just like marking them in general to keep others away?? ..while MC figures out a good plan to actually confess to them. lol :D

Ah that sounds cool! Here's how I think each of them would react to being "marked" with a bow

Takemichi- He probably doesn't even notice, just sees it as a cute bow and thinks nothing else of it. He does get a little confused as to why he's suddenly being avoided, but shrugs it off. Maybe he's just imagining it????

Mikey- Takes awhile to work out what the bow is doing but when he eventually does he's confused. You want him that much? Why not just tell him? He decides to tie a ribbon round you back, assuming maybe that's how dating is done???

Draken- "huh? What the hell is this?" He honestly thinks it's silly but keeps it on anyways. After all you're the one who done it for him. Doesn't know what to think about the marking aspect, he's glad you're interested in him but wants you to tell him.

Baji- He's very confused but it reminds him of when cat's wear bows so decides to keep it. Assumes you only did it because you thought it would look though.

Chifuyu- So excited by this!!!! He immediately figures out why you've done this but then he doubts himself a little so he ends up questioning why. He really hopes it's because you're interested in him though and wanted to show it. Happily shows everyone the ribbon too.

Mitsuya- Smiles softly at it, it is a very pretty ribbon. He has a feeling that you're interested in him and that's why you tied you to him but he waits patiently for you to tell him yourself.

Hakkai- Freaks out! He loves it but it also makes him very nervous, probably goes to Yuzuha with it to ask for advice.

Pah- He has no idea what this means but looking at it makes him happy so he keeps it.

Peh- Shouts loudly like "HUH!???" the first time you put it on. Asks you lots of times what it means but you never give him a clear answer. He keeps it on but hides it though, just in case you're trying to prank him.

Smiley- Blushes a lot when you give it to him, he isn't sure if this is a romantic gesture exactly but he hopes it is. Then walks around threatening anyone who dares to make any kind of comment about it.

Angry- Softly admires it, even if you only mean this in a friendship way he's happy with it. Immediately plans on gifting you something back though, he wants you to have something of his too.

Mucho- Shrugs, he's glad you're warming up to him though. Notices straight away how it wards others off but he doesn't mind, you're the one he wants anyway.

Sanzu- Raises an eyebrow at it but doesn't say anything or try to remove it. Strokes the ribbon a lot throughout the day though and thinks of you. He vaguely wonders if this means you want him but he tries to not get his hopes up.

Kisaki- Scoffs at it, he isn't keen but doesn't dare to remove it. Wishes you could've just used your words instead though.

Hanma- Laughs at it and immediately jokes that this is your way of marking him (it's not clear if he figured it out or if it's a lucky guess though). Teases you that he wants you to matk him in a different way ;)

Kazutora- "what the hell???" He's touched by it but confused. He also dislikes how much he likes it. Does his best to convince himself that it's not a big deal and that you probably don't mean anything by it.

Koko- Looks so shocked when you give it to him, he really wasn't expecting this. He keeps it close to him at all times though, acting like it's his most valuable possession. Refuses to answer Inui's questions about it too. He knows it's your way of marking him and he happily accepts it.

Inui- He has a feeling that you're trying to mark him with this but isn't 100% sure. He's fine with it though and keeps it on.

Taiju- Rolls his eyes after going "huh!?" But on the inside he's freaking out a bit. Is this your way of claiming him??? Shouldn't he be the one to claim you first?? Decides to watch and see how this will play out but if you take too long then he'll make the first move.

Izana- He's very curious about this development. He likes the gift but doesn't like that you're walking around without being "marked" by him while he has a clear mark from you. Decides to get you something back because he wants everyone to know you're his too.

Kakucho- Aww he's very embarrassed but thankful about it. Feels like it's a meaningful gift but isn't exactly sure what it represents. Blushes a lot while wearing it around.

Ran- Immediately starts teasing you about it, giving you smug smiles and making comments about how yoy could use different methods to mark him in the future. He's happily flaunting it around to everyone he knows too.

Rindou- "oh..." is very reserved about it, even though his face is bright red. He's a bit shocked and doesn't know what to say, keeps it on show though. He treasures it a lot.

Shion- Shouting about it immediately, he's running around and showing everyone he can find. Hope you weren't trying to keep it on the down low because it definitely won't stay that way with him.

Mochi- "what's this?" He's straight to the point, asking you what it's about. He is happy with it but the guessing is driving him crazy, he needs to know.

South- Frowns at it, trying to figure out what it means exactly. He isn't sure but feels like he should keep it anyway. Is very loud in tracking you down and asking you about it though.

Wakasa- Smiles at you while lifting an eyebrow, you expect him to ask you about it but he doesn't. Instead he just shrugs and leaves it alone, keeping it on. You get the feeling he definitely knows.

Benkei- He is very confused by this but likes having something from you so doesn't question it (he's also a bit worried you'll friend zone him or something).

Shinichiro- immediately starts celebrating, he's sure this is your way of asking him to be your boyfriend. Also starts making plans to give you something back and ask you properly. (You both probably end up confessing at once).

Have you headcanons for Bonten Timeline?

They spent many years apart, but I want to believe that at some point Koko and Inupi will somehow meet again, mostly by chance and unintentionally, it's the destiny, the universe? whatever, that brings them together again. Depending on the situation, they try to let it go, but they can't pretend nothing happened, we know that it's enough one single time for Inupi to understand that Koko is not okay, so they'll probably try to make thins work. Mikey's death could be the start for an actual improvement

Dark impulses at some point starts to destroy Mikey, he's canonically too thin and generally unwell in Bonten. I believe at some point he became addict to various drugs, together with Sanzu that couldn't help but follow Mikey, remembering what happened in the original Timeline

Chifuyu at some point, partially because of Takemichi's informations from the future, and partially because he knew Kazutora was important for Baji, starts to visit Kazutora in juvie/prison. At first Kazutora is mortified and ashamed of himself, but he allows Chifuyu to visit him because he felt he owns him at least the possibility to tell him directly how much he hates him. But their dialogue goes differently. Chifuyu is still mad at Kazutora, but he understands he was manipulated and he had his own problems even before the accident with Shinichiro. Chifuyu says he wants to try to understand him better since he was important for Baji. So that's how their friendship starts, with visits and exchange if letters. it was natural for Tora to help Fuyu with his shop once he get out of jail

Inupi and Draken bond over their lost (literally and metaphorically) loves and bikes. They open D&D mostly with Inupi's money; I guess/headcanon that thanks to his role in BLACK DRAGON he had earned - not so legally, but still- a good amount of -mostly dirty- money. Since he wants a fresh starts, he's happy to invest all those money in the shop. And it's thanks to Draken's tutor/father figure (the brothel manager) that they can have the permit to open the shop, since at the beginning they were both still minors (Idk if that's how bureaucracy works in Japan, but listen, D&D was a thing in 2008 and they weren't of age yet in Japan, since at the time, until people were minors until they turned 20, lol)

Inupi and Draken try to follow Shinichiro's steps, so D&D became a safe place for kids that have nowhere to go, and they teach them the basics to fix motors, so these kids stay aways from the streets/troubles in general. It's also the unofficial headquarters for the formers Toman members, that stay more or less in touch even after the gang's disbanding

Senju is probably dead in this TL, and probably it's the reason why, even if they never had a great relationship, Takeomi and Sanzu are both in Bonten, even if I believe their relationship is still difficult, but they got closer again to remember their sister

Koko sometimes checks on Inupi at D&D. When he's younger he tries to convince himself he's doing it for Inupi, but after a while he admits to himself he's doing it just because he misses him, he knows well that Inupi is okay even without him... he's even better without him, and this destroys him, even if he's glad that Inupi is living an honest and safe life

on the outside tho, Koko is as cunning as ever, the life he has in Bonten made him merciless, something he hates what he has become but there's no other way to live. He also uses drugs, mostly to work more, but he tries not to become addicted. His white hair is not bleached, it's just stress, and at some point he just accepts it and style it in a fancy way

Kakucho follows Mikey because he understands his pain for loosing Izana. Their pain is different, for Mikey it meant he lost the last of his siblings, even of they weren't actually related and they. didn't even know each other, but they could have been a family, the potential was there. For Kakucho, Izana was his family, his love, his everything

request: ok what about baji x reader meeting at the hospital au? like he makes it to the hospital and the reader is also there bc of an accident and they happen to be roommates? and even tho they're both quite the opposite they start to build a friendship, get really close and after the reader leaves the hospital baji realises how much he enjoyed the readers company + the reader comes to visit him and they keep their friendship going (overall fluff and hurt-comfort maybe?)

a/n: first off: HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!! now, i really love this idea, and this was really comforting and interesting to write since baji is my tokrev comfort character <3 reader sort of has my personality sorry in advance LMAO this is so self-projecting of me; thank you for requesting and please enjoy. please read warnings before proceeding.

warnings: takes place right after the valhalla vs toman fight [alt. ending], reader is hospitalized due to a car accident, re-tellings of blood, and fear. mentions of suicide. THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM TOKYO REVENGERS VALHALLA ARC.

𝐀 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐃𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈'𝐒 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐈𝐓 𝐏𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐒 his eyes and suddenly he feels a dull ache behind his lids. he closes his eyes, 'steady breaths' baji tells himself. he's— to a certain extent,—aware of what's going on: he has two stab wounds, his head is pounding now, and he can hear chifuyu behind the crowd of doctors pulling his gurney. what he doesn't know however, is how he's gonna survive.

baji opens his eyes, a heavy soreness threatens him to close them again. 'must've fallen asleep.' fighting the pain, he looks around to his surroundings. he's now in a hospital room, it's plain and minimally decorated; bone white walls with frames of doctor alumni smiling bone white teeth— baji snorts. "who gives a fuck," he mumbles quietly, before adjusting his position. a sharp pain in his abdomen erupts a sharp groan of pain, 'motherfucker.' baji's arms lift slowly to peal away his shirt. bandages stained with the patches of blood were wrapped tightly around his stomach and suddenly baji felt like he was suffocating.

"looks lethal," a voice from his right calls out. "you feeling okay?"

baji shoots his head in your direction. he was too occupied with himself to realize you were right next to him, also in pretty bad shape: he took a glance at your face before his eyes trailed down towards your left leg that was currently being supported by a brace block.

by his lack of response, and his abundant stare, you answer his silent question: "car accident. drunk driving, the asshole rammed straight into us. and my leg, as you can see, got fucked up in the process." you gaze at it, an unsettling sensation travels throughout the limb. you typically wouldn't have wanted to remind yourself of the fear and blood you saw that night, but the boy seemed curious. "i've been practicing how to use crutches, but my body doesn't seem to want to cooperate," you scoff. "what about you?"

baji furrows his brows, he supposed you were his roomate for the next how-ever-many-days (or weeks, who knows), he ought it wouldn't be a bad idea to get to know you.

"stab wound," he mutters. your eyes widen and his gloss over at the recollections of last day's fight. blurred memories of kazutora, and mikey, and chifuyu. kazutora on the dirtied ground, mikey above him as he plummeted fists upon fists to his face. the blood he choked up was enough for baji to reminiscence the familiar taste in his own mouth. he remembered chifuyu, holding him in his arms after he had plunged the knife into his own stomach. he remembered thinking about how he was going to die, and how he was going to help everyone by doing so. 'well, so much for that.'— and that kisaki, fucking kisaki tetta. baji clenches his fish and tenses his jaw at the mere reminder of him. he hears your voice, and it pulls him away from his thoughts, "huh? sorry, what d'ya say?"

you lean back against your pillow with a consoling smile, "i said it's nice to meet you.." you trail off. the boy gives you his name: "baji, you're the first to accompany me in here— it can get pretty lonely. i'm y/n by the way."

baji returns your smile, before an unexpected yawn escapes his throat. "what time is it?" the view outside the too-small window shows a night sky: dark, quiet, and cold. baji unconsiously pulls the blanket up further to his neck.

"almost midnight, hope you're not afraid of the dark." you taunt.

baji laughs this time, "ah ah, watch it."

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, 𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐍𝐒. groggily opening his eyes, he immediately turns his head over when another groan leaves your mouth. baji rubs his eyes and attempts to shuffle into a more comfortable position. the same sharp pain from last night burns into his flesh.

"be careful baji, the doctor's advised you to not move around too much." a nurse tells him, and greets him good morning. she must've noticed him get up as she was helping you position your leg over the side of the bed. baji mutters a 'morning' back before looking over to you. your face is scrunched in searing pain while you hold onto the nurse for support as she grabs your crutches because "practice makes perfect!" he can see you roll your eyes.

"see you in a bit, baji" you tell him, sending a brief smile his way before hunching as you and the nurse slowly make your way outside the room. with you waddling on two sticks, the nurse is forced to slow herself down tenfolds. all part of the job.

baji listens to the nurse's advice and closes his eyes. he thinks about his friends, his mother, his situation, and you. you had told him that walking on crutches was difficult for you, and he hoped you could adapt to it soon. he wondered where his friends were right now, was kazutora okay? and how about chifuyu? and that takemitchi guy...

someone knocks at the door. it's draken.

"how you feelin' man?," draken says, bending his head slightly to enter the humid room. "doc said you were asleep, when'd you get up?" he takes a seat on the chair adjacent to baji's bed, slumping down after tying a "get well soon!" balloon to its railing.

baji chuckles, suddenly feeling extremely happy to see one of his friends. "just now," he looks over to draken then to the glass of water by his table. draken notices, silently handing over the cup as baji gulps it down faster than he's ever drank something. baji clears his throat, it feels slightly clammy but the taste of blood has significantly disappeared.

"only you today?" baji asks.

"yeah, the others want to see you too. they'll pop by soon enough."

baji hums, head leaning back. he sighs, "can't believe i'm stuck here. it's the worst."

draken mirrors him, leaning his head back against the plush cushion of the worn chair. "who told you to stab yourself?" he smirks.

baji laughs, then coughs, and laughs some more. "shut up asshole," genuinely smiling for the first time since yesterday, "i.. i just— man i don't know." baji was clueless on how to explain his thoughts to draken, so he left it at that. draken doesn't push him any further.

moments later, you stumble in. looking as if you just ran a marathon, you—as fast as you could with crutches—stagger your way to your bed and immediately hand the nurse the canes. you were so tired, you barely noticed the six foot tall man sitting next to baji, who looked at you with bewildered concern. baji whispers to him that you're his roomate, to which draken simply nods.

"good job today," the nurse chimes, "you're improving very quickly. you'll be out of here in no time if you keep it up!" she sends a bright smile your way (you return it with a half-assed smile of your own) before leaving the room to attend to her other paitents.

"improving quickly my ass," you mutter while reaching over to your glass on your table. you raise it to your lip to drink—only to find it's empty. your eyes widen.

"what happened to my water?" you ask baji, who looks at you, then draken, then back to you with eyes wider than your own.

"uh— um, i- i'm not sure," baji stammers as his cheeks flush in embarassment. draken snickers, back facing you as he realizes what he just did: he offered baji your cup with your drink.

draken tells you he'll get another cup for you, saying it was already empty when he came in (baji glared daggers into him), and you gratefully thank him. after he returns with the cup, you gulp it down with fevor that could match baji's. draken bids you two goodbye, before leaning down by baji's ear to whisper: "this may be the worst, but at least you're stuck with someone cute hm?"

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒, 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 growing quite fond of you. being stuck in this bleak room that reeks of bitter antiseptic and uninviting photos of surgeons, was much better with you around.

the two of you would converse all day and night, except for the times when you declared you needed your daily afternoon naps ("why do you need to sleep so much?" baji told you. "so i can rest up idiot! you should try it—you look like a wrinkled vegetable." you relaliated.). now, baji would spend his time either napping too; or staring at your relaxed features until you woke up.

at times he needed to go get check-ups, you encouraged him that the pain will be over soon and that he's strong for keeping up with it thus far. ("don't look so glum hm? you can do it." you told him one day when he seemed extra tired. he had peered at you with a softer look in his eyes, whispering "thanks y/n, you're the best."). and when you would go for check-ups, or your daily walks with the crutches, baji could see how much you were improving with each passing day. he was proud of you, and he could tell you were too: that huge smile that graced you every time the nurse complimented your progress was something he loved to see.

as draken had promised, his other friends came to visit him quite frequently. you were able to remember some of their faces for that reason, too. there was a particular boy who came the most often by the name of matsuno. ("a friend of baji's is a friend of mine, you can call me chifuyu!") you could tell he was baji's closest friend out of the bunch, he showed you a louder and more energetic side of baji you haven't seen yet; considering his situation, you didn't expect much though. it was nice— to see baji smile so widely, mainly because he had a such a nice smile.

the days carried on like so: wake up, talk with baji, laugh with baji, check-ups, naps, continue to talk, visits, talk, sleep, repeat.

one particular night where you couldn't sleep, you nudged him around with your arm until he woke up with a small yelp. chuckling, you guiltily told him: "can't sleep, keisuke."— baji had given you the permission to call him by his first name, and every time he heard it from you, he knew it was the best decision he'd ever made. "no? then let's talk until you do, how's that sound?" he told you, reaching over to brush his fingers against yours for a moment. you smile wearily, brushing your fingers against his once more "... sounds good."

"𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐒 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐖 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆!" 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 cheers one morning, "isn't that amazing news? i told you practice makes perfect."

you gape at her, eyes watering with a mixture of relief and happiness,—yet also reluctance and sadness. you look over at baji, who has a look similar to yours. he sends you a toothy grin and thumbs up. you grin back at him.

"yes, that's amazing nurse. thank you for letting me know."

the nurse nods happily and recalls all the preparations needed for your discharge: who to call, who's picking you up at what time, reminders to pack everything that belongs to you, follow-ups, etcetra.

you absentmindedly nod at her rant, your mind distracted by the fact that you'll be leaving before baji does.

"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐁𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃," 𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈 𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐒, "𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 leave this disgusting place."

you laugh. "yeah," you blink back a rising feeling, "i guess you're right." you look at him.

baji's face is a faint expression, you can't tell what he's thinking. not until he tells you himself: "i'm gonna miss you, a lot."

you can't help the sparse tears that fall down your cheeks. you feel like you're leaving your best friend of 10 years, and you might as well be, with how close the two of you got throughout your time spent together. reaching over for his hand, warm and comforting in contrast to your cold grip, you smile at him. "don't worry kei, i'll visit you all the time, okay? i promise."

"you fucking better," grinning at your laugh. "i'll be here." you nod, and bid him farewell with a fleeting touch.

𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈 𝐖𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐓. 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐃 significantly, but this was something else. and the many nights after that, the unbearable ache remained. it's been weeks now, with still no sight of you. he was beginning to think you forgot.

"where's ... ?" mikey asks as he pops into the room with a bag of snacks. "'nother check-up?" baji knew he was referring to you, but stayed silent, only shaking his head and greeting his friend to change the topic.

as the two of them conversed; sharing recent gossip about emma and draken, and how takemitchi "made hina so mad the other day, i swear she's a lot stronger than him!" mikey laughed and baji cursed because he wanted to see takemitchi get his ass handed to him.

"whose ass is getting handed to who?" your voice calls out from the door.

baji's eyes widen and his heartbeat pounds. mikey turns around, cheers and mispronounces your name—to which baji hits him on the head for. "mikey! you're so embarassing, stop!"

you chuckle at the boys, making your way to the opposite side of baji's bed. "i hope you didn't give up on me," you tell him, "i promised you i'd visit no?"

he sends you a cheeky grin, reaching out for your hand the way you did his. "almost, but i knew my doubts." he shrugs.

you hit playfully as the three of you laugh. you explained to him how it took your family some convincing, they questioned why you would want to return to such a place when you didn't need to. you told them you made a friend, someone who helped you make it through the painful days in the hospital. you had to go back. for him.

so here you were, holding baji keisuke's hand as the two of you promised to stay friends forever and more.

Hiii!!! I love your headcanons :D and I wanted to ask if maybe you have hanmatora headcanons??? This ship is honestly underrated and I love it for how chaotic it could be😭

I remember this being the first tr ship I really got into! This is what I've got for them!

Hanma is one of the few people Kazutora truly trusts. He feels like he can properly be himself and say any thoughts to him. 

After awhile of their friendship, Kazutora was surprisingly the one to kiss Hanma first. Hanma was surprised since he didn't predict this but found himself liking it.

Toman (especially Baji and Mikey) hate this whole thing. Sure they're glad Kazutora is happy but did it have to be with him!?

Hanma absolutely adores how much this relationship annoys/ freaks out toman. Loves calling Kazutora pet names in front of them to tease them.

He also loves teasing Kazutora and seeing him blush 

Hanma and Kazutora's mum get along fairly well, Kazutora finds this out after finding the two of them happily chatting one morning after Hanma came to pick Kazutora up. 

Hanma can be a bit clingy with Kazutora and will lean on him, hug him, pat his head etc a lot. Kazutora (who's definitely touch starved) doesn't mind this.

Kazutora likes how often Hanma laughs at his jokes

On valentines day, Hanma runs up to Kazutora and teases him about if he made him any chocolates. He's shocked and actually very touched when Kazutora actually gives him some.

Kazutora is not against kissing Hanma to make him be quiet (especially when Kazutora's trying to concentrate on something)

Chifuyu has a "no Hanma" policy on the petshop but that doesn't stop Hanma from climbing in through the window in the back

They adopt a cat together 

Kazutora is not allowed to know the amount of cute pictures Hanma has snapped of him while he was unaware. (Hanma can't take the teasing he'll get)

Hanma has announced that him and Kazutora are engaged so many times as a prank (his favourite being the time Baji spat water all over Chifuyu) that they don't believe him when they actually do get engaged. 

Kazutora and Hanma are both as equally cuddly in bed, they end up in a tangle of limbs each morning.

Maybe you won the tickets to go see your favourite band in a giveaway, and you don't really have (aren't allowed to) any other friends to go with you. So despite your Toman friends having zero to no interest in the type of music you listen to, you still invite them to go along if they want to, making sure to tell them they didn't have to go. And to your surprise, all the Toman boys 100% want to go with you.

The boys would be super pumped when you first invite them, eager to have a fun afternoon out with you. Even if they didn't like the music or the band, what mattered was that they would be the ones that got to share the experience with you. Plus, someone has to keep an eye on you with so many strangers around and vice versa - no one's going to stand for you being harrassed when you were supposed to be having fun.

You try not to talk too much about the band leading up to the concert especially around your friends seeing that they don't really care for them, but Draken and Mitsuya take pity on you, letting you rant and rave at them about how much you like - relate even - their music. These two boys like taking the opportunity to know you better, to find out what makes you tick, but the rest? Not so much - they just want your full attention on them and not some far-off strangers (who can barely sing if you asked them).

But when the day finally comes, you know all the Toman boys make the effort to get you the best possible view of the stage - turning up several hours early to try and get in the front of the queue, but failing that, bully their way up much of the queue. Doesn't tell you what they were doing, but the way your face lights up is enough. Baji and Kazutora 100% turned up late even though all six agreed to be there early, but still insisted on being paid their fair share of cuddles (they were promptly pushed to the end of the queue).

Very obvious once the concert starts that the boys fall into one of two camps - one side would get very upset about you liking this band as much as you do. Mikey, Kazutora and Pah are downright pissed with how much you seemed to vibe along and love the performer - doesn't matter if they were girls or guys, anyone that dared to wiggle their way into your heart besides them was unforgivable. Can't see what's so great about "those strangers", but given its very hard for some delinquents to beat up actual celebrities, all they can do is get very pouty when you talk too much about the band though. Unacceptable that you have even the lightest of celebrity crushes on the band members - these baby boys will start whining and pouting and trying to distract you with other things to take your mind off of those scuffs of dirt and back onto them.

But the other camp 100% support you and your love of the band, willing to put their support behind you much to Mikey's chagrin. Draken, Mistuya, and (surprisingly) Baji would be more than glad to buy (read: steal/bully out of someone else) their merchandise for you, seeing that you could be so happy even though the band would never pose a danger to their friendship - it was an easy way to keep you contented by their side. Would even lift you on their shoulders if you couldn't get a good look, wave lightsticks and sing whatever they knew - these three boys definitely looked into and learned your favourite songs. Understand that celebrity crushes are just that - a passing crush that would never come to anything, so they would be more forgiving if you do squeal a little. These baby boys would even tease you about it, they love

A lot of infighting among the founders all throughout the concert and thus forward that's for sure, but one thing for certain is that no matter what they think about your feelings on the band, none of the Toman boys would stand for anyone else making fun or bullying you over your taste in music.

ANYWAYS! Today Chifuyu called me out so I went to meet him and this weird kid I punched a while ago at the meeting to chose the Toman third division captain. Takemichi his name is….

He had the guts to punch the new third division captain in front of the everyone including the president!

I felt like dizzy, the spell of blood hitting me, making me realize that the guy I looked up to as an older brother was now dead and lying sprawled out in front of me….

I felt like the world was ending as my heart shattered into a million pieces….

Somehow in that moment, it felt like it was the end….

Like I couldn’t go on….

I mean how could I? I was the reason Shinichiro kun died…..

But in that moment, I saw Kazutora….

Seeing him more broken than I was….

Knowing all that he had been through….

Knowing that he planned this all so that Mikey could be happy…..

I couldn’t stand seeing Kazutora cry…..

Before I knew it, I swallowed my fear, my withering pain and hugged him close, promising I would never let him go…

Whatever we did and whatever we will do….

We are in this together….

I’ll give up everything just to be in hell with you…..

As long as you are happy….

As long as everyone is happy…..

That’s all that matters….

But somehow that day…..

Even though I tried to ignore it....

As selfish as it was….

Some part of my heart wanted someone to hug me tight just like I hugged Kazutora that day…

When they took me and Kazutora in for police questioning…..

I saw my mom….

Everything around me faded away……

I remember screaming on the top of my voice as the sobs chocked my throat… I ran straight headfirst and held on to her tight.

And I cried and cried and cried…..

For some reason…. I thought she would yell at me….

Even hate me for what I did….

Instead she put her arms around me….

And she didn’t let go……

In that moment,

Even though I always felt very strong…..

That was the safest I felt in a long time….

You know, I feel bad for Pah-Chin. While he was in juivie, Payan betrayed Toman and Draken got stabbed (he survived but still) even if Payan regrets. Baji died, Kazutora returned to juivie because he had stabbed Baji. Mikey's sister has been killed (and he was not here to support him). And then Mikey dissolved the gang and vanished after have pushed everyone away.

Uhhh a pah-chin ask, nice!

I feel bad for him too. He was such a good friend, always wanting the best for his loved ones.

Like I get why people don't talk about him as much, he isn't in the manga for most of the time and as much as it hurts me to say this, he's not exactly the typical handsome ikemen like the Haitani brothers or Mitsuya. Personally, I think he's cute but we have to be real here, that's a reason why people don't write or talk about him that much.

Not that I shame anyone here, I have my fair share of favorites I only like because of their looks too.

Anyway, Pah is a important character for me, not in the same sense as Mitsuya or Draken, but he was very close to the other founding members and especially to Mikey. As far as I know they were both kinda childhood friends too (if you count fighting each other as friendship in this manga, I guess it does)

He's involved in Mikey's dream future too, meaning he sees him as so important that he doesn't want to not have him with him.

After the Valhalla arc he was also still a toman executive, I think in the manila timeline too (?)

I don't think he feels guilty but probably sad and hates that he couldn't be there for his friends. He seems to be very emotional

But I'm happy that at least in the bonten timeline he got his perfect happy ending. I will be so mad if that changes, for real. He deserves yumi and his friends.

Albeit perturbed by the reason you’ve turned him down, MIKEY — being the gentleman that he is, would invariably respect your wishes. Still, the resilient part constituting his personality refuses to give in, and he would try to win your heart over and over, no matter what he has to do.

Mikey would try and get to know more about your hobbies and life starting with baby steps. If he happens to find out that you have a liking for dorayaki just like him, he would buy you ALL of the confectionery you could ever ask for. Imagine 12 big boxes filled with dorayaki and huge bouquets of flowers showing up at your doorstep all of a sudden, with a blushing Mikey saying he’d like to take a step further in your friendship with him. Yep, that’s what you’ve signed up for honey.

DRAKEN, same as Mikey, would respect your choices no matter what; although deep inside, he is a tad hurt. Did you reject him because he’s a delinquent? Were you terrified because of how intimidating he looked? With that in mind, he is adamant on making you change your impression of him — and hopefully, steal your heart all over.

He would be your guardian angel from the shadows, helping you with anything as long as it is within his capabilities. Another thing Draken would do is to change his image for your sake; so whenever you are within his periphery, he would be prim and proper (plus trying hard to be cool LOL fr 🤣🤣) , trying to impress you as much as he could. Even his fellow friends in the gang are absolutely shocked with Ryuguji’s change. Oh, the power loving someone holds.

Oh PLEASE who would reject a sweetheart like him 😭😭💔 go and have your eyes checked thank you very much💀🖐. CHIFUYU is such a lovely person so I doubt anyone would reject home boy; but him being in love is like a classical romance trope — meeting the love of his life and falling head over heels for them instantly. He would try to smile and pretend the rejection doesn’t hurt, but poor boy is this close to having a breakdown. He just wants to love someone, is it that hard for a simple wish like this to come true?

Chifuyu wouldn’t be acting like his usual self for the next few weeks, and it is so painfully obvious that the rest of his friends in the gang get annoyed and remind him that being rejected for the first time isn’t the end of the world. It is only until then that home boy manages to get his shit together and decides to give it another shot. He would be a lot more chivalrous and gentle towards you, attempting to show you how serious he is about being in a relationship.

The blonde would write you little notes signed with smiley faces, reminding you to drink more water or wear an extra coat if the weather is getting chilly — not to mention that he would definitely be the type who would notice trivial details about you; knowing how you’d be hungry after the first three periods of lesson, Chifuyu would stuff snacks into your drawer. Also I imagine that he would be the type to gently persuade you on having the extra lunch box he ‘coincidentally’ prepared. Guy’s a total giver, shoot your shot sexies 🤩🖐😗🖐

MITSUYA would be slightly disheartened, but he understands your decision and has made up his mind to win you over with his skills and charm. You get cold easily during the weather? Say less because Mitsuya would knit a custom sweater just for you; forgot to pack your lunch because you left home in a hurry? For some reason he knows about it too and makes you a spare lunch, ensuring that you won’t starve through the rest of the day.

Like the rest, Mitsuya would also try to build up the relationship slowly whilst making sure you feel comfortable with all of this. He would be that one friend who’s always there for you through highs and lows, sharing your laughter and lending you a shoulder to cry on whenever you’re sad. Eventually, you’re touched by his selflessness and decides to give him a chance when Mitsuya confesses to you for the second time. He has never been more elated in his life.

Mf here is probably the type who’d bully the heck out of his crush just to spite them 💀🖐 giving you light smacks on the head or throwing paper planes at you during class are already the basics; Baji would tease you relentlessly every now and then until it starts to piss you off.

“Stop making fun of me!”

“Yeah yeah, whatever you say.”

Despite his teasing nature, Baji would make sure his insults won’t be crossing the line of basic respect since he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. Being the sneaky type, I’d imagine he has the guts to say “I’ll stop teasing you, but only if you give me a kiss” like STOP RIGHT THERE 😳🖐 but okay he’s hot so I’m going to give him kisses anyway 😗. Through the incessant bickering, you’ve unknowingly grown to like Baji a bit more day by day — and eventually, accepting his confession out of defeat.

Kazutora is shocked to say the least; he has tried his best to look good in front of you, were you not swooned by his charms? He is not convinced at all, thinking that you also like him but are simply too shy to admit. When his friends tell him that you’ve stolen glances at him with your cheeks dusted in bright hues, it only reaffirms Kazutora’s belief — making him even more insistent on making you fall in love with him.

He’d court you like a proper gentleman, showing you the gentle side of him and hoping you’d fall for it. But if none of these works, his ultimate goal is to make you confess with a simple game of true or dare. But after persistence (and a whole 2 weeks), he was able to make a decent, huggable tiger plushie that he gave to reader so that they can have something to kiss, hug and talk to in place of kazutora while he was gone.

Before setting the fight between Toman and Valhalla Kazutora had somethings he still wanted to do before risking everything against Mikey. And each one of those things had to do with you. Kazutora knew he would be arrested again after killing Mikey and he was ready for that, but first your boyfriend needed to make you happier than ever. You already stayed two years apart and now Kazutora will go away again. He needs to make up to you so you don't leave him as everyone else.

First he went to Mitsuya, who was a little surprised to see him, but welcomed Kazutora as a good friend. They had fun for a while and then Kazutora asked his old friend for some help. Showing Mitsuya a child book Kazutora smiled.

"You want me to make one?" Mitsuya frowns a little confused looking at the book. It's a plush toy of a tiger.

"No! I want you to teach me how to make one"

"Why?"

"I need it"

That's how it started. Mitsuya made some drawings to get a better idea of the plush toy Kazutora wanted so much. They choosed the fabric for the body and the buttons for the eyes together, made the cuts and also choosed the sewing thread color. That was the easy part. Even with Mitsuya telling him it was harder than it looked, Kazutora was excited. He wanted to give you something cute. Something special to remind you of him. Something that looked like him. Something you could hug when you missed him.

But there's no hope for Kazutora. All his fingers ended up bleeding a little. Mitsuya never saw someone so bad at sewing. But Kazutora tough, he won't let some pierced fingers stop him. It took him two whole weeks, but Kazutora did it. He finished your present.

He hugs Mitsuya and shakes him a little, soon leaving to find you. It's night and you are already on your pajamas when he arrives at your house. Kazutora doesn't give a sigle fuck about your parents being home and enter through you bedroom window.

Kazutora's face is all red when he hugs and kisses you after handing you the plushie.

"You made me a little tiger? Just like you?" you are so happy snuggling against the plushie.

"I did!" Kazutora's voice is so excited just to see your smile, but he ends up taking the present and trowing it on your bed "But it's for when I'm not around! And I'm here now, so hold me now!"

You laugh, take him into your arms and kiss every single one of his fingers now covered with bandages. You are sure you can hear Kazutora purr on your neck.

He never told you why he would not be around, but you thought it was just a way of speeking. You couldn't even dream about the blood bath yet to come.

☆ — mitsuya takes a hold of the brother's best friend to lovers trope. well, not exactly lovers...mitsuya's convinced that he'll never see you in that way. your heart cracks a little when those words leave his lips. and it practically crumbles into fine dust when he adds on with an I see you as a sister, lavender eyes shine with sympathy upon seeing your clenched fists. you fight with everything in you to keep the tears at bay but it's all in vain. embarrassingly, little sobs wrack your body. mitsuya, the cause of your pain, pulls you into a hug and whispers apologies. you should push him away. use your legs to turn and run, collapse into your pillow and cry till the sun comes up but you find yourself melting into his chest. he smells of what you've grown to love because of him, like baked goods and faint lavender. it's all ironic really, his actions are just making you fall harder, feelings expanding dangerously so. but now you know, there can't possibly be any hope for him to recuperate.

☆ — baji undoubtedly takes the enemies to lovers trope with his backhanded compliments and stolen glances. you’ve always hated his snarky remarks but you absolutely loathed the grin he wore whenever he finished his statements —annoyingly attractive fangs and all. when that happens, his eyes are always searching for your reaction, lingering for a second too long on your lips. you always catch it though, curious eyes lock with his but he plays it off with yet again, a smug grin. one that you'd oh, so dearly would love to wipe off. but despite your irritated chides, a huge jubilee rings through your mind. of course, you don’t act on it. you’d rather string him along until he cracks; that's something (you at least think) an enemy would do.

☆ — kazutora embodies the forbidden lover trope fresh out of juvenile detention. your parents don't have a single ounce of respect for the boy you've grown to love but (no matter how cliché it sounds) they don't know him as you do. they don’t know the layers of affection that shine when you’re with him. they don’t see the pretty magnolias nor the poorly written (he tries his best, you can tell) love letters he leaves on your window sill. they don’t know that kazutora is breath of fresh air; inhales, and exhales of pure adoration. they don’t know of the nights where he’s just a vulnerable boy again, in your arms, nothing but a person of shaky breath and clammy skin when nightmares take him as claim. they don’t know him because they don’t care to. but in hindsight, you don’t really mind because kazutora is an enigma you only wish to piece together and see.

☆ — mikey seizes the childhood best friends to lovers trope completely. you've always admired him from afar. you've admired his strength, his ability to weave friendship & loyalty together so easily. he's unyielding and stubborn at times, acts like a child for the rest. it's all endearing, everything he does is. he doesn't let you get involved with toman at all, sometimes he acts like you don't exist and it hurts but you understand. you understand the life he's chosen, how much it's shaped him for better or for worse. and you desperately want to see the world he crafts, his new age. you're always their as support. when he fights, you're bandaging his wounds. when he gets into arguments with draken or whosoever, you give him advice. when he's lost, his mind to entrapped with dark, abyssal thoughts, you're there to erase them. the thing is mikey knows. he sees the way your heart wishes to merge with his through the look in your eyes; how they shine bright whenever he's around. even if it doesn't seem like it, he feels the same way. but mikey has never learned to do things for his own good.

☆ — shinichiro i think takes the roommates to lovers trope, he's the roommate you gush over to your friends. to them, he's the boy who knows how to fix motorcycles and smokes. they're tired of hearing your sighs and fears of confessing. your heart always gets stuck in your throat when they tell you that it's time to face your fears or there's nothing to lose. but they don't really understand, what if you lost the morning talks with him, the rushed, late night trips to restock on food supplies, the intoxicated giggles at night after a grueling lecture? all ruined by admitting how long you've pined over him. but when you think hard enough, you can remember the way his hands had brushed over your waist when he passed by or how he's always volunteering to make you breakfast, lunch and dinner. or how he memorizes your schedule and sets an alarm for you both. or how — when he thinks your fast asleep — plants a light kiss on your forehead when you collapse on the living room couch. yeah, your friend nods as you spill everything, you really do need to confess.
