Yesterday at the bridge I was sure cellbit was gonna fight roier for real but he literally can't stay mad at his husband for more than 5 seconds. Also 2 minutes later as soon as roier complained he didn't say I love you the way he wanted to hear it, cellbit said it a bunch of times even as roier was being a little passive agressive about it lol. I love them.
(If you don't speak spanish or portuguese, cellbit says "te amo", in portuguese, to richarlyson, and "te quiero", in spanish, to roier. Those have the same translation, and in portuguese we don't have two words for love in that way. The thing is, te amo is also spanish for a stronger/more intimate/more passionate (please spanish speakers correct me if I'm wrong!!) love declararion/confession. So roier complained at being told a "te quiero" while richas got a "te amo". Meanwhile cellbit was super confused bc he didn't even know he was saying different things and also, he wasn't speaking spanish to richas, he was just, in his mind, saying the same thing to them both lol language is a beautiful and yet complicated thing!!)

Infection
Leafpaw stretched out her front legs and yawned loudly as Silverstar excitedly praised the two apprentices. Cloudpaw ran her tail down Silverstar’s spine and he returned the silent message with his own tail. Leafpaw scowled a bit.
“If you’re gonna say something say it out loud until I learn it!” She hissed bitterly.
“Ah! Sorry there. Cloudpaw simply stated she was tired. You both did well.” Silverstar cleared his throat nervously. Leafpaw was an experienced fighter, he worried she’d hurt Cloudpaw.
Leafpaw simply nodded and wandered away from the two cats. Sometimes she wondered how any cat could live like this. She didn’t have a tail so she had to use her paw to do that odd language. It wasn’t all bad since Cloudpaw could read lips but still. She slid around the trees with content as she inhaled the earthy smell. At least this part was nice. She didn’t want to follow any premade path she wanted to make one of her own. She wandered around the woods until a sound pricked her ears. Someone else was there with her. Her body lowered but she came face to face with a brown she-cat sitting on a stump in a very relaxed position.
“Who’re you?” Leafpaw asked with a hostile edge. The other cat wasn’t amused.
“What a question to ask.” She huffed softly. Two more she-cats arose from their hiding spots.
“What are you here for?” Leafpaw sneered and rolled her copper eyes.
“You. We just wanted to talk.” The light grey and white one mewed.
“About what? Aren’t you all from different clans?” Leafpaw inquired.
“As true as that may be we are closer than siblings.” Spiderbite remarked twitching her ears.
“Come with us dear and we’ll explain everything.” Cricketdance mewed, her voice was rich and wise. Leafpaw even felt her spine stiffen.
Leafpaw listened to each she-cat speak and tilted her head. She was still unsure even as they finished. It all seemed a bit odd to her but she could understand the appeal. Power, justice, and more territory. Cricketdance had given them all a perfect plan for a great clan, so why wasn’t she leader? Leafpaw blinked her green eyes and shifted.
“You think Starclan is upset with how the clans are running?” She asked finally.
“Of course.” Cricketdance chimed and her whiskers twitched.
“So what are we gonna do again?” Leafpaw mewed rubbing her nose as Cricketdance’s tail dotted it.
“We’ll plan of course. They can’t silence us forever.” Cricketdance chirped her voice seemed confident.
“Agreed.” Spiderbite nodded her head to the notion proudly.
“So when do we meet again?” Leafpaw asked rising to her paws.
“The next gathering if not that then I’ll send for you.” Cricketdance assured with a smile.
“Okay then. Er…See you later girls.” Leafpaw’s nose twitched but she decided this was important and she might as well take advantage of it while she could.
“Happy hunting.” Graywater called over her shoulder as they all disbanded. What a lovely group of snakes indeed.
