Seto was playing with the children earlier, and now his tie is askew. You follow him as he heads toward the stage and grab his arm. "Let me fix your tie." You pull him off to the side.

The tie hangs loose and part of it has gotten stuck in his jacket. You reach for the knot with one hand and hold the tongue with your other. It only takes a moment to readjust and tighten it. Then you tuck it in properly.

He places his hands over yours, holding them to his chest. When you look up, the expression on his face is serious, hungry.

He would kiss you if you weren't in a crowded room. You can see the desire in his eyes. You drop your eyes down to his chest. It's hard to look directly at him when his gaze is so intense.

"Maybe next year we can spend New Year's Eve alone?" you suggest.

"It would be preferable to this."

You flatten your palms against his chest as releases your hands. Under the guise of pretending to straighten his shirt, you let your hands run over his broad chest, feeling his muscles through his shirt.

You look back up. His desire is still plain to see. It makes your heart beat faster knowing he wants to grab you and kiss you.

His hand cups your cheek. "I want you to be the first thing I see in the new year."

❥ Pharaoh Atem

Normally, it was custom for the Pharaoh and his spouse to sleep in separate bedrooms. This allowed them both down time after being in the public eye all day. As much as you loved your husband, you needed this time away, even if it was to just rest.

After your servants helped you undress and get ready for bed, you were left alone with your thoughts. Although, you were so exhausted you just wanted to sleep. You'd be up and at 'em again in the morning.

You hadn't even realized you fell asleep until a loud boom woke you, practically shaking your room. Sitting up immediately, your heart beginning to thump rapidly in your chest, you opened your mouth to yell for anyone who was still awake.

"Guards! Guards!"

Almost immediately, a couple of the many palace guards entered the room, all three being armed. "Your majesty, are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"I'm-" You were interrupted by another loud boom. You screamed and shut your eyes. "Fetch my husband! Please!"

"Right away, your majesty!" The three left the room to get their king from his room.

Soon, Atem strode in swiftly, and the sight before him broke his heart. His spouse, curled up in a tight ball on their bed, scared out of their mind. He quickly approached them, and gathered his (Y/n) into his arms. "There, there...I'm here, my love. What's gotten you so afraid?"

Clinging onto him almost immediately, you answered, "The storm...I wasn't expecting it..."

"Oh, my love..." Atem gently moved a strand of hair out of your face. "It is only a storm, it will pass."

"No, Atem...I have always been afraid of them. Since I was a child." You shook your head, moving away slightly to look at him.

"Is there any way I can help you with this fear?" He asks, voice soft and kind, as always, and his hand gently rubbing your arm. "I can try to cover your ears, but I'm afraid my hands do nothing compared to the might of Set."

Atem adds a small giggle to the end of his last remark, showing you that he was kidding. It makes you giggle too. "Oh, Atem...how I love you so."

Another boom flows through the sky outside, making you jump and scream, scaring Atem for a moment. He tightens his hold to try and calm you. "My (Y/n), it's okay. As long as I am here, I will protect you. Set will not harm us."

"How can you say for sure?" Your voice shook with fear. "Set is a fearsome God, Atem...have you forgotten all of his stories?"

"Set would not harm the royal family, he protected my father during his reign, and his father before him, and his father, and so on." Atem then gave his spouse a smile. "We are safe. But, if you still feel scared, I can stay with you throughout the night."

You nod. "I...would like that very much."

Atem nods, then moves your head rest out of the way so you both lay on the bed, your face in his chest. "Is this okay?"

You nod again, then yelp and jump closer when another boom rings in the room. Atem thought for a moment. "There is one story that comes to mind about Set. You recall how Anubis killed him, yes?"

You nod. Atem carries on.

"Well, after going into the afterlife, Set had begun to do good things. My father once told me a story about how Set travels with Ra on his nightly trip to the underworld, and Set helps him battle the fearsome Apophis."

You focus in on what your husband is saying. The warmth of his arms around you and his body being pressed to yours, the softness of his voice as he tells a story passed down through generations, and suddenly you find yourself falling asleep once more.

"...and now, when people hear thunder, they are reminded that Ra is engaging in an epic battle, with Set by his side." Atem finishes not too long after, waiting for a response. When he doesn't get one, he looks down to see you've finally fallen back asleep, and the thunder seems to have gotten quieter. Set was moving away, possibly sensing the Pharaoh's spouses discomfort.

Sighing softly to himself, Atem placed a kiss on your forehead and taking in the peaceful look on your face, before finally falling asleep himself. Screw the rules, he's the Pharaoh.

❥ Seto Kaiba

It was after hours at KaibaCorp, and Seto was still at his desk like usual. You, having finished work three hours ago, stopped by to try to coax him back to the house so that he could get some sleep. Of course, he didn't budge. Like usual. Knowing you were going to be sitting here for hours, you opted to order some dinner for the two of you.

"What about Mokuba? Where is he?" You asked Seto before ordering the food.

"He's with Yugi, he wanted to attend one of his game nights." Seto spoke without moving his eyes away from the screen.

After getting said food, you had noticed dark clouds rolling across the sky, with flashes of light in between the angry clouds. Clenching your jaw as your anxiety spikes, you quickly move back to your car and sped (as legally as you could) back to KaibaCorp.

When you got back to Seto's office with the food, he hadn't noticed your anxiety yet, or the rapidly approaching thunderstorm. You plopped the food down and curled up on the couch. Reaching over, you took out your food and begin to numbly eat it while scrolling through your phone, tensing as you start to prepare for the first sound of thunder.

Soon the storm begins, first with a flash of lightning, and then a loud boom soon after. You jump, dropping your fork. That gets Seto to look up as it makes a muffled thump against the ground. "...you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." You nod, going to pick up the fork from under the table. Another flash and boom sounded, making you jump and hit your head on the table.

Reeling back, you grimaced and held your head, and Seto moved over to you. "Are you sure?"

“I…” You sighed. “No. It’s the storm, I’m…scared.”

Seto didn’t do anything for a moment before sighing and pulling you back up on the couch. “I suppose I can stop for the day.”

“What? No, Seto, your work is important. Don’t-“

“Hush.” Seto tapped some more on his keyboard before shutting it, and moving over to you. “Mind if I sit here?”

He gave you a small smirk that makes your heart stutter. You nod and he sits down. Thunder sounds around you both, and you jump into Seto’s side. His heart warmed as you came to him for protection. He put a hand around you.

“It’s okay. No storm will hurt you with me here.”

You resisted the urge to cringe slightly. You loved your boyfriend, but sometimes he can say the weirdest things. “Thanks, hon…”

Seto’s grip tightened, then he leaned over to grab his food, and then grabbed your fork from the ground. “You can share my fork.”

“Thank you.”

Seto ate with one hand, his other hand around you. You watched him eat for a moment before he wordlessly offered a bite to you. You took the bite, then looked to the windows as rain began to pour down.

“It’s okay, we’re inside. Nothing can harm us.” Seto reassured.

“I know, just…” You sigh. “I’m sorry, I know this is probably childish…”

“Is that why you never told me about this before?" Seto asks, taking another bite of his food.

"...kind of." You then jump as lightning flashes and thunder rolls loudly in the sky. "Although, I guess you would've found out one way or another..."

Seto nods, setting the fork down. "Well, I don't think it's childish. People have fears, always have and always will. It isn't something childish or new."

You nod, sinking into his side a little, jumping and yelping a little when thunder sounded again. Seto leaned back into the couch and moved you into his lap, one hand on your head as he cradled it against his chest. His other hand rested on your thigh.

"Is there anything I could do to help?" Seto asks, his hand that's on your thigh begins to massage it, and the hand on your head gently scratches your scalp.

You begin to relax, but tense up again as you see lightning light up the room again. Seto's repeated movements are accompanied by a kiss on the forehead. You focus back on him.

"This is fine...thank you." You move your face slightly, so that it's in his chest.

Seto hums, and you can feel the reverb. It feels nice. It feels warm, and safe. You still tense and jump at thunder and lightning, but Seto's hands help you settle down enough. He occasionally plants kisses on your forehead or cheek, and makes small talk to try and distract you. Before you know it, the storm clears and the thunder begins to sound distant, the lightning becoming less frequent.

"Seems the storm is going away. Should we get ready to go home?" Seto asks, looking out of the many big windows, then back to you.

"In a minute." You mumble, snuggling into Seto's chest. "Right now I'm enjoying myself."

Seto cracks a smile. "Was this your plan?"

"No, but I'll take the outcome." You smile, making Seto let out a small chuckle before tightening his hold on you.

Genres: Character Discovers Reader and Reader's Child (Warning⚠️: A Short Lived Affair and Mentions of pregnancy)

When Seto Kaiba first met you, it was during the Battle City tournament. He watched you dual against another duelist and not only he thought your beautiful, however he believes that you're an amazing duelist. So, after you defeated another duelist in a dual and he defeated his opponent in a duel, he had a chat with you about his first impression of you and how much an amazing dualist you are. You thanked him and admitted that you've been a fan of him for a long time.

Later that night the both of you realized despite of different backgrounds and upbringings, you both have alot in common and felt close to eachother right away, especially to the point of the both had a passionate affair (which neither of you were aware would be short lived). Next day, you lost a duel against an opponent who obviously more cunning and a total jerk. Hours later after he won his duel against his other opponent he defeated, he went to look for you, then overheard security guards talking to eachother that you seem to feel sick where you had to go to a hospital, then you would have to go straight to your home after you get your discharge from the hospital.

Kaiba was torn to overhear what was happening to you. He knows it's too early for him to feel like he dies, however aside from his younger brother, Mokuba, you're the first person he has ever cared about and has been precious to him otherwise, so he vowed for revenge against the duelist who was a total jerk to you and extremely cunning at you and to find you, someday... No matter what it takes!

A few years after Kaiba defeated the duelist vowed for revenge against, he went to the mall, as he began to realize that his search for you was over. However when he finally saw you again, he also saw this child who has a very similar face, as him. He asked you some questions about how you've been and talked to you about how bad he felt for you, and other stuff he talked to you about, then he asked, "Anyways, (female reader name)... Am I the father of your child?". You then happily replied, "Ofcourse Kaiba... This is your child (reader's choice of her child's name)... I really wanted to tell you about (him/her), so after our (son/daughter) was born, I took him with me and searched for you for a long time... I take it you were searching for me, as well?". You then turned your child and told (him/her), "(reader's choice of her child's name)... This your father, Seto Kaiba... Your father is a very nice man who has been very nice to mommy... Since, we all found eachother, everything will be alright now..."

The next thing that happened was Kaiba said, "That day you lost your duel, I overheard security guards talking about you needing to go to the hospital, because you seem sick, then you have to go straight home after you get discharged from the hospital. I take it the pregnancy was the reason why you seemed to not feel well?". You replied, "I believe so... The doctor and nurse asked me to take a pregnancy test after they couldn't find out why I wasn't feeling well, for safety reasons, then I found out I was pregnant... I kept to myself who I was with that night, because besides dueling, the only thing that I love is you...". Kaiba was then relieved to find out the truth about what really happened to you and the child he had with you is safe.

After your conversation with Kaiba, not only he had you and your child live with him, you and Kaiba also started fresh with eachother and to actually have a relationship together for real this time. Your child has also bonded with (his/her) father, Kaiba very easily like ((s)he did with you. It's like you, Kaiba, and your child (reader's choice of her child's name) have became (not only a rich family, however also) a happy family, as well.

It was perfect. Every last detail from the moment Téa had introduced you to the moment he’d finally asked you out, it was all like something out of a movie. Joey had always firmly believed—and said so himself on many occasions—that all that love at first sight nonsense was a load of crap, but you had done wonders at changing his mind with just one short conversation. He’d had the opposite of luck with women but decided to make it his mission to pursue you anyway, making up any excuse he could just to attend the same events you did. 

After two excruciating months of hiding Joey finally worked up the courage to ask you out on a date, dressing nicer than he had for his own sister’s wedding. He had begged Yugi to take him to a banquet at KaibaCorp, willing to swallow his pride (and his hatred of Kaiba) just for the chance to talk to you. Yugi obliged, warning Joey on the car ride to the event that he would have to be on his best behavior around Kaiba if he wanted even a sliver of a chance at talking to you. It was rumored that you were Kaiba’s personal favorite employee, one of his hardest workers and closest confidants, so it wasn’t often that he wasn’t seen around you at events like this. 

The banquet was nearly over and Joey still hadn’t spoken a word to you, and he doubted he’d get another chance after tonight. He’d been little more than play the part of Yugi’s shadow, barely listening to the banal conversations about business that surrounded him. As much as he loved Duel Monsters he couldn’t stand the behind-the-scenes information, and its inescapable nature had begun to wear on him. He told Yugi he’d be outside if anything happened, and made his way downstairs to the small gathering of benches and trees behind the building. 

Summer was just beginning to turn to autumn, and the first cool breeze of the season greeted Joey when he opened the back doors. He breathed in the fresh air and loosened his tie, freezing when he saw someone already sitting on one of the stone benches. He felt all the food he’d eaten violently turn in his stomach when he registered that it was you sitting there, the skirt of your stunning silver gown pulled up so it wouldn’t get dirty. Joey wondered if Kaiba had gotten you that dress, or if you’d picked it out yourself to compliment the midnight blue tuxedo he’d been wearing. 

He took a tentative step forward, feeling lightheaded the second your head snapped around to see who was approaching. You gave him a smile that made his heart skip several beats, the sound of it thumping in his ears almost loud enough to drown out your offer for him to take a seat next to you. 

“I didn’t even know you were here,” You admitted sweetly, giggling softly when Joey chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly in response. 

“To be honest with ya I got no clue what’s goin’ on here, I just tagged along with Yugi to uh...” Joey trailed off and lowered his voice, desperately hoping you wouldn’t be able to hear, “to get a chance to see you.” 

Blush spread across your cheeks as you shyly looked away from Joey. “I...Well, I’m glad you came, I wanted to get the chance to talk with you again too.” 

Joey internally cheered, hoping that he wouldn’t fumble the question that hovered in the back of his mind, just waiting to be asked. “So, uh, ya like Duel Monsters? You gotta, considering who you work for ‘an all.” 

“Yeah, it’s a little dorky, but I do. Seto taught me how to play when I first started working here, and I’ve actually gotten to enter a few tournaments. Now I’m nowhere near as good as you or him, but I do a pretty okay job.” 

“Wait...me?” No one had ever called Joey a good duelist except for his friends, and certainly no one who was as close to Kaiba as you were. “You really think I’m that good?” 

“Now this is going to sound really nerdy but uh...when I was getting into the game I went back through some of the records and watched some old duels from some televised matches. Of course I knew how good Seto was because, you know, he was my main partner, but it was amazing seeing how well you and Yugi Muto played then too. I even...” your blush deepened tenfold, “I even went up and asked your friend Yugi for his autograph when we first met. Seto made fun of me for it, but I couldn’t not ask. He’s one of the best duelists I’ve ever seen.” 

“Yeah, Yugi is pretty great.” It seemed Joey was still stuck firmly in the shadow of Yugi and Kaiba, even in the eyes of the girl he liked. 

“Don’t get me wrong though, out of all the decks I think I like yours the best. Plus I love a good underdog story, and yours is probably the best one Duel Monsters has ever seen.” You waved your hand, obviously embarrassed by how much research you’d put into the game. “But enough about my silly analysis, it doesn’t matter too much anyway. I’m glad I got the chance to talk to you, even if I’m pretty bad at making conversation.” 

Joey’s heart hammered a frantic pace in his chest. “I really like makin’ conversation with ya, though. You got a real nice way of explainin’ stuff you’re into, even if ya think it’s boring to everyone else.” 

“Oh that’s....that’s very nice of you, Joey. Thank you.” 

He felt his whole body warm at your words, the feeling quickly giving way to a nervous sweat when he saw you scoot closer to him on the bench, your thigh almost pressing against his. It’s now or never Wheeler, make your move! 

“So, uh, (Name).” 

“Yeah?” 

“Are you uh,” Joey swallowed thickly, “are you free next Friday, maybe? I uh...I was wonderin’ if you uh, wanted to go out to dinner with me or somethin’...if you’re busy then I understand and you don’t gotta say yes or no right now, but—“

“I’d love to, Joey. Here, I’ll give you my number and we can work out a time and a place, how does that sound?”

“That sounds perfect...” Just like you.

In the months that followed Joey found himself falling deeper and deeper in love with you every day. The way you stared at him when he was doing the most mundane of tasks, looking at him like he’d hung the stars themselves. The way your face lit up when you won a game of Duel Monsters, always so proud of how far you’d come in so little time. The way you collapsed into his lap after a long day at work, falling asleep almost instantly, not even stirring when he picked you up and carried you to bed. The way you looked in his old t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants, walking through your kitchen as you made dinner and talked strategy with him. 

In the back of his mind he always worried that he wouldn’t be enough for you, that one day he’d lose to Kaiba again, but it seemed you were always there to quell his nerves just when he needed you most. He couldn’t have asked for anyone better than you, and he never wanted the feeling to end. 

It was a year before the two of you talked about moving in together, deciding that you’d move into his apartment that winter. You spent every weekend in December moving box after box into his house, warmed by the thought that soon you’d get to sleep next to him every night, sharing the home the two of you had always dreamed of. The first month was an adjustment to be sure, full of minor spats and spells of silence, but when the dust finally settled it was the happiest Joey had ever been. He was sure Yugi and Tristan were tired of him gushing about you to them, but he just couldn’t help it. It was as if the heavens themselves had come down and blessed him with you, and he’d be damned if you didn’t know it every single day that you were together. 

By a year and a half you’d become one of the highest ranking members of Kaiba’s personal team, and by far the best liason the company had ever seen. Though you were spending more time with Kaiba than ever before you still made a point to spend time with Joey every night, speaking promises into the dark of your room that you would keep choosing him for a very long time. 

And it was this very promise that brought Joey to where he currently stood: outside a jewelry store, thinking about where he wanted his life to go next. He had a much more modest job than you, but he wasn’t exactly pressed for cash, making enough from work and tournament winnings to comfortably support himself. He loved you, and loved living with you, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that he wanted something more. He wanted a real house, not just an apartment. You’d talked about kids in passing once, but never as a serious topic. You came to all his duels and cheered him on, but he wanted to be the stuff of legend. But the only way he could see that legend play out was with you by his side until the bitter end. 

And the only way he could do that was, well, by asking you to marry him. 

Joey spent months after his epiphany agonizing over the perfect way to ask you to marry him. It seemed that your relationship was going better than ever, and at the two-year mark he felt more sure than he’d ever been that he wanted to marry you. He spent countless nights sitting in one of the lawn chairs on the balcony on the phone with Serenity, asking her opinion on every proposal idea that popped into his head. She assured him that the perfect idea would come to him, but it had already been over a year and not a single opportunity had presented itself. He was beginning to doubt that it was even a good idea in the first place, but every time he saw you smile at him it confirmed to him that he was making the right choice, no matter how long it took to actually act on. 

Finally, after a year and a half of planning, Joey finally had the answer. He’d saved up earnings from his last four duels to take you out on a fancy night on the town, something better than Kaiba could’ve ever dreamed of giving you. He would take you to your favorite restaurant, then to an outdoor market you’d excitedly been telling him about for days. He’d buy you whatever you wanted no matter how expensive, and at the end of the night he’d present you with the ring he’d been holding onto for three months now. He’d flown Serenity all the way back to Domino City just to help him pick it out, and every time he snuck a look at it from its hiding place in your closet it filled him with nothing but boundless joy. He was surprised you hadn’t caught onto his plans yet, but it seemed he had how busy you were with work to thank for that. 

When the day finally came he could barely contain his excitement as he got ready with you, distracted from his own routines by how gorgeous you looked. You’d done up your hair the way he liked it, opting for a more toned-down version of the makeup routine you usually used when the two of you went out to the clubs for the occasion. You were wearing one of your favorite outfits, waving Joey off when he asked if you were worried about it being too casual for such a nice restaurant. You proclaimed you’d seen people with double your income wearing much worse, quickly stopping any more conversation dead in its tracks. 

This too was perfect, down to the last minute detail. The weather was perfect, the food was perfect, even the traffic was perfect. Joey didn’t want to jinx it by saying nothing could go wrong, but he had a good feeling about what he had planned for the end of the night. 

The two of you wandered around the night market for a few hours, sampling all kinds of desserts and drinks as the night stretched on. You had each gotten each other a few gifts, even opening packs of Duel Monsters cards right there by the stall, but nothing was as exciting to Joey as the box currently feeling as if it were burning a hole in his pocket. Every time his hand brushed it when he went to put his wallet back he felt anxious electricity run through his fingertips, and his anticipation for the perfect moment only grew. 

Finally you reached a gathering of trees near the market, deciding to sit down for a break so you could both rest your feet for a bit before you made your final sweep and headed home. Joey was as nervous as he was the first day he’d asked you out, if not more. He rotated the box in his hand while you looked through your bags, rearranging them so you had less to carry. He felt as if he was going to pass out right then and there, weakly clearing his throat to get your attention. 

He knelt down on one knee, pulling the box out from his pocket. “(Name), I swear I’ve loved ya since the day we first met. Hell, I think I even love ya more now. You’re the best person I’ve ever met, and I couldn’t dream of spendin’ even a single day without you by my side. You’re the only person who’s ever really believed in me, you know that? Every duel I play I look for you cheerin’ me on in the crowd, and I want it to be that way for forever. So I guess what I’m tryin’ to ask ya here is...will you marry me?” 

Joey’s eyes searched your face for an answer, the weight of your silence crushing him more with every passing second. He saw the tears welling in your eyes, looked at the way you gripped one hand with the other, and he felt the nervous pit grow in his stomach. “(Name)? C’mon, you gotta say somethin’. Please.” 

“Joey I....I’m so sorry....” your breath hitched, makeup smearing as tears streamed down your face, “I’m so, so sorry, but I....I can’t. I just can’t.” 

Joey’s other knee slammed into the ground, but the pain was nothing compared to what he felt in his chest. He gripped the ring box in his hand, desperately trying to keep himself from crying too. You....you had said no. Why? Was it too soon? He could try again later. Was it not the right ring? He’d buy another. Was he not making enough money? He’d find a new job. Anything, anything he had to do for one more chance, he’d do it in a heartbeat. Whatever it took, he just couldn’t lose you. Not yet. Not like this. Please, not like this.

“I...I’m so sorry. I have to go.”

Nothing was the same after that. Joey spent most nights alone now, with you either sleeping on the couch or at one of your friends’ houses. You were distraught too, but nowhere near as bad as he was. He’d dropped out of every duel he’d signed up for, barely able to drag himself to work if it weren’t for rent. You barely spoke a word to him, still offering no explanation as to why you’d rejected his proposal. 

You’d started moving your belongings now too, silent when he asked you if you’d found a new place. You could barely even look at him, he didn’t know why he was expecting any sort of conversation. All he could do was wait for the final box to leave, and then you’d be out of his life for good. Then what? Try and pick up the pieces, start life over with someone new? He could barely stomach the thought of you moving out, how the hell did he expect to date someone else? He doubted he would ever get any real closure, but he could at least ask you what he’d done wrong before you left. 

“(Name), I can’t watch you go without askin’ you this first,” Joey began, barely holding back tears as he watched you stand in the doorway, setting the box you were holding down as you waited for his question, “why’d ya say no?” 

Your eyes darted away from him. “Joey I....you know I love you, right?” 

“Not anymore,” He spat, feeling instantly guilty when he saw the look on your face. 

“Well, I do. But I just....it’s not the right time. I don’t know if it ever will be. I’ve loved the last few years we’ve spent together, really I have, but I just...I don’t know. It doesn’t...I still don’t know what I feel, I just know that this doesn’t feel like the right thing to do.” 

“Say it then.” 

“What?”

Joey stood up, tears welling in his eyes. “Say that I wasn’t enough for ya, then! Tell me that I’m annoyin’ or-or that I suck at duelin’ or something! Anything, anything but that you’re just leavin’ me like that. Please.”

You crossed the living room, cupping Joey’s face with your hand. “I’ll always have love in my heart for you, Joey, but right now isn’t the right time. And I don’t know if there ever will be a right time, and that’s what scares me. I don’t know what I want yet, and I don’t want you to suffer because of that. I’m so sorry.” 

You pressed a kiss into his cheek, picked up your box, and left for the final time. So desperately did Joey want to chase after you, shouting as loud as he could that he didn’t care if you didn’t know what you wanted, because you’d figure it out together. He wanted to stop you before you even made it to your car, wanted to make you change your mind before you’d even left the living room, but all he could do was sink to his knees and sob. 

Everything was imperfect now, an empty shell of what it had been before. Everything was shrouded in a thick darkness now that your light was gone, and Joey didn’t know if it would ever lift. He didn’t know where you were going, and he wasn’t sure if he wanted the answer. He hoped whoever you found next would treat you well, but that was the most he could offer. For now he had to begin to figure out how exactly to live his life without you. 

An impossible task, to be sure.

All of Me; All of You Fanfic Update

Beloved readers, the rest of AOMAOY is being outlined as I write this. My purple ink scribbles become messier as my hands shake with excitement. I cannot wait to share more of this story, although it will take time and a level of craft I haven't tapped into in quite some time.

Right now we are looking at a total of 24 chapters and an epilogue. While this could shift a bit as I write (things always look different in draft than they do in outline), I don't think it will vary too much. I will continue to try to update with some regularity, but if things take a while, know it's because I want the words to be their very best before sharing them with you.

Blue Eyes White Serpent ((Naga!Kaiba X Reader))

((Heyo, peeps and peepettes! Princess Tina here to present y'all a very special fanfic I may have wrote something short or not ((😅)), but still a great treat for all the Kaiba fangirls out there. 😊 So, I had an idea in my head for a late Year Of The Dragon event where the multibillionaire genius CEO becomes a tyrannical half hybrid draconic naga known as the Blue Eyes White Serpent, the most powerful specimen as well as deadliest predator in the forest. Now then, hope ya enjoy the story 😄))

Upon this tranquil paradisic environment of a polluted free scenery that is the emerald wilderness underneath the purified orb of morning light like a sunshine pouring its gentle glistening brightness onto the cleansing meadows teeming with harmless naturistic creatures both enormous as well as miniature combined in once, you, a beautiful ordinary young woman who lived alone into the residential abode protectively surrounded by fences other than only several lonesome vegetative trees, are lounging quietly onto the comfort sofa within a decent living room with your legs firmly crossed instead of spreading them wide for an unreasonable purpose whatsoever.

Quietly reading a regular novel in both palms using an exception about holding it with one hand, there's nothing more serene or pleasant than to just simply indulge some quality time studying at ease, sipping silently on a warm cup of peppermint leaf herbal tea to your unblemished lips while feasting your ears to the soothing volume of outdoor music played by the radio as a medium-sized stereo box delivers its harmless waves across the indoor area.

Whistling out a relaxing sigh forming as a songful hum that escapes from your non bacterial lungs during an average activity in the comfort of your own domain, carefully flicking parts about your hygienic hair/bangs aside preventing it to barricade your view on the favorable fable.

Lingering within the mildest cesspool of absolute serenity siding by Mother Nature's courteous palms cherishing both her vegetative homeland and visiting humans conjoined together inside a similar society on this earthly atmosphere instead of one singular race by lonesome, is truly a compassionate utopia to utterly dream of or live into eternal prosperity.

Lacking any form of aching anxieties about further dangers, cash loving poachers, even furious endangered species intending to shoot a ruin on such a perfectly well balanced wonderland of the wildlife just for ruthless ambitions as well as sinful amusements to their cruel liking.

Speaking of something or someone whose completely dangerous as well as cruelly powerful to the core than all three meaningless non threats alongside weak willed vicious animals in the environmental fields, an ultimately superior half draconic serpent headed with efficient hazel colored short hair, deadly sapphire crystalized eyes, a flawless muscular torso that is unscathed from measly predators, then an arrogant demeanor which incredibly possess unlimited arctic daggers yearning to impale any spinless fool who would dare stood in his way impatiently when it comes to apprehending his fresh prey.

His name is Seto Kaiba, predatoric tyrant from the unknown depths of Kaiba Kingdom, secondly known toward every other imperfect underlings of both kinds as the Blue Eyes White Serpent. All have heard, been gullibly frightened of, more so, would become thousands times more foolish enough to oppose or encounter him with countless means necessary, of course if they are fully prepared to face their optionless demise by the cerulean serpentine's supremely devastating attack so vilely indestructible called White Lightning Burst, a terrorizing element for which he unleashes the blazing energetic aura carrying an issueless control once accumulated an abundance of power and then, fires the atomic winter lighted beam from his mouth to instantly dismantle imperfect foes as well as human garbage from his sight.

He demands no wretched equal, disgusting friendship or measly tag alongs. Most importantly of all, nothing in this circle shaped ball decorated of sea as well as ground will ever measure upward to the glorified predatory emperor of power. For every single goal shall always descend into his claws, never forgetting about taking anything he desires by force.

Sauntering aimlessly throughout the lively pillaring pine woods holding an empty bucket in your hand by a handle to fetch some clear H2O, you unhastingly began to feel the mellifluous gale generously caressing on your fairly smooth skin alongside your gorgeous locks as you allow it to do so.

Accompanied with innocent hearted quadruple feathered birds greeting in a sweet loveable chirp to you until one of them glided over to your shoulder, petting it with a finger onto the head writing a warm smile in your expression.

Finally arriving toward the majestic lake after an "exhaustingly" long stroll around the green maze, possessing no signs of complaints, you advanced closer to the elegantly crisp liquid with a pale in two hands being prepped for liquid hunting, bending down cautiously to scoop up a small pint of water from the gigantic puddle heretofore returning to the house.

Suddenly, out of the blue, there was a menacing hiss that emits somewhere into the territorial grounds following with several soundings of rustling bushes caused by an anonymous reptile, however, it wasn't an original snake or a large andocanda. Instead, it is yet a much colossal encounter for some people like you to watch out for, or act literally concerning about warnful encounters.

Becoming extremely cautious of your unprotective surroundings, wielding a water filled bucket toward your chest, the sibilated sound has started to increase thus closely, poking out its deadly iced peepers throughout the bushes straightly at you to observe your species. This time, an unknown noise have chosen a better victim, one who poses as a helpless little damsel foolishly lost her way inside the center of a jungle.

"Hmm.... What do we have here.....? A defenceless little bitch with no proper sense of direction whatsoever? How utterly simple minded of her to prod her nostrils into one's affairs. However, she is somewhat beautiful for a lonely prey~..." The darkly voice mutter inaudibly, spying on you without notice as it soaks its lips by the long tongue slowly rotating.

Lastly, without any additional volunteers present, including other differential females to appear as well as come up here to bravely obtain the rap, that defenseless young damsel....is you. Having no plentiful time to ponder about retaliation nor attempting to seek for a safe spot to hide, you decided to run away from the unstoppable threat immediately deserting behind a bucket of cool water afar of the bayou earlier without looking back.

"Heh.... That's right, you impudent little bird.... Fly away to your nest.... As far as you hardly can... For it'll only be a matter of time until I apprehend my sweet meal without breaking a pathetic sweat...."

Unexpectedly behind, an inescapable pursuer exceeds the average speed of pathetically slow beasts such as cheetahs, foxes, the other types also by his ginormous wings atop of his back. Making this useless game of cat and mouse as effortless as solving a diamond theft case to his part. You started to flee even faster to your hardest than ever before, especially when your own well being is at stake or in peril. Unfortunately, it was already too late for you to reach toward your household as your chaser's tail unnoticeably grabbed you from nowhere.

A shocking gasp flows right out of your mouth due to an easy apprehension, your body has been sealed by a beastly grasp of a coil as you inaugurately tried to struggle yourself free out of this predicament. Afterwards, a devious chuckle is now magnifyingly heard towards you, belonging to none other than the legendary tyrannical dragon naga himself.

"Well well.... Look what I have caught in my tail.... A naughty little treassser who ignorantly filched something that doesn't belong to her... An effortless catch in my case~..." Spoke the cockingly handsome brunette, slowly revealing his extraordinary self with a carving smirk on his boned face while restraining your every move to scram safely.

Gulping in infinite silence with a side of an undoubtable petrified look into your eyes as you first witnessed your merciless captor in the flesh, Kaiba can actually sense your unfleeing fear too clearly. Slithering toward your helplessness then extending his hand to cup your soft cheeks, he coyly tsks.

"Foolish little tramp... Haven't your idiot parents ever told you not to steal someone's important possessions without consent? For example, my luxurious bathing pond?"

Now that you really thought about it, since the early day where you went onward at a pond to grab some water before this incident had occurred, you have infiltrated his most restricted but also secretly rare kingdom, it all come back to your senses.

Your pupils redirected from the ground to his, bowing your head an apologetic matter for infiltrating his formal property. Although that the all mighty remorseless half snake such as him would always turn down as well as refuse to accept anyone's blabbering apologies for wasting his flawless time, which he never does, he had some occasional ideas on what to do with you instead.

"Fine then. I'll accept your little apology for now. But on one condition..."

Your head once again starts to nod as you would listen to him very closely, doing your best to not get on his nerves, waste his competent time, or piss him off quickly.

Otherwise, your precious little body, especially your well being, belongs to me only. Nobody else can have you nor will you go back to your ridiculous home. You obey only to me. Understand?"

Thirdly, you had no choice but to offer him a covenant nod of your head complying to his utter whim without resistance. His smirk grew slightly wider at your response.

"Good. At least you learn your lesson by now, little bird. Never invade my personal territory again or I will have the pleasure of devouring your slutty body whole myself. So you had better remember that and do as I command. That's your first order from now on." He demanded coolly, having you to reply at his command simultaneously.

"Mmm... That's better. You're beginning to behave yourself like a good little tweetling for once. Despite your puny resistance against my maximum superiority or foolishly attempting to escape my reach, you would do well to satisfy my needs. Whether you will like it or not...." Grinned Kaiba, still holding your damageless face in one hand yanking it closer to his.

"As of right now, you will address me as "superior master". Meaning that I alone will dominate everything in my path by force. That includes you too, birdie~ Just so long as you don't disappoint me any further like the repulsive lot~, that is...."

Casting aside a now forgetful misunderstanding accident to the breeze, Kaiba initiated his seductive personality into complete secrecy just for you, reaching his face over to yours before impaling your lips deeply with his. Traditionally, presenting a slightly painful nibble unto your soft thin neck first. A whimpering moan hurls afar of your lovely maw as he then bit into it. Symbolizing you as his personal irreplaceable slave for eternity.

Lastly, the moment of truth now arises from its slumber as the draconical genius directs his attention from the bitten neckcollar, aiming it toward as well as laying dual clawed hands on your heavenly puff cheeks to gladly consider your apology with acceptance of a kiss.

"And as for your apology, I will declare this....acceptable. In other words, you'll forevermore belong to me, my troublesome little bird~...."

His cold thin line lips has been granted an honor to jammed them into your sweet warm ones so deeply and with enough white energy inside his hybrid anatomy, extra hungrily to only absorb an ever living breath thoroughly from your lungs. You respond this harden osculation properly despite yourself becoming unable to be released from the coiled up position.

Endlessly making out along with the ocean eyed naga holding your body close into his smexy arms in an embracive cuddle, sharing each other's tongues, this too, will surely be of your magical once and a life time fantasy you'll never wish to forget or ignore at all. Rearranging from a decently singular girl, to accepting of being Seto Kaiba's cute little love slave forever, disregarding about you not asking for this.
