congrats on finishing all the routes (and hats off, as someone who played them all back-to-back from the prologue for every run, I know how exhausting that can be)--what were your favorite songs if you had any? (I know God Shattering Star is a fan-favorite and I do love it a lot, but honestly I love Funeral of Flowers the best despite SS being very eh for me). And who ended up being some of your strongest units (any run)?

Definitely most of the timeskip music. Barring God-Shattering Star, Chasing Daybreak, The Long Road and Indomitable Will are peak. Funeral of Flowers is great too! and pretty much the only saving grace of the SS ending

As for strongest units, well... I turned my Bernadetta in the BE routes into a complete monster, a Falcon Knight with a Vengeance + Vantage & Wrath, making her a nigh-unstoppable murder machine that I used to violently assassinate people and end maps super fast. Pretty much her only weaknesses were crit-immune enemies and attacks out of her range (that you could always patch up with Retribution so). By far my strongest unit in CF and still helped quite a bit the times she got pulled out of retirement in SS. I affectionately dubbed her the Bern Reaper. Even gave her the Crescent Sickles too, so😂

Seteth filled a similar niche of "Not just kill but murder the boss so I don't have to play the map" in Part 2 of Silver Snow, since I mainly used the Church stuff for that one. Plus Dorothea as a Dancer and the Bern Reaper for additional carnage.

Late Night Rambles With Fandomtastic023!

Ok so before we get on with the Rambles I realized that these are literally head canons I have in my head for some reason ok let's get started!:

Ok so I have this idea the Sean and Signe live with all of jacks egos in the same house they all have physical forms! Except of course Anti who inhabits the probably loud and bright mind space that is jacks mind! But anyway what if like one night they are all sitting on the couch just playing overwatch taking turns and anti is sitting in jacks mind starting to get pissed off cause it's been forever since he's taken over jacks body so he decides to have a little fun one round and jump in to join the fun that is Overwatch so jack gets the controller in hand and chooses Reaper to play as and while he's playing Antis sitting in his mind waiting for him to use the ultimate so he can play, then it finally happens Reapers ultimate has fully charged he's in the midst of the battle when Anti takes over! Jacks clothes change to black immediately his eyes are enveloped in black and a gash opens on his throat, he activates Reapers main joining Reaper in saying "DIE, DIE, DIE!" With heavy distortion in his voice Signe turns her head to see his slit throats and practically jumps screaming which in turn causes everyone to turn to see what she screamed at thinking it was a spider or something only to be greeted with the sadistic grin of Antisepticeye the round is won and as the round is won everyone else screams at Anti and he just fucking laughs while everyone is staring at the bloody gash in his neck. Eventually everyone calms down and meanwhile Signe is panicking cause she forgot Anti existed for awhile mostly because he hardly shows up due to being in Sean's mind all the time so while chase and Marvin are comfort wing her schneep and Jackie are looking at Anti like they are ready to murder him to which he respondes with "hey can't I have my fun too!, it was only a bonus to see all of you scream like little girls. To which at Thai point Signe has calmed down and she calmly gets up walks up to Anti who is giggling his ass off and she smacks him across the face grabs the collar of his t-shirt stares him dead in his jet black eyes and very sternly says "Antisepticeye if you ever and I mean EVER scare me like that again I will personally force you out of Sean's mind and smack some more sense into you! Do you understand me?!" Anti now filled with fear due to this tiny anger ball shakes his head yes very fast "good now that you've had your fun give me back my boyfriend and his body and you had better no come out with out warning again unless it's for a video even then you have Sean tell just in case." Anti retreated back into jacks mind and regained his control only to hear Anti say to him "jaysus jackaboy you've got yer self a nice girl" he then respondes with "I know" and they finish for that night know who truely is the scariest person in the house, Signe the tiny anger ball!.

Hope this made u guys happy my hands asleep it's 11:15 at night my neck has bern stiff all day and I should probably go fix that. But I hope u guys enjoyed I know I turned in to a bit of a short story by hey it moved nicely let me know what u guys think I love hearing your responses to this type of stuff!. Also holy shit this is long!

alkdjaslkdaj I meant to send you prompts for the Character Ask game and them promptly forgot until I found said ask game saved in my drafts, anyhow, if you're still up for it 12, 15, 21, 26 for Bernadetta and/or Rhea?

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Bernie: She is malnourished as a combination of both her abusive upbringing (can definitely picture her father having her skip meals for "misbehaving" or Adrestia in general being fatphobic), and also her massive anxiety messing with her stomach.

Rhea: Barring the ones everyone lowkey accepts as canon like "her and Seteth are siblings", I really like the idea that since family is the most important thing to her and her mother was perfect (in her eyes at least), the concept of abusive families is something she straight up can't process.

Not in the sense she doesn't know or refuses to believe they don't exist (she isn't stupid), but in the sense that the idea of family members not only not standing by each other but outright hurting each other is straight up unthinkable, so whenever she hears about or witnesses it makes her blood boil like few other things do.

15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)

Bernie: Don't have one, to be honest. None of the ships I found involving her gave me that spark, you know?

Rhea: Catherine, but even them I don't ship them that strongly. I just thing it's cute, but most of the relationships involving Rhea that I love are platonical so...

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

Bernie: Treating her with the respect she deserved is definitely a big one, but also in general trying to have my own spin on her! (As in, I'm trying to both give her a break but also treat her like an "adult")

Rhea: Honestly just writing her PoV when she's constantly shoved to the side in her games is such a delight, especially trying to nail and include everything that make her such a wonderful, complex character!

As for something I don't like... I always feel self-conscious about her inner thoughts being too angsty, like I'm overcompensating or it's just her beating herself up for whole paragraphs.

26. What's something the character has done you can't get over? Be it something funny, bad, good, serious, whatever?

Bernie: If we're talking gameplay, definitely the Bern Reaper. It was this busted Wyvern Vengeance build that carried me through Crimson Flower and even a bit of Silver Snow. You don't fuck with the Bern Reaper.

But as for her as a character, hmm. Strangely enough I can't find an answer and that's mainly because most of Bernie's "iconic" moments are things that happen to her, not the other way around

Rhea: Oh, definitely the weed quest. Ironically I think it's arguably the thing that captures her character the best, between her desire to help, the awkwardness, her general knowledge of her students in distress coupled with the fact she asks Byleth to give it to them instead.

Also, you know. Weed pope.
