It's funny, I actually wanted to be a musician way before I started drawing, because I thought drawing is something only certain magicians can do. 

As a kid who used to play flash games a lot, I thought I wanted to be a musician for games 'cause it sounds like fun. I started fiddling with music making around 2011, back when I was still making YTPMVs on Youtube. I soon discovered the blip blop sound genre called chiptune (or I initially thought called keygen music).

When I was planning to make more YTPMVs based on some certain tunes of the same genre, I fell more in love with the genre when I discovered the tool people use to compose it. There are tons of programs called music trackers (like, track-er; making a track, not searching music) out there, but I first used MilkyTracker, used that for a while. Eventually I found another tracker called OpenMPT; still using that today. 

I'm pretty much self-taught; experimenting a ton, listening to other artist's tune to see how do they do their stuff for about 3 to 4 years on and off until I got some decent sounding tunes. I would've started using those mainstream DAWs like FL Studio, but my laptop is too much of a potato to run them :c

Unfortunately, I haven't seen many people who I know who are fond of the genre; there's no doubt many people mostly like other electronic genres like DnB, Trance, Eurobeat, things like that, and I'm not really fond of any of those genres, to be honest. As a result, I don't get much support; it's one of the reasons why I don't compose more. 

Another reason is that one time my tune got rejected from one of Ponies at Dawn's album, my motivation to compose anything has pretty much plummeted to the point I'm too scared to share any of my WIP stuff. Then again my fault for not asking for feedback for said tune during the time I was working on it, heh. Ah well.

I've actually planned to release my tunes on Youtube, but so far I've only uploaded one because, well... I'm not really motivated to do so and I'm too captivated drawing cute hors. :P So yeah.

Whew, that's a long one. I think I answered a lot more than you asked, haha. Other than that, nothing much.
