Breeze

Giggles leave your lips as Namjoon trails his hand down your side, lightly tickling you and making you squirm. You push in closer to him in turn, burying your face into his warm chest. He laughs a little and pulls you in further, letting you rest your body against his.

The breeze picks up suddenly, and you feel the hammock you both reside in start to sway a little. It’s honestly like living in another world though, swinging in a hammock with your lovely husband beside the ocean. The whole island was so beautiful, and Namjoon insisted that you very carefully explore it.

Namjoon had asked you not too long after finding out you were pregnant, wanting to get some traveling in before you were too far along. You had agreed wholeheartedly, and next thing you knew you were on a plane and set to have a 3-week vacation.

He had literally rented out a whole beach with a cute little cottage looking structure, wanting to spend time with you and only you. He’d been so busy recently and did that you both deserved time together. You weren’t complaining of course, getting to seen him all day every day sounded like a dream.

Namjoon brings his hand down to rest at your stomach and you nearly pur, loving the feeling of his large hands on you. You were about 18 weeks now, pregnant belly really starting to show. Namjoon always had his hands on you now, rubbing your belly gently, leaving light little kisses, and even talking to the baby.

He had made it very clear that he loved the changes in your body too. Constantly gazing at you, warm eyes watching you splash around in the ocean or play around in the sand. It was the icing on the cake when he mentioned how sexy you looked recently, the memory making you smile. Your bring your own hand down the your stomach, placing it over his own.

Even though you were at the stage to find out the gender of the baby, you both had decided it would be nice to let it be a surprise. “What a coincidence. I was just thinking about our wedding last year. You looked so beautiful… made me the happiest man alive that day. You’d remember to do that a lot, make me so happy.” He lays back down then, drawing you up into his arms and his hand settles back on your belly. It’s a relief to know how exited he is to start a family with you. You remember clearly how delighted he looked when you dropped the news, hugging you tightly to his chest.

“I’m living the dream, getting so just relax here with the most beautiful person in the world…. I love you so much baby.” Even though you’ve heard the sentiment a million times, you still feel your face grow hot. It would never get old, hearing how much Namjoon adored you. Of course, you adore him just as much.

“I think I’m the one living the dream, having such an amazing husband. You do so much for me Joon…” he shakes his head a little, telling you that he’d give you the world if he could. Your stomach growls loudly then and he bursts out laughing, shifting around to extract himself from the hammock.

“It seems you don’t need the world, maybe just some lunch?” You laugh along with him, trying your best to also get out of the hanging bed. Namjoon doesn’t allow this though, slipping one arm under your knees while the other wraps under your back. He lifts you up bridal style without issues, grinning down at your bewildered face before turning and heading back to your little home.

“I love you.” You say it with certainty, curling into his chest a little as he slowly walks through the arm sand. His fingers tighten a little bit where they sit against your soft skin, and he pulls you in even further to himself.

“I love you too baby. More than anything.”
