HII I LOVE ANSWERING QUESTIONS TY FOR ASKING !! i love yapping about my au's

1, image was made by a friend and it's what i've been using as a ref ever since lol

2, this is mostly just a faction swap au. other than that, the biggest lore changes i've done so far is change some jobs certain characters have and vinestaff's curse. no personality changes though !!

3, sword has a crystal because i felt like it was a better alternative to his mohawk. when i was only just making a few concepts on paper for this au, i did research a lot about each faction's attires and other things too that relate the each faction respectively. only 2 characters have crystals in the canon universe, and both of those are from blackrock so i assumed that it'd be fun to give sword one :3

i have thought of abilities the crystal could go him and so far my only two ideas have to do with speed. 1st idea is just a speed boost to himself and the 2nd is that he slows down others, lets say when he hits someone with his m2

3, i have drawn betagraft!! i posted the design on my pinterest. i will do zetagraft too sometime.

^^ this was old concept art. zetagrafts will no longer be based off oak trees, but aspen trees instead. if you've seen my subspace design, you'd know that he makes biografts out of wood :)

banhammer as well as other factionless characters won't be getting a design since they don't have a faction. disappointing maybe, yeah, but it's what makes the most sense

4, atm i'm only thinking of drawing a design for playable phighters. if i feel like dresigning npcs after that, then i will certainly let you guys know :3

actually, i have drawn designs for grav and warp at some point but that's pretty much it (they'd be in thieves' den)

these are like... HUGE touhou references lmao. i remember sending grav in bogcom and then like half an hour after sending it i realised that i called her warp instead of grav you don't know the PANIC i felt at that moment

- she simply can't keep her hands off of you, she loves you so much.

- if you ever got adventurous or wanted her to, she could tie you up with her plants as she does as she pleases. she enjoys seeing you in such ways, but is extremely careful to not hurt you.

- also she's an aftercare goddess, always easing you down. even if she was the one bottoming or topping, she'd be sure to care for both; running a soft bath with plenty of salts in it to relieve your body, and preparing some tea for you both as she asked you about how you felt on everything

I have been thinking of paper plane for like a day now, I think the moveset would just be so fun - but you said all of those drawings were based on pre-existing ocs! Who are they based on, pray tell?

no one's actually asked me about my ocs before so sorry this is gonna be a bit of of a long ramble.... hope you dont mind....

paperplane aka windy is based off of windy636 who's a minecraft oc based off of the life series and lifesteal..... he has a rival named cinemackerel and i love them his design was changed the least to be turned into a phighter, and he was also what inspired me to turn my ocs into phighters because i was looking at him and thought.... wow he would make a great phighter.......

conductor is based off ... conductor lol, hes from a short story i wrote based off the weirdcore aesthetic and then used in a collaborative story with my friends :D his design also didnt change much to be turned into a phighter, though i think his phighter design looks a little too much like zuka lol...

lily pad and his skins were based off these three characters! (tommy, cahaw, and georgie) they're characters i play in a minecraft server with my friends (i have a lot of minecraft ocs......) cahaw is also my trafficsona/watchersona their designs probably changed the most, but these are also the characters whose designs change a lot already so its kinda fitting...

also all these guys are on my toyhouse... extra info and stuff and you mention the movesets!! im not the most creative when it comes to stuff like that, but its so fun thinking about what each of them would do.. for paperplane i went kinda full origami where primary would be paper airplanes, but maybe his other moves might have paper stars or cranes....

lilypad's moves i think would be the most interesting because i would wanna lean into the fact that he's undead and living off of plants, which it kinda ended up being really similar to vinestaff n medkit lol (i also think lilypad and vinestaff would be friends.....) (ALSO i think lilypad would look up to scythe because in his non-phighting story he actually does use a scythe so i think that would be really cute)

This may just be because I’m AroAce, but I… genuinely don’t see the appeal in most of the ships for this game?? This will mostly have Medkit ships because he gets shipped with everyone. I’m only giving a few examples, though.

SubKit is just two people who hate each other, have harmed each other to the point it caused permanent damage, and want each other dead (to the point of where one made it so his creations see the other as an enemy on sight). Sure, you all love “toxic yaoi”, but I think this seems a bit far. They pretty explicitly hate each other, to the point where I can’t see Enemies to Lovers working.

MedHammer? Ban’s job is to literally put people like Medkit in prison. They both have bigger problems. The two of them are also extremely rude to each other (I mean, they’re both rude to everyone.) (This ship is also partially ruined because of what the shipper are like. Dare I say, these two are the Sanmos of the Phighting community..)

MedBox? I don’t have much to say about this one other than Medkit is nothing but mean to Boombox, even though B.B tries so hard to be nice.

Swocket. This is probably where this will get called an L take, but… they’re just friends to me. My closest friends and I have the same dynamic as these two. Hell, my siblings and I have the same dynamic as they do. I don’t see how people can look at how these two act and be like “oh, they must love each other!”

HyperTana? Yes, yes, “old man yaoi” or whatever you call it. I just don’t see how these two could ever end up together. They have their own problems to deal with. Once again, this is one I can’t really complain about much.

SubStaff… this is my least favourite ship. Based off of dialogue, Vine just wants to help everyone, and Subspace does nothing but be rude when people don’t follow what he says and/or tells him what to do. In tons of the interactions these two have, Subspace snaps at Vinestaff when she wants to help or when she compliments him (in the case of the “That outfit is so cute!” dialogue).

On the other hand, I think Biograft and Vinestaff have a fun dynamic that more people should look at. I think Shuriken would also be fun with Biograft!

Okok so- Babbling a little to @cosmic-corporation about a faction swap au that I've been thinking of Playground: Scythe/Medkit/Sword Blackrock: Skateboard/Boombox/Rocket [Before becoming factionless] Thieves' Den: Subspace/Hyperlaser/Biograft Lost Temple: Katana/Vinestaff/Shuriken/Slingshot Like design wise it would be SO much fun to come up with little outfits n such for the phighters, although personality wise I feel like a couple wouldn't really change all that much!!! But I also love the idea of like- Playground Scythe almost having a sort of like- Big sister/wine aunt personality towards Medkit [And Playground Broker since he'd be included too]. Like yeah she's still sassy n whatnot, but she's a lot softer and a little less uh.... Criminal-like lmao. Meds and Sword? They still have that big brother/little brother relationship, Meds still went through a significant amount of trauma, but was able to cope with it better than his Blackrockian original. I can't say Sword changes too much. And for Katana, since he was originally from Lost Temple before escaping to Thieves' Den, I feel like he'd be in a position maybe similar to Scythe's [Vine and Shuri are prolly in the cult with him] [Sling would be in a position like Sword, living in LT but not in the cult] Blackrock Rocket prolly followed a similar path as Young Zuka. Blackrock Rocket losing two of his limbs and eventually dropping from the faction [Much to the dismay of BR!Skate and BR!Boom]. BR!Skateboard maybe being some kind of like... Soldier or something and BR!Boom could possibly be an engineer of some kind... TD!Subspace I like to think is more like... Magic than science, he's known for making poisons and such too. He used his magic to make Biografts out of various types of natural materials [Woods, stones, etc etc]. Haven't thought of anything for Hyper unfortunately. I am spitballin' here and I would genuinely love any comments or possibly ideas tossed at me. [Also hi Prism I apologize for this LONG ASS post please forgive me] - @simply-windy

When I’m gone

The trees of thieves den were at their full bloom. Petals had shed off the branches and slowly trickled to the ground. A bed of pinks and white coated the warm sun-soaked grass. One of these petals landed on a demon’s head. She was watering the flowers around and showing another how to pick weeds from the trees.

“You seem to be getting the hang of it dear. Next time you won’t need my assistance.” She smiled pleased with the work that they’re doing. Like a tutor she watched them practice all on their own. One by one each weed was methodically plucked away till there were none left. An extra glance was taken to make sure the premise was clean. When the deed was done she rewarded them with a pat on the back.

“Eheh… thanks.” They smile back at her.

“Oh no need to thank me sweetie. I should be thanking you for coming. Your dedication means everything to me dear.” She twisted a flower into their hair by their horn.

“In fact I didn’t think you would come, but it warms my heart every time you arrive.” The other demon looked shocked.

“Why wouldn’t I?! I care about you Vine! You’re like… one of the sweetest demons I know.” They pouted.

“I figured you’d be busy with your cafe. I know how much it means to you, and I’m here to support your dream. How is it holding up right now dear?”

“Pretty slow but it’s to be expected. At least it isn’t as crazy as it was during the Phestival. That was a nightmare!” They chuckled.

“Ah I remember that week, you had to call all of us, even Katana. Everyone looked so lovely in those uniform and you even let me do your hair. You were stunning.” Vinestaff combed a hand through their hair. She twisted the strands between her fingers and looked to them.

“May I?”

“Go ahead.” With the ok, she gets to work first combing out the knots.

“You know Slingshot, your hair is so pretty. Why don’t you do anything with it darling?”

“Well I’ve always been ok with keeping it straight. Didn’t see a need to do anything fancy. I don’t go anywhere like that.” Vinestaff shook her head at them.

“Silly you don’t need to have a reason to do your hair. Don’t you feel nice when it’s braided up?”

“I do…”

“Maybe I could teach you that too if you desire.” Slingshot perked up.

“Really?!”

“Of course dear.” She watched as Slingshot’s smile grew wider from excitement. They kicked their legs slightly. “Try not to move to much darling, I don’t want to pull your hair.”

“Right! Sorry!” They piped down a little, traces of their excitement still showed from their tail swishing. Vinestaff started to braid their hair.

“How does the arm feel?”

“Same as always dear.”

“Mm…” Slingshot sulked, the hunching from this caught Vinestaff’s attention.

“Is something the matter?”

“..I just… I wish we could do something about that. Isn’t it awful?”

“Slingshot my dear, there is no need. As bad as this may be it is quite the blessing you know?”

“How? You’re cursed for life. In fact you’re robbed of your life. How can you be ok with that?!” Slingshot’s voice cracks as anxiety starts to well in their chest. Thoughts of the “what ifs” and “if onlys” pile onto each other. Maybe if they work hard enough they could pay the finest doctor in crossroads to fix this. Maybe that medic in lost temple would know a thing or two. Maybe they can find a cure. But the wood has noticeably increased, now encompassing Vinestaff’s entire arm. Sometimes a few flowers would bloom on it, wilting away as the fall came. She’s wilting. How much time is left until there’s nothing of her. Where will it go to next. Why did it have to be her of all people. And…

“It’s ok.” A hand cups their cheek gently. The thumb strokes away at little droplets as they form and trickle down. “There is beauty in this pain. Look at the things I can do dear, one could only dream of having this. It’s a gift from the world. I pour my soul into giving back to the place I call home. My life may be shorter, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.” She guided Slingshot to lean on her shoulder,her arm extending behind their back to support them. “And one day my body will be gone. I’m not sure when, but that is not my concern either. In the end, I know I will always be with here. I live on in your memories.” She stared out in front of her. The sun lowered, its golden rays spilled onto the valley below. Little mammals began to scurry into their burrows as the low buzz of cicadas picked up. “When I go, I want to lay here. I want to be able to see the land that has graced me with this life. And when I’m gone, don’t forget about the weeds. Maybe you can teach Shuriken for me. Will you dear?” Slingshot nodded their head. Their breathing slowed considerably to a calm and steady pace.

“Don’t dwell on it dear. I’m still here with you now. So why don’t we cherish it while it lasts?”
