keywords to use when looking for fun child-friendly games on flashpoint!꒰› ω ‹ ꒱☆〜
for those unaware, flashpoint is a program you can download onto your pc that has thousands of flash games from all around the web archived into one program! i have a tutorial on how to download it here!
always remember to stick to the OFFICIALLY LICENSED games! not that the third party games are bad or dangerous, but theyre just generally of a lower quality and not as fun. my favorite keywords list is under the cut!
MIMI'S FAV FLASHPOINT GAME KEYWORDS
nick jr (has everything from dora to blues clues to the fresh beat band and everything else in between!!)
nickelodeon (has fun lego games, avatar/korra games, spongebob, and even games from classic 90s nick shows!)
hasbro (barbies games, my little pony games (g3 and g4), littlest pet shop games, NERF games, marvel games, transformers games, etc!)
noggin (not a whole ton of games because most noggin games got moved to nick jr, but a lot of games that didn't survive the switch were oobi games, miffy games, maisy games, and a couple moose & zee games!)
disney (a big range of age demographics in this one! plenty of disney junior, disney channel, and classic disney movies games!)
cartoon network (this ones for a slightly older demographic, 8-12 i'd say! lots of classic and modern CN show games to choose from here!! the naruto games were my fav as a kid)
GirlsGoGames (a classic site for sure!! lots of fun dressup games and stereotypically "girly" games!)
PBS (so many cute games!! clifford, arthur, mr roger/daniel tiger, etc!!)
sesame street (pretty self explanatory here! i love these games :])
polly pocket (a few unlicensed low quality games in the results here, make sure to play the real ones!)
sprout (kinda like noggin, these are a lot of the games that didn't survive the switch to PBS kids! mainly bob the builder, a couple sesame street games, and thomas the tank engine)
HiT entertainment (some more bob the builder and thomas games, fireman sam, and some really cute microsites [pingu, thomas & angelina ballerina])
american greetings (really cute care bears games, and some games from rarer/forgotten 2000s shows like holly hobbie and maryoku yummy! [I LOVED BOTH])
hubworld .com (basically a part 2 of hasbro. more mlp games, lps games, transformers games, etc!)
mattel (more barbie, polly pocket, hot wheels games plus a ton more from other mattel franchises, including some fisher price games for very young ones!)
some general flashpoint tips
make sure explicit content is turned off! you can do this in the config tab. if you have explicit content turned on, adult games can show up in searches (especially if you search stuff like my little pony)
avoid games that are from newgrounds, deviantart, etc. those games can be violent, gorey, or suggestive, and can pop up even if the explicit content is turned off
each game has tags, publishers, etc in the description that you can click on to narrow down your searches!
not all games work properly. some may glitch, have lost assets, or not load at all. these things will usually be specified in the "notes" of the description, make sure to read those before playing!
and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!! there are literally thousands of games at your disposal here to play around with. this program offers hours of fun for regressors or people who love nostalgia!

Concept that will never ever happen but man, 3d renders for a petsite with dress-up ala neopets or flight rising would be a great like, time-saving strategy. Like it is mindboggling the amount of effort that goes into a single item in FR... but 3d would make the possibility of fully dress-upable pet sites way more viable (i mean. Im sure theres more but I can only think of those two. And thats fair! Flight rising is petsites georg in terms of, whatd you call it, production level)
Like, instead of redrawing a hat 30 times, model it once, and then slap it on with minor adjustments for them all, and theoretically once you have a system of what fits what, adding on another beastie wont keep exponentially increasing the work of adding new clothes.
Then, render the creature and the clothes as spearate images, and have the site layer them as appropriate and compress into a final single image. That would mean no shadows and stuff, but thats already something you cant really do in 2d, but it would be a lot more noticeable.
Also wayyyy wayyy easier to do multiple poses.
That's also making me imagine the possibility of animated petsites... prerendered probably but man, imagine like, pokemon amie but on your computer or phone with your lil dressupable creatures. As much as I hold petsites dear to my heart, I do think they're on their last limb simply because most people don't go on their computer to goof around. Like technically you can play FR on your phone but its just not the same. (Side note but um. Anybody want a nature/water sprite? I feel a lil bad theyre rotting on my account considering they must be pretty rare at this point)
The idea of a petsite as an app causes me some form of revulsion, but I'm not sure why. If anything thats what I always wanted as a kid, but most games like that are... well. Shit. But I'm also not 12 anymore so maybe 'mobile games where you have some dudes to take care of' has expanded as a genre.
But in theory it would be cool. In general I think petsites came up with a lot of fun ways to interact digitally that arent anywhere else, that would make some unique videogames.
Went on tangent below lol
Also same with those dragon breeding mobile games that you really shouldnt play but are a guilty pleasure of mine... I'd love to make a whole game based around completing a compendium of dragons by collecting different ones and combining them.
As much as I hate to say it though they fundamentally revolve around waiting a lot of time between attempts, that I cant think of a way to keep the excitement of getting something different without being the shitty mobile game style ohhh you can wait 4 hours... orrr pay usss... like, just removing the paying would just make the game annoying.
they are genuinely fun if you have no money and are resistant to addiction... which is sad, I wish I could translate the gameplay loop in an equally fun but non-exploitative way.
But i guess animal crossing does real time stuff and people love it, but it also doesnt seem the sort of idea to make a good chill out game... the only way i can think of is to just make it so on average by the time you come back from playing the 'find more dargons' part of the game, that your combinings should be ready. But making that into a factory sort of advancement would be... kinda fucked up lmao.
You obviously want to make the dragons feel like pets or companions and not breeding stock. But also the angle of 'you are a dragon conservationist and you must convince as many dragons as possible to Fuck' sounds kinda funny... like how in FR obliterating dragons for money is well-rationaled as sending them off to serve their deity, but in reverse.
#ill be homest though the main reason i think about this sometimes is just that the longer it exists the more I just do not like how#flight rising does dragons. like each one is a gimmick that overshadows what it is#aside from guardians and banescales theres very little for boring people like me who enjoy very typical modern dragons#also that they made a whole new type of breed so they could have dragons without wings or 4 limbs and then only did that once...#spirals already had like 6 mini wings extra limbs do not count as different!#but thats just me bitching

Your thoughts on the Sims 1-4
Guess I’m in the mood to do these. Grabbing a tag from @mosneakers.
Sims 1: The big thing I remember about this game is that it could take your sim hours to cross from one end of the house to the other. Thus, if the sim got up at the normal one-hour-before-work, they often wouldn’t have time to both pee and eat. I got obsessed with designing and efficient house, with the kitchen right outside the bedroom door, so that my sims could get to work with the best mood.
Then I let the garden go bad, and it would destroy my sims’ mood on the way to the carpool, and it took me forever to figure out what was going on :-D
Sim 2: I remember being thrilled by how much easier it was for sims to get around their house. The introduction of lifespans intrigued me. However, I hadn’t really figured out what I wanted to DO with this sandbox game yet. Playing Sims gets boring if you don’t have some kind of a goal. I’d never heard of a generational challenge, much less rotational gameplay, and I hadn’t plugged into the fan community yet.
I did dabble in mods -- mostly the mod to drastically increase the chance of a sim being abducted when using the telescope so I could make alien babies. I built a household from two CAS-built sisters who were of different races. One of them married a man, and the other a woman, and then I got frustrated that the lesbian couple couldn’t make babies. They adopted, but I was annoyed by how genetically boring their adopted son was. Then I got obsessed with trying to get one of the lesbians to cheat on her spouse to make a baby without being discovered. Where is artificial insemination when you need it?
Later, I created a new sim who married into the Broke family. I got bored and tried to starve Dustin to death to make a ghost. when I removed the door to his bedroom and his needs got very low, he got down on his knees to beg the Watcher for his life. I felt so guilty that I actually turned off the game and never went back!
Sims 3: This is where it happened for me. Open world and a town that aged with my active household just better matches the way I imagine playing. I even figured out generational play, at least somewhat, before really plugging into the fan community.
I didn’t realize until reading @mosneakers and @natolesims‘s memes that there was so much hate floating around for Sims 3 art style! I admit that I do dislike the child faces. I thought Sims 2 faces were too long and thin. Sims 3 faces seem to have overcompensated by being just a bit too round. Otherwise, I’m quite sure I don’t know what you guys are talking about. LOL.
I don’t think I’d still be playing if it weren’t for NRaas, though. Sims 3′s open world was pretty ambitious, and their data management was totally not up to the task. I spent years offering tech support on people’s blogs when they started to suffer data corruption in generation 2 or 3. You just can’t play without at least minimal mods to clean up save files. It’s unintuitive that a modded game is more stable than vanilla, but it’s just true. Sad, but true.
Sims 4: I have played this very little, not because I hate it but because I am stubbornly determined to finish my 10-generation legacy. A lot of folks just rebuilt their household in Sims 4 and continued to play. At the time Sims 4 came out, I was playing supernatural-heavy games with custom skintones, so I’d lose almost everything if I ported them over. It also turns out that it’s hard to face going from a heavily-modded, 11-expansion experience to a game with base or just one expansion. I have a lot more sympathy for Sims 2 players who skipped Sims 3 entirely.
I have a hard time facing the color presets and closed world, but the game in its current state really seems to have done great things with gameplay. If/when I get the Samples done, I’ll take a look at making the switch. Of course, by then Sims 5 will likely be out, so maybe I’ll skip....
What is your favorite Expansion pack
Generations and/or Seasons. But it’s really hard to choose.
Small pets or Horses?
I really, really love Sims 3 horses. Since I’m modding pets, it can probably be guessed that I like the animals in general :).
What is your favorite active career?
Yes.
I have had a ton of fun with almost all active careers. If forced to choose, I might go for firefighter.
What is your favorite Lifetime Wish?
Buh. I really dug the Photography one I guess. I just like doing different ones.
Whims or Wants?
I’m sorry. I have no idea what this question even means (blush).
What is your favorite Occult?
I feel like all the occults in TS3 are kind of underdeveloped. That said, witches are pretty cool.
Cowplants, Bonehilda, or the Social Bunny?
Bonehilda
How do you pick your sims names?
I am absolutely OBSESSED with names. I’m sorry I only got to name one flesh-and-blood child, so I let it all out in naming my simmies. I get into the head of the parent(s) and come up with lists from whatever they would like. My saves are very gameplay-directed, and tend to randomize most traits, so I intentionally don’t build a sim to a name or try to make a sim’s name suit their personality at all. After all, when we name our children, we get no say over who they eventually become :).
Do you create a spouse for a sim, or do you go after a townie?
Townie! My gaming style is heavily gameplay-oriented. I want my sims to choose their partner using wishes and attraction and whatever else the game provides. However, I also am incredibly interested in genetic experimentation, so I do allow myself to change the physical appearance of some sims before making babies with them if they are too bland. I populated my Samples save from scratch, largely using downloaded simalikes of real people. I have NRaas set to use existing sims in the town or in my sim bin, to generate new ones. So basically I do my best to have the most interesting genetics pool I can so I don’t need to edit faces.
Do you prefer to follow storytelling Simblrs, or do your prefer gameplay Simblrs?
I’m not totally sure what this is asking either :-D. Are “storytelling” simblrs the ones that largely use the game as an artistic medium for screenshots using poses and whatnot? My play style is to play the game and build stories from it, so I’m not entirely sure what category I fall into myself.
I suppose it doesn’t matter because I follow both. I’m not terribly drawn to dressup challenges and lookbooks.
What year did you join Tumblr/Simblr?
I have absolutely no friggin idea. I tried to look back in my email archive to track notifications, and that failed. I came back after three years, so it has to be at least for years before I returned....?

Seen these ads? (Dress Up! Time Princess Review)
This is primarily a dress up and interactive fiction game.
The storylines and character interactions are not as dramatic as the ads would suggest, the gameplay mechanics are different from what you see in the ads and it is not a “makeover” game as some of the ads state. There are also a lot of other features in the game, although the primary focus is on dress up stages and interactive plot lines.
The characters are heavily “Elsafied” as shown in the ads, but this is actually a much better game than one would assume based on how it’s advertised.
Read my full review below:
***
***
***
👸 Is the game still fun? Yes, it is fun! The game is very well fleshed-out, from the dress up system to the storylines and characters, and the graphics are very nice as well. The outfits especially are very pleasant to look at - the fabrics have texture and motion, there’s a wide variety of items and you can even customize your own clothes with dyes and patterns and stuff unlocked along the way, which I don’t think I’ve seen before in a game except maybe the Sims and Animal Crossing lol.
The storylines are mostly based around historical events and fairytales which is pretty unique and makes for a surprising bit of edutainment - there are even little factoids throughout on different historical figures, locations, events and items etc. The decisions you make actually affect the story routes, endings and your relationships with other characters, and the characters themselves are well-developed with their own personalities and designs (although they are still Disneyfied/Elsafied designs.)
The characters emote and move throughout the dialog in a way that makes the stories more engaging, and the relationship system is really well-done; your decisions throughout the story effect your relationships and your relationship stats affect the story routes in turn. You can also improve relationships by giving characters gifts based on their individual preferences and you even get little letters and rewards from them as your relationships improve.
The dress up stages are woven into the story, usually with you dressing up to attend an event or meeting with the stage objectives related to the type of event/meeting it is (formal, informal, outdoors, you’re trying to impress someone, you’re trying to appear humble etc.) There are even items based around the specific time periods and locations of the stories.
In addition to the dress up stages and storylines there are a lot of other things to do in this game - crafting, minigames, events and contests, side stories, pets and items to collect that can boost your points during dressup stages, etc. I would say there’s almost too much to do, with a busy home screen covered in notifications that can be a hassle to go through if you’re like me and want to clear all your notifications before you do anything else lol. There are also a lot of different in-game currencies involved for different parts of the game which can be confusing. But the game gives you a good amount of guidance with tutorials explaining each feature along the way (and not thrown at you all at once), and if you can get past the sheer overwhelming quantity of things to do, you can either figure out how to organize and optimize your tasks, or just ignore the more complicated stuff and enjoy the main story stages/dress up aspects.
I was really surprised by the quality of this game based on the spammy/clickbaity/fake ads and the fact that on its face it seems like something that would be geared more toward younger children. It still isn’t exactly my cup of tea since I’m personally not that into dress up games and historical fiction, but I have to admit it was pretty enjoyable and impressive, and definitely something I would recommend to those who enjoy these specific genres.
👗 Is this a free game or a “free” game? I would definitely consider this a free game, you can pretty much do everything for free and play for a long time without hitting a dead end. You need stamina to play the main story/dress up stages but this renews over time and the stages themselves are long enough that you might not even play enough in one sitting to run out of stamina completely. I personally never ran out of stamina, especially since I racked up a lot of extra stamina (I think from earning it from different tasks I completed along the way but I’m not sure exactly where it came from).
Even if you did run out and had to wait to play more main stages, there are so many other things you can do in the meantime. And there are tons of opportunities to earn crafting materials, dress up items, experience and in-game currency, which lessens the pressure to pay in order to get more items or progress through the stories.
Probably best of all is that there aren’t paid choices in the storylines, unlike in a lot of other interactive fiction/visual novel games, where more favorable/consquential options require premium currency to make.
🕰 Features
There are a ton of different features in this game but I’ll try my best to list the ones I remember.
Dress up stages (you put together an outfit using clothing items/accessories in your inventory, and earn more points for higher-rated items as well as items with attributes that match the stage goals)
Storylines (there are different “books” to choose from with their own themes, plots, characters and dress up stages, which are mostly based on history or fairytales with the overarching plot being that your character is a time traveler who can travel into storybooks and take on the role of a historical figure/protagonist, kind of like a “past life” thing. Your character is always female and you can customize their facial features, skintone and base hairstyle but not their name since it will always be the name of whatever main protagonist you’re taking the role of. Each book is pretty long with dozens of stages and you unlock them with tickets you can earn from progressing through other books; there are also a few shorter stories or spinoff stories from the main books that cost less tickets)
Character relationships and interactions (with each main book comes a set of main characters called “companions” with their own personalities and preferences, who you can build your relationships with through story choices, giving them gifts they like and other interactions. You can get letters and rewards from them as your relationship stat increases and there’s also something called “encounters” where you make a choice based on a single line of dialog from a companion or generic NPC and get a reward, but I don’t think this affects the relationship stat. There are romantic plot lines but I don’t think there’s a separate stat for romantic relationships, it just comes out through the narrative/dialog. I’ve only played partly through one main story so far so I don’t know if your love interests are always male or not.)
Crafting (you can use materials and blueprints earned by completing stages and other various tasks to craft dress up items and gifts to give to companions)
Gacha mechanic (there’s a gacha mechanic where you get free draws each day to get crafting materials or dress up items. You can pay other currencies for more draws with guaranteed rare items.)
Friends/community (you can make friends with other players and gift them stamina and friend points which can be used for draws in one of the gacha pools. You can also borrow dress up items from friends to complete dress up stages, although this costs in-game currency. There’s also a global chat and other public chat rooms, and you can chat with or message your friends.)
Avatar and customization (You have a main customizable avatar displayed with the storyline dialog that you can also dress up with any of the items you own for a photobooth type thing, where you can make images of them in different poses to share on social media or what have you. You can also customize some clothing items using dyes, patterns and stamps you’ve unlocked and use those to dress up your avatar. The customized items can also be used in stages though I’m not clear on whether customization affects your performance or is only for visual effect.)
Events, minigames and contests (There are countless events going on at any given time, including log-in events, contests, puzzle/arcade minigames and more. These provide an abundance of opportunities to earn crafting materials, dress up items, in-game currency etc., pass them time while waiting for stamina to refill or overall engage with the game community.)
Pets, relics and research (I haven’t explored these part very much but you can get pet cats that can be attached to outfits to boost their stats and be sent out on missions to passively bring in rewards over time. Relics are another type of point-booster for dress up stages and research can be done on categories of dress up items to increase the points they yield.)
Edutainment (there’s a “memories” area where you can read through the different historical facts and trivia you’ve come across throughout the storylines)
⚖ Ad Honesty Rating: 2/5 (the ads rely on overdone tropes and melodrama, and blatantly copy from other games/game ads. For example the ads where her eyeliner is all smeared are basically the same exact ads used for Project Makeover. The art style and basic gist of the game’s genres are relayed through the ads, but they scarcely include real gameplay and really don’t do the game justice.)
⭐️ Overall Rating: 5/5 (other than the game being overly busy and having an Elsafied art style, there’s not much else to complain about, and there’s a lot of great stuff going on here. The visuals especially really caught my attention and the complex storylines and ability to play for free unhindered really make it a 5/5 for me. Overall one of the best games I’ve reviewed so far even if it’s not my personal genre preference.)

kind of a weird question but since im maybe(?) working on a petsite, i was wondering if u could talk a little bit abt why you like and play fr?
ok my response got a lil long so under readmore it goes (take this all with a grain of salt tho bc the only other petsite i ever used A Lot aside from FR was neopets back when i was like, 9-12 mostly, so it’s not like i can really compare my FR experience to much else anyway.)
mmmm well everyone has a different reason for that ofc, i’m sure (especially if you ask multiple ppl in the tag/comm this question) you’ll probably find everyone has a different answer, which is obvious yes, but i say that first anyway bc it IS smth do like about fr a lot...! i know a lot of ppl who can pick out a specific aspect or two of the site and say “THAT’S what i love about this one” and i think that in of itself is a fun and good thing :> having multiple Draws to your site is a good thing, i think!
personally my FAVORITE aspect on the site is dragon dressup, i LOVE coming up with outfits and variations on outfits and figuring out The Perfect Outfit for dragons and how there ARE variants on almost every piece... as i’ve said here and in many chats and convos in the past: i rarely ever decide i’m going to buy/keep a dragon until i can come up with an outfit for it. that is the MOST important part of the entire game to me, being able to dress up a dragon the way i want.
that said, i also love that it’s relatively EASY to do so--apparel isn’t difficult to come by, and the amount of items that DO cost premium currency are far outweighed by the amount of items you can get through treasure/coli/baldwin/chests/etc, and ofc the ease with which you Can get premium currency to get even the high-price apparel is a whole other reason people enjoy FR compared to other sites. you’re not having to shell out a fortune at every turn or constantly be buying premium currency JUST to get your “pet” dressed. plus, my favorite site feature, the dressing room.. exists! you can preview apparel and skins and everything on dragons, scries, whatever--it wasn’t until you could dress up scries that i started to actually give a shit about g1 dragons.
also just...... the amount of colors and genes n stuff possible on dragons, being able to have SO MANY dragons, many dragons being allowed to have the same name, etc, all very good. the fact that the dragons cannot and will not die like some petsites (*coughs at lioden and whatnot* if your pets can die its a bad fucking shitty stupid petsite <3) is another big good factor.
honestly im tired and also kind of tipsy rn so trying to explain why i like dragon website is hard but i love dragon website. being able to dress dragons and have so many different unique things i can do w these dragons and lore i can either ignore or work with to create CHARACTERS is!! so good!!!! hope my rambling helps. thanks

I HAVE DONE IT! These are all of the children I currently consider my mains. I’ll go over and give a quick synopsis of them. Also trigger warning for mentions of violence, abuse, neglect, death, 9/11, and depression. (FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY :D)
Phantomsong (Milo) - A man with a mask that allows him to come back to life every time he dies. He has been alive for at least a hundred years with no signs of aging past 25 because of this, and is essentially immortal. He also suffers any injury he causes to other people. He could definitely be described as a grumpy old man. He is quite bitter and depressed, which can be off-putting at first, but he has a soft spot for those who are suffering. He offers support to Nemo, and tries to play with Rui when they ask him to.
Benjamin - A wooden puppet inhabited by the ghost of a child who died in a fire. He spent much of his afterlife in a crystal ball before he was sent out into the forest, where he met Phantomsong and Amaranthus, then Daly. He very much acts his age. He is playful, and enjoys spending time with the others. He has a fear of fire.
Rui - A child born with a birth defect that causes them to have no gender. While they don’t quite understand what this means right now as they are only 11 years old, it does have a few consequences, like the inability to have children. They are only 2′9″ currently. Despite loss of their mother, mistreatment from their father, and the experience of being a test subject at The Lab, they still behave like a child. They are innocent and enjoy activities such as playing pretend and listening to stories being read to them. Their favorite treat is milk and cookies, and they are close to Pawn and Andrew.
Andrew - A serial killer who paints murals with the blood of his victims. He is a talented artist who has struggled for years to care for himself and his sister, and then to rescue her from The Lab before becoming a test subject himself. He is quite cunning and sneaky, able to get away with murder with practiced ease. He considers himself the best of the best, and often abuses Pawn for his own enjoyment. He has not yet been caught, but with his high body count it’s likely that if he does he will be sentenced to life in prison, if not worse.
Pawn - A quiet book lover. He grew up at an orphanage, where he stayed until he went to The Lab as essentially a sacrificial lamb. He was roomed with Rui in the Human Testing Facility (HTF) until their escape 2 years after they had arrived. He often seems quite sad, and this may be the case, but most of the time this is simply his resting face. He’s a mystery fanatic, and has an incredibly close relationship with Rui and Andrew, although he is often abused by the latter. He is levelheaded and intelligent, though prone to staying quiet about his opinions with Andrew.
Bubble Tea - Experiment BBL734, made with the DNA of an axolotl. He was created missing his right arm and with some issues in the flesh on his face that required it to be stitched up. Due to his ability to regenerate limbs, he was a favorite to test on in the Genetic Experiment Testing Facility (GETF). He was quickly helped to escape. He is slightly reserved, but for the most part cheerful. He loves helping people and the color pink. His favorite food is bread. He has a pet cat named Derrick, a robotic arm, and sleeps in a basket in the living room of the safehouse.
Answer (Ansera) - An angel assigned to run a safehouse for escapees of a lab. Also my persona. She is extremely shy and timid, and it shows in her wing size. She speaks very quietly and in a high-pitched voice. She is very young for an angel, only a thousand or so years old, but has already fought in many battles against the demon armies of Hell. Because she showed herself to be an anxious soul, she was removed from this position and place in one that is much safer. She is currently in a relationship with Amaranthus.
Amar (Amaranthus) - A ghost who is one of the victims of 9/11. Though he can fly, he prefers to walk on the ground. Before he remembered his life, he went by Daly, an emotionless husk who only mimicked others. Now his true personality shows: a happy, although somewhat high-strung, man with a love of flowers. A second, more malevolent being also makes its home inside his body, although he is much more able to control it now. He is currently in a relationship with Answer.
Eli - An oblivious and dorky lemur. He is clumsy and quirky, and has a horrible singing voice. Unlike all of the other residents of the safehouse, he came from an alternate dimension. There he worked as a waiter at a cafe, though he wasn’t really good at it, but here he simply stays at the house. He’s very optimistic, to the point of almost being annoying. In fact, he is annoying to a few of the residents, mainly Phantomsong. He has a close relationship with Nemo.
Nemo - Experiment HOH655, made with the DNA of a rat. Soon after he was created and tests were first run on him in the GETF, he developed a deep depression. He would not fight back at all against tests, barely ate, and would almost always be found in a corner in his cell. Because of this he was moved to the Voluntary Testing Facility (VTF). Here he was subjected to tests in which his hands and ears were removed and replaced with blades. One was put into his tail and his mouth was stitched shut. After undergoing these as well as many other tests which no other experiment was experiencing, he escaped to the safehouse. His stitching has since been removed. As he’s had time to recover, he is quite extroverted and jokes around with Eli quite a lot, but his depression persists, as well as the anxiety caused by all of the different tests. He relies on Song to vent about his depression, and every day tasks are a challenge for him due to his blades.
Gizmo - Modified Laboratory Assistant (Labbie) C7KK3E, made from the DNA of The Lab’s owner, Dr. Baxtor himself. Also the twin of Dick. He is incredibly bubbly and talkative, very childlike in demeanor. He enjoys traditionally feminine activities such as cooking, sewing, and playing dressup. But don’t be fooled by his cute exterior. He lacks the ability to feel fear, sympathy, or empathy in any way. As a Labbie, he was required to participate in the execution of tests on subjects in the VTF, however he was responsible for the deaths of at least a few of them due to sometimes behaving in a sloppy and sadistic manner. He takes joy in causing suffering to others, and will kill rabbits for fun while at the safehouse. He is one of the two Labbies who helped with the tests performed on Nemo, and felt no sympathy watching his friend be executed before his eyes.
Katie - Modified Laboratory Assistant (Labbie) P9OQ8Z, made from the DNA of a cat. She is quite kind and intelligent, often acting like an older sister to Gizmo and Dick. She is not one to get angry easily, but when she does it’s for a legitimate reason. She has a crush on Pawn and is learning to read from him. She was one of the two Labbies who helped with the tests performed on Nemo.
Pepper (Parepanama) - A guardian ghost who inhabits Phantomsong’s mask. He is the one who causes the mirrored injuries on him and revives him when he has died. He also wipes the memories of those who saw him dead. He thinks of himself as a babysitter to Song, and the two often banter with one another when no one else is around.
Dick (Richard) - Modified Laboratory Assistant (Labbie) K7JN0M, made from the DNA of The Lab’s owner, Dr. Baxtor himself. Also the twin of Gizmo. He was quickly found to be blind, but as Baxtor did not want to eliminate what was essentially his child, he kept him as his own assistant. Dick resents his father and brother for what they have done. He would rather spend his time alone, but sticks around Katie and Gizmo because they are, after all, supposedly his friends. He often feels cut off from the world due to not being able to see or feel things with his hands. His face marking has the ability to switch between a question mark, exclamation mark, and ellipses.
Miles Harrison - A short, pale, noodle of a boy. Originally a DanganRonpa OC, the Ultimate Puppeteer, still used as one from time to time. He is physically weak, having trouble lifting even a gallon of milk, and only about 5 feet tall. He has been picked on for a long time, and that combined with his stature make him incredibly wary of everything. He acts aggressive when spoken to, even if the speaker is being friendly towards him as he is suspicious of any and all approaching him, and never lets his guard down. But if you get to know him, he acts more like a tsundere than anything. He has an aptitude for performing using puppets, and in the DanganRonpa universe often put on shows for children using them. His favorite is a cat named Butterscotch, and the hat he wears has significant value to him.
Lester - A mutant from far in the future, after the apocalypse. In this time mutants such as him are hunted down and executed for entertainment. Dead mutants are sent to their own afterlife where they still experience the effects of their death, but they are safe. Lester’s mutations include an extra arm on his back and an extra eye on his forehead, but the most prevalent one is the fact that he is a literal giant, at 7′10″. Despite his large size, he is incredibly sweet. He is mentally handicapped, and stuck at the age of about 3 or 4, but that just makes him all the more precious. He is naive, without a mature understanding of the world, and quick to befriend anyone he encounters, and enunciates all of his words. As he was executed via drowning, he is constantly dripping wet and fears any other water. He has a teddy bear named Sir Arthur, after the protagonist of the stories that the normal who was hiding him when he was captured would read to him. He believes that bandaids are magic things that can heal all injuries.
Lu - An albino teenage girl living during the zombie apocalypse. She has been mistreated her whole life, by her mother and her peers. As such she is incredibly insecure, and hates her appearance, so she crossdresses to help curb her discomfort. She also lost her right eye in an incident with a zombie when she was 11, but has a bionic one now thanks to her twin brother and his science club. She isolates herself from people and doesn’t often interact with them of her own free will, and if she is feeling down on herself she will not eat. She acts cold towards most people, and will rush into a fight if provoked. She also rushes into many situations without thinking first, which has resulted in serious, long-lasting consequences before. She is sensitive to teasing and criticism, and will avoid situations in which she would likely be subjected to these when she can. She tries to hide her emotions, among other things, from people, especially positive ones. It’s difficult to get her to trust you completely. But if you can get her to be your friend, she will defend you with her life. She is incredibly strong physically, though this is the only good trait she sees in herself. She is addicted to chocolate milk and keeps a collection of small toys, change, and food on her at all times.
Wow this took a long time. Anyway these are my babies, if you do want more information feel free to ask! I also have a boatload of other OCs that I could draw, but for now I think this is good unless you want to see them.

CocoPPa Play Star Girl Fashion Revised Review Updated for 2018
I had previously reviewed CocoPPa Play Star Girl Fashion here. It is a cute anime dressup game for IOS and Android Devices. Many of my complaints were about lack of free gacha and how long it took to earn free gacha plays. – That has since changed. Now almost every gacha gives you one free play, just like in Dream Girlfriend, Fairy Doll, Animal Boyfriend, Moe Can Change, and Dream Boyfriend. The first time I reviewed CocoPPa Play, that was not the case, and while nearly every other dressup game I have played let you take at least 1 free spin on each gacha, it turned me off a great deal to CocoPPa Play in my first review.
CocoPPa Play deserves a new review, because now, with the frequent free gacha plays (new gachas are added almost daily) and there’s always constantly an event going on, so it’s honestly the game I spend the most time playing on my mobile phone, and I love it lol. Also I may have not understood how the events work, and new events have also been added since my old review, and it’s not as difficult as I thought to earn even further free gacha spins. In my old review I say the gacha tickets cost 20,000 points. They now cost 10,000. I don’t know if it was an error on my part before, or if the price has been lowered, but it is nice much easier to get free gacha tickets.

I have a ton of pics of CocoPPa Play on my instagram. I will sprinkle a few throughout this review. Unlike my previous review, I now have a lot of pics of my own models (as well as using some screenshots from the official app store pages).
So let’s take a 2nd look at CocoPPa Play below (Please note parts of this review have been repurposed from my previous review, while other info has been added, edited, or in same cases removed):
Title: CocoPPaPlay (the Android version is called Star Girl Fashion but it is the same game).
Genre: Dressup Game
Platform: Mobile (IOS / Android)
Grab it on IOS: https://itunes.apple.com…
Or Here for Android: (For some reason, it’s called “Star Girl Fashion” here, but same game, even same icon that the Itunes version uses) You can pick it up here: https://play.google.com/…
Geeky: 1/5
Sweetie: 5/5
Overall: 70 / 100 70% C- Good Game for Girls
Concept: 10/10 The concept of CocoPPaPlay is simple – play “gacha” machines or enter monthly events to win new outfits. Outfits consist of different layers, such as eyes(facial expression), hair, clothes, shoes, hand accessories (purses, stuffed toys, swords, etc), hats, glasses, pets, backgrounds, and other items – This allows you to really fine-tune and make unique avatars. Similar to games like Pokemini (which I reviewed here) or Line Play.
Gameplay: 9/10 I covered the basics above: There are a number of “lottery” style games (gacha machines) where you’re awarded an item for your outfit by paying or using a gacha ticket.
There are also numerous events to win exclusive outfits. It seems the events change every week or two and that never a day goes by without some type of event going on. Events fall into one of a few different catagories:
In all events you can earn “Lucky Tickets”: These items you can earn for free by cheering for other players shows or completing quest objectives. The lucky tickets can be used to try to play the lucky event gacha to win items/energy drinks, and/or used to raise your charm level for the event – I recommend trying to max your charm first. (similar to the events in Dream Girlfriend (which I reviewed here) Having high charm lets you get event points and rewards much quicker! Therefore its best to max it out asap. If you rank high based on your total event points at the end of the events, you get rare limited items.
Catch Requests: In a catch event, after cheering for other players’ shows, a creature will appear on your screen with a few different catching options above it’s head and showing a percentage of how likely you are to capture them. You can “chain” successful catches to get bonus points, but once you miss a catch, that bonus is reset. If you chain enough catches you’ll go to a special bonus round after your 11th catch, where you see three creatures. In this bonus round, catching at least 2 out of the 3 will take you to yet another bonus round with a super rare creature to catch for massive amounts of points. I like to save my double point and guaranteed accuracy catching glove items for these two rounds.
Fetch Requests: In a Fetch Event (as I have called it), there will be multiple “quest givers” who request items from you in exchange for event points. Go cheer for other players shows and complete quests to earn the requested items, then return to the events page to turn in your items for event points.
Beam Requests: In a beam quest you find characters again by cheering for other shows. Some characters are more rare than others. Once you find a character, you use a beam to “zap” them to transform them somehow. After transforming, they award you points, more points for more rare characters. You can request help, or help your friends take down difficult characters and get lots of points. This event is fun because it goes very fast with large groups of friends.

Fashion Snap: Dress up your avatar to suit a theme, and vote on “who wore it better”. You can earn a lot of gacha tickets in these events. They’re also the most fun in my opinion. New themes come very quickly – every day I believe. Fashion Snap often times requires you to use at least 1 item from the associated event gacha.
Fashion Labo: Fashion Labo (which I’m guessing stands for Fashion Laboratory) is very much like the Fashion Snap events – also Fashion Labo will be going on along side any one of the other events above. Fashion Labo is different from Fashion Snap in 2 ways: The frequency of the theme changing is much slower, and length of the entry periods for each theme are much, much, much longer in Fashion Labo (spanning several days or even a week or so per each theme). Like Fashion Snap, you dress up to match the theme, and judge other people’s entries. The other big difference is you earn blue and gold hearts that can be exchanged in a special shop for more rare items in addition to those available via the rank and leader boards and as quest rewards etc. Be sure to spend your hearts, because they do not roll over to future Fashion Labo events.

Overall, it cycles through these event styles, in a scheduled and precise way, so that you can anticipate what the next event type will be and plan when you want to play the game. I don’t know the schedule off hand (I don’t really pay that much attention to it) But let’s say it goes something like (this is not correct, just made up to illustrate my point:) If the cycle went like:
Fetch
Fashion Snap
Beam
Catch
then it would start again with Fetch and work in the same order again down that list.
And it would coincide at times with Fashion Labo.
NOTE: Fashion Labo is easy to miss. I missed a few of the themes this month. Because the icon for Fashion Labo is pretty much ALWAYS on your screen – Even when Fashion Labo ends, it lets players check their scores, view the contest winners, and etc by clicking the icon. So if you aren’t paying SUPER CLOSE attention, and notice that the icon has new artwork – thus indicating a new round of Fashion Labo, it’s easy to miss. I’m just going to get in the habit of checking that page daily. I recommend you do the same.
That’s about it for events. One of my favorite things about this game is that there is ALWAYS an event of some type, and thus ALWAYS rare time limited release items. So many items. Between these events and limited time gachas.
There’s also a club feature. You can at any level, any time, and for free, create (or join) a club. You can get bonuses in the events above by having club members where certain items or do certain tasks so clubs are really useful, you can also use them to chat and make friends which gives the game a nice social touch.
You also can take on quests from NPCs within the game, which when you complete, will add new items to their shops, and unlock new cities to explore, and grant you some free outfits. When a city “levels up” they have a sale with half priced items – but I never buy them – because I’m hoarding all my Smile Points to use in the gachas.
As a “bonus”, there’s another app by the makers of CocoPPaPlay, where you can customize your cellphone, with new icons, background images, wallpapers, lock screens, etc. This other app works best on android – because sadly, apple has a lot of bloatware that you cannot delete or modify – for example, the camera, you can’t change the icon for it on apple, the only work around is to download a 3rd party camera app, and hide your other icon in a folder somewhere. Email is another example, for example, you have to download Gmail, and hide the default mail app. You also can’t change the phone or text icons at all on the apple iphone. But it still makes your phone about 90% cuter – though it also makes your phone a little slower, as it adds an extra step whenever you click on one of the new icons it is only a shortcut to the actual program so you get prompted if you want to open the “page” with the following application. (At least on Iphone.) This other app also acts as a social media site, and if you link up your CocoPPa account to your CocoPPa Play account your avatar is carried over to both apps and appears on your social media wall – you earn some free items in both apps for linking, and can more easily login/retrieve your account by having both apps active.
That about covers it for gameplay.

Customization – 10/10 – The number of items available is incredible, and many items have already retired, rising the demand and you get “bragging rights” if you have a super rare/old/obscure item equipped and well, I see this game being around 2-3 years from now, so even if you start playing today, in 2-3 years you too will have those rare items everyone else wants and be admired. I like games like this where they retire items fairly quickly. Pokemini is another example of really time sensitive items. That to me really increases my drive to play these games. So while others may not like this feature, to me it’s a huge plus.
Story: 2/10 – There’s really not much, if any, story – I think there was some type of story presented at the beginning, but it’s so bare bones I forgot it quickly. It’s mostly fetch quests and cheering and there’s also quite a few typos or improper grammar and awkward sentences thrown about in the game. Each event has a story, but it’s so similar to every other event story. Just replace X with Y. “X escaped, lets go catch them” where X could be a dog, cat, fairy, some other creature depending on the event. or “My X is broken, let’s zap it with our beams to make it work again” Where X could be spaceship, magic wand, or hotspring or any other number of things. But yeah really, this is not a game you play for story.
Characters: 6/10 – Characters get high marks for cuteness – but really have no purpose or substance, other than serving as mascots because the game lacks a strong story.
Graphics: 10/10 This game is super cute, the mascot girl who guides you through the story and quests is adorable, and the sheep mascot is also cute and he helps run your club. Your avatar and the items are very nicely drawn and large. a Good variety of items and different poses, and the ability to layer many items to create your avatar make this game very very appealing for anyone who loves cute things.
Music: 5/10 – Music is standard mobile type music. It’s cute and catchy, but ultimately only consists of 3 or 4 different tracks which means the more you play it, the more it starts to annoy the heck out of you lol.
Cuteness – 10/10 – to balance out all the negative things I have to say about this game, added this lil bonus in here – the main reason to play this game is because it’s so cute.
Replay Value: 10/10 – It gets repetitive, is super time consuming, and annoyingly “expensive” if you want VIP items – but in the end, the lure of those time sensitive items keeps you wanting to press on to replay and get new items. It’s a very item-centric game. But that’s not a bad thing.
Overall: 78 / 100 78% C+ Good Game for Girls

Geeky: 2/5 – not much to the game play really, but it does have some pretty graphics. Not as robust or as many features as other cafe simulation games such as I love pasta and I love coffee which I reviewed here.
Sweetie: 5/5 – cats, cats, and more cats coupled with cute anime graphics and a casual and easy to play family friendly game.

Concept 10/10: My Nyan Place is the perfect IOS and Android game for all cat lovers. You will need a Japanese or Korean Itunes account to play the game. You can create a Japanese or Korean Itunes account for free which I cover how to do in depth in my review of Aikatsu Photo on Stage here.
My Nyan Place allows you to run your own cat cafe while collecting rare and cute cats, decorating the cafe, and playing fun mini games. You will need to feed, play with, and groom your cats. They need ample space to play, hide, climb, scratch, and sleep. And all of the accessories that come along with it.
Decorate your cat cafe with tons of cute items
Guests will come to the cafe and play with the cats as well as purchase food and beverages which earn you gold which can be used to purchase new items for your cafe.
As you level up, you can begin adding more cats and even more floors or buildings to hold the cats which will then need more decorations and more items for your cats and attract even more guests and earn even more gold.

Gameplay: 5/10 – Gameplay is simple and intuitive enough that you can enjoy this game without knowing Korean or Japanese languages. There are some quests and tutorial items that can be challenging at first to get past without knowing the language, but luckily, you will clear many of these obstacles through the natural flow of the game.
You start with a completely empty cafe and are given a few items such as a table, feeder, and cash register to get you started. You also get to select one free starter cat from the old man’s shop to begin your game.
The old man’s shop refreshes once every 24 hours and gets lots of rare and unique cats. These cats cost a lot of bells, but give you the benefit of knowing exactly what type of cat you’re purchasing.
The alternate way to obtain more cats early in the game is with tickets or bells that can be exchanged for “blind box” type cats. With this method, you can exchange tickets or bells to receive one random cat. You may get a rare cat this way, but you’re much more likely to get a common cat. Different types of boxes have different cats, including rare event boxes and cats that appear only for a limited time.
My Nyan Place Cat Simulation lets you create and manage a virtual kawaii cat cafe
Now you will need to add some important items to your cat cafe to make sure your cats are healthy and happy. With the cat feeder, you can cook your own food and treats for your cats. Each cat is a unique individual and has likes and dislikes when it comes to food. Feeding your cats food and treats that they like will boost their mood and earn you more gold from your guests. You can also grow your own catnip, which can also be used as a treat for your cats. The catnip can be harvested once a day.
Your cats need a place to sleep. Some beds can hold multiple cats, while others are only enough space for one cat. It’s better to select items for multiple cats because they take up less room on the “grid” layout of your cat cafe.
You can expand your cat cafe to hold one more row on the grid per each upgrade, but there are level blocks that prevent you from expanding too quickly. There are also level blocks that prevent you from holding more cats, or having more than X number of certain items (tables, feeders, beds, etc).
You can hire staff to help run the cafe when you need to go offline. Your friends can also help you by visiting your cat cafe and clicking on up to three items that need attention.
My Nyan Place Cat Simulation lets you play with virtual cats
Cats love to play; there are a lot of items which the cats can interact with which help to boost their mood, which as mentioned, help make your cafe more profitable. These items range from scratching posts to exercise wheels to cardboard boxes and anything in between.
The cats in the cafe will play with these items on their own. When you see them playing, boost their mood by clicking on the pink hearts. You can also tap on a cat and interact with that cat directly to boost its mood by grooming, feeding, or playing with the cat.
Cats also like to sleep, but they won’t sleep on their own. You need to monitor their moods and if you see a bubble with a “Zzz” click it to make the cat go to sleep. You also feed cats in the same fashion. A bubble will appear with a blue food dish; click the bubble to feed your cat.
My Nyan Place Cat Simulation Game – Tap the bubbles to feed, play with, clean, or put the cats to sleep.
When an NPC guest character visits your cafe, place one of your cats on each of your open tables. The NPCs will sit and pet, feed, play with, and take photos of your cats. They will also order food and drink for themselves to enjoy as well. You will need to restock, clean, and arrange the food and drinks several times a day.
Although the game is in Korean (or Japanese depending on the version you choose to download), the game sends me notifications in English, telling me “the food stand is strange and to hurry and come clean it”. As well as other notifications in English, which also help with figuring out the gameplay.
Be careful not to accidentally sell your favorite cats. I speak from experience. When trying to transfer from your apartment to your cat cafe, one of the buttons will let you sell the cats. Another screen will pop up asking to confirm, but since it is not in English it is easy to accidentally click the wrong button and accidentally confirm that you want to sell the cat. I recommend if you see the popup, and you think you may accidentally be selling your cat, to restart the app completely. (To do so on an IOS device you hold the power button for a few seconds, then release, and hold the home button for a few seconds, this will cause any IOS app to restart).
My Nyan Place Cat Simulation Game for IOS and Android lets you collect cute cats
Each cat is an individual. While some may look alike, they have different personalities and also grant different stat bonuses such as increased gold, increased luck, better moods, and other status effects. Make sure you’re using your best cats on the best tables for the best results and keep an eye on their moods, sleep, and hunger levels.
That is the basics to the gameplay. As you level up there will be new features unlocked to you such as capturing stray cats in the wild to add to your cafe, you new minigames that allow you greater interaction with your cats.
Story: 0/10 – There might be some loose story, but since it’s not in English I dunno what it is. Story and dialogue boxes are not presented very often in game, so whatever story there may be, probably isn’t very detailed anyways.
Characters: 5/10 – The cats are cute, but just as with story, since it’s not in English, they have no substance to the characters, beyond being just cute pixels to collect. This means that there is no real character development or emotional attachment to any of the characters.
My Nyan Place Cat Simulation Game for IOS and Android Kawaii Game Review
Graphics: 10/10 This game has super cute artwork and more than 50 different types of cats. There are new events added constantly which add more cute cats to collect. The decoration and dressup items are also incredibly cute.
Music: 5/10 The cats make cute meows and purrs, but the music itself is very simple and lacking.
Replay Value: 7/10 – The limited time events and cute cats keep you wanting to play again and again. The simplistic gameplay makes it a good game for some mindless cute cat interaction. The lack of story (at least one I can understand in English), and lack of some features common in other cafe simulation games, makes this a game best enjoyed in short bursts and not played too long at any one time.
Overall: 49/80 63% D “Average Game for Girls”
