Sometimes I wish twomp wasn't so centered around plargos. Like yeah they're cute n all but I kinda want 2 see more side characters yk? Most characters just appear in one episode for a few seconds n just disappear forever n yeag I just have alot of love for them n it just makes me sad 2 know I probably will never see them again. Ashur is def expanding on the world building n lore rn so it's probbaly not gonna be 100% centered around plargos in the future but like. More side characters pretty please <33

Here’s some plargos headcannons ^^

•they both like to go on night walks together, and they do it pretty often

•when they first met, Mr plant actually kinda liked him at first, but started to get annoyed with him, began to hate him, started to warm up to him again,and then he started to love him, romantically.

•another thing was that Mr plant had just killed someone before he met Argos literally a few minutes later.

•Mr plant has acrophobia and every time he goes on a trip with Argos to find a plant that involves heights, he clings onto him like a little baby.

•Argos can deal with spiders, but not bugs, and Mr plant can deal with bugs, but not spiders (what a perfect dynamic)

•Mr plant likes to mess with other ppl by creating vines that would come out of his body or make his limbs turn into multiple vines and trip them or smth, and Argos would lightly lecture on why he should not do that

•The reason why Argos right eye is lighter then his left eye is because once he was out on a venture looking for a toxic plant, and when he finally found the plant it shot out a toxic substance that went straight into his eye.

•Argos likes to play with Mr plants petals like it’s hair, dw they are pretty strong, so they wouldn’t fall off as easily as normal fragile petals.

•Argos absolutely DESPISES his dad, once he got a letter from him saying he wanted to try and reconnect with him, Mr plant had to stop him from burning the house alongside the letter.

•They have similar backstories, which brought them closer together.

•Argos actually really hates everyone, he’s really just forcing himself to engage with anyone he talks to only bc he really HAS too, the reason? Well his sister made him promise to try and change, and uh she’s dead now. When Mr plant found out about this he finally had an understanding on why Argos was so annoying, maybe even enhances his love for him 😏 (this was one of the headcannons I was REALLY skeptical on posting lmao)

•Mr plant forces himself to smile, he doesn’t know why he has to smile he just feels like he has to, Argos love his smile very much, even if it’s not genuine most of the time.

•Both Mr plant and Argos are strong, it’s just that Mr plant knows he’s quite powerful, and Argos doesn’t really acknowledges his strength, he doesn’t even know he’s really strong, his strength normally is pretty weak, but sometimes his true potential likes to slip out at the most random times, his range of strength likes to change for some reason.

•Argos knows about the meaning of life, Mr plant doesn’t know this (shhhh don’t tell him, Argos might chase you down)(we don’t talk about this one)

•Argos LOVES apple juice, Mr plant would often get him some bc he wants to.

•Argos is a cannibal, and Mr plant is lowkey into it.

•They both hate ppl, but expresses their hate in different ways (I kinda already said this but whatever)

Gotta talk about my plargos swap au cause I’m ganna implode if I don’t

I think my swap au is kinda unconventional since it’s not ur usually swapping of personalities? Yes Argos and Mr Plant are swapped but it’s more like they switched (my personal headcanon of there-)backstories, so yeah they are pretty much the same people, just with different circumstances

Argos was still raised by his great great grandpa, but his grandpa is a lot more like (what I imagine) Mr Plants mom, and vis versa. I also made Mr Plant the more obvertly obsessive one here, but instead of knowingly being in love with Argos, he’s convinced he’s just extremely intrigued by him, he’s curious about him and that’s the long and short of it to him, like “nope! No love here! Just want to profile this dude that’s all, this isn’t a shrine it’s just my evidence pile!” still the relatively same beats though(except for a more aggressive meet cute-)

I also made Argos blind, not because he was born blind, but because he uh, clawed out his eyes, all of em- and he’s also selectively mute so the only way they communicate with eachother is through Morse code, tapping on the wall, table, or on skin too, though it’s mostly Mr Plant that does the talkin😭 it doesn’t help I imagine him being very wordy and eloquent, so Argos sometimes just spaces out when Mr Plants talking to him, mf be saying words like egregious and quintessential

They still get together and all that, I just think it’s much more of a slow burn because of the communication gap and Mr Plant being in big boy denial, I think the valentines episode in this au would actually result in a rejection and angst :( and the therapist episode would be when they actually get together with Mr Plant forcing himself to face his feelings

Pairing: Plargos

Summary: Argos trips and falls into his bfs prized possession (it's a TV guys) and somehow Mr. Plant still loves him !?

I'm so sorry this is very rushed but consider writers block uhh constructive criticism is NOT welcomed I do NOT care what u have to say abt my work xx

Argos was not a clumsy individual usually. The keyword being usually, as today he was falling and tripping all over the place. The last straw though, was when he accidentally tripped over the cord to the landline and smashed his face into Mr. Plant’s TV. Wiping the blood away from his nose he sighed a small sigh, he was going to have to clean Mr Plant’s TV, he hoped he wouldn’t be mad for getting blood on it. As if manifested by the void itself Mr. Plant walked into the room.

‘Are you okay? What happened?’ he signed 

“I’m... fine I think” Argos blinked a small smile forming on his face at the sight of his boyfriend caring for him

‘Get up we need to clean your face’ Mr. Plant signed already starting to walk toward the bathroom.

Following his boyfriend Argos’s mind started to wander, was Mr Plant mad at him for ruining his TV? 

As the two arrived to the bathroom Argos sat down on the counter, so that Mr. Plant could reach him without having to crouch nearly a foot. Mr. Plant ran a washcloth under cold water and attempted to clean up his lover's face without bothering his many eyes. After cleaning Argos up, he simply left the bathroom, leaving Argos behind. Argos hopped off of the counter, set on helping Mr. Plant clean up the TV, but instead of finding him cleaning the TV he was watching it, he hadn’t even bothered cleaning up the blood that stained the surface of the screen. 

“Are you not going to clean the TV, Mr. Plant?” Argos asked slightly confused

‘No’ Mr. Plant signed turning his focus back to the current horror film that was playing.

Shrugging his shoulders Argos just went to sit down with Mr. Plant, excited to spend some time with him, after all, he had, had a rough week.

As the night went on Argos began to feel tired, the stress of the day was getting to him and his poor body ached from moving so much all the time. He leaned over and laid on Mr. Plant's shoulder, snuggling into his side as if he hoped to become a part of his body. Leaning back Mr. Plant wrapped an arm around Argos and held him as close as he could. He was glad he was okay. Argos falling had scared him quite a bit and he didn’t want to see him hurt like that again. No, he wouldn’t see him hurt like that again. Not if he could help it. He’d do everything in his power to keep Argos safe even if it meant hurting others, Argos was his boyfriend and he meant more to him than any rando ever could. He loved Argos more than anything in this world.

Here me out-

Argos was a guardian angel.

I know the talk of Argos being named after Argus and other stuff relating angels. That being said, I never saw someone make a theory that he was a guardian angel.

!! I just want to state that I know little to nothing about angels, I'm sorry if I say anything that is false or that is hurtful in ANY way. Feel free to correct me !!

Let's start with what the void would represent. I think the void represents hell. I know that sounds cliché but it just makes sense because we know most people get transported to the void at some point and don't just get birthed there.

Now, let's move on to what guardian angels even are. Guardian angels are benevolent creatures who protect and guide individuals. I believe (correct me if im wrong) they get assigned a person to watch over, and when the time comes for the person to die, they help guide them to the afterlife.

Now, why do I think Argos was one? Well, I think he WAS one because of how he acts. He acts very caring, even taking up jobs like childcare, which takes patience and kindness. Another reason I think this is because of his obvious connection to angels, the bunches of eyes, his name being after Argus. My final reason is that because of him being a part of the welcome committee, if he used to be a guardian angel, he might want to feel the same feeling (or something like that feeling) of guiding someone up to heaven. (I know the last one is a bit of a stretch)

You may be asking "Well if he's a guardian angel, then why is he in the void?". That is a great question. Well, I explained earlier that I think the void represents hell. I think that Argos WAS a guardian angel and now is a fallen guardian angel because he did something to wrong God. The thing he did might be a little linked to how he acts around Mr Plant (like him being obsessive).

That then leaves the question of who he is guarding. I think he was guarding Mr Plant. I think this because it would give a logical explanation on why he's obsessed with Mr Plant. I don't have any other points to back up this claim, really other than it's a cute little thought.

So uhhh short twomp plargos fanfic made from the prompt 'hand holding'. This was like a game thingy I did with @machathecat where we write a fanfic using the same prompt. Anyways this isn't good like at all but I just wrote it for fun so yeah lmao :]

Oh and also tw for murder

The sky was pink and pretty. But it wasn't as pretty as Mr plant.

Mr plant, whom Argos has been in love with since he met him.

Mr plant, who wasn't the friendliest when he first interacted with Argos.

Mr plant, who has started to warm up to him.

Mr plant, who was now helping him hide a body.

Argos sighed dreamily. He was so worried before that Mr plant might not like him back, but now this restored hope in him once again.

They were both covered in blood, from the man's body. The man that Argos killed out of anger for being rude to him. He did feel a bit of regret, but now…seeing Mr plant helping him get away with murder, it was just so romantic.

After they finished burying the body in a forest, they started walking their way back home to wash off the blood from them. Mr plant hoped they wouldn't get caught by someone. He didn't want to bury two bodies in one day afterall.

Argos broke the silence between them, “Thanks for helping me, Mr plant!”

No reply.

Argos frowned. Why didn't he say anything back? Did he not want to talk to him?

“Umm… Mr plant–” Argos tried getting his attention–“I really appreciate you doing this for me.”

Mr plant shrugged.

Really? Just a shrug? He supposed it was at least better than getting no reply at all. But still…he wanted something more.

Argos kept trying to talk to him, but he just got no answer.

Suddenly, they heard something. There were sounds of police cars. They didn't know if they were searching for them, but if they saw them like this…covered in blood, they would be found guilty of murder for sure.

Mr plant grabbed Argos’ hand and ran to get to his house faster. It surprised Argos so much he couldn't think straight. His heart started beating out of his chest and he couldn't focus on anything else.

Mr plant was holding his hand.

His hand felt so natural in his hand. Like it belongs there and nowhere else. Argos wanted to intertwine their fingers together, but they were running too fast for him to do that.

After a while, they finally reached Mr plant's house. Mr plant suggested they both clean up at his house because Argos might get caught if he goes to his house to do it. Argos didn't complain.

Argos went to his bathroom and put the shower on, he scrubbed the blood from his body and clothes. It was hard to do it since the blood was already dry. But he didnt care, all he could think about at that moment was Mr plant. The absence of his hand in his was lonely.

His cheeks started to go red when he thought about that moment more. It was so exciting. Maybe it could even happen again in the future! Maybe he could kill another man so Mr plant can help him again. But then again, he doesn't want him to grow tired of him.

Argos hummed to himself while showering. It was a very productive day. His diary would be hearing all this afterwards.
