip before her kisses moistened the atmosphere.
It seemed like a normal day, an explosion of romance and passion as erratic as Beneviento, one that you no longer knew how to live without. Unfortunately, reality interrupted that festival of kisses and dancing hips with a shrill sound.
“Phone!” Angie shrieked, tugging at her owner's black dress. “Donna, Donna, phone!”
“Ugh, Angie, lasciami,” the lady sighed, concentrating on her kisses, on her hands slipping through the gaps in your dress.
Of course, the doll didn't give up, pulling harder. The sound of the old phone started to be terribly annoying and the lady sighed, fixing your hair with a loving but somewhat disappointed look.
“Pick it up, will you?” Donna said, pushing you away and looking over your shoulder.
“I'm not your servant!” the puppet shrieked, making the noise in the normally quiet mansion even louder. “Damn it.”
With no other choice, the puppet obeyed, comically climbing onto the small table where the phone rang tirelessly.
“This is House Beneviento… Stupid Donna is busy making out with the fool, so drag your ass to the phone later, thanks,” the doll mocked, speaking through the phone, something that irritated the lady.
“Angie…” she hissed in a very low voice, picking you up and sitting you on the couch among romantic laughs. “Wait a moment, tesoro…” she said to you as an apology.
“I can wait,” you said in a seductive way, arching your eyebrows as Donna approached the small table, making abrupt gestures towards Angie and snatching the phone from her.
“Pronto,” the lady said in a cold tone, almost in a whisper.
Her face darkened little by little. You leaned in curiously. You hadn't heard any praise or Miranda's name, so it was impossible for you to know who was on the other side. Suddenly Donna's head turned to you with a frown, her expression cold and annoyed.
“What's wrong? Who is it?” you asked, surprised, getting up from the couch when you didn't get an answer.
“It's for you,” Donna whispered, with that same cold expression, frowning, extending the phone towards you and immediately moving away, giving you a soft bump with her shoulder.
“For me?” you asked curiously, putting the speaker to your ear. “Um, hello?”
“(Y/N)? It's you...” the voice on the other end said. It seemed a little scared, but it didn't take you long to recognize it.
“Lydia? Oh, hey, how are you?” you said relieved to hear your friend's voice, relief overshadowed by the curious and penetrating expression of the lady in black. “You finally called, I thought you wouldn't.”
“I had to think about it,” she said with a scared laugh. “It's not easy to know that I'm calling to a Lord’s house.”
“You're calling your friend's house, don't be dramatic,” you joked, making a playful gesture towards the lady in black, who completely ignored your funny intentions.
“Yeah, well, um…” Lydia murmured, sighing. “I was thinking that we could meet this afternoon, you know, to chat a bit. It's Igor's day off and he can take care of Ivan.”
“It's a great idea, we have a lot of things to talk about,” you said smiling, frowning at the brunette's stoic and unmovable attitude. “Where? Should I go to your house or would you prefer to have a drink at…?”
“Wait a moment,” Donna interrupted, snatching the phone from your hand and lowering it towards Angie, who took it.
“The line has been interrupted momentarily, silly, wait a bit until it is fixed. In the meantime, I'll delight you with some music…”
A shrill humming forced you to cover your ears as Donna lightly pulled your arm, moving you away from the horrible noises of the doll.
“What's wrong?” you asked confused, at the nervous reaction of the lady, who seemed to shake her head.
“Are you going to meet that girl? Why?” she asked, more like an accusation than an innocent question.
“Um, yes, she's my friend, it's been a while since we've seen each other and…” you said, blinking, trying to interpret the cold emotions of the lady in black. “Oh, calm down, Donna, I won't be long.”
“No, I…” she said, shaking her head, putting her hands on your shoulders. “(Y/N), you know I don't like you… You going...”
“Nothing will happen to me, I know the area perfectly, besides, we will probably go to Luiza's house and…” you said in a normal voice, but suspecting that the doll maker wasn’t happy with your plans.
“Wait a minute, why did you give her my home number?” Donna interrupted, with a more abrupt tone.
“Because it's my home too, isn't it?” you answered intelligently, laughing amused, making the lady shut up with a grunt. “Don't be like that, my love, I'm sure that when I get back we can…” you whispered in an increasingly lower tone, getting closer to her ear. “Keep reading.”
“No, no, wait,” she said, grabbing your wrist when you were about to get closer to the phone again. “Why don't you meet here?”
“Here?” you asked confused, shaking your head and frowning.
The lady nodded unsurely, playing with her hands.
“Y-Yes, well… It's cold outside and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you,” she murmured in a voice that betrayed a big lie.
“It's cold... Donna...” you sighed, hands on your hips. “Isn't it because you want to keep an eye on us?”
“Oh, no... No, I...” she stammered, blinking childishly. “I...”
“Well, fine... I'll tell her,” you sighed, not believing that a visit was such a bad idea, ignoring the brunette's obvious jealousy.
After all, it was much better for her to realize that she had nothing to worry about.
You managed to convince your friend to come to the mansion. Again, you couldn't blame her for being afraid of that place, but you also saw it as a unique opportunity for both of you.
Donna would see that there was no danger in that friendship, and maybe Lydia would understand why you were so in love with the young Lord.
“Hello...” Angie said, mockingly dragging her words when the lady opened the door, revealing a frightened Lydia with her head down. “Are you the fool’s fool friend?”
“Y-Yes, I think so,” the girl said, being rescued by your presence.
“Lydia, I see you have arrived safely,” you joked, giving her a hug, a gesture that the veiled lady observed cautiously, stepping aside.
“Yes, I... Um, you have a very nice house, Lady Beneviento,” your friend said, looking towards the mysterious lady, who sighed annoyed, ignoring that comment.
“Forgive her, she doesn't like to talk,” you said amused, putting a hand on the young woman's back. “Shall we sit? Donna has made tea, right, darling?”
The lady growled discreetly, walking in front of you with a serious air, accompanied by her doll, who watched you amused.
Lydia nodded elegantly, sitting down without losing sight of Donna, who was patiently standing, intimidating the poor girl with her gaze.
“T-Thanks, (Y/N),” she whispered, settling down on the couch.
“Donna,” you said, looking strangely at the lady, who remained motionless. “Um, didn't you have to work on your dolls?”
“Do you think we're going to leave you alone with her, silly girl?” Angie mocked, making your friend step back.
“What do you mean?” you asked nervously, looking for some support in Donna's hidden gaze, one that you were unable to find. “Um, well, I-I suppose you can stay with us, if you want.”
“Yes, we do,” Angie said as the lady sat in front of you, without making a sound, like a ghost.
“Okay... Um... Well...” you murmured embarrassed by that uncomfortable presence.
If it was uncomfortable for you, you didn't want to even imagine what it was like for your friend, who looked at the floor, hoping not to coincide with the hidden, bright eye of Lady Beneviento. There were a few brief moments in which the creaking of the wood was your only companion, the only sound that could be heard in the mansion.
“So... Tell me,” you said, clearing your throat to interrupt the horrible dance of tense glances. “Wow, I never thought you would have a son.”
“Y-Yes, well... I...” your friend stammered, looking discreetly at the lady, who maintained a regal pose in the chair in front of you, with her hands on her knees, like a statue, motionless. “I…”
“Oh, don’t worry about her, just act like she’s not here,” you said, glaring at the lady, who, with her mere presence, was scaring your old friend. “Unless you have something to say… Donna?”
The woman in black shook her head softly as the doll Angie climbed onto the couch, staring at your friend.
“You have a son? Oh, how interesting,” the puppet said, causing your friend to nod slowly.
“Relax, Lydia, I assure you that they know how to keep a secret, don’t they?” you said through clenched teeth, looking at the doll.
“Yes, yes, tell us, tell us,” Angie insisted, jumping comically. “We don’t bite… Usually.”
“Th, the truth is that it wasn't in my plans either,” Lydia finally said, making a great effort to forget about your uncomfortable company. “Igor and I had been dating for years and... Well, we got married and...”
“Have you gotten married?” you asked, putting your legs up on the sofa and resting your head on your hand.
“Actually I married him when I found out I was pregnant, you know... Family stuff...” your friend explained, masterfully ignoring the doll's intense gaze.
“Who is that guy? Do I know him?” Angie asked, with a confident tone that gave you chills.
“T-The baker's son,” she explained.
“I can't believe it,” you said, trying to ease the tension. “After all, I was right.”
“Yes, it seems that way,” she said, amused. “I should have listened to you when you told me he was a good boy.”
“Of course,” you said triumphantly. “When are you going to learn that I'm always right? I'm never wrong.”
“Well, I think that sneaking into the Duke's warehouse to steal alcohol was a wrong decision,” your friend said, amused, forgetting for a moment the awkwardness due to nostalgia.
You blushed, scratching your head.
“Yes, but it was worth it,” you sighed amused.
Little by little the tension dissipated.
Donna seemed not to be there, so your friend gained enough confidence to ignore her intimidating presence. Laughter, memories of youth, anecdotes... Against all odds, it was a funny afternoon.
There really was no reason that would have prevented you from maintaining the relationship with your best friend, but your circumstances, and hers, abruptly separated you. Her son, your new relationship with Donna… It wasn’t the distance or the lack of interest in keeping your only friend, actually, your discovery of the lady in black, the steps your relationship was taking kept you away from the rest of your life, something you had no complaints about, of course.
Getting out of the nice and romantic routine you had with Donna was a breath of fresh air, a reminder that you hadn’t lost your life.
“Yes, I remember,” you said laughing after the second tea, remembering your little teenage misdeeds. “Luiza almost caught us.”
“She caught us, (Y/N), it wasn't the best place to hide from Dimitri,” said Lydia, laughing relaxed too.
“Who's Dimitri?” Angie asked, also interested in your anecdotes, being a pleasant addition to the conversation.
“Oh, a boy from the village, the poor guy thought he had a chance with me,” you said amused, noticing a movement in Donna's hands, which seemed to scratch her dress.
“He really thought so, (Y/N),” your friend said, with an amused smile. “I didn't even know that you were making out with Sofia that night and…”
You, being aware that this was a fact that Donna didn't know, quickly shook your head, trying to make Lydia understand that it was much better to keep that information.
The lady suddenly stood up, startling you. Yes, it had been a bad idea to make that comment.
Luckily, the old clock in the hall calmed that abruptness. That and the doll Angie, who gestured for Donna to sit back down, muttering something you didn't understand.
“Oh, it's late,” you said, sighing wistfully, forgetting that awkward moment. “Are you staying for dinner?”
“Oh, no, I don't want to bother you, besides, I have to, I have to take care of Ivan, but, thank you,” Lydia said kindly, standing up with an elegant curtsy. “Thank you for your time, Lady Beneviento.”
The doll maker looked at her but didn't say anything. She simply stood up slowly, putting her hands in front of her body.
“Wait, I'll come with you,” you said smiling, walking to the door next to your friend, who looked back nervously, making a shy gesture towards the doll, who waved her hand in farewell.
“Bye, bye,” Angie hummed playfully, being quickly grabbed by Donna, who lifted her into her arms.
“Ugh, well, nothing happened,” your friend commented, outside the mansion.
“Of course,” you said, leaning on the door frame.
“But, it was a bit… Disturbing, you know, that… she… was there,” she murmured discreetly. “I'm sorry, (Y/N), that woman scares me a lot.”
“Well, it's understandable,” you said amused, rolling your eyes. “Relax, Lydia, Donna's harmless.”
“I'd like to believe you,” she said in an even lower voice, looking around. “If you don't mind… Next time we'll meet at my house… It's nothing personal, it's just…”
“Yes, I know, Donna scares you,” you said mockingly, to which your friend nodded slowly. “Don't worry, we're in touch, right?”
“Of course, (Y/N), I really enjoyed talking to you… I'll, I'll call you,” Lydia said, turning slowly, taking a last look at the interior of the mansion. “Or, or better you call me, will you?”
“Fine, whatever,” you said kindly, with a calm voice. “Say hello to Igor, oh, and to little Ivan…”
“Of course, (Y/N)… Or, and… Take care, please.”
You frowned, crossing your arms.
“Y-Y-Yeah, sure…” you sighed, watching your friend walking away, and entered the house again, closing the door with a sigh of relief. It hadn't gone so bad, after all. “Anyway… Donna?”
The lady waited for you stoic as always, freeing herself from her black veil, with an expression that was anything but friendly.
Ignoring the danger, you approached her, giving her a small kiss on the lips and grabbing her waist.
“Where were we going, honey? I think you wanted to… Read with me, didn’t you?” you whispered sensually, kissing her again.
Donna pulled away from your kisses, shaking her head.
“I don’t feel like it,” she hissed in a dark whisper, moving your hands away from her body. “Leave me alone.”
“Oh, um, are you okay? I know you don’t like visitors but… It was your idea, so…” you said a nervously. “Do you need something? Do you want me to bring your medicine?”
“I’m going to the workshop to work on my dolls,” she said passively, shaking her head and turning her back on you.
“Okay, um… Donna, honey, are you sure you’re okay?” you asked nervously, playing with your trembling hands.
There was no answer, just an impatient walk of her heels on the wood, disappearing down the elevator hallway.
You looked at Angie, who remained the same as you, confused and shrugging.
“Hey, what got into her?” you asked discreetly, rubbing your forehead. “Did I do something wrong?”
“How would I know?” Angie said, walking away from you, leaving you confused. “Come on, silly, let's play.”
Ignoring the lady's strange attitude, you continued your routine of games with Angie, patiently waiting for dinner time. The moment to sit at the table and exchange romantic glances wasn’t long in coming, but it wasn’t love that was reflected in her bright eye, it was something else.
Donna hadn’t said a word since your friend left, and you knew her well enough to know that there was something that had upset or angered her. Of course, the comments about your past surely had something to do with it.
“Mm, delicious” you murmured with a tender smile, hoping that your affection would calm her worries, as irrational as they were.
The lady looked up briefly, drinking some wine and ignoring your compliments, making you sigh and play with your food, looking in that cold gaze for an explanation of her attitude.
“I don't like her,” the lady murmured, about to finish her dinner, without even looking at you.
“Mm? What are you talking about, sweetheart?” you asked distractedly, relieved to hear her melodic voice after what seemed like an eternity.
“That stupid girl, I don't like her,” Donna whispered, crossing her arms.
“You mean Lydia?” you asked, putting down your cutlery and staring at her. “Why? She hasn't done anything to you.”
“Breaking into my house and stealing my girlfriend, is that not enough for you?” she growled, slamming her fist on the table, causing an ominous sound of glass shaking.
“Wait, if I remember correctly, it was you who asked me to meet here,” you said with an unpleasant, inquisitive tone. “Now you change your mind?”
“I haven't changed my mind,” she said, not alerted by your annoyed tone, elegantly wiping herself with a napkin. “She's stupid, and I still think the same way.”
“Stupid? Lydia hasn't done anything to you, Donna,” you said in an accusatory tone, shaking your head. “In fact, maybe if you hadn't had that dark and sinister attitude you always had, you would have realized that she's a good…”
“Shut up, I don't want to hear you defend her,” she interrupted, pointing at you and cooling her dark gaze even more. “I've heard enough.”
“Oh, wow, and what exactly did you hear?” you asked ironically, crossing your arms with a haughty, defiant tone.
“Too many things, (Y/N),” Donna said furious, clenching her fist so hard that her knuckles turned white. “You told me that I was the first.”
“Yes, and it's true, you were my first long-term relationship, I didn't lie to you,” you said, frowning and letting the air out of your lungs little by little.
“That's why you went around making out with girls, right? As if you were a slut,” the lady growled, getting up from the table and pressing her lips tightly together.
You sighed again, shaking your head, with a mocking and false smile.
“If I haven't told you anything it's precisely to avoid that reaction, darling,” you said, getting up too, enduring the lady's hurtful words, some that, over time, you stopped giving importance to.
After all, Donna was sick. She didn't control her emotions well. You couldn't blame her for that.
“What else have you hidden from me? Did you make love to any of those stupid girls? Have you lied to me about that too?” the lady asked, coming closer and grabbing your arm tightly.
“Let me go, Donna,” you said with a serious voice, breaking free from her grip. “Look, it's clear that I can't talk to you right now, so relax, take a deep breath and think before you say anything else,” you said, putting your hands on her shoulders, making her look away. “That's it... Calm down, my love…”
“I'm sorry,” she apologized after relaxing, playing with your hand nervously. “I shouldn't have said that.”
“Okay, that's better… Now sit down while I pick this up, relax and forget about my past. You are my present, you know that, right, my love?” you said lovingly, lifting her chin and stealing a tender kiss on her lips.
Donna nodded, running her hands over your face and sighing sadly.
“I just don't like that girl, she gives me the creeps,” she said after a few quick and comforting kisses. “I don't want you to see her again.”
“The creeps? Why?” you asked amused, playing with her black hair, keeping your eyes on hers, which seemed to be trying to run away cowardly. “Come on, Donna, she doesn't...”
“I've seen how she looked at you, how she smiled at you. That girl wants something with you, I know it,” she affirmed nervously, grabbing your face harder.
“Don't talk nonsense, she has child and she's married,” you explained calmly, dealing again with her irrational jealousy. “I'm sorry, Donna, but I'm not going to stop seeing my friend because you have that damn paranoia, so you better get used to the idea, okay?”
“She'll take you away from me... I-I'll be alone... You'll leave me!” the lady screamed, making you step back for a moment, her whole body shaking with irrational anger. “You will leave me…”
“Oh, gosh, no honey, no… Stop…” you said worriedly as you watched the love of your life losing her mind, pulling her hair hard as she sobbed. “Shh, Donna, don't do that…”
“I can't stand it, no, no, I can't…” she stammered almost unintelligibly, alternating words in Italian and insults that made no sense. “I can't…”
“Come here…” you whispered lovingly, drawing the lady's trembling body towards yours, letting her rest her head on your shoulder as you hugged and comforted her as you already knew how to do masterfully. “Shh, don't cry, my Donna… I'm here with you… I'll always be here with you…”
“(Y/N)…” the woman sobbed, burying her head in your chest, pulling hard at your dress, desperately scratching your back. “Don't leave me, please, don't go... With-With her...”
“You know I won't, I know you know that,” you said, caressing her head. “Come on, stop crying... Donna...” you insisted, faced with the impossibility of calming her crying, something that was more complicated than other times.
“I don't want you to see her again, please...” she whispered after a moment, after a soft movement of your arms cradling the sick lady. “Don't make me suffer anymore...”
“Donna,” you said with a slightly calmer but firm voice. “Listen to me, you have to... Calm down, okay? Lydia is my friend, just my friend. I'm not interested in her and I'm not interesting to her, you have to understand that I want to see her from time to time, and that doesn't mean that I love you less or anything like that. Please, darling, tell me you understand…”
“I… V-Va, va bene…” Donna murmured, slowly moving away, surely embarrassed by her behavior. “S-She’s your friend.”
“Yes, that’s it,” you said with a smile, discreetly checking that the lady hadn’t managed to hurt herself. “She’s my friend, just my friend.”
“S-She won’t take you away from me, will she? You won’t leave me for her, will you?” she asked desperately, grabbing your hands tightly.
You hissed at the pain, but remained calm.
“Of course not, Donna,” you said, kissing her quickly, feeling the salty taste of her tears on your lips. “You are the most important thing to me.”
Donna nodded slowly, with a sad smile.
“I love you, (Y/N)…” she whispered in your ear.
“Me too, Donna… So much,” you said with a smile that she returned. “Now… Stay here with Angie while I pick this up and then… Well, then maybe I can prove to you the truth of my words,” you said, winking at her, making her laugh shyly. “Angie, stay with her, okay? Take care of her for me.”
“Yes, ma'am,” the doll said, gracefully climbing up her owner's body. “Hey, hey, Donna, let's play guessing games...”
Crisis over, for the moment.
Time went on and, luckily, Donna finally agreed to let you maintain the friendship that you had lost. Almost every day you met with Lydia to chat, to drink a coffee or a beer at Luiza's.
You knew that Donna wasn’t exactly happy about it, but you appreciated her apparent change of mind. Her only condition was simple: not to abandon her, not to stop caring for her, not to stop showing her that she were the most important thing for you.
Everything was going perfectly. With jealousy slightly set aside and a friendship recovered, you could say without a doubt that you were living one of the best stages of your life. But, as always, everything had to go wrong at some point.
“But who is this precious child?” you said while playing with Lydia's baby, on one of your afternoons of quiet chat. “Hello, hello, hello… Hey, he suits me, doesn't he?”
“Yeah, well,” your friend joked, shaking her head. “More or less.”
“More or less? Little Ivan adores Aunt (Y/N), doesn't he?” you said amused, making funny faces at the baby, who responded with an adorable laugh. “Look, I make him laugh.”
“It's not something complicated,” she said, looking at you fondly.
“I see, maybe I'm better at it than I thought,” you commented, giving the child back to his mother. “I don't know, maybe one day…”
“You're not thinking about…” she said, frowning. “With her?”
“Oh, no, I'm not saying that... Um, well, I'm good with kids, but I don't really want to start a family... right now...” you murmured somewhat nervously.
“I understand your doubts,” Lydia commented, with a mocking expression. “It's definitely not a good idea.”
“Hey, what do you mea...?” you said, giving her a soft punch on the shoulder.
“(Y/N), I'm glad to see you,” Igor, your friend's husband said, entering through the door.
“How are you?” you asked your old friend amused. “I was talking to your wife about how good I am with children.”
“You? I find it hard to believe,” the boy joked, greeting his wife affectionately.
“I notice a certain distrust towards me...” you said mockingly.
“No, it's just that we know you,” your friend said, causing you to stick out your tongue, amused.
“Yes, yes, very funny,” you said pretending to be annoyed, crossing your arms.
“Are you staying for dinner, (Y/N)?” Igor asked kindly.
“Dinner?” you asked, frowning and looking at a nearby clock. It was 9 pm and that time marked something you had forgotten. “Oh, shit…”
That night, precisely that night you had met Donna to have a romantic dinner since, that same day, was the anniversary of your first kiss.
Among laughs, anecdotes and memories of the past, you had forgotten.
“What's wrong?” your friend asked, alerted by the way you got up from the couch to grab your coat.
“Today I had to dinner with Donna, a romantic dinner… Shit, shit, I had completely forgotten…” you said regretfully, sighing and closing your eyes. “I'm sorry to leave like this, but…”
“Don't worry,” they both said, watching in astonishment as you disappeared from their house almost running.
You quickly ran through the dark forest, thinking of a valid excuse for the lady in black. You knew there wasn't one, that you had failed at something so simple, that you had, for a moment, forgotten about her.
“D-Donna?” you asked timidly as you entered the mansion slowly, with your heart beating scared, too fast. “My love, I…”
The lady in black suddenly appeared with a cold look and, without saying a word, grabbed your arm, dragging you into the living room and sitting you violently in your chair.
“Donna, hey, relax, I…” you said, scared by that attitude, by the look of hatred that you saw in her eye. “L-Listen, I…”
“Eat,” she ordered you in a dark voice, pointing at your plate, illuminated by some weak candles.
“What? Honey, let me explain…” you said making reassuring gestures with your hands. “Donna…”
“Eat!” she shrieked furiously, grabbing your hand so you could take a fork and sink it into the food. “Eat!”
“Um, okay, okay,” you said, taking some pasta to your mouth, looking in fear at the deranged lady. “I-It's…”
“Do you know what this is?” Donna asked mockingly, breathing heavily. “Do you know what it is, (Y/N)?!”
“I-It's pasta with oil and garlic, right? My favorite,” you said with a cowardly smile, with a broken voice that tried to overcome the situation.
“It's cold pasta, (Y/N)!” the lady shrieked, slamming her fists on the table, making you pull your hands away in fear of being hit too. “And you know why? Because you didn't come…”
You sighed, closing your eyes and rubbing your forehead.
“I know… I, I lost track of time and…” you said, apologizing weakly, knowing that nothing you said would help. “Forgive me, Donna.”
“Forgive me, Donna,” she repeated, with an unpleasant tone. “How dare you to do that to me on our anniversary?!”
“I didn't mean to, I was with Lydia and…” you said nervously, keeping your cool.
“Of course, you were with her,” Donna hissed, bending down to look at you with a nervous, dangerous eye, speaking with an ironically melodic accent. “Did you have a good time?”
“Donna, that's enough, hey, I'm sorry, okay?” you said, slowly getting up. “I forgot about dinner, but not about you.”
“Not about me…” she hissed again, shaking her head with a sinister smile. “You forgot about me!”
“No, that's not true,” you said in your defense, adopting a slightly more confident attitude. “I made a mistake but…”
“A mistake… a mistake!” she shrieked, waving her arms, laughing in a disturbing way. “I'm a mistake to you!”
“No!” you shouted, trying, unsuccessfully, to reason with her. “You're not! I just forgot about a damn dinner, Donna!”
“It may be just a dinner to you, but you know it's important to me, you know that…” she whispered, shaking her head. “If a stupid dinner is so unimportant… You don't need to say anything else.”
“Hey, we all make mistakes, you too. I've acknowledged my fault, it's not fair that you torture me,” you said hissing, also holding the lady's cold gaze. “I've already said I'm sorry.”
“Do I make mistakes?” the lady asked, pointing at herself. “Of course, I made the mistake of letting you keep seeing that bitch...”
“Stop insulting my friend! She hasn't done anything to you!” you shouted furiously, fed up with her contempt towards Lydia, something that hadn't changed. “You're just jealous.”
“What am I supposed to do? Stay waiting like every day? Think about what the hell are you doing with that girl while I'm here alone, crying because you don't come?”
“You're selfish, Donna,” you growled, pushing away another attempt by the lady to grab you, moving away from her but hardening your tone. “Get this into your head, darling: you don’t own me.”
Donna roared in rage, kicking one of the chairs, knocking it over irremediably, making you back off again.
“Of course, of course…” she said, laughing madly. “I get it, (Y/N)… Since I'm not your owner, you think you have the freedom to fuck all the whores you find, right? Why give me explanations? I'm just… Your fucking girlfriend!”
“You're rambling again,” you whispered, shaking your head. “When you stop talking nonsense, we can talk more calmly.”
“I'm rambling, I'm rambling,” the lady gasped, clenching her fists on either side of her hips. “It's my fault for falling in love with a slut like you,” Donna growled, pushing you unpleasantly.
Ignoring that terrible insult and the tears that were beginning to form in your eyes, you took a step forward, not letting yourself be intimidated by her harsh words.
“In love? Let me doubt it,” you said mockingly, defiant again. “You are incapable of loving, Donna, you only want to possess and wow, how curious, I am not your possession, I will never be!”
“Chiudi il becco!” Donna shrieked, approaching hastily and grabbing the collar of your dress, scaring you for the first time. “Porca puttana! You are mine, (Y/N)…”
“No, I'm not, I'm your girlfriend, not your possession, get that through your head and… Donna, let me go, you're hurting me,” you protested, struggling with her grip. “Damn it…”
“Mm, maybe you're right, (Y/N),” the mad lady said, releasing your clothes in a calmer tone. “Maybe I haven't made things clear… Oh, it's my fault, (Y/N)… My fault for letting you do whatever you wanted…”
“What?” you asked, putting on your clothes.
“Mm, maybe I've been too soft with you… Maybe I should tie you to my bed to make sure you never… leave me again!”
The rage that those words provoked in you was already unbearable. The rage traveled through your veins, heating up your body until your fury came out in the form of a loud slap towards the lady in black, who turned her head at the blow, but didn't change her gaze.
“You know what, Donna? People are right, you are a dangerous lunatic, a freaking nutcase who only knows how to give nightmares, to cause pain…” you said sobbing while Donna held her bruised cheek, looking at you with a terrifying gleam. “You are stupid, Donna Beneviento, a selfish lunatic who is incapable of behaving better than a three-year-old girl and you know what? I’m fed up. I’m sick of you.”
“Hey, hey, that's enough!” Angie interrupted, comically separating you. “Hey, Donna, (Y/N), stop!”
“I hate you,” you whispered through your teeth, pushing the woman roughly. “You finally got it, honey. I'm leaving.”
“W-What?” Donna stammered blinking in confusion at your words as you hit her with your shoulder, walking without stopping towards the elevator.
Crying, but still angry, you gathered several of your stuff and put them in a backpack, making that hard and horrible decision, determined to leave the love of your life forever.
“W-Wait, wait (Y/N),” the lady said, trying to stop you from leaving, something you ignored with a haughty gesture, walking out the door. “Wait, wait, please!”
“I don't want to see you again... You're the biggest mistake of my life,” you hissed before leaving, closing the door abruptly.
“W-Well... Then...” Donna said hastily, opening the door again while you walked into the darkness. “Then leave! Don't you dare come back... or I'll kill you! “
“Mm, I should have guessed,” you commented with irony.
There weren't many places you could go. Your friend's house, the indirect cause of that terrible argument, seemed like your best option.
“I'm sorry, (Y/N),” your friend said, enduring your tears, warming your spirit with a cup of tea. “But, but I warned you...”
“I know you warned me,” you said abruptly. “Gods... Donna...”
“She can't force you to give up your life, you haven't done anything wrong, (Y/N), besides, you can stay here as long as you need,” Lydia said, rubbing your back.
“W-Well, being late for a romantic dinner is not pleasant…” the husband commented, sitting casually on one of the arms of the sofa.
“Igor,” your friend scolded. “I already knew this would end up happening. You should never have approached that woman.”
“Do you think I don't know? That I didn't know what I was getting myself into?” you asked abruptly, sobbing inconsolably. “I never thought Donna would say such horrible things…”
“People say horrible things when they're angry,” Igor commented, scratching the back of his neck.
“Hey, we're not talking to you,” she said in a brusque tone. “Don't pay attention to him.”
“No… He's right,” you said, shaking your head, burying your face in your hands. “I've also behaved like an idiot, I've said things to her that… that I don't really think.”
“She can't force you to stop seeing your friend, that's not fair, (Y/N),” Lydia said, convinced of her words, reasonable ones. “That's not right.”
“I know,” you said, nodding. “But I can't help but feel that… That I'm somewhat to blame.”
“Don't talk nonsense, I repeat: you haven't done anything wrong,” she said. “That woman is crazy, she sees enemies where there aren't and she controls you. You did well by abandoning her.”
“I know what Donna is like,” you said, looking up. “I know she's terribly jealous and that… Well, she misinterprets things but… but she's also loving, kind, romantic… she took care of me, Lydia, she really did.”
“I can't believe you're still defending her,” the girl said, sighing reluctantly. “She could have hurt you.”
“She would never hurt me,” you said, sure of your words. “She would never... Oh, I know how I sound, that I sound stupid but it's just that... Lydia, I... I love her more than anything. Her flaws are not even a shadow of her virtues. With her, I feel safe and... I don't know what I would do without her. Oh, Gods... I have to, I have to go back.”
Without saying another word, you left the house again, running towards the forest.
Yes, you were right, she was wrong but you hadn't stopped to think that you might be wrong too. Donna had always been alone. She didn't understand the concept of friendship. You, on the other hand, insisted on returning to your teenage years, leaving aside the poor lady in black.
You should have been more understanding with her and not act like you didn't care, not say those horrible things to her.
You were both guilty.
Slowly, you opened the door, finding Donna in a corner, crying inconsolably.
“Donna…” you sighed, leaving your backpack on the floor. “Donna, honey, I’m back…”
“(Y/N),” she said, getting up immediately, her face torn apart by tears. “P-Please, don't leave... Don't leave me... Please... All the things I said... I didn't want to, I shouldn't have…”
“Shh…” you whispered calmly, caressing her cheek. “I've said a lot of stupid things too. I didn't want to, really, I don't think that way.”
“Forgive me, please…” she whispered, hugging you desperately. “I-I was jealous and…”
“I know, I know darling…” you said, caressing her back, letting the lady cry on your shoulder again. “I'm to blame too… I should have understood your feelings better. But, uh, if you want, we can get over it, what do you think?”
“Y-yes, I… I won't fail you again… I love you, (Y/N)…”

unspoken confessions
author's note ; request was quite long so i cut it to certain scenario if you don't mind!! also @aline1701 thank you for endless patience and support!! this is special for you!!
tw ; mentions of alcohol, drunk, little suggestive, kinda friends to lovers, angst
₊‧.°.⋆💭•˚₊‧⋆.
neon lights flickered outside as laughter and music spilled from the small, dimly lit room where the members of the Gapryong Fist gang had gathered. it was a night of celebration, a rare reprieve from the chaos of their daily lives. Jinyoung Park leaned against the wall, a drink in hand, his heart racing not from the alcohol but from the presence of one person in particular.
you were there, laughing with the others, your smile bright and infectious. Jinyoung watched you from a distance, taking in the way your hair caught the light, the way your eyes sparkled with mischief. the ache in his chest intensified — a love he had buried deep, afraid to ruin the friendship that meant everything to him.
“hey, Jinyoung! come join us!” one of the gang members shouted, pulling him from his thoughts. he forced a smile, raising his drink in acknowledgment but remained rooted in his spot, preferring to observe rather than participate.
suddenly, he felt a strong arm wrapped around his neck, and someone's heavy weight fell on his shoulders. “hey Jinyoung, do you know that sitting here in the corner with a pussy face ruin the whole atmosphere?” Gapryong whine right into his ear.
but following his friend's gaze, his expression and tone immediately changed to a conspiratorial smile and a whisper “ah, i think i know what was on our little Jinyoung’s mind..” the leader said, poking his friend in ribs. “or should i say particular someone?” Gapryong guffawed, following his friend's gaze again.
now they were both watching Tom Lee unsuccessfully trying to make attempts to flirt with miss Kim, but you two were just trying live your happy lives and save your evening by completely ignoring the huge man.
smiling to himself, Jinyoung shrugged off his boss's arm, replying, “don't talk nonsense, we're just friends,” leaving Gapryong there, without a chance to discuss the need to tell a woman about his feelings...
as the night wore on, the energy shifted. drinks flowed freely, and laughter turned into raucous shouts. Jinyoung found himself downing shots alongside you, the alcohol blurring the edges of his inhibitions. the world felt hazy and bright, and he could no longer tell where the laughter ended and the warmth of your presence began.
“Jinyoung, you’re such a lightweight!” you teased, nudging him playfully as he swayed slightly. he laughed, the sound bubbling up from somewhere deep within, and for the first time that night, he felt free.
“maybe i’m just saving my energy for the after-party,” he joked, his words slurring slightly. you leaned closer, your cheeks flushed from the alcohol, and Jinyoung felt the pull between you intensifying.
whole gang continued to party, but as the clock struck midnight, many began to stumble out, unable to keep up with the pace of the night. just as two of you. eventually, you and Jinyoung left the building too, both of you unable to stand straight, you made your way to his home and only God knows how you two did it without hurting yourselves.
“mmhm hey, you okay?” you asked, as you entered his apartments, swaying slightly, your voice a melodic drawl. Jinyoung nodded, though he could barely keep his thoughts straight. “yeah… just… taking it all in.”
you moved closer, the warmth of your body radiating against his. “you’ve been so serious whole evening!!! let looooose a little!” you murmur into his chest, your words were playful, and Jinyoung could feel how your breasts pressed against his chest. he swallowed noisily.
before he could respond, you leaned in, your breath warm against his skin. “what if we just… forget about everything for a night?”
his heart raced as desire surged through him, amplified by the alcohol coursing through his veins. “what do you mean?” he stammered, but before he could think, your lips were on his, soft and tentative. the world around them melted away, and Jinyoung kissed you back, feeling the electric rush of adrenaline and the intoxicating thrill of crossing a line he had never dared to approach.
as the kiss deepened, he felt a surge of emotions — joy, fear, longing, and the weight of what it could mean. but the alcohol dulled his anxiety, and when you pulled back, breathless, he couldn't help but grinned. your clouded gaze intoxicated him the least of all the alcohol he had drunk. his hands found your waist and he leaned closer.
“someone is impatient here, huh?” he managed to say, his mind still spinning. you looked at him, eyes wide, and for a moment, he thought he saw something — something that, maybe, just maybe, mirrored his own feelings. but then you simply chuckled, a teasing glint in your eye. “just living in the moment, Jinyoung.”
the night continued in his bedroom, with laughter and stolen kisses, hot touches, and sounds that friends usually not share. fueled by the warmth of alcohol and the thrill of the moment. but as dawn broke, reality crept back in. you slipped away quietly, leaving Jinyoung alone with the remnants of the night.
₊‧.°.⋆💭•˚₊‧⋆.
sunlight streamed through the window, harsh and bright. Jinyoung woke up with a pounding headache, his mouth dry and his mind swirling with fragmented memories. he ran a hand through his hair, groaning as he tried to piece together the events of the night before.
his heart raced as flashes of laughter, your teasing smile, and the warmth of your lips on his neck… his hands on your hips…had it all been real? had he truly kissed you, or was it just a drunken fantasy? he felt a knot form in his stomach.
he glanced around the room, half-expecting to see you lounging on the couch or sipping a drink, but instead, it was just him — alone. the silence was deafening, a stark contrast to the raucous energy of the night before. realization hit him like a punch to the gut : you were gone.
“why did you leave?” he muttered to himself, burying his face in his hands. the memory of your laughter echoed in his mind, and he couldn’t shake the feeling of loss. it wasn’t just that you had left : it was the uncertainty of what had happened. did you even remember? would you pretend it hadn’t happened?
Jinyoung stumbled out of bed, his legs unsteady. he made his way to the bathroom, splashing cold water on his face in a futile attempt to clear his head. as he looked in the mirror, he saw a reflection of confusion and longing staring back at him. warmth of your lips still lingered on his, a reminder of the connection you had shared, but now it felt like a cruel taunt.
he reached for his phone, desperate to see if you had messaged him, but there was nothing. no missed calls, no texts. just silence. the emptiness in his chest grew heavier, and he felt lost, adrift in a sea of uncertainty.
what if i messed everything up? he thought, pacing his small apartment. he thought about the friendship you both had built, the countless moments of support and laughter, and now it felt like it was all hanging by a thread. fear of losing you gnawed at him, making it hard to breathe.
he grabbed a jacket and stepped outside, hoping the fresh air would clear his mind.
as he walked through the familiar streets, memories of you flooded his mind — your laughter, the way you could light up a room, the moments when you both shared your dreams and fears. he remembered how he wanted to tell you everything, how he had wanted to confess his feelings but had been too afraid to ruin what you had. now, he wondered if he would ever get the chance again...

I read the alphabet for Levi and was wondering how aftercare would be if he did ended up making you use your safe word. I love comfort
Yes dear, I just love this request (or mostly I am a sucker for aftercare fluff myself 😅)
Tags: smut to fluff, use of safe word, Levi being rough, doggy style, female reader, ending with lovely kisses from the world's strongest captain.
Hips ramming into your slipper cunt, balls slapping your over-sensitive clit red. Red marks adored your ass kin and hips from his hand's grips and smack. For the past few hours, you have been like this, same position with Levi ramming into your cunt no stop. Not talking he pushed your head down the moment he saw you on the bed after coming home. “Works tough love,” he said in a low voice pushing you.
He did not ask why you were on the bed instead of the couch and why you did not welcome him when he came home. He did not bother to ask why your things were a mess in your room but just what was happening right now. No kiss or foreplay, he slipped right in and patted your head when you whimpered “It's alright be a good girl for me .”
You wanted to be, you wanted to please him even if your work was shit, and you were not treated fairly at work or the train station. You had to get down cause some random man had more important work than a woman who was just going home at 8 pm. You wanted to complain but yeah you still wanted to please him.
Maybe he would kiss me that might help me you thought for a while but after hours your position has not changed, he has cum thrice and you have lost count of yours and yet not a single change in position. Hands having a firm grip on your neck one on your hips and ramming into you.
Your tears and drool not just made the pillows wet but stained at this point, air circulation was low and slowly pleasure faded or maybe your mind was having too many thoughts and Levi’s actions were not helping. Slowly you tried to tap at his thigh to slow down (one of your safe signals ). But nothing, you tapped again and again for a while still not wanting to disappoint him but soon it was overwhelming, not stopping he kept going “ CINNAMON “you shouted.
It took Levi a few seconds to process the word that reached his ear and it was not your moan or whimpers “What?” he asked actions halting instantly. Teras were uncountable now, pulling your body forward you hugged your legs and rocked yourself in the fetal position crying on your knees “Sorry… I am sorry “ you kept saying while crying.
This is not right, he should have done this to see you crying hugging your knees and saying sorry for what? Confused and worried he extended a hand to see if you wanted to first touch him and you answered by extending your hand.
He immediately scooped you and placed you on his lap and rocked you gently, touch so soft like a feather which was a huge contract to how he was fucking you seconds ago “ I am sorry love, what happened and p….noo…no pleas….please don't be sorry …tell me what happed “ he said.
Worrying more when you did not respond for a while and kept crying “Did I… hurt you ?” voice soft and wobbling he asked trying to touch your thighs. But you flinched, his hands retreated to your head and stoked your hair “ I am sorry love I am so sorry I was selfish “ he said.
Feeling bad hearing him say so many sorry you shook your head but feeling too exhausted you tapped his chest to make him look at you. Dark eyes looking at you worried and guilty “Noo…bad day…” you said and coughed as he patted your back gently “You…did not kiss… me “ you said feeling embarrassed by these stupid reasons. You thought he would laugh but no, his face became serious “Ye..yeah...I am extremely sorry, this will not happen again “ he said pressing his lips on your lips.
It was soft gentle and sweet, he pulled away in a second “Let's clean you up and hear about your day shall we “ he said lifting you like you were a glass doll and cleaning you while being quiet the whole time.
Massaging all your sore spots and your legs once you let him touch your thighs which felt really sore. Kiss your head and hands while gently relating some knots in it.
Making you wear one of his shirts he pulled the covers over your chest and tucked your sides.
“What happened ?” he asked resting his head on one hand lying on his side but frowned seeing the way your way face went “Maybe tomorrow we can talk ? “ he asked and you just nodded and snuggled yoruslef into his arms hugging him “ sorry ..” you said again. “Why are you sorry love “ he asked hands stroking your hair “ I did not let you finish …” you said and refused to look at him when he tugged at your shoulder.
A little chuckle escaped his lips “You scared me there … do you think that matters when my queen is troubled ?” he said. Eyes filled with sincerity, love and a little guilt as to what he did to you “Of course not love now sleep “ he said hugging you back pressing a kiss on your head and patting your back.
Tried from the exhausting day and all the thoughts that you had took over immediately as you closed your eyes you saw your lover's face smiling yet different “Sorry love .. will never happen again “ he said pressing a kiss on your forehead again You smiled “ I love you “ you mumble before drifting to sleep. “ Me to my queen “.
It is also very accurate to say he treated you like a queen (he always treats you like a queen but a bit more ) for the next whole week.

My Kind of Woman - Roronoa Zoro Imagine
Pairing: Roronoa Zoro x Reader
Summary: Zoro being love drunk - and also a little drunk drunk - for (Y/N). A short story inspired by Mac DeMarco - My Kind Of Woman.
Requests are closed
************************************************************************
It was late... or rather early? Did it really count as the next morning when you never even went to sleep? There weren't very many people left - most of them had already gone home or were passed out. Nothing unusual for the feasts the Straw Hats would have regularly after a big fight. The huge bonfire had gone out hours ago but there embers still glimmered red and hot. Somewhere, Brook was still playing a song on his guitar. It was slow and almost sultry.
Zoro was more than a little buzzed as he watched (Y/N) drunkenly sway to the music. He was mesmerized by her. The way her hips moved to the music so perfectly. Her eyes were closed as she listened to the tunes, a small smile present on her face. He knew she was dancing for herself only, not to impress any of those men that were there this evening, not even for him. That didn't stop the swordsman from still watching the woman intently though. Zoro sometimes couldn't believe the effect she had on him. All the little nicknames, the nights they spent together, small kisses and hidden touches. It was all so foreign to Zoro but strangely he didn't mind at all.
"Here", she pushed something in his hands.
"What's this?", he blinked a few times.
"My wanted poster. It has a picture of me on it... It'll last longer", she winked at him.
The swordsman grinned stupidly as he unfolded the paper in his hands.
He took another swig of his drink, letting the taste linger in his mouth, watching the way her arms snacked themselves around herself in a soothing hug, a bottle of liquor dangling in her hands. He wasn't a dancer but his mind almost automatically imagined himself in her arms, swaying to the music. Oh, the things she did to him...
She was everything for him. How could a woman like her ever stay with a guy like him? He was stubborn. A brute. Not romantic in the slightest. And yet she was always by his side, making sure he ate, slept, rested. That shitty cook liked to remind Zoro that she was too good for him every chance he got - any maybe he was right - but as long as she would have him he'd do everything for her.
"Are you serious? You need to rest! Your wounds haven't even healed properly and here you are training again already! I'm not gonna stay and watch you kill yourself"
"Leave then, I never asked you to be here anyways", Zoro regretted the words as soon as they left his lips.
"You're an idiot, do you know that?", she told him before leaving the room.
He was sure he had permanently fucked things up with her this time, kicking himself over it, but in the evening (Y/N) came up to him.
"You shouldn't talk to me this way"
"I'm sorry", he meant it. He really did. He expected her to tell him to get lost, to not talk to her again but instead she hugged him. He didn't understand why she stuck right next to him, but he didn't dare to vocalize his thoughts, afraid of putting ideas in her head.
As if under a spell, he made his way over to her. He would blame the alcohol in the morning but he knew it was her that had this intoxicating effect on him. He knew the guys would tease him for his public display of affection but he didn't care. All he cared about right now was (Y/N). When he hugged her from behind, she didn't even hesitate as she turned around nuzzling her face in the nape of his neck.
"Didn't take you for a dancer"
"Couldn't help myself "
For a moment the two of them just stood there, swaying to the music, enjoying each others company.
"'M tired...", she mumbled into his shoulder.
"Want me to bring you back to the Sunny?", he leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear as he spoke.
"Only if you join me"
She didn't have to ask twice as he easily scooped her into his arms to carry her back to the Sunny. He'd never understand how he deserved a woman like her. He never was the romantic type but with her it was different. She was his kind of woman.

I just read Playboy and... Oh boy. Damn. Bashful Joel is *the best.* Also, I'm so curious if they woke up Ellie lmao that would be horribly, deliciously awkward
𝐅𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐡
pairing: Joel Miller x Reader
word count: 819
warnings: awkward. Very subtle references to smut. Not proof read.
note: I loved this ask so much that I had to write it just for funsies. I think I try really hard (too hard) sometimes to be a serious writer when sometimes I’m in need of a little bit of fun! See the fic that inspired this ask here. PLEASE NOTE: at the end of this there are two dashes ( - - ) there is a glitch removing the last paragraph of my fic so this is the only way I can curb it!
Fuchsia blurs across Ellie’s cheekbones, encroaching on the skin of her throat and exposing her obvious discomfort in the silvery reflection of the wing mirror. You chew on the inside of your cheek raw as you watch her for hours, her eyes staring into the obscure image of the passing evergreen outside the window as though she was experiencing shell shock.
“You’re uncharacteristically quiet, Kid,” Joel speaks up through the silence, his eyes drifting up to the wing mirror glass and assessing the image of Ellie’s reflected mortification. Outwardly cringing, she glances forward at Joel and shrugs awkwardly.
“Yeah, well, you were ‘uncharacteristically’ loud last night,” she mumbles under her breath, and you swear you feel your insides curdle. Joel’s eyebrow arches slightly in question, but you know exactly what she’s touching on, swallowing back your urge to explain and apologise.
“Gotta speak up, Kiddo. Can’t hear you on that side,” Joel reminds Ellie of his deaf ear, and you find yourself closing your eyes in mortification at his insistence to find out what was bugging the poor, tortured girl.
Ellie clears her throat with a shake of her head, sprawling out across the back seat in a dramatic flop.
“It’s not important.”
Joel, frustrated now, aims his scrutiny at you. His bronze eyes study your discomfort; his eyebrows pinched together when you form your lips around the words she knows.’
The result is almost instantaneous—Joel’s grip on the leather steering wheel creaks, his knuckles white. You can practically see his stomach drop, and he lets out an awkward chuckle that lacks humour. Resting your elbow against the curve of the door, you hide your eyes behind your fingers.
“… Ellie,” Joel speaks tentatively, and you swear you can feel the almost nauseous discomfort radiating off the teenage girl in waves, “… Uh… When-“
“‘A man and a woman love each other very much’? Are you fuckin’ serious, Joel? Are you about to give me the birds and bees talk?!” Ellie scoffs, shaking her head, “You really are shoddy at this.”
“I didn’t-… I ain’t had to talk about this before,” Joel grumbles, teeth gritting as he rubs at the back of his neck to wipe the nervous sweat away.
“You don’t have to. You were both so noisy I got a pretty clear picture!” She pointed out viciously, and you swear you wished a Bloater would just run at the truck and flip it over, knocking you out and putting you out of your misery. You’re cringing so hard you swear you’ve tied your intestines in a knot.
“Shit-… ‘M sorry, Ellie. You shouldn’ta heard that…” Joel mumbles, and it’s like he’s getting his knuckles rapped with a ruler by his maths teacher. You’d never heard the gruff, unapologetic man sound so meek.
There’s a long stretch of silence, and it almost tempts you to peek through your digits and see what is happening. So quiet and tense is the atmosphere that the running engine of the ageing vehicle sounds like a mountain avalanche, rumbling within the contents of the van’s metal shell. You suppose a huge rock hitting you head on would be more optimal than this utterly humiliating conversation.
Joel damn near stalls the truck when Ellie speaks up, catching you both off guard with what she chooses to say next.
“… So… *Is* he smaller than the average American dick length?”
“Ellie!” You and Joel yell out in shock, and Ellie almost falls off the seat in her intense laughter, clutching at her stomach at the evident shame that decorates Joel’s expression.
“I’m just fuckin’ with ya! I don’t wanna know that shit!” She giggles, wiping tears from her waterline with her knuckles.
“Oh, fuck you,” you scoff, shaking your head and leaning it back against the headrest.
“No thanks, that’s what Joel is for.”
“Ellie, I swear I am gonna kick you out of this truck and make you walk to Wyoming,” you insist, pointing towards the door handle beside you with zeal.
“Got it, got it,” she chuckles, sitting up again, “But don’t think I’m lettin’ you off that easy. I hear anything nasty? I’m screaming so a runner comes and kills us all. It’s less painful than listening to what I heard last ni-…”
When you dare to look, poor Joel is staring vacantly ahead of him as he drives, looking as though he’s really wondering just why the *fuck* he decided to take this job from Marlene and whether or not Ellie would be able to find her own way to Wyoming if he dropped her off on the roadside and abandoned her. Surely scrappy little Ellie could deliver herself with a map and a single cereal bar for protection?

Atalanta NSFW Headcanons - Part 1
100% dominant. She cannot bring herself to submit to anyone. Lucky for you, this means she is extremely interested in your pleasure. She wants to make sure you feel safe, relaxed, and pleasured in your sexual endeavors. She does not have a huge sex drive, so she will not request you touch her but (on a good day) enjoys it if you do. For this reason, she owns a few double-sided vibrating straps. She is never opposed to toys during sex and owns an extensive collection of strap-ons, vibrators, dildos, nipple clamps, and anal toys.
She was absolutely serious about never touching you sexually until you come to her wanting it. She will never pressure you or push your boundaries. She is a very patient woman and can wait years before getting frustrated.
She loves to praise you, calling you Darling, sweet girl, good girl, special girl. Also uses phrases like I adore you, I cherish you, You take me so well. She whispers them into your ear in a breathy voice which somehow feels the most intimate. Would never be able to degrade you, as she would feel much too guilty.
At the beginning of your relationship as lovers, she firmly believes that sex is only for the comfort of your marital bed. She doesn’t want to take a chance on anyone else seeing you (as you are hers and thus she should be the only one to see your body) or her (she would be mortified). However, as your relationship progresses, she learns that she is not opposed to a quickie in her office.
She is a busy woman with a low libido, so a proper session happens perhaps once a week, mostly on a weekend day. Rarely masturbates. She does understand that it takes a lot to be in the right headspace to accept something into your body so not all times are the strap. Most times it is a nice make-out session or oral sex.
During a make-out session, she enjoys it when you sit on her lap and face her. She will leave 1-2 hickeys in private places. She slips her thumbs underneath the band of your bra to caress your breasts, and if you don't have breasts, she will play with your nipples. She likes to hold them in her hands and tenderly kiss them. Her chest is quite small so she treats yours with reverence. Lastly, she very much likes it if you grind on her leg for your own pleasure during the act. She'll just sit back and watch you use her for your own pleasure.
For oral sex, she tenderly spreads your legs, taking a long look before diving in. Definitely likes you on your back with your legs spread for her. Will use her mouth to make you cum twice before letting you go. All those eloquent words she uses make for a very flexible tongue.

"Y/N, will you marry me?"
Tears well up in my eyes. “Hyunjin.. you can’t be serious.” I say, covering my mouth. “Oh I’m serious, more than you know.” He says with a smile. It takes a whole minute before I process the fact I haven’t given him an answer. I quickly start nodding my head before a broken “yes” leaves my mouth with a sob.
He quickly stands up and pulls me into a huge hug, picking me up and spinning me around. He puts me down gently and brings my left hand up to slide the ring on. “It’s beautiful.” I whisper, staring at it in awe. “It’s even more beautiful on you.” He says back.
•
Back at the group, everyone’s sitting around the fire anxiously waiting for hyunjin and y/n to return.
“How do you think it’s going?” Seungmin asks. “She’ll say yes. No doubt about it.” Felix says. “Yeah…” Minho says quietly. Everyone looks at his direction, throwing him apologetic looks. “Are you okay?” Ash asks. Minho gives her a small smile before muttering a quick yeah. Han gives Minho a small pat on his back and a smile. “It’ll be okay, she’ll come around.” He says. “If only it were that simple.” Minho stutters. Everyone sits in awkward silence for what seems like eternity, before Changbin makes a joke to change the subject.
•
"There you guys are!" Felix yells, as we make their way back to the group. "Sooo....?" Ash starts to say. I quickly hold my left hand up with a huge smile on my face, showing everyone this beautiful ring placed on my finger. Everyone screams at once, running toward us and engulfing us into giant hugs. "I'm so happy for you two!" Jeongin says, pulling Hyunjin into him. I give him a big smile, until I see Minho standing behind him. He has a smile on his face, but I can tell that it's being forced. My heart shatter at the sight. It's been months since I've talked to him, months since I've given myself the chance to forgive him. How could I possibly still have any feelings for him. I'm an engaged woman now.. and I can't take my eyes off of him. How is it, I'm engaged to the person I've been madly in love with for such a long time now.. who has hurt me so much. But completely gave up on the person who never gave up on me, just for some stupid mistake of words. I quickly shake myself out of my thoughts as I watch Minho walk away. I feel Hyunjin's arms wrap around me from behind and his face push into my neck. "What's bothering you my love?" He asks quietly. I gesture towards Minho, who's currently down by the water by himself. Hyunjin takes a deep breathe in before letting it out. "Go talk to him..." He whispers. "No, this is our night. I don't want to ruin it." I whisper back, turning around to wrap my arms around his neck. He wraps his arms around my waist and brings me in closer. "It won't ruin anything, he wouldn't do that. I think you forget that he's madly in love with you at times." Hyunjin says with a small chuckle. "And you don't have an issue with that? I mean, we're engaged now... that's quit a big thing." I say quietly. "I don't really have an issue with it, because I trust you.. and I trust him. And I know that you'll do whatever it takes to make us happy. As long as I have you by my side every day.. that's all that matters to me beyond this point." He pushes my hair out of my face and tucks it behind my ear before gwntly kissing me. "Now go... talk to him." He says with a smile as he pulls away.
•
I make my way down the beach towards Minho as Hyunjin joins the rest of the group around the fire. "Is this spot taken?" I ask jokingly, pointing to the sand next to where Minho is sat. "Yeah.. I actually called one of the crabs as a date, just waiting for her now." He says sarcastically with a smile. I smile back before sitting down next to him. I give him a warm look before resting my head on his shoulder and looking out to the water. He gently rests his head on mine before letting out a sigh. "I'm happy for you." He states suddenly. "You shouldn't be." I say softly. Minho pulls away to look at me confused. "What do you mean?" He asks. "I mean, I broke your heart and left, then got engaged to the guy I told you I probably never wanted to see again... it doesn't get much shittier than that." I state with a sorrowful smile. "You didn't break my heart y/n..." he says. "If anything... you taught me that I had one." He says with a smile. "You've always had a heart Minho.. You just try to hide it." I say quietly. "You make it hard to hide.." He whispers, looking into my eyes. My heart hurts at his words, I know I've hurt him.. but I also know that he would never let me know if I did. "I love you Min..." I whisper. "I can't lose you... you mean too much to me." "You love him more y/n, and that's okay. You have to listen to your heart. Even if your heart doesn't want me." He says quietly. "That's the thing Minho.. it does. And I don't know what to do because I can't see you and expect myself not to fall for you all over again." I say. "I.. I don't know what to say.." He whispers.
•
My conversation with Minho didn't really go anywhere from there, just a few talk's about how thing's have been doing and what the plan is for our futures. Then we headed back to the group.
"So we rented out this hotel room down the road from here, we all took a couple days off of work to stay, do you guys want to stay for the night?" Chan asks. "We didn't bring anything to stay." Hyunjin states. "The hotel has extra toothbrushes and stuff, and you guys can wear some of our stuff." Han says. "what do you say?" Hyunjin asks me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "Sounds like fun to me." I say with a smile. "Great! I'll go call and add on a room for you guys then!" Chan says, pulling his phone from his pocket to call the hotel before walking away. We all gather our things to bring to our cars.
Once we get to Hyunjin's car, he grabs my bag from my arms and throws it in the trunk. "Ready?" He asks. I give him a quick smile and nod before heading to the passenger side door with him, he holds the door for me as I get into the car. He lightly shuts the door and makes his way around the car before getting into the driver's seat. He starts the engine and not long after, we are on our way.
~
"This hotel is huge!" I say excitedly to Chan as we make our way through the huge front doors of the hotel. Well, more like palace. This place is built like one. "You didn't have to do this, this just screams expensive." Hyunjin exclaims. "It's nothing, besides.. it can be your guys' engagement gift from me." Chris says, with a wink. I look at Hyunjin with a smile then look down at the shiny ring on my finger. I twirl it around before being swept from my thoughts. "Lets go!" Han says excitedly. We all make our way to the elevator. Obviously, not having enough room for all of us to get on together, ironically Minho, Hyunjin and I are left to catch a ride up after everyone else.
It falls to pure silence when the elevator doors shut as Ash, Felix and Han head upstairs. Hyunjin wraps his arm around my shoulder and brings me to his side. He leaves a small kiss at the top of my head before giving me a small smile. It seems like eternity before the doors to the elevator open for us. Minho stands awkwardly as Hyunjin and I make our way into the elevator. "You coming?" Hyunjin says with a smile. 'Oh, uh, yeah." Minho says, shaking his head as if he were deep in thought. He makes his way on with us, standing beside me. For this being such a huge hotel, they could have made the elevator a little bigger at least.' I think to myself. Minho's arm brushes against mine, and I try my hardest to ignore the goosebumps that form on my skin. He must have not ignored them though, considering the smirk I see spread across his lips secretly. The elevator dings once we get to the top floor. "Honeymoon suite." Hyunjin reads on the pamphlet Chan handed us down stairs. He quickly goes through it, examining the pictures given to us. "This place is nicer than our apartment." He says dramatically. "Well, I guess this is us." I say to Minho. "Yeah, I'll catch you guys later?" He says, pressing the button to which floor he has to go to, with a smile. "Do you want to come hangout for a while?" Hyunjin asks him. I give Hyunjin a questioning look, before putting my attention back to Minho. "Oh, well.. this is a special night for you two, I think it would be best if you spent it together." Minho says. The doors go to close but Hyunjin quickly shoves his foot in front of it before it can. "Don't be ridiculous.. Just come hangout for a little bit." Hyunjin says, grabbing Minho's hand and dragging him out of the elevator and into our suite before he can protest. I wonder to myself what the hell Hyunjin could actually be thinking. ‘I’m trying to get over him, you know this. Don’t do this to me.’ I think to myself as we enter through the doors of our suite. All of our jaws hit the floor at the sight of the place. “Holy shit..” Minho whispers. “There’s no way he paid for this.” I whisper. “He had to have robbed someone.” Hyunjin says. Causing a chuckle from both Minho and I. Walking in, the first thing to see is a huge Queen bed, spread with satin sheets and grey pillows. Above the bed.. a mirror, if only you could imagine what that would be for. Across from the bed, a fire place with the TV above it and a few chairs to finish it off. Next to that, a balcony, out-looking the ocean. "This is insane." I say, making my way to the bed and throwing myself on to it. "This is the best bed I've ever felt in my entire life." I say dramatically, letting out a long relaxed sigh. I feel the bed dip next to my feet and look over to see Minho sit next to me. I give him a small smile. "Drinks?" Hyunjin asks, grabbing one of our bags and heading toward the kitchen area.
When Hyunjin leaves the room, is when Minho decides to talk. "What is he trying to do?" He whispers. "I couldn't tell you." I whisper back. We let our eyes connect, for longer than we'd both like. I can tell he's hurting, there's pain behind those huge brown eyes and all I want to do is hold him, comfort him, tell him everything is going to be okay. "y/n..." He whispers. "yeah?" I say. "Can you do something for me?" He asks. "Anything." I reply. He looks away, looking down at his hands, where his fingers play together nervously. "Tell me you love me, just one more time." He whispers. I think my eyes are playing tricks on me when I see a tear welling up in his eyes. My heart shatters at the sight. My whole time of knowing Minho, he's only cried once. I sit up, scooting closer to him. Running my hand down his back. "I'm afraid I'll always love you Minho." I whisper to him, setting my chin on his shoulder. "There's nothing to be afraid of baby." He says, turning around to face me. He takes my hand in his. "Don't call me that." I whisper. "It hurts too much." His thumb rubs against my palm. "Alright, let's drink!" Hyunjin says excitedly. Minho quickly pulls his hand from mine. Hyunjin saw, I know he did. His face tells it. He walks over to the bed with a tray with three drinks sitting on it. He hands us our drinks and sits on the bed with us. "Cheers! To my beautiful Fiancé." He says, looking at me with a wink before he brings the glass to his mouth and chugs down his entire drink. I give him a wide smile and take a sip of mine. I look over to Minho and watch as he chugs his down as well.
~
It's been a few hours since we've gotten to our room. We've all had too much to drink at this point. Minho was sprawled out on one of the chairs by the fireplace, Hyunjin was laying on the floor and I on the bed. We've been sitting around talking nonsense and making each other laugh uncontrollably. It felt good to be alone all together again, and there not be any drama. For a minute it felt like things before. That's until Hyunjin opened his mouth. "Minho, do you still love y/n?" Silence fell over the room, the only thing playing is light music in the background, that we weren't really listening to in the first place. "Hyunj.." I start, but he quickly stops me. "No, I want to know." He says. I can't tell where he's going with this by the look on his face. Minho stares at him is silence before letting out a sigh. "Hyunjin, I'm not here to argue. We were all just having a really good time." He says. "I'm not looking to argue, I'm looking to make amends." Hyunjin states. Taking another sip of his beer. "How do you expect to do that Jinnie?" I ask quietly. Hyunjin smirks, looking between Minho and I.
"I want you guys to fuck." He states nonchalantly. My eyes widen, along with Minho's. "Bro, I don't thi.." Hyunjin cuts him off. "Before you guys say anything! I've thought long and hard about it, and I think it would benefit all three of us." He talks as if it's the most normal thing on earth. I know we've done it before. But everything is so different now. We're engaged... we're getting married. That's huge, this is not the time to be making decisions on whether or not we want a three way relationship again. That, and Hyun's been doing so good, I'm scared he'll go back to his old ways if this happens again.
"Hyun.. don't you think this isn't the right time for this?" I ask, sweetly as I can. "It's the perfect time, my love." He says, getting up from his spot on the floor and crawling onto the bed next to me. "I know he loves you, and I know you still love him. I understand that will never change. What is the point in walking on eggshells around one another?" He says. "Hyunjin, you're drunk. You don't know what you're saying." Minho says. "I agree. If we do this, you will wake up in the morning completely regretting it." I say. "Don't act like you two haven't been longing for one another since we got to the beach." Hyunjin states. "I see the way you look at her Minho, it's quite intense to be honest." He chuckles. "And you..." He crawls close to my face, the tips on our noses touching one another. "The love in your eyes when you look at him... it's like the first time I saw you. I understand that look more than you know y/n." He whispers. "Hyunjin..." He quickly shushes me with his lips. He slams them hard onto mine, my body falls back a little bit at the pressure of it. "Are you sure about this?" I say in between him kissing me. "I've never been so sure about anything in my life." He states. I pull away from his lips and he makes his way down my neck, licking a stripe down the side of it to my colar bone. I look over at Minho as he does. "Come here min.." I moan out. Minho stands from his chair and makes his way over to the bed cautiously. Hyunjin continues to lick and suck at my neck. I hold out my hand to Minho, he grabs it and climbs onto the bed with us. Sitting beside me, he brings my hand up to his mouth, before planting a gentle kiss to it. I miss the feeling of his lips. I grab the collar of his shirt and pull him toward me. I slam my lips onto his. Our lips connect in perfect unison, as if nothing has changed, like nothing happened and everything has been the same this entire time. All of our worries and love are pressed into each other's mouths through our lips. Minho lets out a long moan, sliding his tongue into my mouth. I feel Hyunjin pull away, I stop kissing Minho and he takes the place on my neck where Hyunjin's lips once were. "Jinnie..." I moan out, as he gets off the bed. I reach for him with a pout, asking him to get back on the bed. "Oh darling, this is about you. I'm just going to watch." He states sweetly, before leaning over the bed and planting a kiss to my forehead. I watch as he makes his way to one of the chairs by the fireplace and drags it to the foot of the bed before taking a seat.
Minho brings his hand up and presses against my shoulder, telling me to lay back. To which I do. He quickly climbs on top of me. "I've missed those pretty lips." He whispers, before bringing his mouth back down to mine. I moan through the kiss and run my hands through his hair. His hand finds my breast, giving it a sharp squeeze before working his way down my body to my dripping cunt. He cups it in his hand before taking his thumb and rubbing me through my pants. A hum leaves my lips as he does. "That's it pretty girl, you miss me?" He asks cockily. I'm too hot and heavy to come up with a sarcastic remark, all I can do is nod at him. A smirk plays out on his lips as he continues to rub at my clit. "You're so wet already baby, we've barely done anything." He states. He pulls his hand from my heat, causing a whine to leave my lips. "Patients baby." He whispers, before wrapping his fingers in the waistband of my pants and dragging them down my legs, along with my underwear. "Spread your legs for me baby." He says. I do as he says, and drop my knees to the sides. “God..” I heard Hyunjin groan from the end of the bed. “Such a pretty pussy, baby.” Minho whines, climbing on top of me to connect our lips once more. I grind my hips up into his, causing a groan to escape his lips. I feel his hardened member rub against my naked core, leaving behind a wet strip on his jeans. “She’s covering you Minho.” Hyunjin groans. Minho pulls away and looks down at his clothed cock. A smirk plays out on his lips. “Oh sweet girl.. look what you did.” He says. A blush forms on my cheeks as I look away from him, too embarrassed to look him in the eye. “Look at him, my love.” I hear hyunjin say. I pry my eyes away from the wall and look at Minho. “Good girl.” I hear hyunjin again. “You listen well don’t you?” Minho says. He backs up off of the bed to take off his pants and boxers before climbing back on. His hardened member swings loose as he does. Dripping precum with veins so prominent, you could see them a mile away. “Turn around baby.” I do as he says and get on my knees, bending over to stick my ass in the air. “Face your fiance.” He adds. I quickly turn around and face hyunjin. My core tightens at the sight. There sits my fiance, watching something so raw, so dirty. With his cock in his hand, stroking himself softly and slowly. His tip leaking, his forehead sweaty. All I want to do is get on the floor between those perfectly long legs and take him in my mouth. “Mmm.. so perfect.” Minho says, taking me out of my thoughts, before landing a sharp blow to my right cheek. I hiss at first, but moan right after. I suddenly feel his tip slide through my heat. “Look at you, my love.” Hyunjin whispers. Scooting close to me at the end of the bed, bringing his face only centimeters from mine. “You want Minho to fuck you hmm?” He asks. Running his hand through my hair. “You want him to make that pussy cum?” I nod. He gives me a small smile before standing up from the chair and standing In front of me, his clock on full display. “Open.” He says, gesturing to my mouth. I obey, sticking my tongue out. He softly grabs his member and sipes his tip on my tongue, ridding of the precum leaking from the tip. I take my tongue back into my mouth to take him. I moan at the feeling. I quickly open my mouth again, asking for more. “Such a greedy girl.” He says, before placing his tip back on my tongue and sliding his hips forward. His tip hits the back of my throat just right, before I gag. I feel my hole stretch behind me as Minho sinks himself into me. I let out a long moan around Hyunjin’s cock. Causing a moan to escape his lips at the sensation. “God, you’re so tight baby.” Minho moans, ramming himself into me from behind. A squeak leaves my mouth every time he bottoms out inside of me. “Keep going baby, I’m gonna cum.” Hyunjin moans. I wrap my hand around his balls, taking him even deeper into my throat. I feel his cock twitch a few times before his seed explodes inside my mouth.
The taste of him and the feeling oh Minho slamming inside of me, sends me into a state of euphoria. I quickly swallow Hyunjin’s seed and let out a loud moan as I cum around Minhos cock. “That’s right baby, cum for me.” Minho moans. I feel him coming to his high as I cum around him, his member twitching inside of me as he fills up my soaking heat. He lets out a sigh before pulling out of me and landing onto the bed with a thump. I feel him cum leak out of me and down my leg, hitting the sheets below me. Hyunjin climbs on to the bed next to me and pulls me into his arms. “Come here, my love.” He plants kisses all along my face, ending at the top of my head. We sit in silence, catching our breaths, until Minho speaks up.
“Well… now what?”

Poll Adventure: Rarijack Dinner
Index | [prev] - Part 03 - [next] Special thanks to @babydarkstar for putting out great writing
Previous Poll:
-----
“Rarity…”
Deep down, AJ knows she doesn’t want there to be any uncertainty about what this means to her. She doesn’t want to have to read Rarity for romantic feelings during dinner. It has to be a proper date or nothing at all. Though it might sting in the end, she’s going to have to rip the bandaid off. Inside her has lived a deep longing for this moment, long enough that she’s not sure what it’ll feel like once it’s gone. But at least she’ll never have to live with the guilt of a “what if,” and the pain of the unknown. She’ll be able to say she gave it a shot.
If it does end up badly, she knows at some point she’ll get over it. Hell, if the answer’s a no, maybe Rarity will just find the offer flattering and move on. Surely she’s used to turning plenty of suitors away.
“I’m callin’ because I wanted to ask you somethin’.”
She can feel the blood pumping in her veins.
“Anything, darling,” Rarity says, and the energy between them grows serious.
“I’ve been meanin’ to ask you for a while now,” she begins, taking a huge breath to make sure she’s still alive. Here goes nothing. “Would you…wanna have dinner with me? Just us, I mean.”
There’s a moment of silence. Then—
Rarity’s elegant laughter sparkles like bells in AJ’s ears—and she can’t decide if that’s good or bad.
“Is that what the fuss was about, dear? Of course I’d love to have dinner with you! Dining is much more pleasant with friends.”
…oof. Maybe she should have said it differently. Is it so unusual to Rarity that AJ would mean it romantically?
Though she can’t help but notice the slight tremor in Rarity’s voice, the brimming question of diffidence just beneath her perfectly curated tone. She has to know that AJ wouldn’t call so randomly and sound so nervous just to ask for bonding time between friends.
Well. AJ has to say it—loud and clear. She doesn’t want there to be any misunderstanding.
Her hands are shaking now; she feels like even a weak gust of wind could knock her over.
The voice that comes out of her own mouth—trembling, pitchy, almost timid—doesn’t even sound like her own.
“I meant”—AJ pauses; it feels like the room is spinning—“as a date.”
“Oh…!”
Adrenaline washes over her upon hearing that single reaction. Nothing matters right now except the voice on the line. Try as she might to stay focused, the pounding in her ears makes everything feel muffled. She feels like she does after finishing a rodeo.
Another sound on the phone, barely a murmur.
“Applejack, I—”
But Rarity doesn’t end AJ’s suffering.
Her grip on the counter tightens and she leans into it for support, the weight of her work-toned body causing the old wood to squeak.
The silence on the line is what kills her.
She feels like a lamb backed into a dark corner, timberwolf-shadows cast on the walls of her doubt-addled mind. This is certain death.
Seconds pass, each one growing longer and more painful than the last. She doesn’t know how to react; she doesn’t know what to say—or if she should say anything. All she knows is that with each passing second, fear and doubt cloud her mind until she’s blind with anxiety.
She shouldn’t have done this. This was a horrible idea. Why couldn’t she have just been happy as friends? Is friendship off the table now? What if Rarity thinks she’s a creep now, with all those times they went to the spa together?
Great, now she’s gonna be known as the stereotypical lesbian friend that hits on her straight friends—it’s a fucking myth anyways, but that won’t matter. Has Rarity ever even shown interest in a woman? Now that she thinks about it…
Hell.
AJ’s seconds away from telling her it’s a joke and just backing off. But before she can, she finally hears a response from her longtime crush, the heart-heavy ache that beats in her chest and haunts her dreams with a silver tongue and soft curls.
“Absolutely, I will,” comes the response, and AJ feels like she can breathe again, “I would love to go on a date with you.”
Rarity, however, sounds breathless, like a feather wisp floating on a breeze. The usual high-pitch, energetic frenzy of her cadence has been replaced with a certain poise and composure that’s hard to place. Maybe reverence is the word AJ’s looking for?
AJ blinks twice, trying to form some sort of a coherent sentence. Her brain feels fried. And. She’s kind of in shock? It takes her a few seconds to process that this is a yes, and not the blatant rejection she was expecting.
While it’s not quite the answer she usually fantasizes about in her daydreams, it still pricks the back of her neck with chills—and a wave of relief washes over her.
“I…Really?”
“Yes. Really.”
Okay. This is happening.
“That’s…that’s great news! Okay, well, uh, I’ll see you then and—”
She’s interrupted by a heartfelt giggle from Rarity.
“Slow down, darling,” she laughs, light amusement clear in her tone, “Where will we go? And when?”
Oh. Right.
AJ lets out an embarrassed chuckle. “Oh, yeah—sorry.”
“You must let me know what you have in mind. A lady needs to properly prepare herself…for a date.”
Rarity sounds a bit giddy now, and much more like her usual self again.
But. Shit. AJ hasn’t planned anything out yet. In her nervousness, she didn’t even consider what would happen after if Rarity said yes.
Hmm...
She could invite Rarity over. Cook something for her. Pinkie may do it more often, but cooking and baking are skills AJ takes pride in having. She knows she’s a good cook. Besides the obvious benefit of getting to show off, cooking for Rarity feels personal. It’s more work to do, but cooking can be very romantic. Plus, there are plenty of romantic spots on the farm. Though she doesn’t plan on dining on the floor of the barn, it’s still a farm (and a farmhouse) and she knows how Rarity can be. AJ would hate for one of her dresses to get dirty as a consequence. Even worse, get blamed for it.
There’s also the option of a more traditional romantic evening. A nice restaurant would mean less prep for AJ, and it shows Rarity that she knows what she likes. It would also give Rarity permission to go all out with her outfit, unlike the farm. (Though AJ has a feeling she’ll do that regardless.) She could put on a fancy getup herself and show Rarity she cares about the impression she makes when she’s not toiling in the fields. Oh, but the thought of leaving the fashionista unimpressed by her attempts at an outfit…it makes her itchy. She’d have to ask someone for help besides Miss Haute Couture herself. It’d feel a little taboo to have her pick it out for their date. While dining out means AJ gets to stare unashamedly at Rarity the whole night, it could also be…awkward to sit opposite to each other if it ends up being stiff. Hopefully it won’t be. It’s Rarity; she couldn’t be boring if she tried. And besides—they always find something to joke about, even if it’s themselves.
Then there’s the financial aspect of going out. AJ doesn’t splurge on anything. Ever. She would for Rarity, though. She’s got enough saved for that. Still, she gets annoyed at people trying to nickel and dime her on every little thing. If it comes to that, she hopes she can keep her annoyance to herself. For Rarity.
Ugh. What to say…

caught with our pants down (part 2 to caught with her pants down)
In the morning Stephanie and I had a serious conversation, she swore she would never cheat again. She explained how she had thought Olivia was a woman at first. How she was curious. And she loved me.
Over the next few weeks, we both got busier. For her it was wedding plans. Had to meet the caterer, sample cake, dress fittings, even canceling our dinner dates on occasions. Although I was busy Stephanie was even more so. Our love life suffered at first but then it was even general conversations. We barely saw each other.
Then one day she informs me she is pregnant. At first I worry about that one time with Olivia. But what are the odds so I let it go. Now on top of insane schedules Stephanie being sick, or just not in the mood because of the pregnancy. By the time my bachelor party rolled around we had not had sex in two months. I was tempted that night easy enough to slip off with a stripper. But stayed true to Stephanie.
It was two days later as I stood at the alter. When Stephanie's sister Jamie came to tell me that Stephanie was sick due to the pregnancy just give her a few minutes. 15 minutes go by and out comes Gina her college roommate and one of the brides maids. Makes excuses again. I try and go see Stephanie, but she is sick in the bathroom I can her her gasping. I go and apologize to everyone but they all understand.
Again a bridesmaid alice appears to tell us to be patient. I even have the caterers start serving drinks and oredurves as we wait. Suddenly Olivia appears, I had not even realized she was the matrain of honor. She announces that the bride is ready. The ceremony goes off wonderfully. Stephanie is in high spirits. I mention Olivia when we have a moment alone.
"Paul, I asked her long before I couldn't take it back, how would I explain that to everyone" Stephanie told me. I nodded understanding
"Besides I love you" we go on with the celebration. We are spending the night in the hotel before we leave for Hawaii on our honeymoon.
The day winds down and we head to our suite. I even carry Stephanie over the threshold. I help her out of her gown. And start kissing her when suddenly the room is full of people. Hiding in the closet or in the hall. I am pushed face down on the bed.
"Sorry baby, but you will understand how much I need this" Stephanie tells me, as I see her forcefully stripped of her lingerie by her own friends. I watch as Gina is wearing a huge black dildo. She lays Stephanie on her back and mounts her. Stephanie takes the toy with such ease.
Olivia is the one holding me down. She leans in close to my ear.
"Your wife is carring my baby" she tells me. I been fucking her every week for almost a year. I can't look away as I watch Stephanie get pounded by her friend. Olivia tears my clothes away. I try to resist but my sister in law grabs my wrists. As Oliva tears my boxers. She rubs her rubbed cock against my ass. More hands hold me as she works the tip of her cock into my ass.
"Don't fight Paul, let her take you" Stephanie moans reaching out and holding my hand. I try and call out. As I do a pair of panties are stuffed in my mouth.
"Do I taste like my sister?" Jamie asks she is barely 18. Olivia works her massive cock into my ass. I look over and see Jamie getting fucked as well. As Gina stuffs her pussy.
"Your ass is even tighter then your wife's the first time I took it" Olivia tells me. Olivia is now working the full length of her 9 inch cock in and out of my ass. I spit out the gag, but now I whimper and moan. As she fucks me. I look over to see. Stephanie now has her face buried in between Gina's thighs. As Alice fucks her asshole. We hold hands as we are taken together as man and wife. Olivia comes pu,ping her load deep into my bowels. I am humiliated but as I go to stand I realize I had cum all over the bed. My little sister in law grabs my hair. And shoves a dildo in my face.
"Suck it bitch. Show us how much you want this" she pinches my nipple hard. I open my mouth and taste the pussy covered dildo. Who's pussy is this? I think. I am made to kneel and watch Stephanie get gangbanged for a second time today. She wasn't sick today. She wasn't allowed to get married till she made them all come on her tounge. Stephanie has had enough she has passed out. Gina puts her dildo under my ass. And pushes me down on it. I gasped and Olivia appeared in front of me she held her cock to my mouth. I took it. I started to suck the til its al, I could fit.
I could see Gina and Alice working on poor little Jamie. And Jamie called out for more. I was on my knees with a huge dildo shoved up my ass as this mean but buetiful Trans fucked my mouth. And I was excited seeing my sister in law take it like a whore from two lesbians next to my new wife.
What was wrong with me. Olivia came in my mouth then had Jamie kiss me we shared her seed.
"You are going to be a mother and father to my child. And an excellent sourse of entertainment for me" Olivia hissed in my ear as they all left . I laid next to Stephanie. Her body covered in little bruises. She reached out and pulled me to her. We held each other as we fell asleep
