side note I do think about Anya's medical ability a lot...I gotta write my thoughts in depth but I think its interesting to analyze. Like it's really easy for people to go point at a character trying to do something and imagine them as an expert or secretly very skilled but I find her really relatable in the sense she's got a goal in mind yet despite all her efforts she never seems to reach it. Instead it becomes a point of mockery by others.

I do believe that Curly being alive is the most supernatural aspect about the Tulpar cause to me he resembles more of a ghost that won't depart than a person capable of medical recovery. I just like the imagery of Anya struggling to aid him but his condition never improves, in fact he always appears to be in a stasis of misery, an eternal reminder of failure and accountability.
