Since you've revisited the manga for caps, do you ever think about how Izuna could/should have haunted the narrative more? I love characters that are already dead but still impact the story long after and I was recently thinking that he was almost like a sacrifice for the village to happen (in the sense that Madara didn't go for revenge) and how even the very foundation of the village was built on the Uchiha being killed for it

(unrelated to that, but isn't it kinda hilarious that Madara literally and figuratively did haunt the narrative, though he obviously wasn't dead all along?)

Hii how wonderful that I can ask for things and have them delivered to my door like this....

I know people laugh at the haunting the narrative thing bc obviously it's silly phrase with no official definition that people are overusing, but i think it's perfect to talk abt a little dead ninja from a battle shonen on tumblr <3 the levels of silliness simply correspond.

Anyway i don't think he should have done it more no ! I mentioned loving his and madara's stories bding told by other people and i mean it. When it comes to kishi's story i obviously resent some political (and structural) aspects ; in regards to the uchiha see the 'some people are just genetically evil' 'fate is real' etc.but although i might have my gripes with these elements, they are 1. tasty to chew on 2. well served For Kishi's Purpose by izuna i as he is now i think lol.

As much as I love him and love to see him i really think he serves his role with his 3 lines of dialogue and no more (except a couple of ryes)! (see this post and its tags for a bit of this)

Regarding the village creation yes <3 i think it's so lovely that he was ready to die to avoid a senju-uchiha alliance and that his death created it, and that he was right abt thr danger it posed to the uchiha while being completely unaware of the truth. unaware prophet etc i've mentioned it <3
