the thing about slow cinema is it’s the rothko of film. it’s the epitome of “oh well you just wouldn’t get it.” it’s something a lot of people who don’t enjoy or watch a lot of art film have a really hard time getting through, and i feel like an absolute asshole whenever i rave about a film that’s literally just two hours of free-range livestock walking around.
