It was the day after midterm exams, and Hizashi was still pretty pissed about having lost against his students. All of the teachers made fun about of fear of bugs, calling him a shame of a hero.

“This little brats…” he mumbled while kicking a stone out of the way. “I had spiders in my beautiful hair for hours and one beetle bit my toe in the midst of class.” After school, he didn’t even have time to relax, having some stuff for his radio channel to do. This day really was no fun.

He just wanted to see you. You already knew that he felt pretty down since he wrote you many texts today, telling you how much he misses you and how much he wants to punch that mischievous grin out of Aizawa’s face. So instead of walking home and falling into the bed like he intended to firstly, he headed for your home. When he stood in front of your house, he realized all the lights were off. “Weird, [___] is usually already home this late in the evening.”

When he opened the door, everything was dark and lighted with candles. He expected some “sexy surprise” for him, yet he wasn’t really in the mood. He rather wanted to let off some steam and talk to you about his shitty day.

But suddenly, you came out of the bedroom, standing at the end of the hall - dressed in a bathrobe, your face covered. As walked at his direction, you pressed the “Play”-Button on the CD-player you prepared. “Duel of the Fates” started playing. “Babe?”

You got a toy-lightsaber out of your sleeve. After powering it, it covered the room in a red light. “At last, you’ve arrived” you said with a serious voice, “I’ve been waiting, Jedi scum.” “Oh.My.God.” You threw a blue light-saber at his direction, stating “Just so it’ll be an even match. And now: Die!”

Hizashi almost exploded out of exitement, immediately participating. “Oh god babe I love you so much!” “I don’t know who this “babe” is!” you said, as you tried your best to remain serious. “Of course. A Yedi master I am. Easy for you it won’t be” he snorted. Starting to battle like madman, the two of you would knock over a vase or two, but you didn’t care in the heat of the moment. The two of you made many weird moves, trying to mimic Star Wars fights, while laughing your asses off the whole time.

Mic was pretty fast, of course. He’s a pro hero, after all. Yet he went easy on you. After you accomplished to his head a few times, he just got fired up more. But he didn’t want to accidentally hurt you, so he’d just poke your stomach a bit. Then, jumping onto the couch, he yelled “It’s over babe, I have the high ground!”

You just stood in front of him, unimpressed, while firmly holding your laser sword. “Don’t underestemate my power!” you yelled, an evil grin showing up on your face. With a powerful smack to his ankles, you made the overconfident Hizashi lose his balance and fall to the ground. When he tried to get up again, you tackled him and pushed him down with your own weight. Sitting on his hips while confidently crossing your arms, you teased: “Now who has the high ground?”

“Oh, are you flirting with me?” he smiled, while pulling you down to him, kissing you intensive. “Up I give. Anything you want you can do with me.” You bit your lip, your voice changing it’s tone to a rather seductive one. “Oh? I’ve got an idea how to punish you, Yedi scum” you mumble while taking off the bathrobe and revealing that you’re only wearing fine lingerine under it. “I might pass out from such beauty, I think. Hmmmmm” he babbled with a dumb, lovestruck grin on his face. “Don’t talk to much. You need your strenght for what’s to come.”

A few hours later and still lying on the floor (this time without any clothes) Hizashi and you crawled into bed after stopping being out of breath. “Babe, you’re amazing.” You smile, rubbing your nose against his. “I love you too, ‘Zashi.” He leaps towards you as he hugs you firmly, enjoying the feeling of your skin onto his. “I want to marry you.”

“Don’t be ridiculous” you mumble, almost falling asleep. “I mean it! You’re the best partner in the world! Who else would come up with such a thing? We’re soulmates or something!” Suddenly your heart stopped for a second, but you tried to keep playing it cool. “So you want to marry me bcause I play Star Wars with you?”

“No. Because you make me happy like no other could! I had the shittiest day, but you turned it into the best in no time!” he states, rubbing his cheek against yours. Goddang it, he’s so cute when he wants. ��How do I deserve such a wonderful partner? I’m never letting go of you.” “Hizashi, I can’t breath” you gasp. “I’m only letting go when I get an answer.”

“The answer obvious it is. Jar Jar loves you, Hizashi” you giggled. With this answer, he tried to kick you out of the bed. “There are borders not meant to be crossed, babe. Total mood killer.”

“You goddarn idiot! Stop it, Hizashi!” “We are still totally going to marry but you have to think about what you just said. I only do this because I love you!”

Some people seem a bit confused as to what I'm talking about. There's apparently more than one Tiny Heist, so that's 100% on me. ^__^;;

The Tiny Heist that I'm talking about is a new mini series on Dropout's show, Dimension 20.

Dropout is College Humor's streaming channel. You can get a free seven day trial. (I'm going to stay subscribed longer, because there are other shows I want to watch now!)

Dimension 20 is a show where a bunch of guests play tabletop RPGs of different sorts.

I have to admit, when I first heard the concept of listening to someone else play DnD, I did NOT understand the appeal. I thought, what's the point if you're not the one playing? If you feel the same, please give me a few moments to convince you to give this a try.

1: The game master, Brennan Lee Mulligan, is incredibly charming, clever, and will go ALL OUT when acting the various NPCs. He brings an energy to the production that really keeps your attention. I've only heard him in two shows so far, Tiny Heist and Dadlands (an Adventure Zone live show where he was a guest DM) but both times he's been wonderful! And I really look forward to seeing him in more shows.

2: The McElroy family (three brothers and their father) are accomplished comedians who have had several years of experience writing and playing RPGs specifically for a listening audience. They know how to weave a compelling narrative and keep you laughing along the way, without getting bogged down in the kind of DnD minutiae that might otherwise make for difficult *coughtorturouscough* listening.

3: The setting and characters are just *chefs kiss*

There are Moochers and Stewards (non copywritten versions of Borrowers). Moochers live a difficult life outside. Stewards are elitist innies who seem to be keeping the Moochers out so they can continue to live in comfort.

There's two Moocher player characters. Bean, a monk/scavenger whose home in the compost heap has recently been destroyed. He makes friends with the human child in the first scene. It is adorable and heartwarming. ;w;

And Ti-83, a tech savvy girl who lives with her tribe in the community center tech drawer. She loves explosions. The scene where these two characters meet is honestly the best thing I've ever heard. I can't spoil it, but it's amazing. XD

There are also fairies. We don't know as much about them as a society, since there is only one fairy character. But Agnes is this upper middle aged woman who runs a casino, wears pink leopard skin pants, has a fanny pack with fairy dust in it, is constantly smoking, and often dabbles in crime. What is not to love about that???

There are living toys, which come to life either through the love of a child, or by being exposed to fairy dust. There is a noble Car-Mo-Bot (transformer) named Car-Go Jones, who is dedicated to saving his owner from some sort of sinister plot masterminded by a Borrower crime lord named Flick. (We don't know what the danger is yet. There is only one episode up)

And a Clicko-man (lego) named Rick Diggins, who spent two years stuck between car seats, and has become somewhat jaded by the experience (hmm, sounds familiar) He has multiple different outfits and personalities, four out of five of which are in debt to a bug crime boss named Garbanzo Bugless.

Does your favorite uncle have any children? Yeah; he has one son and a daughter. If you want children, what are some of your reasons for wanting them? I don't. I'm selfish with my alone time, and I want to live for me. I don't want to essentially hand over my life for someone else, give my all for them, and then I wind up not being enough. I don't want the financial burden. I don't want to be responsible for another human being. There are so, so many reasons I don't want kids. Does a career in finance sound interesting to you? Noooot at all. When you cook a dish that has beans in it, do you prefer to use canned or dry beans? I don't cook, but you also wouldn't catch me dead cooking beans. After finishing a bowl of cereal, do you drink the leftover milk? No. What’s something that’s been bothering you lately? I've been pushing it to the back of my mind to avoid panicking, so I probably shouldn't even talk about it, but I worry quite a bit that Girt will eventually leave me because of me not being "adult" enough, like having a job, a car, knowing how to do basic adult stuff... you know. I don't feel like he will, given just how devoutly he's been by my side since HS, and especially now that we're together, I'm working harder towards those goals, but still. I worry it'll happen. Just today actually I got a phone call about some genetic testing I had done to see if I carried the malfunctioning gene my mother has that makes her more prone to certain types of cancer. My sisters and I all got tested, and all three of us are good! Our pancreatic, breast, and ovarian cancer risks are the same as your average person walking down the street. Would you hug your bf/gf’s best friend? I don't know his best friend. I don't think I would upon just meeting him, though. Who was the last person in your family to have a baby? My older sister. Would your parents be okay with you dating someone of another race? Mom wouldn't care less, while I don't really know about my dad. Not that it would matter what he thought. I really, really love him. It's funny how wildly my emotions flipped from platonic to romantic with him just by giving it some deep thought. How close are you to the last person you hung out with? Can you be your complete self around them? We're very close, and yes. I'm still extremely shy for him to know some things, but ultimately, I'd tell him a whole lot. I don't believe I've ever fallen asleep in one, but I definitely used to just chill out and close my eyes on the one we used to have at my old place, under the shade of the trees.
