✦ pouts immediately and slumps, crossing his arms and looking away in protest.

✦ maybe he’ll try again but if you block him then too, trust me. he’s going to act like a kid having a tantrum and whine and mutter under his breath.

✦ “baby, why aren’t you letting me kiss you…”

✦ you end up smothering him in kisses until he grins and hugs you happily before pouting again, making you sigh.

✦ he’s not getting over it for a while for sure, and will hold it over your head forever.

✦ raises an eyebrow when you move away from him but leaves it at that, going back to his phone.

✦ is confused and stares at you with his head tilted. he doesn’t usually initiate anything so he doesn’t get why you’re refusing him.

✦ puts a hand to your forehead to check your temperature and senses nothing wrong, so he leans back in his seat on the couch beside you, the same expression on his face.

✦ eventually spaces out until you giggle and move over to kiss the side of his lips, and he turns to you and blinks before letting out a sigh of relief.

✦ “yeah, i have no idea why you blocked my kiss…that was confusing.”

✦ also someone who doesn’t initiate skinship most of the time and tilts his head in concern, swiveling back to face the computer screens in front of him.

✦ he starts to overthink everything he has or hasn’t done in the last few days, sneaking looks back at you to gauge your expression.

✦ eventually goes back to working on the song he started, expecting you to explain when you want to.

✦ when you come over and wrap your arms around his neck and place a kiss on his cheek, he turns to look at you. when you giggle, he smiles, patting your arm.

✦ “oh okay, i thought you didn’t want to be around me right now…i’m glad that’s not the case.”

✦ when you move your face away from him, he pauses, softly asking if you’re alright.

✦ when you don’t respond, he squeezes your hand reassuringly, and lets you be, sitting quietly next to you as he sips his cup of tea.

✦ he’s surprised when you kiss the hand that’s holding yours eventually, unable to keep him waiting longer.

✦ he smiles gently before teasing you, nudging your shoulder.

✦ “i can’t believe i don’t get to kiss you but you can kiss me. seriously though, you okay? maybe you should start on your tea, i’m sure it’ll help.”

✦ pouts when you don’t let him welcome you with a kiss while you’re in the doorway of your home, and chases you around until he can finally put his lips to yours with a giggle.

✦ back hugs you until he gets answers from you and if this holding you isn’t enough, he starts to tickle you, and eventually you crack.

✦ he pretends to think before asking for another kiss as an apology, and grins when you oblige.

✦ “you really think you could get away from me without a kiss? well, i think not!”

✦ also pouts automatically, shocked as he pulls back from your face as he cuddles you.

✦ he frowns as he puts his hands on either side of your face to inspect it and see if you’re not letting him kiss it because you’re conscious of something. when he finds nothing, he grabs your hands, asking if you’re okay. 

✦ and yeah, it’s hard for you to hold back—so you don’t, and you peck him on the lips quickly before moving back to see his reaction.

✦ his eyes are wide and he smiles slowly before pulling you close with a sigh of contentment.

✦ “i thought something happened, my love! don’t ever scare me like that again, okay?”

✦ immediately gives you a stink face with the worst side eye ever. what do you mean you don’t want a kiss from him? don’t you love him and his tendency to kiss you on the cheek all the time? 

✦ he narrows his eyes at you when you don’t say anything and sighs, asking if something happened and if he can do anything for you.

✦ when he frowns in concern, you reach to grab and kiss his cheek with a giggle, and he groans before kissing you back softly, looking off to the side after. eventually, he cuddles closer to you and plays with your hands, mumbling under his breath about how you scared him, and how he’ll always give you reminders of much you mean to him so you’ll never forget—or stop him from kissing you.

✦ “don’t get me worried like that again, okay?”

✦ tilts his head at you but doesn’t push it like jeonghan, though he does this because he knows you’ll communicate if something’s wrong. 

✦ leaves you be and goes back to watch cat videos on the couch next to you, deciding not to leave so he can remind you that he’s always here for you, even if you don’t necessarily want him there—which is what he believes right now.

✦ you eventually move to snuggle against him and watch a cat try to do a backflip with him, and kiss the corner of his smile, and it only gets bigger as he takes your hand. 

✦ “glad to have you back. anyway, have you seen that one video where a cat gets super scared by a spider and flops down onto their owner’s stomach—”

✦ looks at you confused when you don’t accept his kiss hello, and you can see the question mark hanging over his head. 

✦ also grabs your hand to ask if you’re okay, and scans your body to see if you’re hurt anywhere.

✦ he smiles when you kiss him after a few minutes of just him standing there and staring at you, determined to figure out what’s wrong.

✦ intertwines your hands so you can walk to wherever you’re going, and looks at you lovingly the entire time.

✦ “what? wow, you didn’t want me to kiss you first, and now i can’t even look at my favourite person in the world?”
