love media that’s like. “yes the world is selfish and cruel and unkind. yes your life might be brutal short and seemingly pointless. but it matters. you can change things, if you fight for it. and even though those changes are probably small, seemingly insignificant, and probably require great sacrifice, they matter for so many. and with enough kindness, this world can improve. even in the darkest of times, you can spark a light of hope, if you don’t give into that darkness and fight like hell to spread light.”

#because it’s about hope isn’t it. even in the darkest of times you have to have hope.#and hope is an action. hope is defiance and hope is working hard to bring that light inside you to life.#i love dark media but so much of it is pointless edgelord shit who the point it’s dumb #oh what’s the point everything sucks- yeah everything sucks in our world too and we're fixing things.#There’s no such thing as lost causes because we can always make things just a little bit better if nothing else #And a hundred people making things a little bit better in their own way improves a whole lot!
