There is so much going on on Twitter - the costume debate: what does it look like? Reports say that Yuzu is wearing an asymmetrical shirt, one side sleeveless, one side black lace and a red scarf. The costume being red-black. Okaaaay. And the TL is going crazy with sketches of how the costume might look like. I love it!

But the TL EXPLODES when reports come about Yuzu's shenanigans. He, once more, did a lot of fan service, by blowing kisses to the audience, lifting his shirt, being his charismatic and chaotic self during the OP. Because how would he otherwise be THE Yuzuru Hanyu? And this all before Yuzu's new EX is revealed.

We'll die until next week without photos and videos - though there have been a couple of small cameras spotted, so maybe there'll be at least one news coverage to give us a hint of what to expect in Shizuoka. Which, btw, will do its job WELL to deliver us all 3 day performances. And praise to Makuhari, too, for doing the same thing!

TL went quiet again. I don't even know how far into the 2nd half of the show they are. I lost track of time. I'm just waiting impatiently for updates.

First news of Yuzu's EX costume: black on one side, white on the other. What is this?!!?!? Gradient: White to purple to black. Confusion: is it white and purple, white-purple-black, no clear info yet. White pants?! This is getting more confusing by the minute.

So, he twisted around while lying on the ice, he did besti squats, he did some hip movements, Twitter's auto-translate spit out multiple times the word 'dangerous' (like this is dangerous for us), rolling up a sleeve or something - boy, he's going to kill us AGAIN!

Right, so he went full wild again with the new EX (which song I cannot exactly pinpoint because reports vary). We will be in for a new kind of treat in Shizuoka!!

👻🎃HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN🎃👻 . Day 16 (slightly early) October 31, 2009 . In ‘09 the Chibi had really gotten into Suikoden V and wanted to be Prince Freyjadour Falenas, so I, as always provided. After combing through all the characters, I decided to tackle Queen Arshtat since I thought it would be novel to be the mom of the character in cosplay while being the actual mom of the Chibi cosplaying. Plus, I just liked Arshtat’s outfit and wanted to give it a go. Problem was that we had a lotttttt of stuff going on that year, issues in the marriage, the ex getting himself fired from his job on purpose, us losing half our income, dramus all around and I grossly, and I do mean grossly, underestimated the sheer amount of details in both our costumes and the time in which I would need for them. Got the Chibi’s done, including all the leatherwork I did for it (the breast plate, gauntlets and shoe tops were hand tooled and painted leather), and the hand bleaching and gradient dying of her scarf -save me having to ghetto up her mitts a little because lack of time, but mine. Mine was another story. I managed to get the main body of it done, and while I started the crown (scroll for deets, last couple of pics are all the in progress shots, mainly of the crown), I ran out of time to finish it, my wig, and the front belts to my dress -despite staying up for weeks/days on end, including the entire night before Halloween and literally getting zero sleep on the actual day. So I defaulted on using my Yuna wig, sans the tail (I got a lot of use out of that wig, lol), and called it good because I had no other choice but to. I was so tired that day, my glob. At least I (mostly) finished the Chibi’s? One of these days we plan to revisit this cosplay set since we still have them, just as I still have what progress I did of the crown so maybe then I can finally finish my Arshtat and will be able to call it complete.
