thinking about how if we were partying together paige would def help me if my feet were hurting :( she wouldn't even make me feel bad for choosing shoes that would eventually hurt bc she knows i chose the ones that would look best with my outfit and she loves me for that. you start taking tinier steps to keep up with her while she has her hand on the small of your back inside the bar. both of you are tired from dancing but paige's feet don't hurt at all bc she has a pair of sneakers on. she'd see you sleepily leaning into her a bit and ask "you tired, baby?" to which you pout and say "not tired but my feet hurt a bit..." paige copies your pout and rubs her hand up and down your arm "wanna sit down and i'll call a car for us?" as soon as she says it your slightly drunk brain is nodding gratefully, she already has her phone out to call the uber as you kiss her cheek and tell her, "you're a lifesaver, p" because she takes such good care of you...always seems to anticipate your needs without you ever having to say too much.

the car drops you guys both off in front of the apartment building and she can tell from the way you're shuffling that your feet still hurt. you each make it to the elevator but the challenge now is that your place is at the end of a long hallway and you're already wincing just thinking about walking that far in the shoes you're wearing. paige shoots you a look and asks if you would like to be carried and you consider it as the elevator doors shut behind you guys. she's effortlessly scooping you up bridal style and walking you down the hallway. you let yourself be carried by her, noticing how strong she's been lately. you give her a long, heavy-lidded look and tease, "baby you are soooo strong. those hours in the weight room are showing..." and she starts looking down at you and blushing like crazy and laughing telling you to "shut up" but she's eating it up. like she 100% loves that she gets to carry you to your guys' apartment because your feet were hurting but she would literally do this every time you guys went out if it meant you'd still wear your favorite shoes. she loves that she's still taller in you in your heels. you slip off your shoes and sigh in relief, beyond ready to take your makeup off and have paige's strong arms wrapped around you as you both fall asleep
