Brooklynn: "Yaz? It's Brooklynn. Don't ask how I got this number. I need to tell you something."

Yaz: "Are we about to be eaten by raptors? Is there an operation we're getting too close to? Are you coming back? Or maybe going to talk to your boyfriend? And no, I'm not gonna specify which one..."

Brooklynn: "Ah-ha-haaa, classic Yaz...that's why I called you! Actually, that's not why I called you. I need to tell you something...don't get mad..."

Yaz: "Couldn't be madder. What's up?"

Brooklynn : "Okay, so you know Soyona? Santos? The Broker?"

Yaz: "The woman who basically kidnapped you after she--it turns out--failed to murder you and then tried to kill the rest of us and is still the reason why we're looking over our shoulders?"

Brooklynn: "Yeah..."

Yaz: "With the perfect hair, crisp suit, and expensive-looking heels?"

Brooklynn: ".....yeah...."

Yaz: "The one with the incredible cheekbones and the unsettlingly soothing voice?"

Brooklynn: "............yeaaah...."

Yaz: "And the--I assume--vanilla-flavored lips?"

Brooklynn: "..............it's saffron."

Yaz: "Bougie. Do you want me to tell Kenji first? Or Darius? Or is this girl talk, just between us girls?"

Brooklynn: "....I kinda wanted you to be angry at me."

Yaz: "Come home, and I'll consider it. Otherwise, you make that bed, you lie in it. Unless she's the one who makes the bed."

Brooklynn: "....you are mad at me."

Yaz: "From the day we met. Now let me sleep. It's three AM here."

Brooklynn: "It's a one-hour difference!"

Yaz: "Then get your sleep!"

Yaz: *ends call, turns phone to silent*
