Reading Love Like the Falling Petals and it's weird that the main character's brother is the more interesting character.

Don't get me wrong I don't hate the MCs (Misaki and Haruto) and their romance is a bit cute. But Takashi (Misaki's brother) is a more compelling character. He's pretty cool guy: defeated a gambling addiction, runs a successful small bar, and has a loving gf that he wants to marry.

And when he finds out his sister has incurable fatal illness, he's trying everything he can to help her. Even going to some pseudoscience magnet thing to help his sister.
