im putting together a collection of everything discovered and what that could mean for @heyitsdoe’s murder mystery event. the suspects with decreasing order of suspicion, what items go with who (and if its confirmed), and things i thought were interesting/important (and where it was learned). in case anyone wants to draw their own conclusions from this

if the murder weapons are listed with a suspect its because they knew why it was of interest, not necessarily bc i think they used it

doffy

most suspicious for what i feel are obvious reasons, possible red herring. motive: gaining the deed to the estate for weapons trades

items: deed to the estate (✔️), suspicious bottle of wine

lucci

cagey, spent the night alone, passing blame, and at the party “on business”. motive: ?

items: locked suitcase (✔️), pack of cards, suspicious bottle of wine, copper wire

kid

hot headed and uncomfortable in his investigation. motive: had gotten in a fight with doe and his apology was... terrible, maybe crime of passion?

items: does phone (✔️), lackluster apology note (✔️)

mihawk

calm but doesnt seem to appreciate that hes being interrogated. also, no one seems to know where he was last night. motive: ?

items: broken glass (✔️), expensive painting (✔️)

x drake

a marine sent to investigate who doe was sided with, and unable to send out his report. motive: maybe what he found he didnt like and took matters into his own hands?

items: hidden den den mushi (✔️), signs of disturbance

katakuri

the most distressed by the muder, altho not surprising given his relationship with the deceased. motive: confessed his love for doe and was turned down. crime of passion?

items: torn love letter (✔️), suspicious bottle of wine

marco

the most at ease with a constant smile that has disturbed more than a few of the other suspects. motive: took offense with the way doe was writing him, and the fact she didnt plan on changing

items: notebook with ripped pages, ripped notebook pages (✔️), suspicious bottle of wine

law

forthcoming with information, and the only one so far whos admitted to trying to use their powers. motive: doe was concerned about him not getting enough sleep and wouldnt drop it to his annoyance

items: crumpled pamphlet (✔️), sleeping pills (✔️)

killer

difficult to read due to the literal mask on his face, claims he didnt have much of a relationship with the deceased. motive: doe had wealth and a lot of it, and he felt the money could have been spent elsewhere

items: drops of blood (✔️), empty jewelry box (✔️)

doe

the illustrious host who has been less than helpful thru the night, although that may be on account of her being dead. so far shes asked where her chapstick is, revealed that she knew the party was a bad idea, and a simple, cryptic hes lying to you. her latest message was simply to ask whether weve solved her murder yet. she probably doesnt have much more to say

- doe died silently, either thru the method of murder or location (katakuri)

- the library has a “strange quiet” (library)

- the house seems to have seastone in it somewhere, preventing anyone from using their powers (kid, law)

- doe hadnt been feeling well (x drake)

- mihawk disappeared early in the night (marco)

- the pack of cards is “still tucked tightly in its box” (living room)

- broken glass is from a champagne flute (dining room)

- doe dropped a champagne glass and hurried off bc she felt strange, presumably while drinking with mihawk (mihawk)

- doe said that “he’s lying to you”. could be stating the obvious or it could be letting us know the killer was someone she trusted/someone who seems upset (does ghost)

- katakuri left the kitchen abruptly and went left, which leads to the lounge and the master bedroom, where he probably bumped into x drake (killer)

- mihawk believes the assassin was after him (mihawk)
