..... cute post cancelled, something went bump downstairs and they decided to scream

(im mostly jk but jesus fuck, 2 dachshunds and a beagle are not bedtime sounds at all)

im watching my sister's 3 dogs right now for two ish weeks and we're finally settled into some sort of routine. they follow me down the stairs in the morning, wait impatiently for their meals, snuggle on the couch when im not busy, settle into bed with me easier each night. we're working it out, yknow?

as soon as i we settle into this routine, they're headed home. and that's fine obviously, my sister loves them more than life itself, but i like the little thing we have going. its sweet

but i guess what im getting at is that i tend to resent learning and adapting to new people and routines because all i can think about is how as soon as i get comfortable, they change. people have to leave, routines have to be redone, life goes on. and i do too, but with less and less to steady myself
