Honestly, he appreciated your strength and resilience… especially against Ace since that little stinker tends to get into a lot of trouble. You both often clashed heads, and Cater has been there to record and post it on his Magicam.

Speaking of, this is after you get over your camera shyness. You told him that you didn’t think you were very photogenic, and he just told you that you needed to learn how to get in touch with your good side. So, he takes this opportunity to help lead you and get closer to you.

What he wasn’t expecting was you not knowing how to smile. Everyone knew how to smile! Well, everyone except you, apparently. So he went online and searched up ways to make people smile. One thing came up, and he was excited to try it.

The next morning, you woke up to your doorbell ringing. You opened it to see Cater standing there with a bouquet of flowers that he picked up at Sam’s shop, and the kind gesture made you smile. He let out a cheer as he squealed about how he finally got the smile out of you, and you laughed at his antics.

Ruggie Bucchi

You reminded him a lot of the women of his homeland: fierce people who were usually warriors and soldiers. In addition to this, he was a total simp for you and you didn’t even know it yet. When he saw how resourceful you were, it was over for him. He was down on his knee and holding a ring in his hand.

When he visits home, it upsets him when he writes so many letters to his parents about you but he has no pictures of you to show them how beautiful you were. So, he asked if he could take a picture of you, but you said no since you didn’t know how to smile.

Now, he has put many smiles on people’s faces within his life thus far, so he was confident in his abilities to bring one to yours. Ruggie decided that there was no gift like freshly prepared and well-made food to make you smile, so he set to work.

The hyena decided to surprise you on the way to lunch, since you both liked walking together to the cafeteria on days where Leona went to classes in-person. He handed you a container filled with a nice, warm meal, and you smiled at the kind gesture. He quickly snapped a picture, putting it as his lock-screen and homescreen, just so he can always be reminded of you.

Floyd Leech

Yeah, he fell in love with you when you attacked him with the boat paddle you always carried the first time he tried to give you a big squeeze. No one had ever fought back as bravely as you did, so he fell and he fell hard. 

There was one time where he asked why you never smiled, and he was shocked to learn that you simply didn’t know how. So now he was an eel on a mission: Operation Make Y/N Smile or Die Trying. He did thorough research, too.

He first tried to tell jokes, but a lot of them were really cheesy and dumb. Not really smile material, rather getting a huff out of your nose at the most. He was getting frustrated, and that got him in a bad mood for the entirety of the day. Not even you could cheer him up.

Eventually, you were fed up with his attitude and confronted him about it. He explained why he was upset, and that was enough to get you to laugh. This brightened his mood significantly as he exclaimed loudly about finally being able to see your smile.

Kalim Al-Asim

Mans tries to be friends with everyone, so it was no surprise that he tried to be friends with you. He thought you were interesting, since you were the only student without magic in a school full of students that have a natural affinity towards magic. He applauded your determination and diligence within your academics, and looked up to you because of it.

However, he noticed that he had never seen you smile, and it was very disheartening. So, he decided to try and make you laugh. He noticed that him spoiling you didn’t really make you smile, but you were still grateful for it all.

He tried jokes, wearing a really weird outfit, smiling at you whenever you both saw each other, but nothing was working. Kalim wasn’t discouraged, though. He became even more determined whenever his attempts failed.

Now, he was down to his last idea. He took you on a magic carpet ride. And lo and behold, there was a smile on your face as you both flew through the sky. You felt as though if you reached above you, you could touch the moon, and the breeze that ran across your skin was just heavenly. Kalim was glad to know that this made you smile, since he would love to do it more often.

Vil Schoenheit

You had a resilience that he admired. You weren’t a pushover, and you didn’t let anyone walk all over you. Vil has seen you beat both Ace and Epel since they decided to underestimate you very often.

When you both got into a relationship, he wanted to take at least one picture of you so he can be reminded of you during a stressful day at work. That is when you admitted to him that you didn’t know how to smile.

Vil had a bit of an idea of what he could do. You watched as he went through his entire vanity looking for the softest but functional brushes that he owned, along with his best skincare products. You see, his goal was to tickle you while getting you ready for the photo.

He was glad to see that it worked, and he quickly got a few photos of you, which he later saved into a private folder that was locked to everyone else. After all, he wanted to protect your privacy since you were already stepping out of your comfort zone by letting him keep these pictures.

Malleus Draconia

You reminded him of the stories he heard about his grandmother when she was younger. She used to be hard-headed, resilient, independent; all a good sign of being a crowned heir of the throne. You acted just like her.

However, you never smiled. Did you not like him? Would you rather him stay away and go back to going on nightly walks by himself? After voicing his concerns, you resolved the misunderstanding and explained that you simply didn’t know how to smile.

Malleus went to his retainers to ask for methods that might get a grin to grace your face, and Lilia had a very special idea that the prince was hesitant on, but eventually agreed to try. It had to do with the heart of his dragon hoard.

During your nightly walk that night, the dragon fae explained the courting process of his species of fae, and told you that the heart of his hoard was an emerald. He held it out, and told you that he wanted you to have it. Since you knew the symbolism behind it, you smiled at how much trust he was placing into your hands. You gently put the necklace around your neck and hugged the tall prince, and he returned it just as happy.

Talked about my first impressions here; honestly, the more we look at him, the more we like him! All the elements seem to work rather well, like the gloves, the glasses, the knocked out teeth lol And his sprites are cute and expressive! Now that we kind of get what his vibes are, he is very intriguing. We’ll see~

Idia and his Groom hairstyle are so lovely to see!! It’s his signature hairstyle for Tim Burton parties lol His forehead is showing more this time, very smoochable. We also really loved how the colours of the event seem muted, or rather less saturated, and that gives Idia’s hair that lovely hue that we use from time to time when I draw him…..

We haven’t watched it yet, so unfortunately I can’t say for certain, but based on vibes only I’d say that you’re probably right lol And she wouldn’t mind wearing that uniform either I think! Yeah it’s a bit revealing, but she is probably the type of girl that doesn’t see anything wrong with it – she is kind of innocent…

Omg I'm thinking on the spot rn of some good br headcanons, and I completely agree with you, out of all the dorms, Scarabia, Octavinelle and Savanaclaw would definitely vibe the most in Brazil. First and foremost, I just know Ruggie is brazilian 100%, and I think we can all agree to that, he's our boy 🙌 he would absolutely drag Leona and Jack around, getting them to try a little bit of everything whenever they get the chance. You try to remove the lipstick and that makes Vil angry. Why can’t you just wear it so that so you don’t look THAT pale? Pain. You accepted your fate and go out from Pomefiore’s dorm.

ADeuce and Grim ask what’s wrong with your lips. Answer them that Vil put it on you and they just understand how it feels. Vil is troublesome when it comes to BEAUTY. 

You think how to get rid of it. If you use a tissue, it’ll irritate your lips! Now, think, S/O, how? While you’re drinking, you find the lipstick stains on your water bottle. Oh? Now you know how. But are you going to continue your dangerous plan, herbivore? Yes or yes? YES.

Walk to Botanical Garden and see your boyfriend is sitting near a tree. He’s observant. Leona notices your lips. Herbivore, you’re wearing a makeup now? Well, actually it suits you, but you dislike it!

I think I could pull him if I tried. It’d probably take some time, but we have a lot in common, so I think it would work out. A couple points off because it would definitely be a slowburn type of romance that would take a while to develop. 

Cater - 6/10

This one isn’t so much my as it is him. He needs time to figure out who he is as a person, and he has a lot going on in his life, so I don’t think he’d be ready for a partner. However, the second he is ready and willing, I am the first in line for his hand in marriage. 

Leona - 2/10

Seeing as I’m not a woman, he’d probably have zero respect for me and he’d just ignore me completely. Tbh, he probably wouldn’t even know I exist unless I force my way into his life. Leaving a couple points on there because I might have a chance, but I’d have to be very persistent. 

Ruggie - 9/10

Literally all I’d have to do is give him some money and food and he’d love me forever. But in all seriousness, I do think I’d have a pretty good shot at pulling him if I tried hard enough. One point off because I’m not 100% confident in my abilities just yet.

He could honestly go either way at this point. I’d ask him out and he’d either agree right away, or he’d just laugh in my face, no in between. And all of this depends on whether or not I can actually get close enough to him to ask him out.

The only one I’m 100% sure I could pull without a question. He’s really nice, and I think we’d get along really well. We have that introvert/extravert thing going on, and I just think we’d have a good time together.

He’s too busy with work, and I think he’d probably find me annoying. Even if we did manage to become friends, his duties as Kalim’s servant come first, so he wouldn’t even have the time to date. I think there’s a possibility we could develop mutual feelings, but it just isn’t meant to be. 

Epel - 3/10

Getting him to like me is the easy part. I’m fairly certain I can do that with relative ease. The hard part would be getting approval from Vil and Rook. Rook would probably approve of me, but Vil would certainly not, and he’d forbid us from dating. 

Idia - 7/10

Yeah, I could pull him so easily. He’s such a simp, and Ortho would probably push us together so that his brother will finally leave the room. The only challenge is the fact that both of us are so awkward, that it’d be impossible for either of us to ask the other out without at least one of us combusting. 

Silver - 8/10

Two points off because I’d have to get past Lilia first, but I think he’d be way more accepting compared to Vil. I think the two of us would get along fairly well, and we have a decent amount in common. A bit of slowburn might be involved, but I have a pretty decent shot.

He’d be a total tease for a while, and he’d pretend to reject my advances just to see how far I’d be willing to go for him. But after that, he’d accept my feelings and we’d start dating. There is a small chance he’d reject me, but I’m willing to risk it.

(also snakes are associated with lies, evil, and temptation, which is so true, go apeshit my boy-)

n then his shoulders...the blot ink running down his arms. i just think that it's a yes from me. no but i wonder sometimes if the blot ink is sticky. like it's all over their hands, so when they touch something does it leave behind a trace ? or does it cling to their skin ?

lastly we have his feet n shoes. i love how the dress ends in tatters btw. it gives him a more rugged feel and shows you he isn't a monarch from the beginning, rather that he started from rags and worked his way up. which is kinda what happened, he was birthed into a servant family after all.

Just saw your post and I'm kinda want to share my thoughts for the self aware au sksnksan (kinda a bit shy HAHAHABA👉👈)

It's all started when I encounter self aware au Genshin, well ofc they all Yandere. It's fun to see there's a lot of headcanon lol. And then I enter SAGAU Genshin where it's the reader is the "imposter" and "God", it was fun at first reading it but I find myself not enjoy it since I find op reader kinda boring and I don't really like how all the characters worship and obsessed them isneiww but of course, this is my preference and I don't mean anything offensive. (Well, this means I'm not really a fan of harem jansia) Also it's quite rare to see the non-yandere self aware one 😂 although ig I still enjoy the yandere one haha

Anyways, I always thinking when the reader suddenly isekai to the game, I think they will started to notice the change of behaviors of the characters than how they act in-game, depends how observant they are.

Like hey, have you noticed how Riddle seems to nervous around you? That's quite weird isn't it? Have you done something wrong? Hm, maybe it's nothing! Is it just me or did Leona kinda clingy than usual? Is he like this in-game? Also I swear that Azul always almost lose his composure. I wonder what's wrong... Kalim is the same sunshine as always... but something feels wrong, but what is it wrong? His behavior never change... Right? The famous actor, the loveable Queen Vil seems to quite love to give you skincare, I don't mind but isn't the skincare products seems too much than usual?! Is this normal? Idia also the same as always but why do I feel like wherever I go, there's like cameras? Shivers...

Depending on the player's personality, they will probably more open up to the characters they simp or pretend they never seen this person for the rest of their life. If it were me, I would pretend like "Omg! What is this world?! Totally did not play this game or know the characters! Hahaha!" even if they are secretly obsessed with the player, you never know if they truly know they are just a bunch of characters slap into the game for entertainment purpose. You don't want to make the situation more weirder, do you? Let's pretend we did not heard any characters simping for the player, haha- oh shit wait, why are they attacking each other-

Although the self aware au are fun and games especially yandere, let's imagine yourself fr Isekai in the game and all the characters obsessed with you. I hope you mentally prepared for that haha :) It may be a very scary experience but who knows some ppl into it

The difference between the two (shipping first years and third years (minus Leona who is a literal adult(21) and should not be dating a 16 yr old under any circumstances)) and shipping an oc/yuu with them is Oc's/Yuu's in that situation are usually a self insert

I simp for Vil, however I am around the age of the first years. I simp for Vil, I don't want a relationship with an 18 year old because of the pure change in brain development that happens between those two ages/points in life. This usually leads to an uneven hold in power between the two people, the younger one being more influenced by the older one and being more easily manipulated and controlled (not to mention, that the reason most people go after younger people than themselves is because they cant compete in their own age group (im not talking about two-three year difference between young adults btw, im meaning a 16 yr old dating a 20smth) That also leaves the question of why they can't compete in their own age group

If someone ships a Yuu/Oc, it probably works as either a self insert, or something they project onto sometimes. They wanna have the pretty and put together Pomefiore dorm leader fall in love with them, while also being able to have their oc goof around with the characters that are actually their age

Whereas when you ship... Cater and uhhhhhh (I cant think of a ship between him and a first year, insert a character here)

Much of my thoughts on the topic can be found in this post, but otherwise, I can see what you mean. Relationships between self inserts and characters can be written however you want it to be written while relationships between canon characters are going to have a sort of limit since they have established personalities.

Just to be clear, I do specify 16-year old Yuusona/OC/self insert. I do understand self inserts can be any age you want them to be. But I’m pointing at those people who condemn first years being shipped with third years, sometimes even harassing those shippers, but then they have their first year/16 year old self insert or OC going after a third year.

Which, by the way I should note, it’s not wrong in of itself. However, if you’re going to be so adamant on the opinion that 16 year olds and 18 year olds and above can’t be together but have your first year OC/self insert shipped with a third year, that’s pretty unfair and hypocritical. If you’re going to make yourself the exception and be mean to others, you need to step back and review and reflect on yourself and your actions.

But yeah aside from all that, you do a good job at curating your own internet experience. 😌 Blocking tags or people instead of making people stop creating something just because it’s “problematic” is the best thing to do.
