((Hey! I'd love to start an RP with your V3 cast! What are your rules on OCs and roleplay?))

(( Hey! I do have a couple of rules!

1. I will probably not reply if you just tag me in an old promo post. Send in an interaction. It's that simple- I don't know why, it's just a pet peeve that irks me.

2. If I can't read what you wrote, I won't reply.

3. Don't force your headcanons or relationships on the characters. Yelling at me because "ANGIE AND OC/N ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BEST FRIENDS!" will only get you blocked. If you want a pre-established relationship, please speak to me beforehand.

4. Tell me if you have any discomfort characters from V3 in your ask! That way I don't trigger you! This goes for askers with discomfort characters, too. I know not everybody likes many characters (specifically Tenko and Angie, sometimes Miu or Kokichi)! Likewise, tell me if you have any favorite/comfort characters!

5. Don't yell at me for my headcanons of the characters or their backstories. Remember they're heavily traumatized, they won't be exactly the same as in the game.

6. Avoid any g/ntle jokes (UDG), jokes about Kokichi's or Kirumi's deaths (they're my comfort characters), or too many mentions of m/ney. They're triggering for the mod over here. The death jokes are fine when directed at the characters, but don't direct those jokes at the mod.

7. If your character has a heavily triggering backstory, it's fine, just warn me first.

8. I have a personal vendetta against OCs that are an Ultimate Despair or a mastermind for whatever reason, but I can be swayed if they're interesting enough.

9. Your response has to give me something to work with! Not just '"Ok."' That is the most annoying thing ever, and any roleplayers can agree with me on that one!

10. If you're a canon character, and you're super out-of-character, I probably won't respond. That makes me question my sanity for a moment- /hj

11. If you want a ship interaction, please discuss with me beforehand! It doesn't matter if you're an OC or canon character, some ships will overall make me very uncomfortable, like Oum*mi. All characters are single at the moment, so everyone is up for grabs.

12. NSFW asks are allowed, but I won't RP a full NSFW scene. Sorry.

I'm really happy at how they all have pretty much good lives towards the end? although their trauma being pushed aside is KSJDKDJDJ SAD

ALSO THANKS ABSKDSKAK i never thought anyone would be interested in my ocs,,, so i never talk about them AAA it’s really nice you like them though!!!!

and yeah, i know. :’) but it’s not like they can necessarily get therapy for their trauma, especially since other governments probably know about their whereabouts and whatnot. imagine telling your therapist, “oh yeah i was born as a human experiment  to be tested on in a secluded lab in the US, and the mental scars and trauma hasn’t left despite me living in a healthy environment now.” they could also beat around the bush, telling a story that they made up that was similar to the original situation, but since it isn’t what actually happened, their trauma might not be dealt with in the right way. essentially, they find comfort in their lovers, others, and.. different ways.

since the US probably communicated to others about the disappearance of the six and to keep an eye out for any strange occurrences, therapy would also be a bad choice. though they’ve only communicated, mostly, to US allies, so since Adam/Eve and Hugo aren’t in countries that are allies with the US, they should be safe. for now.

as for Devan’s influential adult..

TW: murder, talks about trauma and illegal/very unhealthy ways to cope with it, certain mental illnesses(disassociation, depression), illegal acts, slightly detailed depictions of gore(?), just generally gross and manipulative stuff.

his name is Matt Sile(sigh-ell), and he had grabbed Devan by the throat and opened him up to the world of murder.

Matt and Devan met during Devan’s last year of high school(17, senior). they had both met during a therapy meet up, but eventually both dropped out of the therapy group and kept contact.

after Devan graduated, he had met up with Matt more and eventually had bonded with Matt like a father figure(more than Devan’s adoptive father, for sure). that was when Matt had told Devan he killed for a living-- well, not directly, but it’s hard to miss if you’re not close to him.

Matt had introduced Devan to illegal working, and Devan, being the compliant and trauma-induced kid he was, had fallen into that line of work in a semi-willing state. Devan was convinced that murder, like Matt had told him, could take his worries away and give him a considerably new high.

Devan was driven to murder by Matt, and they both had salvaged the body of it’s good organs and sold them in the black market. well, obviously it wasn’t smooth sailing from there. Devan had thrown up on Matt’s shoes, apologizing profusely. his stomach churned from the smell, the feeling of the stiff, dead body and the look of it. it was natural he reacted that way.

Matt only smiled, patting Devan on the back, “you did well for your first one! when i did my first kill, i was traumatized for days!” he laughed, making Devan give him a crooked smile.

Devan was conditioned to kill people. he was used to it and his job, eventually used manipulation and his disassociation to his advantage to lure people in for entertainment before killing them. sometimes with Matt, sometimes not(although Matt’s kills are always quick and easy, as he doesn’t care for that kind of entertainment).

Matt dies from a murder attempt, the victim killing him and Devan killing the victim. Devan grows more mental disorders from this; anger issues and depression, and more unhealthy coping mechanisms.

and Devan still does his job to this day, living amongst people in normal(if you could call it normal) ways.
