i think what’s so interesting abt robert pattinsons take on bruce wayne and the whole « which is the real mask » debate is that he anchors bruce and batman so deeply yes in grief and privilege but also sheer embarrassment. he’s so embarrassed about everything. ashamed of his zeal. and his tragedy and his name and how obvious it is that everything he does is to escape all that. his whole purpose becomes « i will make myself unknowable through violence and fear so i don’t need to accept what happened to me! » it’s profoundly humiliating for him. so when edward is like « you showed me all it takes is fear and a little focused violence you inspired me! » that shit is like a punch to the gut to bruce because no matter what despite the kevlar despite the terror he inflicts despite it all he’s still being read for filth like the public safety threat he is. the embarrassment at being known runs so deep that he can’t even escape it in the cowl. yayyy <3

Hi everyone! I decided to clean up some of my older drawings to make into some Homelander stickers. It was something different I thought I'd try as a little side project, but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out!

And if anyone has anything else of mine that they'd like to see on my store, feel free to let me know! I'm thinking about possibly doing more than just stickers, like art prints or shirts. Maybe in the future. ;w;

They end up doing a big group trip to a shooting range for Doug and Everett's joint bachelor party, before they plan on then splitting up for the night into separate groups (Spoiler: they're all saps and end up meeting back up after like an hour out at separate bars).

Bucky is... very good, what with the military firearm training. He’s never actually had to use a gun in combat, being a pilot and all, and for obvious reasons chooses not to keep one in the house now, but he's still properly licenced and does the minimal certification needed every now and again to keep it up. Mainly because it's fun and he actually just enjoys shooting as a sport/outlet.

So he's definitely showing off a bit lmao.

It… Awakens something in Gale that he didn't know was there.

And that, frankly, he’s shocked @ with how at odds it is to his morals and ethics.

He’s trying not to stare; tries to have a little decorum. But keeps failing spectacularly lol.

Whether it's the pure competency of it all and Bucky displaying how talented he is, the wide-legged stance, the hint of perspiration in the baking summer afternoon heat he could see making John’s hair curl at the edges and dampness start gathering under his arms, the rock-solid, still as stone precision-filled aim, his broad hands wrapped around the grip, finger on the trigger, the power in it......

Bucky'd thought nothing of it when Gale quietly excused himself from the group for a second, and contently turned back around after following the other man off the range, just as Howie and Curt stood up to the plate for a head-to-head contest.

Not three minutes later though...

[15:38] Buck ❤️: Can you come here a sec? I'm in the bathroom just inside the main entrance.

His eyebrows furrow and he goes immediately, worrying all the way inside about what help Gale could possibly need that Bucky could actually imagine him readily admitting to.

The bathrooms are individual little self-contained stalls. When he knocks on the door of the one closest to the entrance, he's caught off-guard a little when Gale opens it, wide-eyed and red-cheeked, a little sweaty around the temples.

"Ah, shit - your face catchin' the sun a bit? Looks like it's starting to burn-" he says as he's promptly ushered inside, has the door locked swiftly behind them, and then is practically pounced upon. Gale’s lips slam into his with a fervent desperation, pulling a startled squeak out of John's throat as he rushes to keep up.

"Can we talk about that title for a second? Who came up with that?" "Well, the guy who flipped the fuckin truck forwards!"

I'm completely obsessed with and emo over the way Wilhelm carries himself now that he knows Simon loves him, too.

(just a sidenote, but the duality of love and devotion towards Simon on one side and revolt and confident deviance towards everyone watching him, including us on the other.... these frames make me unwell...)

Like, that's absolutely the stance and face (and smile) of someone who's done with putting his own and his boyfriend's (!!!) needs behind those of the people who never cared about what he actually wanted.

Knowing him and Simon are on the same page now, finally, really is all he needs to face off against the consequences of living authentically and openly. He knows that together, they'll be fine.

I'd like to think his resistance is starting here already, facing off Jan-Olof with this stare and not pulling away as fast as Simon - who after all just offered to be Wilhelm's secret - is.

It's so beautiful to see how much this has done for him in the S3 snippet. I feel like it's the first time he's moving like he's not a stranger on his own home anymore, like he's now commanding the place, like he's finally calling the shots. Sure, there are and there will be adversities (“I just wish it wasn't because of this”), but Wilhelm won't let them get in the way of him and Simon loving and supporting each other.

“They won't start without us” He knows it's true and really isn't giving a fuck anymore who might get mad at them, he knows that they won't be able to play this down, make him deny everything again, they can't take back his confession in front of every single phone in all of Hillerska, and he won't let them try to, either. He's ready to fight, that revolution they started back in season 1 is now really picking up, and they're in it together.

And god, it looks like it's healing him so much, he's so confident now, Simon by his side really gave him the strength he needed.

Like, the journey from the way he's desperately holding on to him at the confession, seemingly drinking it all in, those words he probably hasn't even dared dreaming of hearing from Simon and do taken aback by his emotions to the way he exudes confidence, strength, and conviction even in the face of adversity... the development is so beautiful.

The combination of love and confidence is one hell of a drug, and Wilhelm gets both from and through Simon... I'm convinced they are going to be one hell of a power couple this next season.

i drew yuhua in his post-ob look bc this look is peak whimsy and class. even though he normally wears muted/greyscale colors. he’s having so much fun and he quite likes this energy <3 whether it’s chattin with friends or getting SOAKED during the good ol water balloon fight

also yeah. basically everyone here has had minor adjustments to their hair, mostly getting it out of their faces some LOL. figured it's about time they get even just a bit of variation hehehehe
