Drawing sonic characters from memory!

I expected the result to be worse but my memory isn’t as messed up as I thought. It was kinda fun to draw 😋

Now, Surge, I have no idea about her backstory. I just know she shows up in the comics, a relatively new character (for me) and I’m fascinated with her design so I looked up some references and decided to draw her I hope I did a good job tho

Sonic fandom was my first fandom. I met so many people thanks to it, and I can’t help but feel nostalgic. Glad to still have friends from back then

i know a number of you follow me for my band related content, and an even larger number of you are diehard my chem fans (because you have excellent taste). if you, like me, were dissatisfied with the killjoys arc in the comics and/or album cycle, my dear friend mostvile is writing what i feel SHOULD have been the continuation of the universe, full stop.

i have the pleasure of beta-ing this fic and have seen it since it was a manifesto of well organized ideas in a google doc. what a pleasure and honor it has been to be trusted with this work. the prose gives just enough away to keep you engaged while allowing you to work out what happens next on your own. it's rare to see fanfic that trusts the reader's intelligence like this. it deftly the already well established lore and weaving in elements from our own world, the parts of the world that mostvile has built in place of gerard's, well, handwaving (IT'S TRUE), and something else entirely -- a tacit understanding of being Other, the half life that comes with informed assimilation.

Love on Tour is forever… or is it?

I have been holding out on posting this for a bit now because I have been struggling to find the right words to describe spending three unforgettable nights of Love on Tour at Wembley Stadium! When I bought the tickets back in September, no one could have prepared me for what was to come and the memories I would make that will stay with me for a lifetime! To be in such an iconic stadium surrounded by close friends and like-minded strangers, there is just nothing quite like a Harry Styles show. Each night was spent singing, laughing, dancing, and even crying as Harry’s voice alongside 90,000 people filled the stadium!

It’s hard to explain to explain the joy that presents itself while at one of his shows if you have never experienced it firsthand. To finally hear “Sweet Creature” live again after many years was a surprise I was not expecting, but to hear “Fine Line” night after night, a song I hold so close to me, was truly magical. And as each night came to an end, the lyrics “welcome to the final show” really set in for the fourth and final night of Harry’s stay at Wembley Stadium. With the fireworks going off, rain beginning to pour, and tears streaming down my cheeks, I couldn’t help but reflect on how special Love on Tour really was.

Eight shows, four cities, and two countries later of Love on Tour, and I can unequivocally say that each show will hold a special place in my heart. As Harry ended the final Love on Tour show with a ten minute piano ballad, I can’t help but have an overwhelming feeling of excitement for what’s to come next! And sure, maybe it is okay that Love on Tour is not forever. ❤️
