Fun fact about me, I'm the BIGGEST Jurassic Park nerd.

Jurassic Park is my movie. Ask anyone. I've been a fan since childhood, and I still have my nearly-extinct VHS copy that I played (and rewound!) on repeat as a kid.

Jurassic World was a great series but it mis-stepped a lot from the original intention of the saga, and while fun movies (I'll always be a Owen fan!) they really didn't meet that age-old Jurassic Park bar. They're amazing in their own way, as their own series.

I'm stoked for this new era of Jurassic, "Rebirth" is everything I've said this franchise needs. First we get ScarJo, who I'll argue is maybe one of three truly classic heroine Hollywood leads to headline our cast. She's a brilliant act from everything to feminine roles to masculine-feminine parts. I think she'll bring a lot to this table. I've been saying for years she needs to headline either a Jurassic Park or Transformers franchise, and I was RIGHT!

Second, we have the thrills and chills of the big-bad, period-accurate dinosaurs. I am itching to see these brought to life and the interpretations of accurate models, the "titans." We already know they're gonna be the biggest and the baddest, and that is a bold promise; sets the bar in the clouds. More teeth, more terror, more wild. I can't wait to see how it plays out and if we get that good Jurassic Park action-cocktailed-with-science-and-ethics mix.

Strong trailer, strong premise, even stronger promises. Let's see if the teeth deliver. Topping my summer blockbuster list!

I love how much the kids at Camp Half-Blood trust and respect Luke. When Percy is firing the bow in the second episode and tells the Apollo girl not to set the arrow on fire, she doesn't let the flame out until she looks to Luke. She looks at Luke for confirmation on what she should do, and only then does she do what Percy had asked, because Luke agreed with it.

Also the fact that like, many of the cabins probably wouldn't have let Percy try to figure out his skills alone, but Luke of all people was there to vouch for him. Luke was guiding Percy, so the cabins obviously thought "Oh, okay, Luke is helping this kid, so we should too."

And Clarisse not messing with Percy until he was alone. Sure, she shoulder checked him and warned him while Luke was there, but she didn't actually do anything until Luke was gone. Until Percy was alone with nobody to help him.

And Chris telling Percy that Luke is the strongest swordsman at camp, so clearly proud and in awe of Luke. And yeah, Chris has likely already betrayed the Camp too, but still. He trusts and respects Luke so much, as does everyone else.

And don't even get me started on Annabeth. She holds him in such a high regard and god, when she asks him if "today feel like a winning kind of day to you?" it's just so obvious how much she trusts him.

His betrayl is going to ruin me and all of the campers. I can't wait !!!
